This shop was the first place I swiped my visa overseas. Which was a big milestone for me, lol. The shop is clean and cool in this summer heat. I appreciated the warm and welcoming baristas, especially when I was craving the familiar comfort of a hot caramel macchiato. The shop was close to the Market St. bus stop which made it a very convenient place to squander the extra minutes between myself and the bus. I highly recommend them. They made this American feel right at home.

Really good coffee! But the prices need sorted out. Of course this is the same with every starbucks, but seriously? You do get what you post for though and it definitely does not disappoint.

Decent Starbuck with pleasant staff. There isn't a lot of seating but it's reliably clean and service is fast enough to be a good take away spot.

I visit this starbucks quite a lot, and my interactions with the staff have been nothing but fantastic. I am sad to submit this review, as most times I do feel welcomed and the staff is extremely helpful. In this one instance, the person at the till (cant remember name) took my order very rudely, making faces at me while I was ordering "the hardest drink to make without even having the app". I understand that, this being a student run town, playful wordplay between customer and staff is everywhere, but talking to a decaffeinated student with mere sarcasm, indicating that they burden you is a bit much. Even if this is your style, you should be able, at this point, to spot when youre making someone feel uncomfortable, especially in hospitality. A colleague (cant remember the name) realised I was feeling weird about it and jumped in as she recognised me, asking me something about a previous order I had first tried a day before (which two employees kindly talked me through) Again, my overall experience in this shop has been great, but I felt the need to express this so the person that handled my order avoids similar interactions in the future.

Staff could not do enough. My coffee got cold and it was replaced with a fresh one extra hot. Toastie was very good and worth the money. Staff very attentive.

Great service, nice ambience. Annoying electronic visual displays behind counter make choosing from the menu difficult as it keeps jumping from menus to ads when making my choice of checking prices. Suggest dumping this ASAP.

Starbucks are usually quite slow as they have to makes things fresh but this one was very slow. That said it was busy and the staff were smiling. I just can't give a 4.

It is just Starbucks, but in a nice spot with outdoor seating for watching the world go by.

Fraser was an amazing barista offering amazing recommendations and very friendly. He made me and my partner feel very welcomed and provided sensational service. Thank you Fraser !!!!! We will visit again thanks to him.

Very busy but all the food was nice and fresh. You get a decent cup of tea as well.

Always a great place to stop for tea or coffee and maybe a snack to keep you going or take a break and relax. This branch is open until 7pm unlike other coffee shops in St.Andrews which close at 6pm and quite often won't let you order after 5.45. Starbucks always has the same products so you know what to expect, plus the products are always a great taste. Staff are always very friendly and helpful.

Anna is the loveliest, kindest and most helpful person ever! Despite being super busy/during very busy periods her customer service was absolutely stellar, she clearly goes above to make you feel so so looked after and brighten your day, somehow managing to be super friendly whilst also efficient in balancing everything else. She 100% made my flatmate & I’s evening! An absolute credit and someone who should definitely be celebrated and appreciated. The second we sat down I knew I’d have to ask for her name to right this, she made the loveliest impression and really brightened our days. Thank you so much Anna!

The only coffee shop in St Andrews to welcome dogs, Coffee and cakes were good and staff were also very friendly.

It's a Starbucks! It's very small but there are tables if you want to sit in. It's also very busy as it's the only one and this is a university town and a bit of a tourist hotspot. Our wait wasn't long though but if the queue is long its gonna be out the door. Good staff service .

Racism cafe. Today I was been asked to leave the store and give the table to the other customers without any improperly behavior. As a loyalty customer of Starbucks I just feel UNBELIEVABLE. I didn’t even finish my coffee and food.

Over priced and tasteless. Everything that you could get wrong whilst making coffee in one cup, hot chocolate was watery too. No stars if I could.

We needed some whole milk warming for our little toddler and Anna did it no problem with no fuss and really helped us out- we popped in to Pret a couple of doors down who were quite rude so it made Anna’s gesture to help out even more appreciated. I only drink Starbucks coffee now when I’m in St Andrew’s- Anna is a credit to Starbucks business- thanks

Latte made by Mariusz was just excellent. We were tired and on our way with our kids. He was professional, friendly and his coffee made my long trip home happy and safe one. Will recommend to everyone.

The coffee is standard. Sitting in is okay. Not really distanced if you go through to the back area and the table beside the doorway to the toilet is far to close to people going through the door. The bins were full and as its all takeaway cups you would of hoped they would be emptying them more regularly. It wasn't very busy when we were there around 2pm but when we left around 3pm it had picked up alot and was full.

Great friendly staff. Speedy service too given the Covid climate. Didn't have to wait outside long at all.

Only started ordering from the St. Andrews store recently but our drinks are always at a very high standard and nice and hot! Don't think I'll be returning to Costa when it reopens!

Just what I needed on a chilly walk around St Andrews. Lost a star as it was very difficult to hold my cup outside and add sugar, stir etc in the wind. When someone asks for sugar or extra milk etc it would be helpful to add it for the customer as there are no stations available for doing this yourself. Which I understand is necessary given the current situation.

I go in there regularly, staff are brilliant, and the best coffee in town, without a doubt.

I just came from Starbucks St Andrews and honestly, it was an absolute nightmare. I entered the store with my adult daughter and a really rude male employee prevented me from seating by telling we both had to wait in line first. I have a disability that affects my joints and while I appear to be healthy, I'm not and standing for longer than necessary can be a problem. After that, despite the store not being busy, they forced us to seat in a cramped space with zero distance, despite having other tables open. We decided to not stay and once I got in the car I noticed they gave me the wrong drink too. Absolutely unacceptable!

Do not notify customers easily that its orders only on app for orders on certain days. Door was locked at 5.55pm when closes at 7pm with no notice to explain what to do for ordering. I saw 7 customers stand and wait for couple of minutes then they left, I let them know its phone orders only but they were not wanting to do that so left

I went to sit down at one of the many free tables while my daughter joined the queue for coffee. She queues as l am disabled and can’t stand for long. I was approached by a staff member who told me that I couldn’t sit down unless I joined the queue and bought food first. Before I could respond she was off to tell someone to leave a table. Quite mad, is a table of six people all to join the queue? Door too narrow to get my wheelchair into too! Rude staff like this are rare.

Starbucks continues to be incapable of spelling my name in any semblance of correctness.

At the moment they dont take cash payments. Had spent most of the day in and around St Andrews went in for a much needed coffee but as I had no card or phone with me I had to use Costa along the street who were more than happy to take my cash

Very similar to the design of Costa with similar food and drinks at roughly the same price. It isn't somewhere to order a meal, it's more for ordering beverages.

We dropped in for a Cappuccino and a cake place was very busy but we were lucky to grab a table . The place could do to be twice as large staff run off their feet with a smile on their face coffee and cake were excellent . You can always tell if the quality is ok when you see the queue of customers at the counter . They say customers vote with their feet ....well their feet are bringing them through the door .

Coffee was really good, I've had a couple of shockers lately but this was good. Young lady at the till was really helpful.

This Starbucks isn’t particularly large, but we were fortunate to find a vacant table. As far as decor is concerned, it was pretty run of the mill. The service was quick and friendly and the coffee ok without being outstanding - but I accept that that is a personal thing; I just prefer Cafe Nero. The bottom line is that this is a perfectly fine example of the Starbucks chain.

Very tired and dirty looking seating area. Muffins bone dry.should not matter hat it's only 30 minutes before closing time. If the place needs a clean and the goods are off the place should keep up standards expected or just close

Lovely place the coffee was amazing staff where outstanding one young man in particular caught my eye I managed to get his name Andy really kind and seems to love his job.

On our recent visit on Friday 27 September 2019, the rain came started and forgot to stop! I purchased takeaway hot drinks x 3 for myself, hubby & son. We also had our large German Shepherd with us. We were dressed for the awful weather and decided to sit down on the wooden benches outside, when a member of staff popped out to advise they are 'dog friendly' and we were all welcome inside. At the time of our visit Starbucks was jumping, it was incredibly busy with only two staff working, however these staff dealt with the customers in a courteous and timely manner and took that time to come outside to let us know we were welcome inside. The effort made from that staff member made us smile, it was very welcome information. Thank you.

Me and my Boyfriend walked into Starbuck St Andrews after I had finished work from a fast food job, we found the customer service awesome and excellent, I got a Large Hazelnut Latte while my boyfriend got a Frappéchino as it was a very hot day so he wanted something cold to drink, we also had the breakfast rolls that had sausages, egg and bacon as they were delish, also we bought some muffins to take home, the tables are very clean and tidy, the staff is very friendly to talk to and helpful, the shop looked very tidy and clean, the toilets were clean and tidy as we couldn't fault it, we took the tray to staff to help out, we can't wait to come again to Starbucks At Andrews for a day out so we can get Frappéchino's

I visit Starbucks regularly but have never been to St. Andrews Starbucks before. I’m here visiting family and as I had a drink to claim thought we’d go in for a drink and toastie..... well I wish we hadn’t, couldn’t get out there quick enough. My matcha green tea was disgusting, didn’t taste anything like it should. The normal tea was just as bad. The toastie was ridiculously hard/crunchy around the edges and soggy in the middle and they had no knives to cut them!! The tables and floors were dirty, where the milk and sugar is kept was also pretty minging. And as for the toilets...... dirty, wet floor, smelt disgusting, no hand soap or towels and the hand dryer almost on the floor. Think that place needs a makeover or to be shut down.
