Been here a few months ago and was great , came back today and didn’t even eat my meal as the burger bun was soggy and burger was burnt and really salty , didn’t get lettuce on it either , probably just go five guys next time

Really nice place. It’s a bit more expensive than other places but it’s well worth the extra. The food is flavoursome. The staff are really nice quick turn around time on order to food on the table. Would definitely recommend.

Once again the fries that are part of the meal deal have been forgotten. Burgers are tasty but kids are disappointed with the lack of fries.

Some of the most mediocre food I've ever had. Everything was stone cold. Burger had no taste at all just tasted of cheese and bread. The chicken strips are a disgrace, so dry and no flavour at all. Definitely won't be back.

Ordered the single Classic Burger but pink inside. Not a foodie and the first time being in the place so not sure if that's normal

Food arrived cold we mentioned this to the server who replaced the food but due to this complaint I think the chef took exception to this and put a ridiculous amount of jalapeños on my wife's burger. Smash burger has went down hill quickly we use to love coming here but they have taken and changed the menu to much removing some great sides. Place was empty

We were both in there today and were genuinely impressed by the food and the quality of service. Very clean and tidy establishment. Staff were really attentive and helpful too. We will be happy to go back next week.

Terrible takeaway. Food took so long to arrive and I think they used cows milk in the vegan milkshake. All of the food was so disappointing.

Awful experience. Avoid! Veggie burger was disgusting, had one bite and left the rest. Ordered 2 kids meals and waited 14 minutes after receiving the rest of the order to get one of them. No offer of refund just a lame "sorry for the wait". They blamed staff shortages but we watched them rattle through endless takeaway and courier orders while we waited. No wonder barely any customers in.

Absolutely ridiculous wait time. The estimated delivery was 20 minutes, but they kept pushing it back until it finally arrived 2 hours and 20 minutes later. If you’re thinking of ordering delivery from here, don’t bother—they clearly don’t prioritize it at all. You’re better off dining in if you actually want your food in a reasonable time.

A little bit pricier than other places but food quality is great. Service is fast and efficient. Loved the beef and bacon burger!

The times my husband and I have been to smash smashuirger in dunfermline, we have never been unhappy with our food. Can't wait to return for another mouth watering meal

Beef burger overcooked compared to previous visits. 50p dip missing for with fries. Otherwise, food was good quality, fresh and delivered hot though.

Smashburger is well worth a visit, the burgers are lovely albeit expensive.

incredibly late. every single item was from. veg over burger BBQ sauce covering an item that doesn't come with any. then no BBQ sauce on the item with and didn't remove the bacon. absolute bots

Best burgers by a mile, fresh and tasty. Service is ALWAYS fantastic and the setting/atmosphere is nice and chilled. Manager Thomas is great, very accommodating and attentive, makes a massive difference to the experience 👌

Took our kids here for dinner after the cinema. The cheese and bacon burger had a single tiny bit of bacon, absolute disgrace. Kids meals came with more chips than my adults meal? Overall, so so.

Dips were missing from the order, ordered a large rosemary chips and got 1 small rosemary and 1 plain chips. something had leaked in the bag soaking the burgers (either grease from the fries or from the churros) and the order was cold. Far from good.

First experience of smashburger. I had the oklahoma onion smashburger with sweet potato fries, washed down with a strawberry milkshake. The service was spot on, and it was probably one of the tastiest burgers I have ever had. When eating out at any restaurant or local pub, burgers are never my 1st choice on the menu, however I was really impressed with this place. Although its a bit more expensive than your local fast food chain, to me you are getting your money's worth.

First time trying smash burger. Friendly staff greeted on the door and directed to the order kiosk, also checked how my meal was after a short time eating. Food was tasty and I'd definitely visit again. For a burger with an extra patty sweet potato fries and a drink was 21 quid, I couldn't find a fault with the food so I wasn't bothered by the price however it probably would be an expensive outing for a family when you could just go to McDonald's for a fraction of the cost. But for all the bachelors out there I fully recommend it 👌🏻

Quick service and brilliant food!

burger and toppings were burnt to black. Well overcooked and meat was very dry yet still greasy to the point it was dripping out the wrapping. not usual smash burger standard and certainly not worth 16 quid. won't be back again. 5 guys is cheaper and better quality and only a few doors down.

delivery was good .but they realy could of took the skin of the red oinoin before cutting it and serving it .kindy spoilt the food .

My favorite burger spot in town. Only place I find the quality is consistent, but for the price, I'd hope it is. I really wish they would make a coney island style chili sauce to go on the burgers though. Would be absolutely divine. Chili cheese fries? Yes please.

Absolutely disgusted with the service this evening. 1 meal completely missed out and when I called to inform them that I required it sending the duty manager refused due to having no drivers. I then suggested they paid for a taxi to deliver and they hung up. I called back to which all my attempts to negotiate getting my food delivered were ignored and I was hung up on again. Whoever was the duty manager this evening needs thier eyes opened in to customer services.

No salad on burger as advertised. Didn’t receive full order as missing chips and onion rings. Did receive an extra burger, obviously someone else’s order, with a Gluten free bun. I’ll not be back now five guys opened. Only used up token credit for this order.

The burger contained far too much salt. If it were a little less the burger would be perfect. Fries were ok.

After alittle disappointing take away order, my second visit sitting in was a whole different experience. The spicey burger was delicious and a whole lot fresher. Never disappointed with the onion rings, best I’ve had at a burger joint (and I’ve been to a lot of burger places lol) . Always go for the tater tots also. Service from the staff was top notch as we had a few kids in our party. Place was just the right side of busy. Overall pleasant and tasty experiences

Burgers poorly packaged. Brought a new meaning to "smash" burgers. Wrong dip delivered.

Food was absolutely amazing, best burger and tater tots I've ever had. Manager is amazing he came to out table and spoke with us, what a really nice guy. Bit on the pricey side but we ok with that as he said burgers are fresh made by hand no frozen mince.

Big improvements at this place. Quality is very much improved and is consistently great.

It's the best burger I have had since being in this country.

I did not recieve my Onion Rings

The food is very tasty if a bit on the expensive side. I’ve gotten take out several times but the last three have been disappointing. Today I paid for extra chicken and extra blue cheese in my salad. I found four small cubes of blue cheese which wasn’t even a potion. The chicken was the usual portion too. I got a side of chicken tenders and had no dip so I had to eat them dry. Also given no fork and a warm juice. On the plus side they did add extra red onion all through the salad so I could taste nothing else. Reluctant to pay £28 for a meal that doesn’t meet my order!

We came here after long trip and the food was fantastic. Everything was cooked the way we had asked. The manager was exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful. He ensured to make the kids meal according to specification and was generous and kind during the entire visit. I would recommend you to try smash burger ASAP!!

The fries were mushed into the box and weren’t the fries I ordered and cold which I don’t normally mind as I know it has to be delivered to me but I top of the state of them they were inedible

Came here for a lovely meal, turned into complete shambles when i bought a burger that was raw and pink inside, not only that but the cook, he launched a tomato at my face and then mumbled ancient Greek dialect at me and i didn't know was happening. The cook who i believe is called Dominic was at fault for not only a disgraceful meal but hurling food at me never in my 56 years have i seen this tomfoolery from a work place. Fire this buffoon, Absolutely appauling

Nice place to eat, plenty parking spaces and burger is good, I had the double bacon burger which I would give 7/10, but for place that's specialised on burgers I was expecting a bit more. The meat was a bit dry, too much mustard and bacon in burger was unchewable and had to take it out. Apart from that definitely recommend if you in the area and looking for good burger, that's not from frozen meat, definitely still one of the better burgers I had in scotland.

Visiting from the States I was not expecting one of the best burger and fries I’ve tasted along with bottomless drinks. Customer service was above and beyond, checking up with us throughout the meal. Atmosphere casual and friendly, just perfect. Could not fault this place, prices comparable to what I’d pay back home.

Second time wrong order has been sent

It used to be good, but now they are not able to deliver the food you order right. I ordered the Cobb salad and a burger with UberEats and the fried egg was missing from the salad, I submitted a complaint and got no response. This evening my partner ordered the same with Just Eat, asked for no bacon in the salad, as I cannot eat it, and an extra crispy chicken patty. The salad was full of bacon and no crispy chicken was delivered. Is it that difficult to make a salad right??

Tasty food however was so cold when delivered had to reheat in microwave - not ideal with salad on the burgers!

We drove from Linlithgow to visit Smash Burger tonight. We have had a terrible experience from the minute we arrived. Only 1 out of 3 order kiosks were available. The girl said to scan the QR code on our phones to order off the menu, but this didn't work. She then offered us a menu, saying "it's the only one" We noticed the 1 order kiosk was free so resorted to ordering on that. The server told us that there was no chicken tenders left. The milkshake machine out of order. The drinks machine said 'do not use' The total bill was over £40 for 2 adults which is expensive for burgers, and a self-service type system. If all these issues would be resolved we may revisit but would not recommend at the moment.

We drove about 1hr to get to smash burger tonight, to be turned away at the self order screens because they were too busy. Which is fair enough but no signs on the main doors on arrival, no cover on order screens. The girl was polite but just an overly disappointing experience to drive so far and arrive hungry to be turned away.

Just a disaster from the get go. Walked in and a lot of the tables were dirty. Should’ve been our first clue to be fair but we wanted to try the place. Got my friends order wrong 3 times. When she finally received her food on the 4th attempt, it was still wrong!! The young lady who served us was lovely. We asked for a refund and she said she would get the manager. When the manager appeared we had to explain the issues for a second time as the information hadn’t been passed over to her. She refused to refund us, claiming she couldn’t do this, offering instead a free meal on our next visit. We won’t be back. Shocking service. Avoid.

Drink from the kids meal was missing, but the food was great. Really tasty. Bit on the pricey side, but kids are happy and sated and already daydreaming about what they would choose from the menu next time.

A great pre-cinema dinner. Topped tater-tots were tasty and the staff were friendly. Lots of cleaning going on, which is nice to see. The restaurant was clean and there’s lots of space to sit.

The food was nice but over priced for a fast food chain. Experienced won't be would rather burger king. Staff sitting around doing nothing took two to bring out food which wasn't a big order. Drinks were bottles of warm coke even though it stated on order it was the machine but the staff helped themselves to the machine coke. Pretty bad experience although food was good but not hot just warm.

Smash burgers were nice/ fresh ingredients, really nice sauce, but the beef patties.. far too much salt! i can genuinely still feel salt an hour later, Loaded fries- supposed to be blue cheese.. hardly any there, and overloaded with Frank's hot sauce , taking away any enjoyment, fries swimming in sauce

Took almost 3 hours and was stone cold when it got to me but the driver didn’t even take ten minutes to deliver it which means it was made and left lying for ages instead of at least timing the food with the delivery so I wasn’t getting cold food if that had been the case I wouldn’t have even complained

the food is going down hill here. the fries I received were chewy, I'm thinking they were probably cooked then put back in to heat up! horrendous and could not be eaten. A burger had tomato when I requested none and it was luke warm. not sure what is going on with the sauces I ordered with the fries, tasted off so couldn't eat them either. I always order from here, but I won't be going forward. always a hit or miss now!
