Starbucks in Bromsgrove

Normalmente íbamos a Costa, pero no era uno aquí, así que probamos Starbucks. ¡Tenía una tostada de 5 quesos que contenía el mínimo raspado de queso! Mi compañero tomó una taza de té simple... era de color gris sin importar cuántas veces apretara la bolsita de té... sabía horrible... mi Americano estaba bien pero no elegiríamos usar Starbucks de nuevo... xx

Miserable, ignorant staff. I wouldn't have minded so much if I received an actual cappuccino instead of half a cup of foam! Bit late when you're on the motorway by that point.

Order a latte and a tea at Hopwood Services Starbucks. The latte came out, but no tea. I asked the young on the counter where it was, and his unhelpful reply was “it’s coming.” I wait and see other customers get their orders, but still no tea. Another team member, a lovely girl called Laura if I’d received my tea yet, as she saw me still waiting. And proceeded to make it. How difficult was that. One member of staff shouldn’t be there. And Laura should get a promotion, as she certainly understands great customer service. Well done and thank you Laura.

I must say girl who serves my coffee at 3pm yesterday never said thank you and was glued to her mobile while pouring coffee. Dangerous and should not be allowed while working. The Asian girl who took my order was very polite.

The staff were friendly and easy to talk to, didn't have to wait too long for our order to be made but we had to search to find a clean table.

Stopped here for coffee en route to Dudley. Found one clean table. All the rest covered with used cups etc. Unsure if our table had been sanitised but guessing not! Sat there about 40 mins watching the world go by and not one staff member came to clear any tables whatsoever, let alone sanitise them! This is quite frankly a filthy place to be and especially in the current climate of Covid. I would never ever return and urge others not to bother as it is not clean or safe

It’s 1am and my 18 year old daughter has just purchased 2 lattes from this establishment at the motorway services at junction 2 on M42. The guy didn’t acknowledge my daughter, just carried on talking to someone who clearly wasn’t buying anything. When he came to serve her he didn’t speak just nodded at her. He didn’t offer her a cup holder or protective sleeves for the cups and she got back to the car and her hands were burnt from the heat. The order was wrong too. Extremely rude and unhelpful. Won’t use this services again!!!

Cappuccino consisted of a cup of frothy milk with a hint of coffee, absolute rubbish & overpriced. Was very quiet though & i can see why!

Stopped for a quick coffee to be met with painfully slow service, when it did arrive half of it was spilt on the counter with no apology- we had to ask for another to be made, however the most disgusting thing was a member of staff rolling a cigarette behind the counter. This is not good enough Starbucks-when you have a captive market forced to pay silly money for coffee at least give the customer due respect.

Huge queue and then no hot water so no filter coffee/teas etc. The manager won’t let them put a sign up. Def less offended at a sign than a huge disappointing wait!

Visited here on a sunny Saturday. The services were busy in general. We went upstairs to the Starbucks. There were 2 members of staff and so the queues were long & slow. The choice of cakes was limited and expensive £2.85 for a muffin so I had a packet of crisps & a banana that was black part way through. The staff, even though busy, were polite and friendly. Several tables were littered with cups and empty plates. The table we chose was very wobbly. Don't think I will call again.

Went into the drive thru at a busy time. You could tell all of the staff were rushed off their feet, but despite this I was still served with a smile and by a polite individual. Some customers were being very rude to the staff which made me feel very sorry for them as you could tell they was working very hard, so for this they should be applauded. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again!

Just approached by Manager after been in there for 15 mins and asked to leave as dogs not allowed. Been coming in with our dog for 12 months and first time we have been approached. When I asked her why if this is their policy we have not been told this before (she said policy been in place 4 years)! She said the staff were at fault. When I brought up the fact that the toilets were filthy with water and toilet roll strewn across the floor) and that we’d had to clear our own table and wipe the crumbs off the seats to sit down I was asked not to be aggressive. Funny that I thought she was the aggressive one looming over us stating that dogs are not allowed and she is the Manager! Bit of Customer Training needed there methinks. If she had asked up politely things would have gone a lot smoother. Linda, Monmouth

Very slow making the drinks, just wanted to wind the staff up they were sauntering around like anything. Quite a lot of tables remained dirty for the duration of my visit. Coffee was very nice. Anyway here is a picture of my Labrador Gilbert.

Hopwood services have two types of bucks a small drive through and a larger unit in the main centre. I had a flat white and chees/ham croissant which are always delicious. Limited seating as it was fairly busy.

Stopped at this services to give the car some juice and had a cappuccino and my daughter a hot chocolate which was very nice. The time from ordering to collectijgnthe drink was under 3 minutes. Impressive work!

Stopped for a quick coffee break during a long drive for work. Service was good and the coffee is always great.

This Starbucks is located at the motorway service station. It's off an island so you can also access is not via a motorway. Stopped here for a caramel frappe, and the service was pleasant and the frappe was nicely made and tasted great.

I don’t normally use the main chains but thought I’d give them a go. Ordered a hot chocolate with extra cream, did want marshmallows but they were not available. Service friendly but not focused on their jobs. Drink delivered not mixed so weak then bitter. My son told me I should have stirred it.... but it had cream on top and did think that was their job to mix it properly.

I called here to have a light lunch. No one else in line for food.

I love Starbucks and will try to get one of their coffees where ever I can but the star bucks at hopwood doesn’t hit the same high standard levels expected. The service is always very slow and on this occasion the coffee was as cold as winter and as bitter as Scrooge. You can’t even return it once left the drive through and half way up the M42. I’ll be using other drive through coffee retailers in the future.

We stopped here on a coach trip. Had some drinks and they were very expensive, Next time we’ll find somewhere else to drink.

Typical Starbucks motorway outlet; fast paced, friendly service and meets a need.

Good Starbucks fare here...staff friendly...coffee is o.k..& hardly have to wait to be served...as the 2 Starbucks inside the services are always full

Used the juice bar version of Strbcks on the upper level. Nice drink but not much of it & very expensive. Clean toilets/restrooms near by...also a Waitrose.

Early coffee stop on route to Wales, Starbucks was the only choice so early in the morning. Two coffees and a bite for breakfast served by a great guy,very polite and chatty, made us feel welcome. Find Starbucks very good everywhere as I do like their coffee buy the guy here made our morning.

Stopped over en route home from Christmas spent in our caravan in Baldock.

Have used this service area for many years as I live nearby and frequently have family passing by so its a handy place to meet them on a journey break. Also have a business in Redditch with offices also in South Birmingham so again its been a good meeting place for business meetings. Over the years I must have spent a considerable amount of money here on food and drink in the shops and eating places - probably well into four figures.

Awful coffee, halfway down the cup and filled with cream to disguise.

Stopped off for a quick coffee only to find there are two Starbucks in the main building, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor.
