What a lovely pub, friendly clean and so so welcoming. Also dog friendly. Perfect for a Sunday afternoon refresh. Or quick stop during the week. Landlord so friendly and welcoming. Will undoubtedly be returning!!!

Don't do hot drink like coffee I ask for

Lovely little pub, county style with a warm homey feel. Very reasonable drink prices and staff are very friendly. They also have a sweet dog, also it’s very clean! Will pop popping in again!

Very friendly and helpful staff, love the dog star, has a pool table and fruit machines, plus games for the kids, has a big field and playground opposite :)

Has become my regular they get rhubarb gin in specially for me. Pizza van there Friday evenings. Friendly people.

Ray Jones the entertainer for the evening was as always...........entertaining,always good value.The pub,looks to be well run,clean and tidy.l suggest a summer's day sat outside watching the world,or what passes for it,drift by whilst you enjoy your drink.l realise l am not going to be flavour of the month but l found it a bit souless.Always room for improvement,l myself need to be a bit more charitable, methinks,maybe not to my taste nowadays.

Great little pub very friendly and off the beaten track, good selection of beers and a very good juke box...worth a look.

Limited availability of food, just some homemade rolls, but they were excellent. The best, the friendly environment. The cozy room and the dog walking around without disturbing at all. I’ll return.

Food is very poor in quality and portion size, very disappointing

Don't bother, the food was cold, the service non existence, lamb shank consisted of a bone with a tiny bit of meat, watery gravy, the whole meal for 5 was £75 but was only worth £10. Drinks extra. We were in a tent with locals smoking.

Love the authentic Caribbean food being served as well as the amazing staff and ambience of the place. Amazing for family's , couples even if you are eating by yourself your not left feeling uncomfortable. Take always and deliveries available always makes things better. Thank you guys xx

Had a lovely home cooked roast dinner at the Star today my husband had the chicken which was lovely and I had the roast beef which was beautiful and tender, plenty of vegetables and all very tasty would definitely recommend and will definitely be back 👍😀

Everytime i go there there is a man staring at me? He usually calls himself Mr Franky and his grin shines on a cold summers day. He glances, beads of sweat tricking down his face, he the ghouling soul of no regret apears; but hence the man disapeared come moonlight. But other than that is a great laugh Mr Franky just needs to grow up!

The Star at Pucklechurch....it has been resurrected. Great atmosphere, fantastic steak. New management, old style service...great to have a village pub back.

The last 2 times i have been here dugs were openly being smoked on the tables outside . Foul language by the bucket load . Staff seemed pleasant enough , but not enforcing rules or the law is not good .
