Best chicken shish kebab in town :)

This is one of the nicest kebabs we’ve ever eaten and the portion was very large. Highly recommend the chicken doner. The garlic mayo has a sweet taste.

So we found a big black hair in our food absolutely disgusting never buy from here again vile

if i could leave lower then 1 star i would. shouted and laughed at my disabled mum on the phone before hanging up on her because she wanted a refund due to the “chicken” being very clearly off with it tasting and smelling like fish. We only had 1 bite and requested a refund which they tried refusing us.We went to the shop to get our money back because we weren’t happy and we had barely eaten any of it. The staff were argumentative, aggressive, shouting at us and giving dirty looks. In the end they banned us from returning which we wouldn’t do anyway because we would’ve gotten food poisoning if we finished their so called chicken. Do not recommend at all.

Mid shift break was made by the crazy amounts of good food. Fast service deserves more stars.

This evening we had a very good takeaway from this gaff. I spent over £50 getting a takeaway and the stingy takeaway didn't give anything free not even a drink. The food was delicious lamb shish was brilliant but it had a strange sort of tomato ketchup on it very bad,but overall the food was plentiful and delicious and enjoyable. But that still bugs me about spending so much there and not even giving a free drink. I really don't know about ordering from there again because of there sting policys. My mark is 8/10 2 marks of for the nothing free and there very bad tasting ketchup.

Great kebabs just when you need them.

Ten quid for a kids meal (which was 4 tiny chicken nuggets) and a portion of chips (the most vile chips ever) never again

I order a 10inch pizza and chips with a drink for delivery which cost £22 pounds! am Absolutely disgusted with the pizza. Tasted horrible not fresh at all and to top it off it was a thin base which I didn't ask for. I will not be ordering from them again. And NOT would recommend this place at all to anyone.

Fantastic kebabs (can't comment on pizza), great portions, speedy deliveries and all at great prices! Team are all friendly every time I've been 👌

Regular customers here whom have ordered fromhere many t8mes over ths years,never incurred a problem before.However our order tonight had a problem ,which was rectified upon my call to the takeout ,in a very polite and helpful manner which resolved the situation in very prompt way....many thanks for your help and our food order will be ordering again soon 😀

It is my "go to" place for kebabs of various types and pizza. I don't do fast food often. The staff are friendly, welcoming and the food is prompt, especially when you collect.

Ordered meal deals and didn't get the meal just got the burger. Won't be coming here again.

The best pizzas! And always loved their food! Delivery times can be quite long which just shows how good they are.

Food is always hot and cooked to order. Lamb shish is spot on.

We order from Star Grill regularly. Always great food and arrives earlier than expected. Not a bad word to say.

My partner ordered from here yesterday evening, he tried to put in an order over the phone, but unfortunately the signal was bad, the guy on the other end, became very rude and aggressive, shouting down the telephone to my partner before he hung up. Terrible experience. We have used star grill a long time, supported them through lock down, when things were only doorstep delivery and no contact. Very disappointed with the way we have been treated, we won't go back.

Phoned through the order as hubby fancied a kebab to have during the rugby game… Expected time for delivery was on point… Food was amazing, piping hot, and kebab was all sectioned off, meat, salad etc, also the pitta was kept separate to stop the sogginess… All in all bl**dy lovely… Will definitely 100% order from Star Grill again…. 👍

Order by app for delivery they get order wrong, order by phone for collection they get it wrong, go in the shop & order they still get orders wrong. When my Mrs mentioned the orders keep being wrong they talked to her very badly then when I spoke to them they started saying my friend this my friend that & tried to change their tune. I would not even try to talk to these people let along order from them.

Waited over an hour. Called the shop and was told driver has lots of deliveries! Why send a driver out with lots of deliveries!?. People will get cold food like I did ! Chips soggy and cold. Disgusting!!!!!Will never use again.

Shocking service. Wrong food delivered, phoned to say that we received the things. Refused to collect and refund just offered to replace the wrong burger - not sure how someone is supposed to eat part of their meal and wait for the main item. I ordered tuna jacket potato - I think the potato just had been shown the tuna tin. Totally inedible. Complete waste of money. Will never be using this takeaway again - after years of good service this is a complete let down. Not sure how the condescending man at the other end of the phone thought it was acceptable to repeatedly call me darling, even after I asked him to not do so.

Great food and perfect customer service

Ordered mixed doner meat with salad, chips and mayonnaise. Asked as usual for chips, salad and mayonnaise to be put separately. When the wet, separated mess you see in the photos was delivered I called to complain. The response was so rude I was quite shocked. I wasn’t prepared to get into a shouting match so I had to put the phone down. At a time when this sector needs our support I will be giving it to other places and would encourage you to do the same. This could have been resolved so easily!

Used these guys for years. The owner has always been helpful and food was always on point. Last week, food arrived and was uncooked. Order a donner meat and chips and a burger with chips. Every single chip wasn't just uncooked but completely raw. I hate complaining about food and as these guys are the only resturant we use, we didn't say anything until the next time we ordered as we were only able to eat the burger and a few slices of donner meat whilst still being charged over £20. I mentioned it the next time we ordered and the guy over the phone point blank refused that they were at fault with their cooking, started getting very aggressive over the phone and accused us of leaving it outside on the doorstep too long. Because everybody knows when you leave cooked food to go cold, it uncooks itself and goes back to raw within 20 seconds. Too many issues lately and customer service has gone downhill since the owner has stepped back. Will find somewhere else to order.

Iv order with you long time ago and it was perfect , then you went on wrong way. You started do smaller and worse kebab. , thats way i didnt come to you. I came to you to check how you doing now.But you back ! Portion large, very good taste. Recommend!

My lovely girlfriend was bit poorly so i treated her to a take out , she asked for scampi which i ordered. But one of the pieces was awful and not cooked right and made her sick. I complained via justeat.

Service wasn't great, 2 members of staff were shouting in another language so was Interrupted mid order. Burger was quite tasty, chips were cold and limp.

As shown in the picture my kebab was not appetising at all the garlic sauce looked like sick. We phoned the shop and complained in which they showed no interest and said if we wanted our food hot then we should have collected it. Nothing offered to us. This kebab shop has a bad attitude towards its customers, we won’t be using them ever again.

Only order from here if you want mediocre and mostly cold food. If that doesn't have you sold, then perhaps being insulted by the manager when they forget to deliver something that was purchased on top of your full order 'just to make up the minimum delivery order' which was actually more than what was stated on just-eat. Finally, if that hasn't taken the money from your bank yet, then maybe keep in mind that after you have waited over 2 hours for that missing item (bare in mind that you've already called up twice and both of these times you are informed that it will be at your door in about an hour - for a 15 minute journey -) that you will need to drive to the 'restaurant' to get a refund. So enjoy!

Ordered a large mixed kebab and can say one of the best I have had in a long time, value for money for what you get, 2 boxes 1 meat with some veg, one of salad. Separate sauce pots to put on yourself. Loved it and will return for more

Order from here for the first time and never would I order from here again. Food turned up just slapped in a box and my partner had a hair (not a hair off your head either) wanted to send us another lot to say sorry. Why would I want another one that’s put me off for life. Even the owner hung up on me when I try to request a refund. Would I order from here again it’s a big fat NO!!!!!!! Wouldn’t even give it a star but I have to to post it

It's unfortunate but the food was half hour late and cold....the burgers had no salad and no cheese......even the veggie burger was dry....but the staff were lovley the sides were lovley ...the choc cake was 5.50 and it was half a small frozen £2 iceland job

The Food Is Very Good Affordable

Awful pizzas, tasted like cheese on toast. No tomato sauce on base, and base was made out of bread , not a pizza dough base. Called to complain and was told 'yeah it's a regular complaint'. Won't be ordering from there again. Probably the worst pizza I've ever had.

very disappointing, been customer for long time, but this was freezing mainly onions and no salad, meat was hard and so was the pitta bread, not just one but all 3 donar kebabs expensive meal for 3 dogs and 4 cats sorry wont be coming back.

Just ordered, delivered in good time. Then... disappointment ensued. Previous chicken doner kebabs were slices of kebab meat and lumps of chicken. This one... very small bits all mixed together, not good. Even the labs sniffed and turned away and that’s saying something. New chef? New management? or new idea? Think I will be going somewhere else next time.

25 minutes late then to find out the food is that cold it’s gone rubbery all they cold say was give me a free pizza. Won’t use again.

Phoned the shop 15 mins after the time they said it would be here there excuse was couldn't find your house when they deliver to you all the time...

food was disgusting. lamb and chips both tasted undercooked. I ordered cheesy chips and the cheese was just a massive mound on the top. I ordered a bottle of Coca Cola to go with it and got Pepsi. used to love this place but never again will I order from there.

Food was good but was nearly cold when it arrived but was nice after heating it up .

Food would of been good if didn’t have to make our own chicken kebabs , espected to open box ready to eat , got pieces of chicken ,salad which my husbands was brown & pitta bread which was on top of box which was not cut and just fell apart .. so ended up with chicken in a box and soggy pitta bread on side not impressed .

I will use these again but I will go direct and not use just eat and save myself(£3 per time) £2.50 delivery as the take away don't charge and also 50p service charge??? As didn't think this was legal any more!!!? Either way I not using just eat again thanks but no thank....GO DIRECT SAVE YOURSELF SOME CASH!!!

I paid for a large kebab and got what only I can say must have been the smallest one I have ever seen(smaller than kids) it was nice but not worth the money sadly!

Kebab with salad was the box was soaked through (the put pitta in another box so was dry which was good. Said free delivery at the start of order but ending up paying 2 for delivery anyway? Should of had free bottle of drink on order over £25 but didnt receive.

Firstly no Fanta was delivered. The Kebab meat was cold, the curry sauce was vile and the cheesy chips were burnt and awful. We politely phoned the restaurant who said that we were lying as they hadn’t received any complaints today!! They eventually agreed to bring the Fanta and refund some of the order. Nearly 2hrs later we are still waiting for them to come out. The meal is on the side as no one could eat it not even the dog was interested!! Absolutely appalling food and customer service as they are rude on the phone and have not turned up. Never again

The food was atrocious I ordered a chicken and Donna kebab but only got chicken and my burger was as burnt like coal I would definitely not recommend you to any one

Not only was my food over an hour late it was barely warm. Every phonecall was another 15 minutes, another 15 minutes. My family don't want to eat their dinner at 10pm at night. But we were hungry so no choice but to wait.

Good, but, spicy Pizza not so spicy and BBQ sauce not really very BBQy? However, all other ingrediants were good, hot and early.

Absolutely awful service, food I ordered didn't come. When the driver came back to deliver the missing food it was a very small portion of what I ordered and also cold. Phoned them up for a refund or for my food to be re-delivered at the very least and they turned up with an even smaller portion. Not ordering from here again.

Ordered a mix kebab which came with mushrooms and I am allergic did not state on the ingredients that it came with mushrooms only a fresh salad so couldn't eat my meal. Also was one meal short when I called up to explain I was greeted with a very rude man saying i only ordered 2 but on my receipt it stated 3 meals ordered. Won't be using this take away again .
