I have ordered from this place a long time and they have never got the right change I end up having an argument with the delivery driver saying it's my fault when is supposed to be on them to make sure they bring enough change I will never order from here again very disappointed in the takeaway services the pizza is not all great it's just cheap and cheerful but it was not the food that put me off ordering from them again it was the disgusting behaviour the delivery driver had so guys make sure you got the right change because they don't carry enough

Pizza was very good, as good as any major brand. Unfortunately the dessert was forgotten.

I ordered a calzone with steak amongst other things but when it arrived it resembled half a garlic bread pizza base with a nonexistent stuffing flat as a pancake as for the steak it looked more like mince not steak!!! I also got chicken wings they truly tasted awful and soggy about the only thing I enjoyed from here was the Ben & Jerrys ice safe to say I won’t be ordering from here again…value for money it is not !!!

Took over half an hour but worth the wait! I ordered a pepperoni calzone with what I *thought* was the mini garlic calzone.. it was hUGE, doughy, filled with cheese. £5 well spent. The main meal seemed to be made from a different dough, more like a 2-layered flatbread with a disappointing lack of cheese. Delicious tomato sauce though, tasted fresher than the big brand I had delivered earlier this year!

Burgers were dry and stodgy. Chips tasted like they’d been reheated. Very disappointing.

Dip seem microwaved along with the food or it was put inside hot food. The plastic packaging of the dip was melted

Better than your average pizza take away

Quality of food is poor, chicken nuggets were mushy chicken texture very processed and cheep. Chicken burger was ok was a nicer piece of chicken.

Stayed in a hotel, fast delivery, followed instructions to call when arrived so we could collect. Food hot and delicious would highly recommend A++

I ordered two pizzas at 5pm for 8pm delivery! When they arrived they looked as if they’d been made at 5pm and kept warm until 8pm. I opted for the ‘thin crust’ but what we got was cardboard! I’ll stick with Domino’s in future!

Really dry pizza , I reckon if I threw that pizza at my window it would crack it . Horible

Think the pizza we ordered may of been fresh maybe a week ago! Non of the food was nice, total waste of money

I came in the store and it stunk of body odor, i told him my order and he took 5 minutes to reply, i ordered a barebeque burger then i came 10 minutes later, it was 2 pieces of meat stuck together with no salad or nothing, then i asked him for salad and he picked the salad up without washing his hands, no gloves then i told him his shop stunk of body odor as it did and that the hygiene is 1/10 dirty man should be ashamed of his business, he should be working in a t shirt factory and get out of the food business asap!

I guess they decided to go really far the other way after the reviews of uncooked food? My pizza was burnt, the pepperoni crumbled to the touch it was so crispy! Very disappointing when they charge a premium price.

This was the best dinner I have had in ages. My mom had surprised me since it was my birthday I had the margarita pizza and chicken burger it was delicious 🥰🥰. The customers service was lovely ☺️ and kind. I will always be ordering Friday night.

Onion rings were really soggy but I called up and the guy was lovely. He replaced them and they were PERFECT! I’ve used this place twice now and every time it’s been good 😋

Delivery time was good. The burger and chips were nice (which is why I gave 2 stars not 1), but the pizza was not fully cooked - ended up throwing most of it away :(

Cold, missing a dip, soggy chips. They should not be soggy for a 5 minute drive. £5.50 for 15 little portion of popcorn chicken, even says large on the menu. Definitely wasn't large

Food was honestly atrocious. There must be a mayo shortage because the chicken burger had barely any on it and the chips tasted stale and reheated. My wife did enjoy her pizza with hot dog crust but neither of us enjoyed the chips and I thought the chicken burger was disgusting. Delivery time was great. For £20, I wish I'd have saved my money.

On just eat they have x2 restaurants, herbies pizza and Bitterne chicken . avoid them , if any complaints they contact via mobile phone and demand a reason for complaint of food or missing items , very rude and disrespectful.

I live local, I've seen tons of old bad reviews so I think I should give a more recent view of how things are. Guys at the counter are nice, pizzas are good and very cheap compared to the bigger places we all know of. Conveniently located, parking is an issue. Got better deals if you can pick up, only tried their pizzas multiple times so can't vouch for other items.

Delivery driver was quick and went extra mile to bring food upstairs without being asked. Herbies always good for delivering great food.

Pizza was nice. The burgers were literally just burgers and burnt cheese inside. No salad or anything extra. Would order for their pizzas but not the burgers.

Ordered 3 burgers and chips and potato skins with bacon . There was 1 small piece of bacon on each skin which is really bad and the skin wasn't crispy as it should be!!! As a chef I am embarrassed for this take away ! The burgers were just thrown together and the chips were hard , all pointing to reheated chips!! I have a sensitive stomach so I know I'll be feeling rough tonight!! If you don't care about what you serve it might be time to get out of the business! Won't be ordering from here again. My daughter has left 3 quarters of her meal because it's made her sick.

Well got 4 out 12 mushrooms and 2 out 5 jalapeños cream cheese so clearly ira ok for drivers to eat on the job not happy for the way I was spoken too

The chicken and lettuce burger was completely soaked with mayonnaise to the point I could only eat halved of if and the chicken nuggets I ordered was not with the food that was delivered ,not happy ,normally there really good but I think I might have to find a different place to order my food from now on.

Food was freezing cold when it arrived, took over an hour from when I ordered it. Usually love food from here but last night let it down for the first time.

I always use herbies bitterne. Never am I having to call to check into the progress of my order. Its always on time mostly its even early.

We have just had the most succulent burger and chicken steak burgers. Both were amazing. Chips a tad too crunchy and standard frozen chips (could be a lot better) onion rings were underdone which is a shame because the burgers were amazing. The dip was missing from the order, but no big deal. I'd still return for the burgers, and they alone deserve the 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Enjoyed the food and it was delivered quickly.

Normally really enjoyable but it was cold and tasted very strange when tried to at least enjoy it even though it was cold. I think they’ve changed their usual sauce or something but definitely wasn’t up to the usual standard!

Over the years, my family have tried several of our local pizzas, but Herbies Pizzas is definitely our family favourite. Always freshly prepared food, punctual delivery, so food always arrives still hot. Have never had to fault them.

Order placed at 19:06 and was delivered at 19:28. Exceptional service! Friendly delivery driver. Food quality as good as it always is. Never had a bad meal from Herbies.

Pizza and Garlic bread could both be best described as luke warm. Disappointed.

Burger bun was soggy with. Onion rings were soggy. No dip. Piece of bacon the size of a thumbnail. Expected chips when paying £6.50+ for a burger!

I never got a text or phone call telling me it was here, I just happened to check my front door and it was there cold like you didn't put any barbecue dip I asked for in my order and there was hardly any mayonnaise on my burger

Food was tasty fast-food stuff. Normally they deliver to me super-quickly, it arrives before the estimated time window and I get a "they're on their way" text message after it's arrived. Today unfortunately it was 15 minutes after the estimated time window and 20 minutes after I got the "they're on their way" text message. This meant that my food was nearly cold and had to be microwaved, so not as good as it could have been.

Pizza was cold and I asked for no mushrooms which they clearly didn’t read as there was mushrooms, chips were so soggy, and the food was late

Not the worst as the burger was nice , the chips were not very good almost undercooked, The mozzarella sticks were decent enough so not to bad overall. It is a pizza place so maybe I will try the pizza another time.
