Domino's Pizza in Southampton

Went in last night 18/10/24 the lady on tills (didn’t catch name but had red hair) was very helpful with helping me figure out one of the deals. Now I can appreciate on a Friday night it’s very busy and work can get stressful but from a customer perspective I shouldn’t be walking into the store and seeing one of the gents screaming and swearing at his team in front of customers and found this very unprofessional. However the food still arrived in good time and taste lovely

Friday 6pm it’s understandably busy but staff are not giving adequate attention to the customers coming through the door. And, whoever is in charge (Ross) is having a bad day with the staff too. A slight disappointment no jalapeños on the Tandoori Hot? And, ingredients are spread very thin…. Not good.

Dominos used to be a great place to order from, now it's just insanely overpriced garbage! And on top of being overpriced they now charge delivery 😂😂 bye fockers! Pizza hut it is from now. Your reply shows nothing but complete contempt for Google reviews as my reasoning is quite clear! Take the time to read the feedback you're given rather than sending a generic reply. This is exactly why I went from a weekly client for years, to a wouldn't touch with a barge pole.

All way on time and always great service and always lovely delivery people and loving pizza make it even more delicious

Ordered small garlic bread standard type , received small pizza in the box marked garlic bread

I have always ordered my pizzas from the bittern store & have always been happy with the service However tonight I ordered 2 medium pizzas & 1side dish & the guy said it was £46plus I was gobsmacked & told them to cancel the order I have never paid over £26 I don't think the guy understood the order I won't be phoning them again in a hurry I will take my order elsewhere

I got half barbeque and half tomato sauce and they fill the pizza with barbeq sauce that much that it was over filling and it was disgusting don't recommend also I told the lady 4 different times what I wanted

I ordered a pizza, half Margarita and half Taxas Barbecue. I got a margerita with barbecue sauce. it would be ok because I don't throw away food and I didn't want to cause a problem. Unfortunately, the pizza was completely covered in barbecue sauce. It was the first time in my 40 years of life that I ate such a pizza. Thank you for the experience. I do not recommend it

Used to run this Domino's store myself. Now under the management of another very good store manager 👌

It's really expensive but kids demand it better if you pick it up yourself nice and hot

Pizza was okay apart from not being the pizza that we ordered. Ordered 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 meat feast got 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 cheese

Domino's is a big name. I have ordered it from here so many times and 2 times they have send with the meat. Whereas I ordered without meat. So disappointed. They did send back the new pizza but still not worth it. 😕

Fast delivery & food delivered hot

Got food poisoning. I wondered how they managed to deliver all of my order to my house within 15 minutes which I thought was good at the time but turns out it was probably due to food poisoning! Woke up this morning being violently ill. I read before ordering that people have had poisoning from this place as they don’t cook the dough properly but I just ignored it but now I wish I didn’t. I haven’t been sick in years so this was a first for me and a great way to spend my weekend.

My first and last time ordering for collection. Entered the restaurant when the app told me it was ready for collection. Waited 10 minutes to be received. Was told to wait another 5 minutes because my order was in the oven. Waited another 10 minutes just to be told that my order was not even done. I do understand that mistakes happen, but don't lie, saying that the order is coming when it's not even made. Asked for a refund. Thanks for ruining a Saturday night family dinner.

Delivered by bicycle, pizza shaken to pieces, big mess in the box, previous orders came by car and were fine, not sure bicycle is a good method of transportation

Last order we had the pizza looked like it had been dropped. Also, the extra-large sauce we purchased had split and gone over the boxes. Previous orders have always arrived in good time and hot.

This is the third and last time that I will receive an under cooked pizza from bitterne store. So frustrating...the cheese hasn't hasn't melted properly and the base is doughy. I hate complaining, but someone needs to see this and perhaps look at the time the pizzas are spending in the oven. Doesn't happen from other stores but from Bitterne store the pizzas are soggy and cold. Very poor.

Paid for extra BBQ sauce however none arrived.

Disappointing Pizza. Ordered Large Pizza with the Italian base which should be a thin crust - when arrived it was thin on the outer edges but thick, stodgy and undercooked in the middle of the pizza ........ nasty. Phoned to complain and Domino's offered to send out a new pizza which they did, but unfortunately I received another pizza with undercooked dough. I hate to waste food but these were not fit for consumption, so had to throw away. I will not be returning.

Made an order whilst with friends. Order was exactly what we wanted, was piping hot as from the steam coming from the drivers bag! Superb experience, Charlie (Manager) was quick to the phone, polite and courteous and the delivery driver Ely?? was equally polite, smiled at the door and said "thankyou for your order". We were made to feel as a valued customer

Very average, pizza was all misshapen.

My partner is Vegan and twice now a vegan pizza has arrived with real ham chunks on it. As in a couple of chunks not the whole wrong pizza. Pretty unforgivable considering why we order Vegan. Go Papajohns they have never made a mistake yet.

Food of the gods staff were beautiful and amazing way under paid

I have put disappointing food, well if I can buy it. I do not use card and only had cash. First place ever to refuse cash. I find this disgusting, we are not a cashless society. OK I understand during covid it is better without the cash but to refuse cash is wrong. Thank you for upsetting the family.

Tried to get a pizza delivered to Hightown ambulance station for our meal break... Never had such a difficult conversation on the phone.... Redirected to Weston branch when Bittern is about a mile away, directed back to Bittern to be told that the ambulance station is not a real address and they need a real address.... This went on for 15 minutes before I had to give up as we only have 30 minutes meal break and so now would not get it delivered in time.... Have done this with Papa John's and not had an issue so thought it would be as easy with Domino.... Very hungry ambulance crew tonight now....

Hi. 5 inch blonde hair in pizza is never nice thing. Was call to dominos and ask for shift manager. Lady (Amy) who pick up the phone tell me she is manager (personally I think was a lie) and she told me she can't help. I can see on reviews than hairs in pizza is a not first time. Write email to complaint departament. No answer at the moment. Evening meal ruined. 2 pizzas and garlic bread worth money landing in the bin! Not happy at all! Shame I can not upload picture.

Hemos pedido pizzas de Domino's en Bitterne varias veces y cada vez que las pizzas llegaron a tiempo, llegaron muy calientes y fueron realmente sabrosas con muchas coberturas. Durante el cierre, nuestro Domino's local continuó ofreciendo un servicio de entrega, con medidas de seguridad implementadas, y la excelencia continúa. Me complace darles una buena reseña ya que nunca nos han defraudado.

Got my order delivered the guy went to the wrong address then the extra big sauce I added with my pizza was not there 😡

It used to be amazing but recently almost every other order has had items missing that we ordered very disappointed as we were regular customers

Delivery drivers need to slow down around the back of the premises. In fact they need to slow down everywhere, getting tired of them speeding down tight residential streets.

First staff member bit abrupt, second one gave better service

Bought a couple of pizzas, they were very tasty and well topped, had also a fantastic customer service from the evening staff. what else I could say except that I am a happy customer

extremely rude staff! Martin the store 'manager' advised it is acceptable customer service for food to take an hour, sit in the car for 30 minutes and arrive cold. My partner sat on the phone with this extremely rude man for 10 minutes being constantly told 'the driver is at your door' which was a lie. Martin originally refused to give his name and he also refused to give his managers name which has now been taken further. If you want cold food, Terrible customer service and extended waiting times GO TO DOMINOES BITTERNE!

MARTIN! Extremely rude manager! Love it when you order food, takes over an hour to come, arrives cold and the manager 'Martin' tells you its acceptable service. Be careful ordering food from here, if there is anything wrong they will not refund you and you will be left disappointing. Absolutely disgusting customer service. Total shame to everyone that works hard at the store. disgraceful.

Very bed pica place....very little toping need to wait 20. coming after 20 min and pica is already cold...

They do exactly what is says over the door. I have always collected. Vast members of staff each doing their bit into producing a hot quality product. The shop front is very small and at busy times this can be an issue. (and cold when the front door blows open with the wind) Its good to see the production line while you wait.

It’s expensive for what you get. This is my local store and I always order online. They’re inconsistent with slicing the pizza up yet very consistent at putting the wrong toppings on. Not sure how they manage to make huge mistakes often when orders are in black and white when ordered through the app. They do offer reimbursements on said inconsistent’s so they’ll gaining a star for that.

Awful! Don’t waste your time! I choose to collect from the Weston branch (who don’t deliver to my area) over delivery from Bitterne. Trained monkeys could cut and prepare a better pizza than this branch. I’m not convinced there is anything fresh, the dough tastes stale and there really is a noticeable difference in freshness between the 2 sites. Complaints have been made and replacement pizzas offered, still no change.

So on two for Tuesday so of course made the most of it..my son's pizza was good..but mine was Vile had a vegetarian no taste at all and sloppy.hardly any topping only ate one slice .never again

Awful pizzas 6 pizzas had to be delivered before they got the toppings right and even then there's hardly any cheese you can tell nobody cares about what there being paid for the management must be struggling with there staff I'm never going to order from bitterne dominoes again every time I've ordered there's been problems I've never had these problems with pappah John's or pizza Hut asked for a refund and got it that's the only positive clearly they handle a lot of complaints

Poor very poor, the pizza all looked like half had fallen into the box and not on pizza base. Poor delivery I think he may have tripped. 53.95 down the drain

Had a great visit to the shop, order takes straight away, had to wait ,10 minutes while It was freshly baked and a free large bottle of Fanta because we had to wait and extra minutei will be going back very soon

Estos muchachos son siempre tan amables y serviciales por teléfono. Siempre pregunto si mi pedido califica como cualquier tipo de trato. A menudo lo hacen siempre vale la pena preguntar. Comida sabrosa y caliente y cualquier swops o extras acomodados. Lo mejor de todo sin lavar.

Place order for collection at 19:45. Got there on time to be told it wasn't ready and won't be long. No apology or estimated time given. My order wasn't ready until 20:05. The staff member did say sorry then but wasn't happy initially. Did catch a Lapras on Pokemon Go whilst I was waiting.

Apart room some mess up in orders....but fast delivery and good taste

Avoid this store's staggering incompetence! When you order online topping substitutions are very clear - except for this store. After the first incorrect delivery we phoned and had to explain FOUR times the single topping that didn't belong. They agreed to send the order again, and nearly 50 minutes later another wrong order turned up (different toppings this time!). Contacted head office and received a full refund.

Would not answer phone had to go to shop, what's that all about

Good service, but have you seen your prices? I might as well have bought a new speaker considering 2 pizzas came to nearly £40. You're not selling special ingredients. It's simple foods that would cost you about £5 to buy, but we pay nearly 7 times that. Ridiculous

Been a loyal customer to domino's for a few good years now, pizza's are always quickly made & delivered and always taste amazing and new get any issues or problems with pizza's or orders. Meateor all the way!

Ordered on the two for Tuesday deal. Our side order didn't arrive and was sent on 5mins or so with another delivery driver. I called to complain and was given a full refund so can't fault service

Extremely slow service! The last two times I have gone to collect (thinking this is the quicker option than delivery) I have had to wait for my order. The first time I checked the pizza tracker on my phone and went to collect the pizza when notified. Once I got there, it was apparent that my order hadn't even been processed! I had to wait an extra 45 MINUTES for my food! Luckily, the manager for that shift kindly made amends by asking if there was anything I wanted extra on the house. My second visit wasn't quite so disastrous but once again I got there and had to wait another fifteen minutes for my order to be ready.

Ordering pizza from here is a bit like 'pizza roulette' a surprise everytime! So everytime I order I always order the same thing....cheese and tomato on double decadence base. Simple enough or so you would think!! Everytime it seems to lack the double Dec, it's basically just two dry pizza bases no sauce. We've complained so much that we have given up now! But my main issue is what I find in my pizza each time! I'm very allergic to mushroom, and twice now I've found mushroom in my pizza, found chilli before and chunks of tomato. The worse one was we found a black chunk of something in the pizza crust. I'm really hoping it wasn't some kind of rodent droppings it was discusting! On complaint was just offered a refund. Environmental health have been contacted regarding this. The staff there must be so simple they can't even get the simplest of orders right. Avoid avoid AVOID!!

Not only is dominos Pizza over prized but they served up three long black hairs in my pizza box. Disgrace.

My go to place when ordering a pizza, only had a poor experience once and the management could not have been more helpful, looking at the issue and ensuring i as the customer was compensated for the issue. Brilliant and friendly staff every visit.

This dominos is so good because they are quick and there is no mistakes and they like every customer and I really like it

Wasn't impressed. Ordered around 9 on a Saturday evening - so expected a little wait. An hour and 15 minutes later I phone the restaurant and I am told rather blasé that there is a 2-3 HOUR wait on all pizzas. I explained how it didn't mention this when we ordered and was told 'Oh no, it doesn't, sorry'. I then questioned would my meal be hot and fresh when it arrived and was assured - yes, it stays on the hot counter and will be nice and hot when you get it. Eventually my pizza arrives (around 11.30pm) and it was COLD! Being 11.30 at night, I wasn't prepared to phone up and complain, I really just wanted to go to bed - Safe to say I was NOT happy and I don't think i'll be ordering from Dominoes again!

Absolutely livid with their service tonight or should i say lack of!! Asked for it to be delivered at 8.15pm it got to 8.50pm and my pizza hadn't even got past the preparation on the track my order!! Phoned them and was told it was sent out for delivery 5 minutes ago yet took 20 minutes to get to us and was cold! Was only in townhill not a long distance from bitterne!! Phoned to complain they said they would replace the whole lot and send it out soon as, been waiting an hour and still nothing!!! Ordered it for 8.15pm it is almost 10pm!! Extremely disgusted!
