Sals Kebab House in Southampton

Had the worst food poisoning in my life, do not order from here if you value your bowel.

This is a nice little fast food restaurant with kebabs and pizza Shawarma. Food is really good pretty reasonable about eight US dollars for a large chicken Shawarma and fries.

The chips were fries and the driver forgot my drinks. I called the restraunt anf they said 1st i needed to contact just eat and then that changed to contact the driver. Felt very unprofessoonal

Sals is our favourite kebab house - we always order from here and it’s always 10/10

Pizza was disgusting too much cheese and also they put the topping underneath cheese as soon I pulled out a slice, out of the box everything fell off !!! and £4 for large chips which is only hand full not worth the money!!!!!

Burnt food sadly- quality has deteriorated recently and it shows.

No chicken meat, I order 3 donners plus one chicken, I'm not receiving

Ordered doner meat and chips from here and collected. Cost was £5. Only realised when I got home that the meat smelt like sweat and ammonia. ( at this point I was drunk and still noticed ). Genuinely wouldn’t touch this place with a barge poll unless, you want to lose weight via food poisoning.

First time trying. Good quality good, decent delivery time and most of all, good was hot and also had completed the specific requirements to the order which I’m happy with. Thanks! Recommended!!

Food is usually amazing we always order through calling, today when ordering I had an incredibly rude person taking the order making me repeat myself 5 times on just 2 pizzas and then again on the address, then tells me that they won't deliver because its to far (2 miles) but said he would anyway with a £5 delivery charge!! We've never had any issues ordering before and what usually was a 5 minute conversation doubled. He then refused to let me speak to anyone higher to sort the problem out such a silly complaint but it was alot more difficult then it needed to be.

I got extremely bad food poisoning from their cheesy chips and was throwing up and had shakes for days . DO NOT EAT HERE

On just eat the options are medium, large X large. But my medium pizza was a small pizza. I rang in and said I could be wrong but I ordered a medium and I’m pretty sure this is a small. All the guy said was the pizza sizes are on the boxes starts at 9”. That isn’t stated on the app when you’re ordering. And I obviously can’t see the boxes. So I basically got a small pizza when I ordered a medium and the guy didn’t really help. As always though the pizza tasted amazing. Just a bit annoying tho

Very nice and fresh Donee Kebabs. Ready in minutes, Reasonable prices, friendly service. Definitely recommend to everyone.

Probably rates as one of the worst kebabs I've had, kebab meat is cheap and tasteless, I'm sure it's not undercooked but feels and tastes like it, limp and just generally ick. Portion was very small too when paid for a large. Overall I wouldn't waste my money again.

I have ordered lager donor but came small not happy

I ordered donor pizza, all the donor was burned and low quality. It’s like they slapped on old meat. Disgusting.

After an hour of waiting, the pizza maker has come to order a cold jab, I called the shopkeeper and said, "What kind of food should I cook while it's hot in the oven?"

The food was delivered 30 minutes late and was stone cold when it did get here. I ordered a burger with donner meat for £6. The burger was burnt and barely any donner eat in it. The donner meat in all the order didn't look fresh. It looked like it was already cooked then reheated. Very disappointed. I won't be ordering from here again

The pizzas were carried sideways and smashed into the box.

We ordered quite late (wee small hours of the morning) but the guy on the phone was friendly and attentive as was the delivery driver. The food was lovely and I would definitely order from here again.

The best place to eat in or out in St.marys and city centre area. I have tried most of menu , pizzas ,kebabs and burgers. All was excellent. Quick delivery, hot food, and if you happen to go past the shop itself you will understand why there is a queue. Thank you Guys!

Missing items, food was cold. When we contacted them the worker was rude and unhelpful.

Dreadful takeout. Stone cold fries soggy. Shorted on onion rings someone can't count to 8. Medium 6.00 pizza was small sized and cold. 40 min and 14.00 later never again!

I ordered my food at 15:30, due to arrive in 25 mins. The food only arrived after 17:00. It was cold and underwhelming. They also gave me a pepperoni pizza instead of a Hawaiian. Tried to call the restaurant I was rudely redirected to Just Eat, he said it was not their fault but their driver.

Asked for a large burger ith donner meat which I paid £7 for which was obviously a normal sized burger and donner NOT a large. Also a large mixed donner meat and chip with NO salad but when it arrived it had salad which ruined it for me and there was hardly any chicken donner in it. What meat there was was cold. I paid £18 for a burger basically as the rest went in the bin. Will not be ordering again. Is it too much to ask for hot food, a fair portion for the extra money paid and no salad like I ordered? I would call just eat for a refund but they're a waste of time and I'm pretty sure the restaurant wouldn't do the right thing and refund me. 🤬

Perfect, all tasted decent and delivered on time

First time using Sal's and the kebabs were fresh and tasty. Salad and sauce came in separate containers, which helps to keep the meat hot and the pitta warm, fluffy and dry. Will definitely be ordering again.

Best takeaway in Southampton no doubt quality food!!!

Chips were recooked and hard, the chicken meat was chopped into diced pieces, not cut off the kebab.

Meat was good but microwaved chips destroyed it.

From what a spokesperson from the restaurant said that a driver wouldn't come because it was raining not happy won't be ordering through the just eat app AGAIN

Food came late, was cold, and garlic mayo has mint in it all over my kebab so can’t eat it, wish they would state it has mint in it unless of course it’s wrong sauce! 🤦🏼‍♀️

I didn’t expect the pizza to be so nice but it was really tasty, good amount of cheese too. Delivery was about 20 mins ahead of the estimate which was great.

Delivery driver so rude telling me he don’t care do not to order again from here because he couldn’t find my address when I put it on the note exactly where it was because they can never find it never met someone so rude with no respect for anyone food was good but the delivery driver is RUDE AF!!

Took long for food to be prepared and Given, change was nearly forgotten about. Food Tastes bland and found strings of hair. Genrally do not recommend. Please stay away

1Hour and 15mins to deliver 2 kebabs and then got all the toppings wrong!! Obviously can’t read instructions- I called the restaurant 10 times and getting no answer!!! never ordering from you again!

Sal’s Kebab and Pizza house …. delicious Kebabs and Pizza’s!!!.. what more could you ask for! love the Lamb Shish Kebab… always loved the pizzas but why haven’t I gone for their BBQ Original before… with the couple of extra toppings I added, that was one of the tastiest pizza’s I’ve ever had!

Paid with 20 for xl pizza yesterday first off all I normally pay by credit just eat for some reason it said pay by collection then as I got there you have to pay well maybe speak to me in English not foreign then you go next door to get change sure your not counterfeiting your money then you short change me with 5 pound well when you open I want my correct change or I will be going over counter oh yeah my name is Jason red coat you no who it is I’m in every month

Waited over 1 hour for an order, which I don't mind if food came hot. But after waiting 1 hour for your food to receive cold food thats unacceptable.

The wraps were cold, he rang the intercom and woke people up when I left a note on the order asking to call me when outside. I order from here regularly but I didn’t expect cold food. Not impressed at all.

Awful owner! Accused me of complaining constantly, when this was my first time ever I complained- ever,I've been buying there food for many,many month ,but to expect the owner embarrassed me on front of people, its complete disgrace!!! My order was done completely different,if people cannot speak English and answering for everything yes,yes,yes,that's not my fault! Clearly ,when you buy pizza ,u want to go back home and chill & eat not go back at 1am in the morning bringing pizza back which was done wrongly! And after being embarrassed on front of all people when you bring it back!!!

Food came early and was to say the best Donna kebab I've had in a long while and will defo use Sal's kebab & pizza again
