This is our regular chippy and we really rate it. Generous portions of crispy fish, loads of chips, always fast to deliver, can't fault them.

Best chippy in rugby always the best chips as well as customer service and the best chippy in town would highly recommend

Friday night chippy was on the cards for me & my son. Fish & chips, were spot on abundance of chips, fish had golden batter, which was great. Ordered pie and chips from specials menu @ £5.50 however for the price I was surprised how few chips came with the meal. Pie was fine.

Excellent food! Best kebab in rugby. Only negative was delivery quality, driver left outside the door without knocking or letting know, partner opened the door and she just looked back and pointed to the floor and walked away.

My brother recommended Star Fish Bar and I wasn't disappointed. The fish batter was the best I've had in ages.

The staff were friendly. The food is tasty and not dripping in grease. Very pleasant visit.

Best Fish and Chips in Rugby By Far, the others were good but then their prices shot up and portions and quality went down... This place is currently my one and only place I go for fish and chips in Rugby, and I've lived here 13 years.

Had Pie’s and Chips which where fab. Owner very nice and let me try the kebab meat which honestly was the nicest I have tried locally. Previously had the burgers which were a winner too.

Always do quality fish and chips, batter is nice and crispy. Doner kebabs are nice with 3 meats on offer. Staff are polite.

Good chips, kebabs batter is the only spoiler it is too heavy and wet spoils fish.

Use them every week, good selection menu, fast service and always cooked well, also on just eat so handy when busy

Food was terrible, fish was like rubber and the mushy peas just had an awful odd taste to them. Really not nice. Waste of £12 no chance will I be going back. Threw the lot away

This place seems to be consistently good with the current owners, I have had food from here a few times over the last year and every time the food has been spot on! Tonight i had a cheeseburger with donner meat on the burger and chips with curry sauce it was bang on, the donner meat is always good! won't use any other chippy now, 5 stars from me.

Premises looked clean, bright and spotless. Pleasant service. Ordered just chips, which were served straight from the fryer, pale golden in colour, cooked to perfection and tasted good. Very little oil on the paper when unwrapped, hardly any of usual lingering chip shop smell so presumably the oil had not long been changed.

Food generally spot on and fresh. Good parking, friendly staff and open all the time. Donor kebab and fish 👌🏽

Just had a delivery of Uber eats for this chip shop I must say it’s one of the best fish and chips I’ve had for a long time,and the value for money a lot of the fish and chips now Are really expensive can’t believe how nice this was five stars all the way😍

Says open until 14:30… was closed at 13:55. Don't trust the online hours!

Only gave one star but unfortunately I can’t give no stars. Arrived at around 9:25pm gentleman took our order, as we were waiting another gentleman came in asking for a chip butty which the man behind the counter didn’t understand myself, my partner and the gentleman who had ordered explain what it was. He then went to use his phone which I assumed to ask a colleague what it was, then proceeded to give the man chips in a pita. Then came back to us asking if it was a chicken burger which I replied yes, a double he then proceeded to show me 2 completely different type of burgers one was what looked a southern fried burger and unsure what the other was it was round I said I don’t want one that’s been sat there. I said I’ll have a doner instead, for him to tell me there is no pita bread left (as he had just given to customer for a chip butty) This is terrible service when I place an order I’d like my order to be put in to cook and not wait about 15 minutes to then double check my order with me. He also tried to give us the wrong size chips. left at 9:45pm hungry

Ordered 1 X Haddock and 1 x Plaice with Chips . Have ordered lots of times. Very disappointed as very greasy and cannot taste the difference between fish due to grease. No consistency of week on week.

Order food 1 and half hour ago and it conformed it on the way and it still not turned up

I always get a naan kebab. The naan bread is freshly prepared and well cooked. The meat, of late, has been superb - moist and flavourful. I also really like the main guy in there - I assume the owner - he's so friendly and polite. What's not to like?

First time I ordered from here, everything was delicious and was delivered 5 minutes earlier than expected, which was nice. My comment was read and order given accordingly. Will order again, keep up a good service 👍

Had a masala fish with fresh salad souce that wAs a incredible delicious.

food was ok creepy delivery making inapropriate comments about my gf shame as this was third time ordering only to find out after he has been making comments about my girlfriends appearence then had the audacity to ask her her name makes me shudder with anger

Doner kebab was completely dry and black, sauce just a little bit, very salty, before was best kebab for me.

This evening I enjoyed the best fish and chips I've had in a long time. We do tend to alternate around the different establishments in Rugby but this is likely to become our regular. This particular chippy has had a few owners in the past but the latest has hit the mark. Well worth another visit if you've been disappointed under previous ownership.

Batter on Sausage and the chips were dripping with oil and it smeeled like it needed changing, very disappointing.

Had to wait 25 minutes outside in a lengthy queue due to a lack of covid organisation, disappointing considering. Food was ok and staff polite.

New owners are amazing.... Go above and beyond! They usually close at 10. Got there at 10.05 yet he still made me fresh food including chips. Couldn't be more appreciative. Thank you ever so much it was delicious

All freshly cooked. Chips cooked whilst you wait. Makes a big difference when you like crispy chips.

Just ordered two large fish, large chips, mushy peas and a savaloy sausage and I must admit it’s been absolutely delicious. The best fish and chips we had in a while. Chunky delicious fish with golden chips, cooked freshly. Nice to have a good fish and chip shop around the corner.

This is the second time we have been to this chippy and again the fish was fantastic this will become my regular chippy in Hillmorton the staff are friendly and welcoming the portions are good sized the fish was cooked to order which is always a bonus and not greesy well done the star fish bar five stars.

Sevice poor food poor just don't go

Simple misunderstanding earned me unnecessary sass, and then proceeded to have the exact same conversation with another customer without the same lip. Good job ruining the experience before I've even tried the food.

This chippy is so horrible cold chips and luke warm food and most of all the owner tells us his problems about price of potatoes and how a business is hard to run ....if you can't do it don't mate as for me ordering from here again I will wont ever ......and will be telling everyone about your attitude pal

Tasteless food. Chips were awful. We were missing fish and chips from our order, after repeating myself on the phone 7 times and 20 minutes later only the fish was delivered.. 2 minutes later they came back with chips from someone else's order. Soggy fish, artificial colouring in the salad and the wrong sauce 👍 the worst chips we've had, won't be returning.

Been here a few times and the chips are usually brown and stale. I got sick of them this time and asked for fresh ones, and got more brown stale ones. They just changed their name to Oh My Cod because everybody knew the old one was bad. Nothing has improved, it’s the same people and the same stale chips just with a new name. Avoid, and maybe next time they fail and reopen under a new name they’ll learn. Absolutely cannot recommend less.
