Eat here often. Friendly staff, never have to wait long, food always good. Reasonable amount of road side parking bays outside.

A nice little café, we come here every week or so for lunch. The staff are all lovely, food is served quickly and it’s cheap too. Been coming here since I was a kid, love it every time.

This is an excellent place to eat but I must admit they need to start excepting card payments rather than just cash, most people use card now, please look into this, and keep up the brilliant work, the food is amazing and good value for money 👍🏻

Best place for brekkie or a light lunch, the waitress always helpful and friendly. Food is great value but still cash only which is a pain as nobody really carries cash these days. One star kept back till you get a card machine ....🙂

Me and my wife love to have a good breakfast a couple of times a month and we have tried a fair few differents cafes, Star Express is just brilliant, the best in our area, lovely fresh cooked food at a reasonable price, clean, plenty of seating and the staff are lovely and friendly, 5* easy.

A little gem in Letchworth. Best place for freshley cooked hot breakfasts, dinners , lighter bites and hot tea and coffee. The staff so friendly and they keep the cafe spotless clean . Excellent excellent 👏 👌 👍

Excellent breakfast and friendly service provided by staff. Service was quick and food and drinks (hot chocolate) were a good standard. Cafe was clean and staff were taking appropriate precautions.

Tend to stop here whenever we're in town and hungry. Not the most posh establishment on the street, but the food is ok, it comes quick, and the staff has always been nice.

Great all day breakfast, great service.

After walking out of a cafe in a local supermarket, we were greeted by a friendly lady, who served us quickly, helped us with what we would like from the menu, the food was hot, and delicious! Prices have gone up a lot lol but was happy with what we got for that.. the fact they made our process simple was worth it.. and the girls got a lolly, so sweet!

Don't know how this place has such a high rating, the woman in there is rubbing every knife and fork with her own hands before wrapping it in tissue, the food was terrible, the beans were mushy, egg was mushy and the sausage was even worse, skin peeling and also mushy, would not recommend, don't know how it has such a high rating

The other half and I Decided to go here seemed nice enough she ordered the gammon and the peas looked like they have been hot held for a few days my meal was nice but I ordered sausage chips and egg didn’t get any sausage at all also ordered a milkshake as the menu says milkshakes served with ice cream no ice cream and was just a glass of milk with chocolate in the bottom had to mix myself wasn’t happy as the other half was really hungry and she hardly eaten any of her meal. Not going back not worth the money

Nipped in today for the first time. It's much like a cafe that I used to frequent when I lived in Royston (Moreno). Cheap & cheerful - staff seemed alright, if a bit quiet/humble. Food was good, coffee was strong - brunch and coffee for £6.70 set me up for the day. Cheers!

Came here today for take away breakfast rolls for my colleagues and myself, was very disappointed that my egg and bacon baguette contained only bacon and scraping of egg white like they had put an egg in and then scraped it out not even a yolk in it, one colleague had a bacon soft roll only the bacon was in a burger bun and the other colleague had a bacon and sausage baguette, with only thinly sliced sausage in it. The quality was overall nice but very disappointed that was charged full price for half measures. Doubt we will be using these again unless an offer of a discount on next order is offered...

Star Express is our go to cafe in Letchworth. The staff are always very welcoming to us and our children. Our son loves going as the waitress Gina knows him by name and knows what he wants to drink. The food is served quickly and of a great quality and size. For quality, value for money and service for a quick breakfast or lunch I would highly recommend.

wouldn't feed the food to my dog...food was served like warm but somehow burned...no taste and the tables were dirty..Ireally have to say bout the place

A Letchworth must do! From toasted teakcake, cooked breakfasts to liver mash & onions, always cooked well and served with a smile! All staff super efficient and also important the kitchen and cafe spotlessly clean, no tables left with dirty plates here! Prices are extremely good value, Large plate full with jacket potato and cheese with coleslaw and salad £4.90!
