Such a lovely little cafe within a lovely quirky bookshop. For such a small cafe there was a wide variety of food and drinks including plenty of vegan optitions. Plus staff were great. So friendly!

This is a lovely little coffee shop hidden at the back of the bookshop. It’s small and you have to share your table with others.

Stumbled into the coffee shop first and then saw that it was a bookshop! Bought some children's books and a novel for me before realising that it was actually a map shop and the other books were just an add on! Anyway the coffee was good and we had more cake than we should have so it must have been good.

Siamo stati in questo locale molto carino e tipico. Le torte erano deliziose, i thè profumati ed il personale molto cordiale. Lo consiglio vivamente

A lovely travel and map bookstore with cafe. I enjoy browsing and then sitting to enjoy an excellent cappuccino. I was surprised to see they had a gluten free dessert this time, but it was a dry brick reminiscent of gluten free desserts when I was diagnosed nearly twenty years ago! The gluten eater reported that the blueberry muffin was good but not as tasty as the blueberry muffin from Costa Coffee. Come for the books and coffees, pass on the food.

Quick coffee and hot chocolate here after spending too much time and money on travel books in the shop, coffee was average, but Mrs C said her gingerbread style hot choc was gorgeous though a bit pricey at 3.99

A real gem of a bookshop with lots of maps, globes and many types of books too. Knowledgeable staff and also a nice cafe to encourage you to browse longer!

Situated at the back of one of London's classic old style bookshops in Covent Garden, this is a great place to settle down with a book or just gave s coffee while you recharge your phone! Good coffee, a reasonable selection of cakes and sandwiches and friendly staff. Does what it says on the tin - and does it well. Some might not like the background music, but it's soft enough to ignore.

Needed a blood sugar boost so after browsing books a standard coffee and bacon roll was the choice. Did a job but nothing more.

No frills experience. We took advantage of the large coffee/ breakfast roll combo deal saving roughly £1 each. Staff friendly and efficient. Coffee good. Our bacon tools were warmed through in a sandwich toasting device. The bread was appealingly warm and slightly crispy. The bacon stone cold.

Stanfords coffee house is inside the Stanford map store. It only has few tables available but it is usually quiet so you can often find a seat. They have 4 kind of hot chocolate. I recommend the dark hot chocolate... It is intensely chocolatey! Also tried a slice of poached pear and ginger loaf, which was good. My friend had a latte and a piece of red velvet cake. The latte was good, definitely better quality than the regular coffee you can get in London. The only let down was the red velvet; it was dry, probably had been there for few days; and tasted nothing except sugar. So I wouldn't recommend the cakes. Go for hot drinks you won't be disapointed!

With three floors of travel books and maps to explore, it's good to be able to take a break. The coffee house has a selection of drinks and baked items that hit the spot.

This coffee shop is well hidden and a quiet retreat from all the crowds (and chain coffee stores) in the area. Great coffee and excellent, friendly service as well!

It all looks OK but service is poor and the bar food served is cheap frozen food at prices that should require a far better quality. There are far better options in London

I used to love this place, but haven't been for nearly 10 years. I'm glad to see it hasn't changed too much, but with the downside that it is now apparently owned by BrewDog. Luckily, it appears they let them continue without having to follow the "taproom by numbers" you get out of most BrewDog bars, so not only does it have it's own look, but there is a much more interesting selection of beers. It was easy enough to get a seat on a Saturday afternoon, which is always a bonus in a decent location like this.

Fui a desayunar. Mucho a mucho. Este lugar no es para mi. Buen café sin embargo.
