From the moment we walked in the service was exemplary. Food was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Restaurant was clean but food a bit pricey. The manager whose name we didn’t get was great but special mention to Fraser who went out of his way to give us fantastic service

Excellent experience, visited with my mum and daughter pancakes were delicious had the dirty fries with pulled pork. Really quick and friendly service from Fraser. Lovely young lad and worth his weight in gold, you can tell he clearly enjoys his job. Will definitely visit again

Near the bus stops between the two shopping malls, we enjoyed our visit here. Good variety of pancake based dishes. More filling than we imagined our meals would be. Good service and fair prices. Would go back.

A review of 2 halves really as my daughter loved it - I wasn’t very impressed. Staff were pleasant. Prices I think are high. I had a sweet special stack which was average - nothing special and in my opinion not worth the price. My daughter had a savoury special with dirty fries. She enjoyed both but again the cost was high. £7:50 for fries either some tiny pieces of bacon, a little cheese then mayo drizzled over the top - this I think was an excessive price. Average food / service but priced too high for what you get. I wouldn’t rush to return.

So not worth the high cost. My teenage kids love going out for pancakes so we are always on the look out for new places to try. The pancakes themselves tasted ok but there was a lack of any filling in between the 2 pancakes so they were dry and at £2.75 for about 5 strawberries (straight out the packet) and another £2.75 for 1/2 a banana, it is a complete rip off. Three of us ordered the hand spun shakes, which looking at the menu were intensely coloured. They were nothing more than very weakly flavoured milk, such a rip off at £6!!! £18 for milk!! And then they added a 10% service charge automatically!!! This is not what I expected from a specialty restaurant. To be fair server was nice. Will not be back and hope this review helps others to avoid.

I was shopping in Livingston Centre and decided on going for lunch I have mobility issues so was using a mobility scooter the staff very kindly came and held open the doors for me to be able to come in. I was seated quickly it was quiet in the restaurant but then it is a Tuesday although it is lunch time. The restaurant is spacious easy for me to navigate the scooter to a table. I liked that at the very beginning they asked if I had any allergies they needed to be aware of before they even seated me I’ve never had a restaurant ask so early in a visit before I think it’s good they take this issue seriously with so many people now having food intolerances. I ordered the Shakshuka Stack which is a double stack of buttermilk pancakes Ras El Hanout, Morrocan Spiced Tomato Ragu, Nduja Sausage Mediterranean Vegetable Goats Cheese Egg Pickled Onion and Mint. The food was brought to the table pretty quickly maybe 10minutes my drink was almost instant. The food was delicious I have never had a savoury dish from this restaurant before and wasn’t sure what to expect from a pancake savoury dish but I thoroughly enjoyed it. There was a nice amount of spice in the Ragu and presumably from the Nduja although I can’t say I recognised where the sausage was in the dish. The goats cheese was just a small crumble along the top and other than the small sprig of mint on top I can’t say I tasted any mint in the dish. One of the eggs was a little over so wasn’t runny the second one I cut into was nice and runny. I cleared the plate I mean the food was delicious despite the little points mentioned above I have to say I would definitely order this dish again. The price was also reasonable wasn’t cheap but it was by no means expensive I felt it was a good price for what I received. All in all I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who would like to try something a little different.

Ordered the breakfast stack and the salmon and avocado topped pancakes. Neither of us are picky eaters but neither of us anywhere near finished our meal. The food was not freshly cooked / prepared, it was lukewarm and it all looked and tasted unappetizing. So disappointed as have wanted to try this for ages. Actually now feel a bit squeamish thinking about it....

Dined in stack and still on a Sunday afternoon. After our experience Im not surprised at the lack of business in venue despite being a prime lunch time. The venue in general could do with a good clean, tables were sticky and debris still on the chairs. Waiting staff were lovely when you got their attention but once handed off to the ever helpful qr code to order and pay, we only were attended to when food was delivered. Which came before our two cups for bottomless drinks and a apple juice. The food was uniform and matching to other sites of stack and still however through dining we found several hairs within one of the stacks of pancakes. When looking through to the open kitchen there was several members of kitchen without hair protection on.. the supervisor/manager on duty was very helpful and accomodating towards fixing the issues and refunded the hairy stack. Overall I think if the menu was cheaper, similar to a fast food restaurant it would be worth a return visit. But at £40+ for 2 adults and a child for the experience and food received is a bit much.

It was a bit.....pancakey! Too much pancake, not enough topping, and doesn't work as a savoury option. Pancakes should only be sweet I'm afraid. It's three hours later and I still feel too full and a bit nauseated. I never leave food on my plate but I did today. I got this as an offer and still feel ripped off. I'll not write any more as I would only continue to be negative, needless to say I will not go back. It didn't seem to have many customers or any atmosphere either. One positive point, the service was fine 👍.

I feel compelled to write a review because I felt the reviews I read before we visited didn’t help me decide whether to visit or not, in fact they were close to putting me off. We came anyway because I had included it in our trip and it was the sort of place my teenagers would usually enjoy. We were not disappointed! Yes it is pricey, however we all left full and satisfied. The food was great, well presented and well cooked. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. I’m glad we came, we won’t be regulars because of the price but as a treat for a family day out we really enjoyed it!

Visited here with friends and our baby. Pancakes were lovely and they do gluten free too and they looked just as good as the normal ones. My partner is coeliac and he is sensitive to CC and he was fine after eating here.

Started badly then went downhill. My wife and I ordered the Chipotle Pulled Pork double stack. The waitress returned to inform us that there was no pulled pork. ( 4pm on a Tuesday afternoon….really? ) OK. We then ordered the Piri Piri double stack. Oh dear! 2 dry pancakes topped with two, yes two chicken tenders, a tiny amount of coleslaw a drizzle of piri piri sauce and a spoonful of crème fraiche, no filling between the pancakes. At £12.45 each this is a disgrace. The server didn’t ask how our meal was ( maybe she guessed what the answer would be ) Won’t be visiting a Stack and Still again.

Felt it was a bit overpriced. And it was freezing inside. Good choice of toppings though and the kids’ deal is very good value.

We thought we would try something different.🤔 Pancakes with peanut butter reesers creams and chocolate sauce great idea very sweet and tasty, gets a little too much after so long 😬 Pancakes with chilli pulled pork, pickle, mustard and bbq sauce with one onion ring, yummy savoury in pancakes Is nice. The presentation was great both very nice, the savoury one let down with one onion ring I thought at least three🤔 also a little bit hotter would have been just right. Dirty fries yes very nice hot and just the right amount of sauce and bacon bits and piping hot. Will go back but in no hurry.

I took my mum to Stack & Still in Livingston as she hadn’t been before. When entering the restaurant we felt like we went really welcome, we went to a table and sat down my mum felt uncomfortable at this table so we chose another. We then chose what we wanted to eat and ordered, my mums came and looked fine, mine came and looked like it had been sitting for hours on end, it was cold the fried egg looked like a rubber one, there was nothing fresh about my breakfast pancake !! but they served it to me anyway! The manager never even came to my table to offer an apology which was bad manners, he never even uttered a word when I left… absolutely terrible behaviour !!

We had our evening meal with our grandson on Saturday. The staff were helpful and friendly. We found the menu interesting for savoury dishes. I had a taco stack and my wife had a falafel stack. The taco stack was drowned in BBW sauce and couldn't taste anything else. The falafel stack had no sauce or dressing and was very dry. Our grandson enjoyed his bacon and beans stack. We didn't think the savoury dishes worked and pancakes are better suited to brunch and desserts.

Popped in here because my American wife loves breakfast. Thought this place might be like iHop. The pancakes were NOT fresh, just poorly reheated so that butter wouldn’t even melt on it. The bacon was barely microwaved let alone grilled or fried - a good vet could have resuscitated it. The Americano coffee tasted like instant, and the beans with my own pancake had been sitting, coagulating in a pot for some time. Needless to say, we were very disappointed and will NEVER go back…truly terrible. Service was ok, but they didn’t seem to care about the comments.

Looking forward to breakfast pancakes. Unfortunately did not live up to expectations. Our order came quickly, our pancakes were not freshly made, expected hot and fluffy but they came luke warm. I have been told sweet pancakes are better. Unlimited drinks is a good idea...

Our team had an absolute amazing festive Meal & drinks at the Oatridge. The food was delicious and having the 2 or 3 course choice was perfect .Every dish was served promptly and hot and the servings were plentiful. The Servers Hazel & Pamela were fantastic, nothing was to much for them, so attentive . Sarah in the Bar before & after the meal was brilliant and really kept us in the Party spirit. Thank you for kicking off our festive season. We hope the rest of your season is a great one . From one hospitality Bar to another Merry Christmas & All the best for 2025
