Went in tonight 8/8 about 18:15 for a fish supper fish was bland and batter was soggy the worst fish supper ive had think i will stick to the golden chip in linlithgow from now on.

2 years ago I said this was the plbest takeaway I'd had, now as of the new management it's the worst

Food usually cooked fresh, staff friendly, I always enjoy what I purchase from Marmaris.

Fish was soggy and filled with bones. Completely inedible- chips were decent

Nothing like previous owners. Batter on fish and puddings disgusting. Fat and stodgy Won’t be back unless he gets a chef who can cook fried fish and chips etc

Just received a chicken kebab. Inedible. Never had anything so disgusting. Dried up tiny bits of chicken swimming in oil. Wondering is it was deep fried. Will never order this again.

Been to-day ......16/05/2024......@ 6.30pm.....overcharged by man at till by £2.80....won,t keep customers doin that.....(he can,t work the till)....defo won,t be back.......

We placed an order online for delivery, what we ordered was not delivered. We had added extras with one meal, spicy chicken dippers, no sauces were delivered, although they show on the email confirmation. We called the shop who denied that hat you could order them and would do nothing. Sorry service here is horrible not interested when you’ve paid and delivered. Don,t use them if that the service they provide.

Kebab was lovely and well presented The portion was huge, the salad was lovely and fresh and crisp . Will last me 2 dinners as too much for me to eat in one go although I did try .The staff are friendly and helpful

If I could give it zero stars I would. Cold food and the fish smelled off 🤢 to top it off a dead fly was In delivery bag! Health and safety standards need to check this place out

Got a steak pie supper January 3rd never again worst I've ever had pie burnt and chips half cooked totally rank

Take away for a Hogmanay party and now we're too full to drink. The portion sizes are huge! We could easily have shared the kebab wrap and pizza even though the fish supper was being shared they were both full. Chips were great and not one of them soggy. Chicken pakora were more like whole breast never mind fillets or strips. Mixed kebab could have fed 3 or 4. 10% online discount well worth the sign up. We will return

Utterly awful. Tonight we called to see what the status of our order was after ordering it 2 hours before. The memeber of staff told us "well you can just cancel the order then" and then promptly hung the phone up on us. I called back and naturally a bit angry and said you cant talk to customers like that. Order still hadnt arrived an hour later, and we called again only to be advised she had cancelled our order. We will NEVER set foot in Almo's every again!

It's one of the nicest places locally, the staff are Brill so is the food. Highly recommend 👌!

Forst time ever ordering from here, cheap and was still hot when I got it delivered to Bathgate, however the pizza was a bit well done, taste good but the cheese was orange nearly burnt, and the crust was nearly black

Food never arrived but took payment. Staff on phone lied about it being on way driver will be 5 minutes this was after 1hr 50 mins

I asked for a thin crust well done 16" spicy chicken and peppers, mushrooms and pepperoni with stuffed crust pizza, with a tomato and garlic base, it was delicious.

Don’t waste your money ordered a delivery eat the chips and cheese then was sick after it other food was cold and disgusting food wasn’t fresh felt like if it was lying for a fortnight 😡😡

Bought food 18. 15 pm 18/12/2022 (Fish and chips + TANGO drink) After eating it am started feeling sick. Got food poisoning. Something is wrong with food. Probably no hygiene in this place.... Went home and started vomiting...

Stay clear honestly writing this while felling sick. Got a mega box deal it should have came with a free coffin ⚰ Everything tastes bad in the box. Chilli sauce was chippy sauce but pink. Please don't waste your money here.

Absolutely the best and friendliest chip shop staff I've ever met

Friday night suppers are cheaper than our local chippy in England and the quality is very good. There is lots to choose from which includes vegans to full hit gut busting meals, when ever we visit this part of Scotland it's the first port of call for our evening meals with so much to choose it take us about 5 minutes to make up our minds. Looking forward to visit again.

Friendly place till I exposed myself I had to shuffle at 90mph with my keks round my ankles. They must have seen the funny side as I was allowed back in. Just hope they don't release the cctv on to youtube!!!!

Got a smoked sausage supper. It was nice. Recently been munching on their quarter pounders with cheese. Bit more cheese please! These burgers are delicious. Pizzas are a bit "loaded" which may suit some but not for me. To much cheese. Overall. Not bad At all. Edit: will update this to five * if you start putting grated cheese on the cheeseburgers and I buy these a lot. :) Edit: Thank you for the response Mr Almo. However no 5*

Never been so dissapointed What a waste of money, pakora sitting in the shelf looked amazing it actually hurt to try and eat it. It was ready to eat at least 3 days ago. It was inedible the chicken was so overcooked.it turned to powder when you tried to bite it. Onion rings look amazing ... do not be fooled they are cold and greasy, sitting on the shelf the batter turns far too tough to be able to eat. Honestly never been so disappointed in a takeaway. I deserve money back and free meal cooked properly after that shambles.

This is some kind of misunderstanding, you had a good meat in kalzone kebab, and I ordered today for my son and he says that it is impossible to eat it and it's really bad, change suppliers because you will lose your clicks

An hour and 45 mins for a burger, single sausage and onion rings on a Monday is an absolute joke. The last time I used this place was a joke but seems it’s a lot worst now. The burger was disgusting the sausage looked as if they’ve been sitting for days and reheated over and over. The onion rings well they were so soggy that they got binned followed buy the rest customer service is a joke. Hung up when you complain to them. STAY AWAY. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

They are very friendly staff, the food is tasty, reasonable prices, as you would expect with a takeaway, they sell excellent veggie burgers which I love and you can get other vegetarian items here.

Worst kebab I v ever had meat like leather and suaces rotten

Really disappointed. Ordered a 1.5 litre bottle of Coca-Cola to go with my order and was told there was a mix up and only got a can. Asked if this would be getting rectified and delivery driver just shrugged his shoulders and walked off, completely unhelpful and basically paid for a product I never received. Pizza was a big let-down. Will be sticking with Domino's and Pizza Hut in future as they're a safe bet which is a shame because I would prefer to support small, independent businesses first. Would not recommend this place, sadly. Opt for another chip shop, folks, West Lothian isn't exactly short of them.

Food was OK, would probably go somewhere else next time though... Paid for food, then was told I'd have to wait for it.. Waited 15 mins!

Items missing from kids meals. Expected me to just accept it when I called to complain. I was polite but the staffs attitude was terrible despite this. There was a younger lady on the phone, getting told what to say. I asked her not to be the middle person and pass the phone and the younger lady did as I asked... I ended up talking to an absolute delinquent of a woman. The food quality was terrible. I was refused a refund and when I asked to speak to the manager, the woman on the phone said no. I asked who the manager is and I was shocked to hear her reply "I can't give you that information" Oh my goodness... No knowledge of statutory rights then? Let alone how to run a fast food establishment or even even how to handle a basic phone call. I will not be wasting my money here again. Absolutely appalling!

Got my first delivery last night girl on the phone very helpful.said 40 mins arrived on time still very hot pakora plenty of it and the kebab was massive.delivery guy found my house which is not easy he was very friendly thanks everything perfect.

Wouldn’t even give a star, had many takeaways out of here and always been good. The staffs attitude now however is terrible and I won’t be back. Speaking to customers with aggression and walking away mid discussion is no way to run a business.

This is the second time I order food and never get it.iv been waiting over an hour,I stay in whitburn and there is atleast 5 kebab shops in here,but I'm using always Almos,but bot anymore from today. Not happy at all I dont recommend for anyone,if you really want to use almos,dont make your order after 10pm.otherwise just forget it,ull never get.

Food is average. Do not instructions on delivery or orders. Asked for no butter on roll came dripping in the s**t asked to leave at door as paid by card so dog won't bark. Driver stands chapping door after being buzzed into flat by myself.

Sorry to say this because it used to be so good. Got a fish supper tonight Friday 19th March and it was the worst I heave ever had, batter was hard and not too warm, also a load of batter at each end of fish. Would not like to get hit over head with it. VERY disappointing 😕😪

Just got sausage supper out of here , it was disgusting , sausage was full of grease , bit into it the grease run out of it . Chips where not much better .

Terrible. Got a fish supper waited on chips being made 😂 they were cold unbelievable. My brother also got fish supper his cat would not touch the fish. Stinking. £17 00.down the drain won't be back. All in the bucket.

Not always the best, depending when you visit the chippie, between 5pm and 6pm most is just cooked fresh, and would be worth the price and another star, but out with that time tends to be reheats, and I've had deli belly on the last occasion, so won't be going back.:-(

Phone staff all have an attitude been there 3 times and not once have they got the order right, when finally you get the order the food is good and usually good size too would not recommend!

Love Almo's, his produce is tasty and very fairly priced. Can be busy but worth the wait, portions are huge.

Ordered delivery and from phone call to delivery was 65 minutes. Think my food had been packed for some time and left in a hot bag as my chips were rank and tasted like they had been stuck in a microwave...... Did not enjoy my dinner. Only ate it as was very hungry and had to get ready for work

Decent food but the staff are completely incapable of adding sauce to a fish supper it seems, as my last three orders has none even when requested.

You get a lot, but not the best

Food took ages to arrive and after the staff mixing up the order and then didn't feel great after eating (what i would of it). Definitely not on my list to visit again.

A huge variety of food available here. Portion sizes are excellent and prices are good. Everything I have had so far tasted good. Service is good. Friendly staff and quick.

nice place to look at but took them nearly 30 minutes to make a 12" calzone which wasnt much bigger than mini calzone ive bought elsewhere, the roll and chips i also ordered had about a dozen chips but no roll. at least the dog enjoyed it

Order time 7:39 PM, Never again never, ordered pizza online , after 50 min of waiting they called me and said the order didnt come through( so how did they know lol ) so they call me and said they are going to make a pizza for me and will be within 20 min as the driver is there , after another 50 min I called them back they lied to me again and said the driver is on it's way, If i have a choice to score 0 i would do that, never again .... time 9:20 PM still waiting

We was away on holiday and tried it was very disappointed in the food

First time to this chip shop and we all enjoyed the food. The large donner calzone was massive and could easily feed 3 people. The king rib supper was amazing. Will definitely be using this chip shop as our new favourite one now.

Great grub for when you're in a rush or just want to stay in. The pizzas are excellent. Easily the best takeaway in West Lothian
