A very welcoming atmosphere. The staff are lovely. Lemon cake is to die for.

An amazing place to relax, eat and drink! All the cakes are ‘home made’ and absolutely delicious! We had Chocolate & Orange, Carrot Cake and a piece of gorgeous Cherry Bakewell. The team were so delightful to speak to and the lady from the art shop was great when talking to the boys. Highly recommended!

Lovely cafe with a great atmosphere. A plus is the art shop and lovely walk along the river. There is also a "bike meet" every second Sunday of the month. Would highly recommend.

Shirt Framing. Enquired about having some signed Plymouth Argyle shirts framed. Enjoyed the friendly service and the end results were fantastic. Would highly recommend having a chat with them if you need any framing.

Lovely choice of lunchtime food. Small plates, sandwiches, and cakes. Very generous portions and great coffee. Pricing is very reasonable, too.

An oasis of calm off the beaten track . I took two paintings and was treated like royalty.. then a light in a cozy friendly cafe… a perfect setting … sush don’t tell anyone🤫

Amazing find, A truly professional art studio and picture framers set in beautiful surroundings with a coffee shop and delicious cakes. We needed a picture framing quite quickly & by setting it up beforehand they were able to help us. Nothing was too much trouble.

We all love this place - great coffee and cakes and friendly staff. It's also attached to a brilliant little art shop with art lessons available. Fantastic 🌟

I have attended two Tuesday art class lessons. I have never drawn or painted before. The lessons are really lovely, relaxing, and so fulfilling! The team are welcoming and so kind. I urge anyone who wants two hours of time to themselves and to give art a go, to try here!

Beautiful building and setting, we were greeted with a lovely welcome. The staff were friendly and made it feel relaxing, the food was stunning. I took my family twice as it was so lovely. Dog friendly and great value. Looking forward to my next visit.

I love this treasure trove of an art shop. They have all the essentials plus so much more. I’ve also used the cafe which was lovely. The toilets are clean too. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is also a little cabin outside that sells crafting fabric, embroidery equipment etc and the lady is extremely helpful in there also with a great range of stock. Highly recommend.

B Stable Art is always our first port of call for framing and art materials. But now there’s the added benefit of coffee and stunning giant hobnob biscuits. I don’t know how they make their coffee, but it is genuinely the BEST I have had. They are always very welcoming and extremely knowledgeable about their products and framing options.

Delightful cafe and artists haven in a beautiful setting. A place that you really want to keep to yourself but can't help but tell all your friends and family about. A very tasty menu offers up delicious food and to top everything off, it has a riverside walk and is dog friendly. What more could you ask for.

Excellent little cafe on the first floor, with a chair lift which my dad loved. Excellent cake, delicious hot chocolate and friendly staff.

Don't miss out on Stable Art, they are exceedingly helpful, informative, give fantastic advice and are very knowledgeable. Perfect ambience, delicious cakes and served by welcoming, friendly staff. The stair lift was a wonderful experience assisting my sister. Thank you all at Stable Art for making our day.

And how I resisted the cakes I have no idea. They looked delicious. Definitely going to go back now I know where this little gem is! Highly recommended 👌

We visited while on holiday a few weeks ago ,we had a lovely vegetarian lunch and very dog friendly .even have pup cakes 🐕 Would have been nice to have brought some local art supplies or branded as Stable Art rather than the usual stuff I could buy on Amazon . The owner of the shop was lovely though and is now looking into some branded stuff X

Bit of a find this place!! May be on a back road to no where, and definitely off the beaten track, but just the cafe is worth the trip!...and a bit of artists stuff on the side. Wonderful!!

One of those little gems you come across occasionally that you do not expect. As well as supplying all the materials an artist may need they also offer a framing service. General arts and crafts have not been neglected and is well worth a browse. Located on the upper floor is a lovely cafe with a very good choice of hot and cold food. Service and quality is very good and prices are reasonable. An added bonus is the beautiful Chapel renovation where the business is located. Outside, there are some pods with further craft offerings. Although off the beaten track a little, It is well worth the effort to find it.

Stopped off on a bike ride and we were made to feel very welcome. Takeaway coffee and cake powered us on!

Friendly helpful knowledgeable staff creating a pleasant relaxing place to gain skills. The indigo pencil and soft grey/white pastel are working my favourites to play with. Also thank you for curried parsnip soup with cheese scone quite the tastiest savoury combo for a loooong time. Very happy customers who will check out classes when booking next trip 😁🙂

Superb. I went yesterday with a friend for the first time and I will most certainly go again. Wonderful coffee and a selection of delicious cakes. Extremely friendly people. Very quiet and peaceful. Social distancing taken very seriously. It is a complete gem of a place and paradise for people wanting art materials.

Friendly service starting the shop all the way to Cafe. Limited menu (due the Civid) but it's enough to enjoy your quick break - cakes divine and coffee tasty!! Defiantly going back! Simply but perfect!!!

What a hidden gem this is! I just love it when local businesses develop and Stable Art have done that and some. They used to be located in Bodmin town centre and although, even then their shop was a joy to visit with it's carefully designed exterior to the well stocked interior and outstanding framing service, they have now pulled out all the stops in their premises now to be found at Fletchersbridge. Not much more than a stones throw from Bodmin and easily accessed from the Liskeard roundabout and just past the cemetery and Cardinham Woods, Stable Art is in a beautifully converted chapel. They've carried over from their previous town location the standard and offering but upped the ante by adding a wonderful little cafe and offering a very wide range of arts and crafts courses. Love this place and congratulate the owners and staff on providing such a smashing edition to Bodmin and surrounding areas.

Excellent Framing service and Cafe - an absolute must for a delicious coffee and cakes. Try the homemade chocolate hob nobs!! The framing service is outstanding. Sound advice is offered if needed and they will work to a very quick deadline. Excellent quality frames, the end product is wonderful.

Super setting for a coffee & cake and great friendly service

Excellent, the food was delicious, we had the Ploughmans quiche, very well presented. The staff are brilliant, very professional and friendly. The old chapel is a beautiful building and the setting is fantastic, a lovely place to live and work. Very Highly Recommended .

Fabulous chapel conversion in a beautiful setting, stocked full with all the art and picture framing supplies you could wish for! Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff and the added bonus of Coby's Cafe - good coffee and a tempting selection of sweet treats. There's also a tasty-looking menu of light meals though we've not tried these ... yet! Also has a large stock of framed mirrors and offers picture framing, art classes and more!
