Five of us including a vegetarian had a full English breakfast. Everything was of a high quality and cooked extremely well. The waiting staff were very pleasant and friendly. Would definitely recommend at £6.95 per breakfast 10 out of 10.

My friend and I visited for cake and coffee. It was all ok but the tables were a bit cramped together meaning private conversation was not possible

My wife and I was invited to a Christening in Chesterfield on Saturday 18th and then to a buffet after at St Thomas' Coffee Bar Centre which was excellent. All the food was home made by themselves ( 3 types of mini quiche, tuna sandwiches, ham and beetroot sandwiches both on lovely bread, cakes, fresh fruit salad etc). If it lived locally we would certainly use it and there catering service. Attentive and friendly staff.

Great place to meet friends and enjoy a tasty bite to eat and drink. Greeted with a warm welcome. The selection of cards and small gifts is also something I visit for. I often find that ‘something a little bit different’.

Good reasonably priced coffee and snacks/light meals. Good sized portions and lovely homemade soup with good bread. Staffed mainly by volunteers and young people very efficiently. Smallish and can get very busy.

I have been to St Thomas' many times to do a bit of work when I need a change of scenery. There's free wifi, good cheap food, comfortable seats and the staff are always so friendly.

We visit St Thomas' regularly either for a coffee when out walking or to have lunch. Our seven year old grandson says that they serve "the most amazing hot chocolate - ever". The coffee bar is in the same building as the meeting rooms, so a brilliant place to hold a social event or meeting.

We had a pleasant welcome and were quickly served by friendly and smartly dressed staff. The cafe is clean, airy and light with well spaced tables. An excellent baked potato with cheese and beans had a very nice side salad and good coleslaw. Also it was reasonably priced. Couldn't fault the coffee.

We live locally and often call in here to meet with friends. The service is excellent and the snacks are very tasty. They never hurry you and we often have a leisurely chat. There is a large car park behind the church and the cafe is adjacent to it.

The food & drink are always to a high standard & the service is very good. When it's very busy it does get a bit noisy but you can always spill out to the outside patio area (weather permitting)

Not a big choice of teas and coffee but adequate. Cakes and snacks are very tasty. Staff friendly though tables not always cleared promptly. Could be difficult for hard of hearing to have a good natter as the acoustics are not very good.

What a treat!! The restaurant is super cosy and elegant, a really nice venue for a treat or a special occasion. The food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection, especially the steaks which were juicy and melt-in-the-mouth. The only comment I have is that some of the desserts feel a little over-priced for what they are. At Cocina, their meat is cooked in a Josper Grill, which imparts a smokey flavour, resulting in tender, juicy, and fragrant meat. They use the finest cuts of meat including home reared Belted Galloway rare breed cattle from their very own Walton Lodge Farm Estate. The other meals offered on the menu also use the finest, freshly sourced ingredients. OFFERS ⚠️ Monday – Friday £25pp for 4 Tapas dishes OR one Tapas dish and Main/Steak meal from a selected menu OR 2 for £25 on some selected main meals. Steak Sensation for Two for £75 – Available exclusively on Friday and Saturday evenings, which includes 16oz Walton Lodge Chef’s Choice Sharing Steak, choice of two sides and a bottle of house wine, red or white. We enjoyed; Tapas (price range £7 – £11/£17 for scallops); Smokey Padron Peppers, Crispy Calamari, Gambas Pil Pil 10oz Rib Eye (£28), medium rare, with triple-cooked chips, roquette leaves, grated aged Manchego cheese, and smoked paprika roasted vine tomato + wild mushroom sauce (+£4) 10oz Sirloin Steak (£32), medium rare, with the above sides + peppercorn sauce (+£4) Spiced Apple Tarte Tatin with Tonka bean ice cream (£9) Affogato with Shanky’s Whip whisky liqueur (£9) We also enjoyed a lovely Rioja that went well with the food We had such a lovely meal in this restaurant, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone that enjoys tapas and steaks as the food was exceptional, in a gorgeous setting. 💷 Spend: Approx. £30-£40pp for a main/tapas dishes and drink ⏰ Open Hours: Monday to Saturday 6pm – 9:30pm 🚗 Parking info: Free parking at the hotel for customers

Had a tasty mocha in pleasant surroundings, people watching from the raised area. Not a fantastically large selection, but all quality beverages and snacks. My mocha was nicely presented and tasted great. What more could you ask for.

Very friendly pub and dog friendly. Great atmosphere and good range of drinks. Maybe sandwiches would be a good idea to go with a pint.
