This is about meal in main dining room the meal, service and ambience were all terrific. We had the set menu which offered a god but limited choice. Cheerful and attentive staff, food beautifully presented and served to us with a smile. The room is spectacular, the Victorian fittings accentuated, lots of gold leaf. With wine worked out at £70 per head. Excellent value for food and service of this quality.

A beautiful building in a central location and perfect for traveling by Eurostar. Be sure to book a room with access to the Chambers Club, the breakfast there is really good and you can get drinks at any time throughout the day at no extra charge, as well as small evening snacks and Aternoon Tea. Would I book there again? Rather no, there are the following reasons - We encountered mice on the 1st floor and in the Chambers Club (the appropriate bait is available - maybe that will help) - Our room card only worked for a few hours, then the door between the elevator and the hallway was blocked for us and we had to go to reception every day - on the last evening we had a "threatening letter" in our room, saying that we had already used extras for over 500 GBP and that 200 GBP would be debited from our credit card for the next two nights; If we don't want any problems when checking out, we should come to the reception immediately (almost sad, at the reception they were completely irritated and just said "they didn't have any extras, I don't understand that".....)

Stayed here for 1 night prior to catching an early morning Eurostar train. Efficient check in. We stayed in a new renovated room in the Barlow Wing ( 733). Lovely comfy bed. Plenty of space for clothes and great bathroom with fab walk in shower. There area few bars. It was lovely enough to sit outside in the terrace for an afternoon glass of wine, they have heaters and blankets if you get chilly. The Booking Office Bar in the evening is lively and buzzing.

Incredibly rude, brusque service; really gone downhill (my friends commented, like a Premier Inn lounge, though that does a disservice to the Premier Inn). Tried to get a table in the lobby lounge. “45 minute wait if you’re not eating!” (it was 5.30pm & there were plenty tables). Shunted off to the ticket office bar. No obvious hostess system - it’s just a bar after all - so sat at a high stool table in the bar area. After about 20 minutes (no drinks service in all that time) a hostess came bustling over & literarily growled “how many people?” (Like she couldn’t count), promptly followed by telling us we had to leave as said we weren’t eating. Tried to direct us back to the lobby lounge; when I said we were told 45 mins wait there and to go to the bar, she was unrepentant and said we had to move. Quite cross by now at her attitude, I said I wouldn’t move until we had a table to move to (I was trying to conduct a business meeting), She then suggested a cafe next door on St Pancras concourse! I said no. She then flounced off, seemingly to find us seats but never returned. A few minutes later a lovely man came over snd asked if he could find us seats. Then transpired there were ample. £40 for two drinks after being treated like an inconvenience? I won’t be rushing back.

On arrival at 3pm, our family room wasn't ready, so we were offered a room upgrade to a suite. It was beautiful. Great comfy beds (even the 2 x rollaway beds), fab facilities. Particularly loved the White Company toiletries and L'Occitane pillow spray 🤍 Breakfast was delicious, and we had a very lovely waitress. All in all, cannot recommend this hotel enough. A truly breathtaking location. The building is one of the finest I have stayed at ever. After a previous stay I would have put it on my "must see" hotels around the world. It's convenient to my meetings in the area, and so easy to get to from Heathrow. This stay was unusually expensive, but I had enjoyed the spectacle of the building so much on a prior stay I thought it was worth the charge. Upon my return home I came up in welts on one arm and one side of my head. The hotel have (after 3 weeks) confirmed the presence of bed bugs. I understand that this is something that happens, the train to the continent stops beside this hotel. It's a big, international, interconnected city. Here's what was avoidable: Taking days to acknowledge my complaint, with further guests exposed to the bedbugs through this period, not contacting me when we have agreed (multiple times). Taking 3 weeks to acknowledge the bed bugs. Commiting to make restitution and not following through. The marks on my arm are still visable. This is a risk as a frequent traveler (though you would hope less of a risk at such an expensive hotel?) The complaint handling should have been a chance to shine. When I get them on the phone the apologies are profuse. Never any follow up. Not a customer centric culture.

The hotel is gorgeous. This is an amazing building. Our room was nicely appointed. I had a couple of issues. The breakfast service was g-l-a-c-i-a-l. When I am on vacation, I don't want to sit around waiting for my food. The point of having breakfast in the hotel is to eat and then get out to see London. We had to wait and wait. It made no sense as the restaurant was not crowded. They just seemed to take their sweet time. I also had an issue with the doorman. I was carrying a DSLR camera - not taking pictures. The guy approached me and says that I can't take pictures inside with a "professional" camera. First of all, I was not taking pictures. Furthermore, really? I cannot take pictures of the lobby of a hotel where I am spending hundreds of dollars to stay? Quite ridiculous. Other than these issues, the hotel was okay. The location is so-so. Long train ride to where the action is. Update: My spouse complained about the service. They took two beers and a bottle of water off our bill. Interesting choice since we complained about the breakfast and not the drinks. It makes it seem like they are not taking our complaint seriously, as if the only reason we are complaining is to get a discount.

A Truly Memorable Staycation at St Pancras Renaissance Hotel My recent staycation at the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel London was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I stepped into the iconic building, I was transported into a world where history meets luxury. I had the pleasure of staying in the St George Gilbert Scott Suite, and it was absolutely phenomenal. The suite itself was a perfect blend of historic charm and modern amenities including the separate living/dining room. The high ceilings, intricate detailing, and grand windows overlooking the bustling streets of London made the space feel both grand and intimate. The attention to detail in the suite’s decor truly pays homage to the rich history of the building, while the modern comforts ensured a relaxing and luxurious stay. One of the highlights of the hotel is the iconic stairway, which is nothing short of magical. Walking down the staircase felt like stepping into a different era—each step is steeped in history and elegance. It’s no wonder this staircase has been the backdrop for so many iconic photographs and films. I spent a good amount of time just admiring the stunning craftsmanship and taking in the atmosphere. The service throughout my stay was impeccable. The staff were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. From the warm welcome at check-in to the personalised touches in the suite, every detail was thoughtfully curated. Dining at Booking Office, the hotel’s restaurant, was a delightful experience as well. The menu offered a great selection of British classics, including Sunday Roast and the ambiance perfectly complemented the historic setting of the hotel. In conclusion, my stay at the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel was a truly memorable experience. The St George Gilbert Scott Suite and the magical stairway are just a few of the highlights that make this hotel stand out. If you’re looking for a staycation that combines luxury, history, and impeccable service, I highly recommend this hotel. I will definitely be returning!

Hotel itself is nice but severely understaffed to the point of affecting ability to serve clientele. As a platinum elite member I was asked to wait 3 hours for a room, even after check-in time. I assume this is because of housekeeping issues. As many times as I asked for help, no one would assist me with this issue. Front desk staff just kept disappearing to avoid customers. That didn't stop them, however, from approaching my child and asking her essentially to vacate the lobby because it looked bad to have people sitting around waiting. She had to sit on the floor because there was no where else to sit due to the number of waiting people. The room refrigerator didn't work. There are no bathroom ventilation fans. The bathroom doors kept closing by themselves. Carpets were dirty. Kitchen was open to the hallway leading to the elevators, creating a lot of noise, heat and bad smell. The guest wi-fi didn't work and after several hours of trying to figure it out, only then did the staff give us the appropriate network. The key card machine was also broken, so when my key failed to work I had to wait a significant time for a new one to be made. All in all, a disappointing stay.

I stayed here with family for 2 nights during a multi-city trip to Europe, and we loved it for the most part. It's historic but beautifully renovated, and the public spaces of the hotel are just stunning. We had a wonderful meal in the Booking Office restaurant, and staff were lovely. It's also in a fantastic location for transit, being part of St. Pancras Station. The rooms aren't quite as nice as the public spaces - just typical business hotel-type rooms, but they were spacious, comfortable, and very clean. Watch out for the bathrooms: they've been set up with extremely high-sided tub/shower combos that have no curtain or full wall, so it's very difficult to take a shower without soaking the entire bathroom, which becomes a pretty serious slip hazard. It's also difficult to get into and out of the tub safely - my sister and I are on the short side and both ended up with huge bruises on the back of our legs where we scraped them against the sharp-edged tub top while trying to climb out.

I stayed 4 nights for business in April and wondered many a time how this hotel managed to get a 5 star classification. To start with pros, the room was great: It was spacious and clean, and very quiet at night so I had good nights' sleep (I specifically asked for a quiet room). And it's conveniently located next to King's cross. The service and maintenance was very lacking, however. I got there after a long sleepless 10+ hr flight at 1:30 PM, and they turned me away to come back at 3 PM. Which is understandable given the policy, but most other hotels would have let you check in. The kick was, when I came back at 3, they had me wait for another ~40 min because the room wasn't ready. It sucked even more because there wasn't much room to wait comfortably at the lobby because 99% of the space was occupied by restaurants. There was literally 1 really uncomfortable sofa to sit in, if you're not a restaurant guest. The female staff who was supposed to check me in mysteriously disappeared after I was waiting for ~20 min, but the staff who took over was very courteous. The housekeeping wasn't thorough. They didn't do a good job cleaning the bathtub and somehow decided to skip the complimentary biscuits for the last 2 days. When I asked for a yoga mat, the room service rudely answered "Ooh, I don't think we have any available in the building'. When I asked whether they can check, they said they'd check and deliver it to me if there was any. To a surprise to no one, no yoga mat was ever delivered to my room. The TV was non-operational for the half of the stay because of wi-fi issues, and the staff wasn't apologetic about it either. The lifts and the lobby corridor smelt like rubbish bins, and there are no separate lifts for contractors or staff. Overall, the room and the location was great, but there are many better 5 star hotels in London than this.

It seems the hotel may not fully grasp the extent of inconvenience caused by the lack of WiFi to someone visiting London on business for a week. The experience was profoundly unsatisfactory, and the nonchalant response from the staff was astonishing. Moreover, the maintenance of the hotel, excluding the lobby, restaurants, and public areas, particularly the rooms and corridors, left much to be desired. Upon my arrival on Monday, an unsightly wall greeted everyone staying on the 3rd floor right off the elevator, an issue that remained unaddressed until I mentioned it to the front desk on Thursday; it is still unaddressed. EVERYONE was displeased with this experience and the entire experience still has me baffled. It should have been communicated when we arrived since it was a knows issues, but it was not as I assume management would rather have $18,245.68 for my party's 38 nights on the books vs. having satisfied customers which are left scarred from this Marriott experience. It's bewildering that at one of Marriott's top-tier properties, the staff fails to report such issues that one would expect at a lesser establishment, like a Holiday Inn in Hackney. This experience has been exceedingly displeasing, to the point where I am writing this review.

The service staff are great, all of them have been really gracious and kind, especially those at the front desk and Booking Office. However, the infrastructure is extremely poor. I got stuck in the lift during my stay, and i was stuck for more than an hour. There was no emergency contact in the lift and i was stuck alone. The lift had a bell for emergencies, and i pressed it so that it rang for quite some time. No one came to help though. No one came through the telecom as well. Perhaps it would be useful to put an emergency contact to the front desk in the lift if they dont intend for the bell to be used. In the end, another hotel guest heard the ring and went to contact a hotel staff. Nevertheless, it took some time to find servicemen. While the servicemen were working on the lift to get it open, there was no update whatsoever, it was extremely anxiety inducing. Also, the lift jerked and dropped a little before it could get open. There was no warning, which was even more distressing. I really wanted to like my stay here. Honestly, the building is beautiful and the staff are great. Even down to the cleaning staff, they were so so nice. But i guess their good service cant make up for the shortfall of how poorly maintained the place is. Update: the staff told me that a manager would get back to me about this incident. I waited another 3 hrs and there was nothing. Then i headed down and the manager had just arrived. The manager (his name was Manuel) was really unempathetic. He said he had just arrived and the lift is working fine with no complaints from other guests. It was really unpleasant to have such a traumatic experience dismissed like that. There was no attempt on his end to understand what happened or how it felt. I’ve seen other reviews saying the service was bad, i guess i understand why now.

DON'T STAY HERE! My family and I were treated like garbage at St. Pancras Renaissance and I stayed here more than 3 times in 6 months! I spent at every area in this hotel. But if you're not their kind of "people" .... expect to be ignored, rude and condescending behavior. I have correspondence from the hotel to prove it. I wanted to write a thorough review but became angry every time I sat down to write it. But I want this to be helpful so I'll just keep it to a few points. I am a loyalty program Marriott traveler and I travel at the top level. This is important because: - Hotel is run down and they don't care - AC erupted in our room, water coming down - They do not treat with respect or manners unless you “look” a certain way - Anyone can enter hotel as it’s connected to the trains, makes it dangerous - Food seems to be less than fresh (rumors is that they reuse breakfast items on their buffet that they sell the day before) - Terrible food with poor cuts of meat - I spent money on all levels at this hotel but they continue to put airs - I have talked to Marriott and the hotel on deaf ears I have a lot of email correspondence to back up what I'm staying. I offered to talk to them while in London about problems but they refused. Camel that broke the straws back was when I asked for a cab. Blond security personnel in front of the hotel (name is Gosha) snapped at me (contemplating uploading her picture) When I went inside to complain, she had a male security guard tail us. Unbelievable! He matter of factly offered me accommodation for the walk up rate of something over 300 pounds and said that, after paying it, I would still be welcome to sit up all night in the lobby. Whether he was being sarcastic or simply obtuse I have no idea. I left And sat all night At the st. pancreas International Station. With the door of the station open in february, it was Very cold, a bit dangerous and generally quite unpleasant. Still, I was able to catch the subway in the morning and my flight home to the United states. No. I wasn't about to spend 60+ pounds per hour for accommodation. And no, the front desk clerk was not required to let me sit for a few hours in the lobby. But then, I'm permitted to give the hotel a two-star review. In my opinion, they earned it. Anyone could have been caught in that situation. In any case, let me at least thank the hotel for getting me that much closer to 500 reviews. But here's a Question: am I being sarcastic or obtuse?

The best thing about this hotel is the history and location. Beyond that, it isn't worth the time or the pricepoint. The rooms are antiquated in terms of modern standards and small. The staff at the desk and doors can be a bit judgemental and in my opinion make assumptions of guests before knowing whom they maybe. However, the executive club is nice and that staff is quite pleasant and most accommodating. The room itself...stayed in a disability access room. The emergency pull cord over the bed was cut and could not be used by a guest in an emergency, the corner of the rooms molding is cracked and showing signs of being unkept. The emergency pull cord in the bathroom was knotted up also making it unlikely to be of use in an emergency. The pitch of the floor was poorly graded causing the bathroom to almost flood when the shower is in use. In my opinion this hotel is living on its reputation of yesteryear and isn't worthy of the pricepoint they command. Perhaps the message is that disabled persons are not as valued as others. Who knows....

We was offended more than once by staff and one of the times was really bad. The rooms are the same as a holiday express, internet was horriable and the TV would not stay on and it's a 5 star hotel in a historical building. Had a terrible experience where hotel employees entered my room while I was asleep, falsely claiming that I had had the "do not disturb" sign on my door for three consecutive days. This was untrue, and I could easily prove it. I reached out to the front desk to complain during my stay, and my complaint was never responded to. When I emailed their customer service after I had checked out, the employee claimed once again that they had done nothing wrong despite my evidence to the contrary. Overall, the employees are extremely unprofessional and ignore concerns about how they do business. I will never be staying here again.

I'd like to rate this higher, but frigid rooms, quite a bit of wear, a rubbish-stinking guest staircase, just-ran-out mulled wine/treats offerings, and a bifurcated room setup (the standard rooms are in a different - and notably less impressive - section than the neo-gothic versions you likely anticipate) resulted in too many disappointments to warrant it. Rooms are standard Marriott, which isn't bad, but given the price (yes it's London) and the glossy website pics one might be let down. Service was decent - the staff tried hard to rectify HVAC failures, but at some point you just want to be warm - and Hakan and Aaron in the Chambers Club went out of their way to show real hospitality, which was appreciated. Location is pretty good, with transport links that can get you anywhere in the city relatively quickly, and there's something to be said for being able to walk out of your hotel into St Pancras station. Overall, though, it felt a bit like the experience didn't meet the stated price. Very pleased to have tried it after walking past scores of times, but likely will stay somewhere else next time at these rates.

Stayed one night in order to catch the Eurostar easily the next morning at St. Pancras Station next door. The convenience to train and tube lines couldn't be better. I needed some help with luggage, and staff went out of their way to make that work. My room was comfortable but unremarkable and had a close-up view of the train station roof. Breakfast was very good in the charmingly historic Booking Office, but I regretted that the hotel no longer has an upscale dining venue for dinner. The front desk "no cash" policy made it difficult to change larger bills in order to tip staff appropriately. The neighborhood is great, especially with the British Library just around the corner. All in all, this is a very convenient hotel for many purposes in an historic edifice of a building but expect to pay for the location and historic environment more than for first-class amenities.

In a previous trip to London, we got to walk outside and inside the lobby of this hotel near Kings Cross station and I wanted to stay here when we returned. So here we are attending a family wedding and had the opportunity to stay here and we have. It completely lived up to its billing. The rooms are spacious and beds really comfortable, Bathrooms had places for all our toiletries etc. The shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. The two restaurants were great. The Hansom in the lobby was nice. Skylit and bright and a nice selection of light food fare to satisfy us. The Booking Office is fashioned after an old railway booking office to complement the theme of being attached to Kings Cross station. We had only one significant hiccup. We were flying from Calgary and knew that we would arrive in London in late morning but would be 3 AM our time and we would all be tired. I contacted the hotel and requested early check in several days before. we arrived at 1 PM, 2 hours before the regular 3 PM check in. One room was ready but the other was not. Regretfully, the other room was not ready for another 5 hours and we did not get into the room until 6 PM and we were exhausted. Because it was Christmas Day, there were no restaurants open nearby and the one in the hotel had shut down so we were tired and hungry and just went to bed. Our check in experience was not a good one but all went well after that. Would have liked a complimentary something as an apology but we did not.

We have stayed repeatedly at the St. Pancras Renaissance every time we have come to London - by now seven or eight visits - and we will continue to come back. The hotel has a magnificent setting, and rooms are beautiful - the larger ones are sumptuous. There is an additional advantage of close proximity to the King's Cross - St. Pancras tube station. which has service from many of the lines - you can get anywhere is greater London with ease. We recommend it for anyone who is not on a budget. But be aware that the pandemic has prompted some cutbacks in the previous 5-star service. The fine dining restaurant, The Gilbert Scott, is closed. They have done away with their concierge desk, so you have less help with your tourist needs and with local recommendations. The hotel has adopted a no-cash policy, so if you want to change bills to leave tips, you have to go to banks on Tottenham Court Road - a 20 to 25 minute walk away. Room service seems a bit overworked and understaffed. But there is still excellent daily housekeeping, laundry service is perfect, bell service is prompt and heads-up, and the front desk is unfailingly helpful and kind. By all means stay here, but don't expect a true 5-star experience.

We had stayed at The Renaissance sometime ago and were looking forward to a return visit. Our disappointment started immediately we walked up the footpath. This was strewn with litter. This may not be Renaissance litter but as its on their steps and surrounding area this should be cleaned regularly. There was not a doorman present until we got into the building having negotiated the steps with our luggage. The entrance hall is a beautiful part of this ancient building but the entrance carpet has huge stains on it. Check in did not improve things. It was either swap over time or new staff being trained. Either way we waited a while and there were very few people waiting to register. Our room was as expected. Large and spacious. Lots of multi use plugs. However the TV kept going off and on the whole evening and eventually we switched it off completely. The morning did not improve. The bathroom lights would not work and after ringing customer service 3 times and no one answering they eventually called us back and sent an electrician. Apparently a trip switch had clicked off outside our room. The bathroom floor had two cracked tiles and mould around the shower end of the bath. The rubber seal on the shower door and the hinges all need a good clean. We decided to have breakfast in the dining room as it is such a glorious room. My husband ordered Eggs Benedict and this was a disappointment. The eggs were cold and overcooked. The bun was hardly toasted and i think the ham had been taken straight out of the fridge. The waitress took this off our bill. As we left no one offered to carry our luggage down the steps. We would like to think that this was a one off but sadly will not be returning.

Very average over priced stay. Booked one night as my sister & I were in town for the night to go the theatre and I wanted somewhere convenient as we both travel in to St Pancras. As everyone knows the building is gorgeous and I’ve always wanted to stay here having been to the bar a few times for drinks. Arrived early so went to the bar to have a drink whilst we waited for check in. Service was very slow despite it not being busy the waiter forgot my order so had to come back and check what I wanted. Checked in and was told my bag would be sent to they room, waited 45 minutes & still no bag. Called guest services twice to find out where it was and was told they would call the porter and have it sent up. When I asked how long they couldn’t tell me. I said I needed it urgently as I needed to get ready to leave for our pre theatre dinner reservation and could someone call me back. No call received so I went to reception to find my bag was still there. Useless customer service and not a nice start to my stay as I was stressed and rushing to get ready to leave in time. Twin room average - decent size & comfy beds but pretty dated & basic. Late night room service very limited. Tried to order something at 11pm, online ordering service was not working (probably because the hotel WiFi was terrible) so I called guest services. All they had was a couple of pizza options and a burger. Nothing healthy at all! A few sandwich or small snack options would have been nice. Overall very underwhelming and not what I’d expect from a 4 star hotel. You are clearly paying for the location and that’s it. Would not stay again at these prices. Simply not worth the money & staff pretty useless.

My daughter wanted to try it here and as we often do spa breaks I used points to pay for one night. A double room was booked as that is all you can choose and I requested twin beds. On arrival we spoke to a lovely lady from Madrid who was charming but explained at 12.00 our room was not ready but said it shouldn't be long and she would call us. I noticed when we were having afternoon tea she finished her shift but expected somebody would call - they never did and at 5.30 we approached the desk and spoke to Aricia who needs some customer service training. She said you have booked a double and proceeded to explain to me what a Queen size bed was - I am 53 and am well aware of bed sizes!! She eventually swapped a booking over and told us we could have a twin room but when we got there somebody else's luggage was in it - we were horrified that that guests belongings were treated so badly we could easily have rifled through stolen stuff etc so we shot down to reception to find our luggage as we did not trust it to be left after that. The afternoon tea was enjoyable even though we were surprised the Hansom bar is actually in the middle of the foyer - I did expect a much grander check in area but it all blurs into one. No refills on the sandwiches which was a shame as we just wanted to finish on our favourite one the ham. Service was quite slow but not a problem as we just relaxed into it but if you were on a time scale it could be stressful. We then went to the spa at 2.30 and were disappointed by this, very small pool and not many chairs to relax in but it was the changing room which was the worst - a tiny area by the lockers to change and there were so many people I had to stand by the sinks in front of the toilets to change. In the actual pool a group of ladies on a hen party were drinking cocktail cans and a member of staff was laughing and joking with them although when we spoke to the manageress she said it was difficult to stop this - I have never seen this before and it did not make for a relaxing experience quite raucous and they were not hotel guests which maybe it should only be. The treatments I booked for 4pm but I had received a call from the spa several weeks before saying could we come in at 3.30pm to help them out as they were busy and I said fine - you guessed it we sat there at 3.30pm til 4pm and were told we were 4pm!! The massages were pretty basic and I guess it depends on who you get, my daughters therapist sounded a bit better than mine. There was no room in the relaxation area for us to relax in so we sat in a corridor. We had dinner at the Booking office which was ok, a big group next to us were not happy and their complaining didn't make for a nice ambience - the steak we had was good although online we had chosen gnocci but that was the only thing not on the menu sadly. Even using points to pay for the stay (which I always feel makes you get a lesser service) I spent over £500 here and am not sure I would bother again. The one person who stands out in our memory was Benjamin the bellhop who was such a lovely guy, helpful and kind and showed us where to go and is a credit to the hotel.

No clean, fresh air exists in this hotel; there is a constant smell of stale food throughout the building. Windows don’t open and there is no alternative ventilation. I was attending an AGM with 20 others and we ate in a small function room on the first floor. On arrival at the conference room no staff were evident and the room was clearly not prepped and ready. When food was eventually served, it was inedible. First course a small slab of smoked salmon with a very odd flavour. I couldn’t eat it. The main course was a small chicken breast fillet with a couple of small breaded balls which I couldn’t identify, along with so e chinese vegetables and chicken gravy. It was all truly awful. Breakfast wasn’t too bad but there was no refrigeration. The yoghurt tasted on the turn and the very sweet overnight oats were struggling. Continental meats were on plates without coverings or refrigeration. Coffee was tasteless and bitter. Thankfully my room was paid for by others but it really wasn’t worth the £400 which was charged for the one night.

After around 15 different attempts to get a simple answer from this place I decided to get a train to St.Pancras to see if actual staff existed. Guest services seem very well protected as reception seems to want to deal with things so I think I am right “ guest services don’t exist”. That said I did get a reply from the Director of Operations. ( or something like that) apologising with the textbook scripted answers about how they strive to meet our expectations. What I want to know is why despite several emails, messages via Facebook and phone calls promising a call back that NOBODY calls back or can be bothered to take the time to write a very simple answer to my booking query. I have no doubt this is a nice place but from where I am standing I think they clearly don’t need custom right now. I asked for Complimentary breakfast to pay for the hassle and train fare to see if staff exist but this is not the way to run a business. If anyone had the decency or manners to answer me within a reasonable time ( 24 hours) then this could have been avoided. If “ being busy” is an excuse then something is clearly wrong.
