Has the basics and location is good. However the rooms are very small and there are some simple things that need addressing. Lack of iron and places to hang more than two shirts or jackets. Showers are showing signs of age with mould around all edges There is no where to hang towels in bathroom. General paint and condition of walls leaves a lot to be desired there’s a lack of general maintenance about the rooms. Rooms are not bad a little noise from the road but that’s to be expected. We had the hotwater not work on one night. It’s really a 2.9 start hotel at best. It might get up to 3.5 if did some maintenance and added the basics. Wouldn’t stay again.

Room was clean but super tiny , can’t even move freely if you have 1 luggage. Super noisy as you could hear the other rooms plus nearby hospital ambulance sirens all night. Location good near tube station. Although modern need revamp, floor is damaged and mold in corners. Odd breakfast offered 1 hot plate and a super basic buffet in one table. No options, one type of coffee etc. Overpriced hotel for what they offer.

A hotel with a good location, very close to the train station, subway station and bus. The room decoration is good and the size is acceptable. One thing to note is that the sound insulation is very poor. Loud vehicles on the road will be heard, and people talking in the corridor can also be heard. If you are a light sleeper and are affected by sound, you need to wear earplugs to fall asleep.

I stayed in Euston Square Hotel "windowless room" for a week and here is my genuine honest review. If this is all you read then please, book elsewhere and not here. Things I liked: -vicinity to train station -the shower is big Things I didn't like: -room card door-scanner was not working, so we had to download an app to get in to our rooms. Unprofessional and not a great first impression. -the rooms are EXTREMELY small... Can not even leave one backpack or suitcase out as there really is NO room and, surprisingly also, NO wardrobe. Getting ready in the morning is a complete hassle with lack of space. -the light switches in the rooms are ONLY on one end at the door, and NONE in the bathroom. To go to the bathroom at night; you need to first go to the entry door, turn on light, pee, walk to entry door to turn off light then go back to bed. What a absolutely atrocious design! -the room kettle is placed where there is NO POWERPOINT. Users are forced to plug it in their bedside table, or tiny, tiny desk in room. -Room phone was not working (no dial tone, no pickup) to dial reception, OR restaurant as indicated in check in, on ipad module and in room. -there is a fan directly above the bed which constantly draws air, and is VERY LOUD. I am not even a sensitive sleeper and I could not sleep with this on (and no, you can't turn it off...) -reception can not be contacted on the in-room ipad (no reply despite multiple attempts late at night). -the lift is extremely poorly maintained. The floor lights don't work (so when you press the button, you aren't to know whether the lift is on its way or not). There is NO maintenance badge present and I heavily suspect that no annual or preventative maintenance has been performed due to lack thereof and it's state of use (duct tape? No lights? Seriously!) -the bathroom constantly smells moist due to poor ventilation "windowless room". -mirror in the bathroom is on the rear wall, perpendicular to sink. If you want to brush teeth or do makeup, you have to sit on the toilet or be away from sink. Again, absolutely abysmal layout. If you're looking to stay here - please reconsider. I wish I stayed somewhere else.

Lovely Hotel. Nice clean rooms and nice friendly staff. Only issue was I stayed with my son in a twin room but the bathroom wasn't very private enough. The beds are situated directly in front of the bathroom which have glass panels. The panels in the middle are frosted, but the below one, when you're lying on the bed you can see whoever is on the loo. It's not good. That really needs to be addressed Other than that we had a lovely stay

Hands down I’ve never been in a better 3 star Hotel in London. It’s been absolutely great, such lovely staff, super clean rooms with spacious shower. I had also breakfast included which was a la card + plus buffet - it was delicious! Definitely recommend as it’s sooo hard to something like this ❤️

Really a 2 star hotel (old hotel renovated to appear new), quite worn off and too basic. Price/quality okay. Would not necessarily recommend purely based on quality + Location very good with good connections + Nice shower, friendly staff + Outside peak times can be affordable - Worn off amenities, cheap beds (double beds are also only 1.40m wide) - 'Reception' is just a table in the room and not equipped adequately: phone chargers? No. Umbrellas? No. Second room card? Come back tomorrow - Moldy shower, broken sliding door and far too few trays or shelfs to store items - No place to store luggage, only one chair in the room to sit down

Good central location which I give it credit, however for the price that was paid and service did not quite align. Firstly the check in process was long and heavy admin required on the visitors. This should be seamless and having to download a room key, prevents that smooth process, along with filling paperwork if that was already submitted on the online booking. The room was arctic cold and when heating was adjusted which isn't the most intuitive system it suddenly became too hot in the room. The bathroom was nice and modern, however again the room service staff unfortunately was not the most helpful and professional.Thanks

Honestly 10/10 experience, the restaurant was so delicious and the dishes were very good and filling , katherine was such a sweetheart and was such an amazing waitress loved her and she so welcoming as well and the reception were also very kind too and everything went smoothly we also got our rooms as soon as we arrived ( even though we arrived before check in time ) and the rooms were very simple and nice and clean and the bathroom was my favorite part of the room it was so elegant and stylish and spacious , would definitely recommend this especially for the people that are catching a train at euston station it’s literally just a 5 mins walk

5* Hostel, 1* Hotel.... Room too small even to move around, bed WAY too small for 2 adults (135cmx190cm), our room was in the basement, so additional "rat" feeling added to the stay. But hey! No bedbugs and bed and shower was clean. Too expensive for what you get.

Breakfast service was the only reason that I will not book this place next time most likely as it supposed to be really 7:00, finally once I came down 7:12 I was told that it’s still not ready so I had to leave that place hungry due to very tough agenda with cup of coffee in hand that actually cost me full breakfast service. Only this was disappointing - place itself is very nice and if You are looking for a hotel in Central London - it’s worth to consider.

It's 3:16 am and it's impossible to think about rest or sleeping in this hotel, which is already very, very noisy due to street noise and other sources. Although no one lives in the next room, someone has obviously been showering there for an hour, and the neighbor's tap is obviously about 1 meter next to my ear, which is tired from hiking. I already mentioned that apparently no one lives there...?

I specially booked a superior double room, which has enough space. This room type only has one room on the basement floor and the fourth floor. We had booked a room more than 3 months ago and stated that we wanted a quiet room on a high floor. But now we cannot arrange a room on the street, so it is very noisy at night. In addition, the sound insulation is poor, and other rooms are noisy when they are closed, making it difficult to sleep. So I won’t choose it again next time😫.

I will rate this hotel after experiencing it 7 times over 3 months. The hotel enjoys a prime location and great prices, but I have many incidents with it. On 13-4-2024, the alarm rang annoyingly at 3 in the morning for half an hour, and the residents were not informed why or apologized to. During one of my visits at the beginning of June of the same year, the weather was very hot in London, and the air conditioner made a disturbing noise. After informing the reception, they very coldly told me to turn off the air conditioner, and I wouldn't hear the noise! In my last visit, which will never happen again, after receiving the room, I found out it had no fridge. After asking the reception, they told me I was unlucky and that not all rooms have a fridge!! This is a hotel where at least it should have a fridge!! In addition, the water faucet was annoying and leaking water from everywhere. The last experience was a complete failure, and problem-solving in this hotel is very poor.

We (my husband and I) spent two days in London and one night in this hotel. It's a really nice hotel with a great location and a direct connection to the train station. For example, it's only a 20-25 minute walk to platform 9 3/4 at Kings Cross Station. We had room 1, at first impression the room was really perfect, we immediately felt comfortable and everything was very clean. What is noticeable is that the rooms on the left side have windows facing the street, which is directly in front of it. and is heavily trafficked. You hear everything. Since we did a lot, we were very tired and didn't notice anything. However, I wanted to mention that. You can charge your cell phone via USB, and the beds are large and soft. I can't say anything about breakfast because we didn't book that.

Really terrible hotel. Can’t believe e the prices they charge and the rooms they offer. We paid £580 for two nights for a tiny double room. The floorboards (which were plastic) were ripped and damaged in our room and there was a bad draft from the window beside the bed. Typical London really where photos make it look good but when you arrive it’s something very different. Massively overpriced and wouldn’t recommend.

Super. When we return to London we will book at this hotel again. We had a room with 2 twin beds. Good location, a few meters from a metro stop (with some lines) and within walking distance of Euston Station (more lines). Well insulated, you don't hear the traffic. Only sirens, but we didn't hear them at night. The room was on the smaller side, but had everything you needed. The room was clean and the beds were made and towels replaced. The sink could be a little bigger because it wouldn't fit so many things. There are some hangers for clothes but no wardrobe. The rain shower was spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. You have sockets with USB outputs for charging. We were able to check in a little earlier because the room had already been cleaned when we arrived. When we had to check out, we could leave our suitcases in a locked room. Our suitcases were tagged with a number so that the staff knew whose luggage it belonged to. This way, someone can't accidentally go home with your suitcase.

This hotel has a lot of promise but is sadly let down by a lot. The key attraction is obviously the attraction, it's a very convenient spot dbd and the team were nice enough to deal with during my visit. The rooms are mostly quite small which I don't mind as it's central London and the space is used well. Sadly there are a few big let down ls, firstly in my room there was a strange smell coming from the shower, probably the pipes. There's a cool tablet to operate the TV and many other hotels features which is genuinely impressive, however none of the channels had signal. Lastly the bed is pretty average and the pillows are some of the worst I've seen in a hotel in ages. I would stay again if I was in a pinch but that's it.

Good service, rooms and location. I did a late night check-in after booking from the train on my way to London. I got a nice small Cabin for one, with a decent bed and a large shower. I had trouble with the safe, but the receptionist came to my room right away and fixed it.

A bit on the expensive side if you ask me. The smallest double room I have ever encountered. You had to go outside to change your mind. The location is great and the staff are friendly. A 'misunderstanding' at breakfast led to us being charged £37 for breakfast. When challenged we got excuses before they accepted their error. We will not be staying again.

Terrible customer Service. I have COVID and tried to postpone OVER 24HRS before my booking. Guaranteed this was originally a non refundable one, however it would be irresponsible of me to come and stay when I have COVID and spread to other guests. I spoke to two people in reservations and they refused to change the booking even though they had already received my money. I believe they pretended that the manager, Mohammed, was in a meeting when I asked to speak with him and told me to go through the 3rd party booking company instead, which I did. The hotel refused them too! However Agoda did understand and kindly offered the refund from their side. What made it worse, was that the hotel staff didn't even offer any words of sympathy for my illness when they could clearly hear me coughing and sneezing. The hotel website information says they put customers at the centre- they don't! Do not give your money to this hotel- there are plenty of great hotels close by.

Having been staying in the attached hotel fir the last 20 weeks (2 nights a week) the staff could not have been better. Very friendly, attentive and professional, nothing too much trouble. So travelling to Aldgate and was heading to rut in square seen next door a new place is never seen piped in for a wine and bit of food where do I start fabulous all staff was amazing helpful wine glasses clean and wine was outstanding food was on another level also you can see the kitchen it’s spotless!! Called in here before catching our train from Euston. Is a few minutes walk, turn right on main road, next to underground steps. Only had an hour so asked if it was possible for a quick meal. The staff could not have been more helpful, suggested what would be quick and rushed the order. I had a pasta meal which was delicious. Reasonable prices as well. There was a set 2 or 3 course menu which looked good and would have had if more time. Will certainly use here again before catching a train.

Loads of gluten free options plus adaptations possible on non gluten free dishes. Gluten free desserts available too - not just ice cream and sorbet but a bake well tart and brownie. Friendly waiting staff, nice atmosphere. Reasonably priced and a varied non gluten free menu.

Great location, proper pub downstairs with wonderful service, and the room was excellent. Very walkable to multiple train stations that can get you anywhere in London or broader UK. Add in that they're an Everton pub and 😊❤️

Why does it smell like the toilets in the whole pub? Pretty rough. Want it to be better as it’s our neighborhood spot but we end up walking further afield to better run spots.
