Very nice experience, tasty, thank you to Nazmul for nice service

Poor service! I've eaten at various different ivys and this was by far the worse experience. Feels like the venue itself needs some sprucing up and the staff seemed under trained and not confident. We ordered a decaf tea and coffee with our breakfast which didn't arrive and then I was told they don't do decaf tea. Also offered water which never arrived. Breakfast portions have become smaller and quality of food not as good. We had the breakfast offer which is good value but I can't eat certain fruit so asked if I could have the green juice without apple which they couldn't do, so asked if I could swap for a tomato juice which they also didn't want to do. Zero customer care. This ivy has gone down hill

Good food and good service! Busy but got seated quickly in a comfortable both. The traditional Sunday roast and Shepherds pie was ordered by my party and it was delicious! NiceTea and delicious chocolate bomb for dessert. Thanks nazmul.

Wonderful place for a meal, lovely decor and the service was fantastic, we were served by Kate and Arnold and they were brilliant.

Atmosphere and service always great at The Ivy. Especially Arnold. Be looked after our table very well and even brought candle/cake as we were celebrating a birthday.

Haythem was our server and was so excellent!! Great place!

Big thanks to Kate for a great night with the greatest service. We came in with high expectations but they were surpassed by the attentive support of our phenomenal waiter Kate. The food is great, the service is brilliant, but when is Kate working is what we'll be asking ourselves as we walk out.

Food was amazing, especially the apple tart with calvados! Dheeraj went above and beyond with the service. Marked down for the atmosphere because the music was so loud, and with the surrounding conversation we ended up yelling at each other to be heard!

The food and ambience were too good. Arnold looked after us. We will back soon.

I was drawn in by the atmosphere of this restaurant and from entry to exit had the most lovely dining experience. I’m celiac and vegetarian and they had SO many options for me! They were utterly wonderful, attentive, and made sure I had a great experience all around. The food was excellent. I so appreciate this entire staff and restaurant for taking such good care of your patrons!! I’ll be back next time I’m visiting London :)

Having a birthday dinner with my friend, we had a great experience of the food and the service, a big shout out of DHEERAJ who served our table and treat us nicely and he cared all the details and offering a great dinning experience to us.

We had a wonderful time, with a good little brown which was delicious. our server Haythem was really pleasant, smiling, welcoming with a nice accent when he spoke in French. I recommend this restaurant with my eyes closed. its London charm on the outside and its flowery decor inside, everything is perfect and pleasant. they even pay attention to allergens

Fantastic brunch on a weekend. Ordered the salmon eggs benedict which was really one of the best I've ever had! Really well looked after by Dheeraj who provided an excellent service. Looking forward to come again.

Really enjoyed breakfast here with a friend visiting from out of the country. Lovely atmosphere and location. Solid breakfast menu with the classics you’d expect. I ordered the avocado toast with roasted tomato, and the sprinkling of pomegranate seeds on it was an unexpected delightful twist. Our server Haythem took great care of us.

Went with a vegan friend. We walked around and this was literally the third restaurant we went to. Thay actually had vegan food, and a good variety. The other vegan restaurant we first tried had run out of food.

PLEASE NOTE: This is not a 1 star review about this site as a whole - I would never give this restaurant a 1 star review as this is actually a very fine site and I genuinely love attending this place every Saturday morning… This is a 1 star review about Alessandro the Restaurant Manager specifically… I have been a regular weekly guest at The Ivy for 2 years now (2-4 sites a week including The Ivy and The Ivy Asia) and each site has treated me so well, which is why I keep coming back! I have been to this site a few times for dinner, but decided that I wanted to make this my regular Saturday spot for breakfast and despite this review, I am glad I did - what a phenomenal Ivy restaurant! Anna (Assistant Restaurant Manager), Babette, Katie, Alessia, Kate and Shanti have all made me feel so welcomed and treated me so well - I cannot fault them, they have all been exemplary! But about 2 weeks ago when Alessandro was running the shift, firstly when I was outside he did not even acknowledge me with a greeting (“welcome back” or even a simple hello)… now having seen me here before numerous times and been aware that I was coming because he checked the bookings on OpenTable (which is what he told me), and because I am clearly listed on OpenTable as a regular/VIP, the fact that he would just look at me and walk straight past did not give me the best feeling at all… Things got worse though because even while I was sat down he did not extend a greeting - over the last 2 years I have come to expect a bit more from anyone in a senior position at The Ivy and that is because this is what I have been experiencing at other Ivy’s and other well established restaurant I have been attending… So then it came to Alessandro taking my order - now I have a very specific breakfast which I have eaten no matter which Ivy I have been to over the last 2 years and because I remove certain items and swap them for something else I never expect there to be an extra charge and there has never been an extra charge, but Alessandro was quick to tell me that he would have to charge me extra for a certain item - in previous weeks this had not been the case so I contested it of course, to which he adamantly said “they must have been making an exception, but I will be charging you extra”… I was really not happy with this and I explained that this is the breakfast that I have been enjoying at The Ivy’s and have never been charged extra before, so I recommended that he not charge me and speak with his General Manager about the situation because why should anything be different for me here… Now the fact that I had to suggest this to Alessandro, the fact that it was something he didn’t think to do himself/was clearly not willing to do knowing that I am a regular customer and a friend of The Ivy, and coupled with his non-greeting and then eventually going on to actually get my order wrong because he was too focused on going behind the bar to message the whole team to make sure I am charged extra for this in future because he was in a huff, is why I am writing this… He basically implied to me that my loyalty to The Ivy means nothing to him, all this while I was just trying to explain that yes, everyone should be treated equally, but there are small things you do for regular customers to show them that you are going above and beyond because you value them and want to retain their custom, ultimately to show them that you care for and appreciate them… Alessandro did none of this while I was there, but he did prove that he is on top of things stock-wise, even at the expense of customer satisfaction - kudos to him because that’s what great hospitality is about! I love this site so much and I am so looking forward to many more Saturday morning breakfasts here - the team have such a great vibe, the food is always cooked to perfection and bar the Alessandro experience, I always leave here with a big ol’ smile on my face 😌🙂 Due to the fact that this breakfast discrepancy has still not been resolved in my favour, I will not be paying the service charge going forward!

Enjoyable early evening dinner on my way to get a train back home. Food excellent as ever for The Ivy collection chain, and the 1917 (£19.17) two course menu is great value and the Sassy cider (French) my drink of choice when visiting. Venkata was my waiter and along with the bar staff and Maitre’D where all very attentive and pleasant

Very solid experience. Sat at the bar a couple of times during a recent trip. Dinner was very buzzy with well made cocktail and decent food. Place was busy so took a while for main course and some confusion with what was brought out but overall things worked out. Went back a few days later for breakfast and it was much more mellow but still enjoyable.

The Ivys are a known quantity across London, but my favorite has to be Marylebone. Something about it -- the intimacy, its location near Marylebone High Street, I don't know -- but the food seems more composed, less rushed, the lunch crowd is always boisterous, but the restaurant is calm. Haythem, one of the regular servers, is always attentive, friendly, and "don't bother them" doesn't translate into "ignore." A place to relax and have a wonderful meal with friends.

Worth the visit. The service is outstanding. Our server Venkata was friendly, accommodating, and knew his stuff about the menu. All the staff including the greeter were so nice. Food was excellent. We got the fish and chips and shepards pie which were hits for the entire family. They were allergy friendly and family friendly. A little more high end than a pub but not stuffy.

The full English breakfast is delicious.

Went to The Ivy for an early dinner; the menu had a good variety of dishes to choose from and the waiting staff were very nice so overall it was fine except that the background music was really intrusive, so much so, that we had to talk quite loudly to be heard - otherwise, it was fine.
