I love the Ivy collection… this one is great too, but probably one of the busiest and smallest one… which makes it loud and less relaxing than other. We had to wait quite a bit to take our order but the staff was lovely.

Very rude waiter. You pay a lot to be humiliated and insulted because your waiter is having behaving like a child. Many other option are out there in London with more well mannered service for the same quality of food.

Very nice atmosphere, but the staff was catastrophic. My family and I had to order 5 times so that it arrived correctly in the kitchen. Also, ALL of the dishes on the menu had garlic in them, which wasn't very pleasant since my family and I are allergic to garlic. Food wasn't great either.

Booked for breakfast, one of the female waitresses brought the coffee, nearly threw it on the table spilling it. Didn't offer to clean it up. I had to ask for sugar and she never returned. Seemed to have a right attitude on her, anyone can have a bad day but this ruined our experience. Hence I refused to pay the service charge. Usually the Ivy is a great experience.

Squashed in a very small space between two very loud speakers each side of the table .. I know more than I need to about a company executives legal battle with his client .. tables are way too close together and it’s hard to enjoy any conversation Slow service and 13.5 percent service charge is ridiculous as certainly not attentive to customers and justifying “service charge “ Gluten free choice is limited .. vegan and vegetarian options are aplenty but actual needs are not being met Super location and the chap at the entrance is fabulous.. rest of the staff need training to be in service of their customers .. a waiter vigorously scrubbing a coat after spilling something on it .. truly embarrassing and not the response I would expect Glad it wasn’t my coat Overall good food but cramming in customers isn’t a good thing for me to make me want to return. Noting that so many other table spaces were not offered! Disappointed but

Thoroughly enjoyable experience and great quality food.

We arrived at 9pm with a last minute reservation and they took care of us. Venkata served us and he was kind , attentive and checked on us throughout the evening. We enjoyed our dinner and he acknowledged my friend’s 21st birthday and was lovely arranging celebration. Floor manager also did a wonderful job turning tables around and serving everything on time. Thank you for making our last minute evening, wonderful .

So bad it was laughable. Trying to take so many covers on a Friday morning that the staff simply cannot cope : 45 mins for a coffee, wrong food, wrong drinks (twice), wrong bill, didn’t even provide me with a plate(?). Used to really like coming here, but given you prioritise volume over service, I won’t come back.

My friend and I are from New York and we are visiting London for the very first time. Our cab driver mentioned The Ivy Marylbone and let us know that this is an amazing place to dine and have a good time. Visitors love it and the locals love it. Our waiter,Arnold,gave us the best experience that we’ve had thus far in London. thank you so much for your hospitality your attention to detail and for being our personal photographer. Checked the menus and booked via the Ivy site and when seated asked for the Taste of Autumn menu to be told that this menu was only available weekdays even though this was not stated on the site and still isn't. we left and will not be returning.

Excellent, we went as a family of 4 at 5:30pm Saturday for Wife's Birthday. Fairly noisey and lively as you'd expect for a Saturday afternoon but fantastic drinks, food and service - especially the Birthday surprise! Highly recommended.

The good: the food we ate was delicious. It's in a great location and the decor is handsome. Drinks were well made. The bad: service appears chaotic. Lots of rushing around looking very busy, but not really doing anything. Most staff are doing each others jobs, with the host and management removing empty plates from tables but not able to take an order when we asked. It took 25 minutes for us to place a food order, despite us being in a very prominent position within the restaurant and clearly invisible in plain sight. Customer service is really lacking. The ability to communicate effectively with diners. In addition, they really need to take better care of customers, watch tables, ask if we'd like another drink if they see an empty glass - don't just whip the empty one away without checking. Go for the food. It's very good. Don't go if you value service (and your time!).

A nice experience. The restaurant is clean and tidy, and the service is good. We ordered two types of breakfast, one of which contains pork. We asked for it to be removed from the English breakfast, and we ordered the vegetarian breakfast, which was delicious 👍🏻 and exact Tropican juice.

The staff are friendly and very attentive. Food was nice. Lunchtime noise too much; couldn't hear over restaurant chatter! If meeting someone you actually want to talk too, best avoid peak lunchtime!

Wonderful service from Venkata! Very polite and personable, made sure everything was perfect. The food was wonderful, portions are large and filling. There are many options, including vegetarian which they cater to amazingly, so there’s something for everyone to enjoy! The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy yet classy. Great dinner spot for a date night or the family. Definitely stop by if you get the chance! :)

I don't believe the recent highly rated reviews. I have dined in the Ivy in multiple locations over the years. Especially given that Richard Caring is planning to sell the Ivy collection for £1bn very soon, I'm beginning to be sceptical of these positive reviews as a way of inflating the value of the Ivy brand. So this review is not specific to the Ivy in Marylebone but to other branches as well. I would say ambience and service is okay-ish but definitely wasn't at par on how it used to be a while ago. However, the most significant decline of the Ivy is in quality of the food. It has lately been inedible and way overpriced. I tried all different dishes, even the lobster pasta and dessert - and the quality really disappointed me, I couldn't even finish one of the dishes because it was that bad. I could have gotten but much better food at many other lesser priced establishments like Cote, for example.

An excellent Ivy venue. It's a really lovely salon with great seating and decoration. The menu has something for every palate. We had lunch. Try the Haddock and Salmon fishcake.

Poor service! I've eaten at various different ivys and this was by far the worse experience. Feels like the venue itself needs some sprucing up and the staff seemed under trained and not confident. We ordered a decaf tea and coffee with our breakfast which didn't arrive and then I was told they don't do decaf tea. Also offered water which never arrived. Breakfast portions have become smaller and quality of food not as good. We had the breakfast offer which is good value but I can't eat certain fruit so asked if I could have the green juice without apple which they couldn't do, so asked if I could swap for a tomato juice which they also didn't want to do. Zero customer care. This ivy has gone down hill

Good food and good service! Busy but got seated quickly in a comfortable both. The traditional Sunday roast and Shepherds pie was ordered by my party and it was delicious! NiceTea and delicious chocolate bomb for dessert. Thanks nazmul.
