I will start off with the one negative thing about our visit. It was very hard to find the car park after a rather fraught car journey from London and I met the one not so helpful member of staff on reception who told me the car park was probably full anyway. We found the car par from her directions, it was far from full and from that point it was plus, plus plus for The George on our short stay. The breakfast was probably the best I had ever had in a hotel. Amazing choices, amazing helpful staff and 5 stars on that front.

Just had a fabulous dinner at the Royal Oak , great service, lovely dinner Ox cheek, and good beer, would recommend and if ever back in Ripon will go again .😃

5 Raglan StreetWe've been multiple times and never disappointed but this time was especially nice. Food spot on, staff was all lovely and even put a sparkler in the desert as we was there for a birthday.

Wetherby RoadApparently the chef went off sick. Fair enough, I know that things happen but to be told by a member of staff that they couldn’t contact anyone as they didn’t have any details was not true. I was asked for, and gave, my phone number when I booked so why make stuff up?

Castle Court, Market Squareavoid with all costs shocking food owners is beyond rude food was cold when it arrived and the girl who brought it (nikki) wasnt bothered hears alot bad things about the place and now i no why
