Best kebab house in Northampton, staff are always happy and friendly and make you feel welcome when you visit. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Our local Chippy at Upton was closed so thought we’d give this one a try. The cost of 2 distinctly average portion of fish chips and peas was over £21. Double what I’d have paid at Upton. Fish portions were tail pieces, so thin and overcooked in poor batter. Who wants skin on fish in this day and age? Won’t ever bother again and I suggest anyone reading this finds an alternative.

Can't understand the negative reviews. My wife and I have had several fish & chip meals from here and every one has been outstanding. Pricey? Well a bit more than the others but you get what you pay for.

Had fish and chips tonight 1/11/2021 Fish tasted of bleach .Chips all fatty! Cold by the time I got home . Only live round the corner. Waited far too long ,far better chip shops in the Duston area. Don’t bother! One young lad doesn’t know what he’s doing! The other hides in the back room. Don’t waste your time and money! Nothing more to say ! Main road chippy ten times better and cheaper! I have no idea what has happened to this chippy. We are regulars. Today I brought two doner kebabs. Absolutely disgusting. Not only does it look plastic, it tastes like plastic. There is no meat on it at all. The bread well is stone cold like it’s come out of the fridge and dry. Very disgusting and disappointed. I waited quite a while patiently for this too, so I’m shocked it’s cold. I live two minutes away so no reason to as why this would be so cold. I haven’t eaten it, I’ve binned it. If I could be bothered to take it back I would. It’s like they have changed hands. Can’t say anything about the chips ect as we only had the kebabs

Absolutely the best chippy in town ! Always friendly service with fresh food . Menu has a variety for everyone and standards are absolutely delicious. Welll done crispins team ! You have been our favourite for very long time ❤️

Love going here for the chicken kebabs, I live 6 miles away so I ring up and by the time I get there it's ready, The flat square bread is delicious and the salad is always fresh.

Ordered through 'Just Eat' The delivery more than doubled from that given when I ordered. When the food arrived it was appalling! I've honestly never had rubbish like it and especially for the price! The fish was dry like it had been kept warmed for ages. The scampi was about as far from fresh as can be, dry, dark and horrible. The onion rings were not a golden brown colour, they looked more that they were coated in some sort of sandy mud. I'd guess they'd been cooked more than once and left warming forever. The chips were almost OK considering everything ranged from cold to barely warm! Just Eat gave me a refund but Crispins Fish & Chips have to take this feedback on board if they wish to retain customers! I had food off them months ago and it was OK so I thought the order would be OK, it wasn't. I cannot imagine, unless they choose to explain, how they can recover from this mess and it's such a shame as I could have ordered elsewhere but wanted to support them based on my previous service which mirrored the other previous reviews

Great fish and chips, not greasy, crispy. Very nice. I'm going write an additional few words here as the app won't let me leave a review without 100 characters. 😂 Not much more I can say really!

Visited recently to treat us and friends to a takeaway hubby and I shared a Doner Meat & chips (portion size is just right for us to share) friends had Doner kebab and said the freshly made flat bread was so much nicer than the 'usual pitta bread' offered at most takeaways. The chips were freshly 'dunked' and seriously hot even by the time we drove home. The guys were so accommodating and offered us a small cone of freshly sliced doner meat to try while we waited. I love you can see everything being prepared and cooked in such a clean kitchen area. Prices seemed good too - the only thing to remember it's 'CASH ONLY' so don't forget to take your dosh for this ab fab takeaway meal. They even open every day - just check the daily time.
