I had the pleasure of dining at Sripur, and it was an outstanding experience. Ali and the team were warm and inviting, and the whole team were exceptionally welcoming, my experience was top-notch. The food was extremely tasty, particularly the chicken tikka Balti, obviously washed down with a Kingfisher. I highly recommend Sripur for anyone seeking a great Indian meal.

Great food and service . Restaurant was a little quiet so we were worried, but nothing to be concerned about, perhaps it was just a quiet night. I can vouch for the Lamb Rogan Josh and chicken tikka masala and naan bread. All the staff were amazing!

I was out with my family when I came across this restaurant was very impressed with the decor inside and it was an Indian restaurant so we decided to go in and give it a try. Being from an Indian origin I was well impressed with the Butter Chicken in had all the right spice and with rich creamy finish felt like I was back in India. We also ordered the Bengal Lamb Shank this dish was really good as the meat came of the bone and it was packed with flavour complement to the chef as we had the best Indian food away from home. If I'm back in London will definitely visit again

So I went inside the restaurant thinking it will be awesome but when I order it and it came after ages and we took a first bite I had to go hospital after that my doctor said I have food poisoning and so much more I’m thankful to the waiter that he didn’t try his best to kill me 🙁

so as i saw the restaurant i was happy but as soon as i ordered food and waited for it was awful thinking they taking there time so it will be tasty so i waited patiently for the food when the food came all i saw was 4 pieces of panner thats it and some roti as soon as i tasted the food i was crying my eyes out it was so hot and chilly and i had to leave to go to hospital and the doctor said i have food poisoning and it can get worse and the chilli affected my lungs badly now im in emergency its been 2 weeks and im not well

Chicken masala was very good and saag paneer, would strongly recommend. Ali gave us free baileys too, excellent service.

These guys were just doin WAY too much. They were upset about how I ordered and told me to put my phone away and watched me eat. When I started eating slower cause it was making me nervous they began to ask me if I was okay multiple times. Only redeeming factor is that this was the most amazing Indian food I’ve ever had in my life, granted it was a very controlling experience and after a day of traveling that was the last thing I wanted. The food is worth it but I would go when the staff has more things to do….

Visited Sripur Restaurant yesterday. This place is close to the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, and a few other attractions. It is also near the financial district. The restaurant is easily visible from the road, so it's not difficult to find. They have a quite decent menu with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian items, mostly North Indian à la carte options. The restaurant was very lightly staffed, decently sized, and could seat close to 50 people. Before COVID, the restaurant had been pretty busy, but with remote work still not in full swing, it’s almost empty during afternoons except on weekends. **The Food:** Since there was no one else in the restaurant, the food came on time and was served hot. We ordered garlic naan with some saag paneer, dal, and bhindi. All tasted good, except the portions were small, making it difficult for two people to share. We also had saffron rice, which was good for one person. Overall, I'm going to give it 3.5 stars since I couldn't find any South Indian entrées on the menu. Also, the information that you see in the menu is understandable, only for people from India or who know what it is as there is no description on what it contains or which one is vegetarian.

The staff were very experienced and lovely, the manager mokhtar was brilliant and his hosting skills were amazing. We felt very welcomed and the food was excellent too I believe it’s the new menu. Deffo recommend dining here and will most definitely be returning very soon.

Curry was very less in portion, we ordered paneer kofta there was paneer nowhere only mashed potato balls. Paneer tikka was without any vegetables that too without any chutney

We recently visited the UKVI office for my wife's ILR renewal and decided to have a meal at this nearby restaurant that serves Bangladeshi cuisine. We were all hungry and in high spirits, eager for a good dining experience. Unfortunately, our visit to this restaurant turned out to be extremely disappointing. We ordered Gusht Rogan Josh, Gusht Korma, garlic naan, plain naan, papadam, and chutney. The server informed us that the chutney would be an extra charge, to which we agreed. When the food arrived, the first thing we noticed was the Gusht Korma. It had a completely white, coconut-based gravy that did not resemble korma at all. It was intended for the kids, but it was too sweet and tasted nothing like any korma they had tried before. The Rogan Josh was even worse—bland, watery, and filled with large tomato pieces, lacking the authentic taste of Rogan Josh. We were particularly disappointed because we had chosen this restaurant over a nearby Lebanese place, relying on positive reviews. The final straw came when we received the bill. My wife noticed that we were charged for two chutneys, despite ordering only one. When we questioned this, instead of admitting and correcting the mistake (assuming it wasn't deliberate), the server justified the charge by claiming that because there were two adults, we were being charged double for the same chutney basket. I was stunned by this explanation. I have never encountered such unethical practices in the UK before. The audacity to charge twice for the same chutney was beyond belief. Overall, the experience was terrible: tasteless food, fraudulent billing, and shameless justification of unethical practices. Money aside, the sheer brazenness of this behaviour is unacceptable. I strongly recommend staying away from this restaurant!

Well, the food was delicious. I have to say that up front. We had the butter chicken and tikka Marsala - both were great. However, the service was very slow. The restaurant was not very full, and we waited almost an hour for any type of food. The server rolled his eyes at us when we placed our order and basically ignored us. Not sure why as we were very polite. I absolutely do not recommend.

Bad experience. Staff is not willing to help at all. After ordering second helping they were bother to place order again. Our helper told us to place order all at once because chef don’t want to be disturbed again and again. Never heard that before. Ordering more food disturb the chef really!!

Chicken tikka masala was 4 tiny pieces of chicken in unflavored sauce. Special fried rice was okay nothing special. Services and atmosphere is very pretentious for no reason. Also there is a minimum of 12.95 per person plus 12% discretionary service fee. Not worth the price.

Definitely not kid friendly! Service was rude and not accommodating. Made us feel like we weren't classy enough to be there. We ordered the Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masalla. We were unaware that rice didn't come with the meals, so we had to order it after our meals arrived. I've never been to an Indian restaurant that doesn't include rice with the meal. The food was okay. My main issue was the server when it came to paying the bill. He stood above me as I looked at the check. He asked cash or card, and I said I'll pay with cash if I have enough, if not, then card. We were heading back to Germany the next day, and I wanted to get rid of all our pounds. He stood there as I counted our money/change, and he got impatient and said, "How much do you have!?", and started reaching over to count it himself. We had enough to pay the bill. I even explained that I was sorry, I had to sort between the euros and pounds. He didn't care, he wanted us out of there. Never felt so belittled. Just to clarify, our children slept 90% of the time we were there, and when they woke up, they were sitting in their stroller quietly watching something on the tablet.

Excellent food. Not sure why its so underated when compared to other Indian restaurants in the neighborhood. Best Indian food I have tasted so far in the neighborhood!! Ordered their non-veg Thali surprisingly the Mumbai Aaloo that was served along was one of the best Aaloo dishes. Coming back for sure!!!!

I wanted vegetarian, but got meat

My supposed vegetarian order arrived full of meat!!! When I phoned to complain, was told there was nothing they could do, and that the meal I had ordered normally comes with meat, and so they sent them with lamb and chicken. Very disappointing. Would not recommend for vegetarians if that is the attitude.

The staff are friendly and the restaurant is cosy. However, the menu gives zero information as to what is and is not vegan. I asked the waiter what vegan curry he could recommend, and he ended-up bringing me a chicken & vegetable dish. He did then bring a vegetable curry replacement, but I have no confidence that anything served was actually vegan

I often go for Indian food and was disappointed as the food tasted very bland and the nan was dripping with grease. The service was reserved and neutral. I thought spending £25 on lunch (butter chicken with rice, 1 nan and a cup of tea with a tea bag) was too expensive.

Service is really bad. The man didn't want to give us tissue or plates for some reason. Had to ask for everything Bombay aloo is good btw And paneer kufta is just potatoes no paneer in it.

Went to this place with my family on Christmas Day. The food was very tasty and hot when arrive, kids really loved the food especially shaslik and butter chicken- best I have ever had better than what I had in India. The service was excellent even though the place was packed and people were queuing outside. Would definitely recommend this place and will visit again soon hopefully.

It's not a bad restaurant. Maybe they suffered the 'all closed' on Dec 25th, 2023. The starter, a kebab sausages, was really too dry. The main course was better. Appreciated the availability of personnel in a moment of crisis.

The waiters make you wait, to say the least. We were in the very middle of the restaurant and for more than half an hour, they have been walking around the table as if they did not saw us. To add to this, the food was barely decent.

Good ambient restaurant with very poor customer service. Very disappointing. There was not even one good staff who were polite, I really don’t understand why such an ambient restaurant in the middle of London with such bad customer service.Is it that difficult to recruit staffs with basic manners inside such big restaurant. The management should take this issue very seriously before its too late.

If I could give zero stars for this restaurant, I would. The customer service was very poor. We ordered their mixed platter, lamp curry, butter naan, lessi and some hot water. We waited for 30 minutes but the food never came. We were not even offered water. And when I asked for my food, the man was very rude and impolite and said us to wait for some more time. We left the restaurant without having food. Not only us, there were another customers who were leaving as well because nobody came to take their order waiting for 20 minutes unattended. We also felt racism shown to us being Indians. They where only interested in taking orders of white people.

Eran las 14 h y dudando en si nos darían de comer por lo tarde que es allí. Buscábamos cocina india porque en Londres se come muy mal y si aciertas con un buen local indio es lo más. Y aquí así fue. No había nadie y entramos con miedo por si nis decían que no. Pero nos dijeron que si y fueron rápidos en servirnos. Uno de los platos era muy picante y después de probarlo nos lo cambiaron sin problema. Nunca habíamos comido comida india y nos aconsejaron cantidad y platos. Todo estaba riquísimo. Lo aconsejo 100%. Precio normal de allí. Consejo! No pedir alcohol en Londres. Te pegan una clavada que ni sabes encajarla.

We were made to feel very welcome immediately upon arrival in this very pleasant restaurant. The service was uber efficient warm and friendly. When ordering, the dishes were explained in good detail which made our choices so much easier to make. The menu is easy to navigate including some recommendations from the chef. The food was very tasty with a variety of spice to cater for all tastes from mild to testingly hot. Reasonably priced good qualty dishes in a very clean environment and frindly atmosphere made our experience particularly enjoyable. Suffice it to say we will gladly return.

We chose to have lunch here on a Saturday afternoon. This Indian restaurant was the only one locally open for lunch, even so however we were the only ones in there! We didn’t mind this at all. The quality and taste of the food we ordered was fantastic, fresh and tasty. The hot dishes we ordered weren’t too hot (my wife even had some!) and we were also able to order off menu (chilli naan). Drinks were reasonable price for Central London. A very pleasant lunchtime experience. We will return soon, thank you!

We stayed in this general area for a few days and tried many of the restaurants for dinner. We had a green chili chicken masala, Chana masala, a beef dish and garlic nan bread. They had a nice wine selection. The food was excellent and the service was fantastic. We would highly recommend this place for an excellent Indian dinner.

We were there for lunch and we had veg thali, it was good and i like that. The problem is only that there is no parking available in front of restaurant.

Celkově špatný dojem byl hlavně kvůli obsluze, neměli snahu se na ničem domluvit. Přitom v pondělí večer tam skoro nikdo nebyl, takže čas měli. Jídlo pro dítě bylo ostré i pro dospělého. Cokoliv čekám od indické restaurace, tady se nesplnilo. Měli jsme tři jídla, dvě nebyla úplně podle očekávání. Obsluze jako vy vadilo, že jsme vůbec přišli.

Disappointed..!! We ordered mix starter, Veg biryani, Mango lassi, which was not worthy to the price. Veg starter has onion bhaji, which was stale. Food has loooooooooooot of oily, you cant even dare to eat it. Also, salt was missing in the food. At the end, we politely asked to remove service charges because we were not happy with the food and the service, and waiter told us to pay atleast 0.50p extra, which was not an issue actually but atleast they should have upgrade their food quality.

We walked in as had decided to try it simply because it was so close you our hotel (CitizenM) and was silly to go further afield or order in without trying 'the local'. And it was a really good decision as we will be back every time we stay. We gad a Goan prawn dish with pilau rice, the lamb biryani, and obviously naan and poppadoms. The level of heat is exactly as described, and at first bite the food seems a little restrained in its taste... but oh, no. What you have here is a poem of fragrance and flavour. Without question one of the best Indian meals I have had. The place is fairly nondescript in terms of decor, but the service is friendly and the food is as good if not better than some very expensive Indian restaurants I've been to that are obviously aiming for a 'fine dining' experience, The prices are excellent for London, with just over 60 quid for two including a couple of beers. Totally recommended. Note to Sripur - your Trip Advicor listing (as of 12/8/23) says you close at 3pm on Saturday which means we almost didn't go as we were looking for somewhere about 8pm.

Not an authentic Indian, as ordered for butter chicken and tandoori roti, garlic naan, as food come butter chicken portion was very small as price ok but taste and texture not good too sweet and runny gravy, and oily as well roti naan was ok they should work on recipes craving to have indian food but experience spoiled 😔

Enjoyed a very tasty curry here, best jalfrezi I’ve had for a long time. If you want a decent curry without all the fuss, I recommend here.

Great place to dine. Very relaxed. Dal Tarka and Chapathis were very good. The kids liked the Chicken Tikka. We also ordered the Veg Thali which was great.

Very upset with the place was having food and in the middle of my food I saw a rat running around among the tables that was too much unhygienic and discussing 😡😡😡😡
