Rajasthan III in City of London, Westminster

Este es un gran restaurante indio en la ciudad. He estado dos veces ahora y he disfrutado de ambas veces. Lo recomendaría encarecidamente para una buena comida y un gran servicio.

Will be truly honest here, food is no where to be called Rajasthani, all mediocre completely blend dishes, no Rajasthani spices and taste in the dishes at all. Servers push to place mains order at the same time as starters. Its a complete shame in the name of true Rajasthani food in London!! Would prefer to get food from a chip shop instead of eating in The Rajasthan-III

Visited on a pre-Christmas Thursday evening and the kitchen was clearly overwhelmed. Poppadoms came quickly but there was then a long period where no food was being served at all. When they came, some of the naan breads were uncooked in the middle. When we asked for a replacement, we were told the tandoori had been switched off (at 9:30 on a busy evening) although one naan eventually arrived. Portions were small, particularly rice. Expensive at £37 a head for one beer and main courses only.

Conseguí una mesa sin reserva en un viernes por la noche ocupado, que era genial. Camareros muy amables. Buena comida y buena relación calidad-precio para Londres. Sin duda volveremos de nuevo cuando sea el próximo en la zona.

Astonishing quality and value in the depths of big London. Staff courteous, polite and funny. Recommend in a heartbeat.

Oasis in the centre of the city, fantastic food as Always & the prices even better.The Rajasthan 3 Houndsditch Always recommend it been here for numbers years, this is the 2nd time in two weeks.

I was exploring the neighborhood when I stumbled upon the restaurant yesterday. A quick Google maps check told me it was 4.1 stars. That's definitely below what I usually pick but I was hungry and had a good feeling. I was definitely not disappointed. The staff was so nice and attentive. To be honest it's often the case in Indian restaurants. The food was really excellent. Fresh, tasty, and spicy as I like it. I had Lamb Rezalla which was right at the limit of the spicyness I can have - I knew what to expect as it was marked as hot 🔥 on the menu and you can eat as many or as little of the green chillies as you want. I picked a side of Saah Dall which was a perfect fit with the lamb. I had the best Indian food I ever had in my life yesterday. Thanks to the staff and the cook.

Excellent food again at Rajasthan, today I had Chicken Tika bhuna with boiled rice, very enjoyable and not too spicy accompanied with glass of white wine.

I can be quite fussy about a good curry esp coming from the north and having great curry houses on my door step. I’ve had them in London before and been quite critical. But this was superb. Sheish kebab was excellent. Bit of a kick to it. Got a chicken buhna and a garlic naan. Out of this world. Tender quality chicken. Lovely sauce and a great taste. Naan was fresh, soft and a little fluffy. Loads of butter and fresh garlic. V happy. Best curry I’ve had in ages

It has been a few years since I visited Raj3. Went there for lunch to catch up with a new business colleague. My memory did not play me false: the ambience, service and food were all as terrific as ever. It was such a pleasure to visit again and I am looking forward to returning.

Been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. Maj and his team always provide great service. I highly recommend the Chicken special - it is not on the menu but is available on request. Lamb shank is also really nice. Took my daughter here for the first time who normally has a korma - I asked Maj if he could make something different for her and the kitchen made her a chicken dish that she loved.

I keep coming back because the food is delicious, the service is excellent and the staff are so helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

Went for lunch and found the food portions are rather small. I've been to dinner at Rajasthan-I and I recall the portions being more generous. All being said the food was good as was the service.

Fantastic food and amazing flavours! The dishes we ordered were delicious - I had Fish Tikka for starters which was very tasty, followed by Machurian Chicken for the main course, which was also delicious. My friend had the lamb chops which they said tasted great! All-in-all, well worth a visit....Nice atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff makes for a great place to enjoy authentic Indian dishes!

Lovely, plentiful food. The staff are friendly and welcoming, attentive yet discreet. The atmosphere is just right for a relaxed lunchtime meal with friends. Overall, the standard is consistently high and, in spite of the London prices, I always look forward to and enjoy my four-monthly visit from Norfolk. Very handy for Liverpool Street station too.

It would appear that I did not enjoy the same experience as our fellow reviewers! I started with some vegetable samosas, which were dry and a salad which did not appear to be as fresh as it could have been. This was followed by a Lamb Shashlik; overcooked and therefore very tough lamb, undercooked Onions that were sliced way too thick, and a side dish of Rice which was ok. It also didn't help having waiters circling past me every 2-3 minutes while I ate. It was like they were on edge? An unpleasant experience overall.

I popped into this restaurant with a friend of mine to have a quick bite as it was cold outside. The waiter was rolling his eyes when we did not order any alcohol and when he was serving our food, was throwing plates on our table in a very rude manner. When we finished the meal, he brought our bill and while my friend and I were still having a chat, he came twice to our table in a very demonstrative manner to encourage us to pay and abandon our table. There were many empty tables so there was definitely no need to do that. We observed other tables and they were definitely not treated that way either. Food is not special but doable, but service is one of the worst I have experienced in this city. Avoid it especially if you are a female-only group.

How disrespectful that a company with a 5 star hygiene rating and semi decent reviews would dump their rubbish in a residential area in Barking called Greatfields. They drive past the dump to get here, they care so little they left invoices amongst the rubbish in the street and the chairs match those on the website! I am appalled by this behaviour and I hope anyone reading this review will be deterred from eating here. God knows what else they are willing to do.
