Square Pizza House in Watford

Non stop diarrhea second time now, first time I gave them the benefit of a doubt but both me and my friend who told me to order as he had just got one said it was cheap and nice have both been violently ill since ordering Friday definitely not a stomach bug as neither of us have been in physical contact in months, I ordered last year and all my family had been sick/toilet non stop avoid at all costs if you care for life !!

Ordered pepperoni passion thinking it was pepperoni and it wasn’t 😐

Give the pizza a miss go for Donner meat and chips with chilli sauce. Much better.

All I can taste is salt..I have placed an online order and the main item is the pizza. The hot pizza is meant to have chillis and peppers not a tomato base substituted for hot sauce. The pizza is not edible the stuffed crust cheese doesn't taste great either. Everything looks great but one bite and I know it's not right. I wish I didn't order the pizza. It's a waste of money. The burger seems ok.. also I didn't receive the free fries. Don't buy there pizza unless you like salt

Tried this place after they did the eat out to help out thing and been getting pizza from here ever since. Only ever had veggie and Margherita pizza but tbh we love it, tons of toppings and cheese compared to the big franchises. Quite heavy so go a size lower than you normally do if you're not a big eater. Good owner too, not a man of many words but always friendly. Many poor reviews from just eat orders, we always call ahead and never had a probem, guess technology really does disrupt everything in life!

Best pizza in watford! Have been going there for years really have no idea where negative reviews have come from. The pizzas we get are always delicious plus the man so so sweet! Really yummy pizza, trust me

got the burger with burger sauce no cheese no lettuce no nothing boring burger tasted microwaved not happy at all for the price

You claimed and changed the eta to suit you that couldn't find any drivers. Even the updated eta was not met and then after using the account credit from your shoddy offer to compensate for the disgusting service you provided last time, a driver finally shows up with 2 COLD Pizzas sporting Uber Eats uniform

Delivery driver wonderful, friendly and polite. Absolute amazing food from the restaurant and very generous portion sizes. Would definitely recommend and will be ordering from again.

Never been before and went for some post drinks pizza on the way home. It was edible but not particularly good. Pizza was undercooked and the dough had that greyish texture. Flour wasn't mixed in well and had lots of specks of undercooked flour over it. Good amount of toppings and they were decent quality but undercooked doughy consistency made it pretty poor.

Had very bad experience to me and my family when we takeaway our orders, The old man who is working as staff, behaving very rudely and doesn't keep basic manners, even to ladies. We feel such a shame to this pizza shop for keeping this kind of idiots as staffs. I would never suggest this shop to any of my friends or relatives,Also I will share them not to choose this shop for doing any orders.I will definitely post this experience in social media as well.

Amazing portion sized 13inch would fully fill 2 adults, the Square pizza was a nice touch 👌 10/10 Friendly on the phone and delivery person was very nice.

I had the best thin crust meat lovers pizza that I’ve experienced in a very long time. Stop in and have a bite. The place has a pretty good menu. Call ahead and make sure it’s open.

Messed up last time but they redeemed themselves! Back to being fantastic.

I’m not a pizza person.. this is different level pizza e😍.. I ordered Lamb doner pizza with extra tandoori chicken sprinkled with jalapeños… wow .. never had a pizza like this.. best pizza

Food was exceptionally hot but only 5 minutes up road but taste and quality was off the planet!!! Will be back for more without a doubt 👍👍

Great pizza! I've been ordering from hear for years and I always get the same outstanding pizza. A gem in Watford

The pizza was half vegetarian and half meat. A garlic pack had split and covered most of the vegetarian side. Didn't ask for or want it. The large bottle of diet coke was 2 months out of date. Driver would not return it. Tried to call restaurant several times but no answer. Not impressed.

The order was over an hour late and the restaurant would not pick up the phone. When it finally arrived late at night the driver pounded on the door of our (shared) home

Arrived unfit to eat - been dropped or chucked around in transit so was squashed into one corner of the box with the entire topping stuck to the lid of box. my previous order with Just ‘Not’ Eat didn’t turn up at all. For some reason I decided to give it another go - serves me right I suppose. Just drive to the restaurant and collect it yourself if you want a takeaway.

Orderd large chips they were small!

The pizza had a funny taste to it left an after taste couldn’t quiet put my finger on what it was tho. Also ordered large chips and literally got a handful .

You need to address the driver situation. Your drivers either eat the food or damage the food and I think its disgusting. Your driver damaged my pizza and you have denied all responsibility? How dare you? How dare you take people's money and give such a substandard service?

Again ridiculously bad service from JustEat. Not enough you have to wait 20 minutes or more before they find the driver, then you have guys going in the wrong direction, into the biggest traffic jams, and at the end, they look 10 minutes for your place even if the postcode takes right to your door. You pay a lot to have a nice warm meal but at the end, you get it JustCold and the disappointment.

Fantastic! Everything was perfect A little tip for the people who are ordering, to help the drivers once there near your home get your phone light and flash it 3 times. It makes it easier for the driver to see where you are. Hope it helps ☺️

Originally I wanted to go via UberEats as I know Square Pizza was only available from Just Eat for a time. I ordered some sauces and to my expectation, they weren't included. This has happened with almost every order when I used to order via Just Eat. Otherwise, the pizza's were fine.

Delivery men frequently get lost, because GPS sends them to the road I live on but not the exact location, this is why I note extra directions on the order but this isn't always relayed to them so they ring me and I struggle to direct them as they only speak basic English.

base was under cooked and tasted weird

Chicken wings and jalapeño cream cheese tasted like typical oven food. Delivery on time.

Can't read instructions. One simple request to leave order at door and delivery person ignored. Food was then cold upon delivery.

Honestly the best takeaway pizza I've had in a very long time! Chose the thin crust vegetarian pizza and it had lots of flavour and topped so many pizzas I've had in the past, definitely recommend, will order from here again :)

Good hearty pizza. A 10” is enough for one person. My meat feast was a bit salty but that just encouraged me to drink, which was no bad thing in this heat.

Ordered Portion of Chicken wings, supposed to be 8, only 2 wings the rest kinda looked like drumsticks.. but was mostly gristle hardly any meat.an no flavour

SO disappointed with this take away, they messed up my order last time on JustEat. I ended up with someone else's order. The manager rang me the next day to tell me I would get 2 free pizzas next time. I just rung them to arrange this and was let down by terrible customer service on the phone. I will never order from here ever again. It's such a shame as their pizza and food is always delicious and piping hot. But the service has let them down big time!

The guys at squre pizza are great; the delivery driver gave my pizza to someone else by mistake, but they made me another one and hand delivered it.

Received the wrong order of food, restaurant wouldn't answer the phone. Had to request a refund fir the food I ordered. Not happy at all with the service and will never order from these incompetent muppets again.

Pizza tastes like the base had not been cooked but the top was burnt. Called restaurant and complained and the guy refused to believe me saying the dough cannot be uncooked. Tasted worse than school pizzas we use to have. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Service and delivery were great... let down only by the food itself. Having seen all the other great reviews, I was left confused when we were eating our pizza. There is an 'odd' taste to the pizza, like a flavour you can't quite put your finger on... but it doesn't work. The texture is none too satisfactory either. We didn't finish the pizzas (which is rare for us). My partner says the chicken strips were good. My bbq wings didn't seem to be bbq, they were more like hot wings without the heat. And the onion rings were coated in a thick chewy batter... needed to be crispier.

The food is alright but they don't bother to read notes you just get whatever they make unfortunately they put a load of cheese in my burger which I asked for plain probably won't order again

Everything was perfect, only aggrievance was there was no complementary garlic and herb dip when there usually is and I would have ordered one had I known it was going to be missing.

Good and bad tbh. The toppings were really good but they put bloody cinnamon in the dough? Weirdest thing I have encountered from a pizza place and was not a fan. Anyway if you get the BBQ base I don't think they do this (or maybe I couldn't taste it over the BBQ sauce?). Could possibly be my favourite pizza place if they didn't do this cinnamon thing. Maybe some people are a fan of it but wish they would at least make it optional instead of making it the default.

Worst pizza I have ever had, cheese had an off taste, crust was inedible, both pizzas we ordered (margarita and pepperoni) tasted overly strong of cinnamon which was disgusting. Will not be returning.

I was extremely unhappy, I had to throw the food away unfortunately there was very strong taste/smell of chemicals/TCP on the food this is the first time ordering from here I wish I hadn't as now food was wasted.

Abdul was great, very helpful. Used fresh ingreidents, very tasty pizza and yummy will recommend to everyone in Watford. Abdul customised our pizza, he was very poilte and understanding, took the hassle out of ordering, he provided us a pizza with no garlic and onion in our pizza sauce. We are also vegetarian and he understood and respected our wishes. We definitely will be ordering from them again. Thank yo!!!
