If I was James Martin, I would remove my name. Ordered a spud with cheese and beens and a spud with butter beens and cottage cheese. 1st one was fine, 2nd had cottage cheese on, with butter in packets on the side. Then had to pay an extra £1:85 for quater tin of beens nuked. Why would anybody want butter on a spud, after fillings have been put on. Ended up having to scrape cottage cheese off, so I could butter it, then add my expensive beens. The staff seemed lazy, place was a mess, they were stood around on phones and talking while a pile of trays had been dumped above bin. Table areas absolutely disgusting. Wood knives couldn't cut into a milk, never mind spud skin. Would have been easier trying to cut butter with a baseball bat!

£9.05 for a jacket with chilli and cheese! They’d ran out of guacamole and salsa and the girl serving really didn’t want to be there.

Went there literally 10 minutes ago paid just over £8 for jacket cheese and beans never again potato was hard no flavour at all

Very pricey for what u get tables and bins overflowing with rubbish …

I have been a few times last visit no potatoes left a few weeks ago I got one it was hard in the middle took it back and got given a tiny potato. Today I got a jacket beans and cheese hardly any filling really small potato at £7.50 expensive for what you get . Tables dirty floor coved with food bins overflowing with rubbish it's a shame as it used to be really good I'm afraid I won't be returning.

Today's visit to the White Rose Leeds was disappointing due to half the things not being available but worse of all no milk for the coffees if a sign had been put up then we would not have ordered our food a lot of people were also making the same comments come on were was the delivery fir Mondays 😳

Can't beat a jacket spud for a healthier fast food option. Lots of choice for toppings. I got the prawn mayo and my husband got a vegetarian curry. Got the meal deal choice of got drinks an either garlic bread, crisps or a cookie. Got a seat. Tables could do with cleaning. Staff were friendly. I would go again.

It feels a ittle bit pricey for what is, but my portion was a decent size and very tasty. The servers were possibly the most miserable people on the planet, but I probably would be at lunch time in a shopping centre.

It was empty and everywhere else was very busy, I love jackets so thought I would go here. Very expensive, jacket was nice but at £5.50 for one topping and extra cheese I felt very over priced at £1.90. cappuccino had no chocolate. Garlic bread was not great. Service was not with a smile. Also could not get a seat.

20 Min wait because no spuds left ,well put some more in 20 mins earler, not rocket science, Got KFC instead

I got a standard potato with beans and cheese… came with barley any beans on at all and next to no cheese, costs an extra 90p for butter which is ridiculous, so overpriced and all the tablets were dirty and bins were extremely over filled

Not worth the money. Service not great. Charge extra for butter (not a problem as some may like it without) but give you it separate to your jacket after filling has been placed on top…..I like my butter on the potato under the filling…. Won’t be returning unfortunately

Visited white rose today. £18 for 2 jacket potatoes with the smallest amount of toppings ever! No wonder there was no queue and all the other food outlets were packed 👎

Ordered a baked potato with coleslaw and cheese. Got a small potato with a small table spoon of coleslaw that didn't have much taste and a sprinkle cheese on top and a small sprite. That cost £9.55. Now I know why they were no queue. James Martin is one of my favourite chefs, but sorry, I won't be eating there again.

Utterly disappointed tiny portion and ignorant staff as it was a takeout u never check but the staff were sniggering at each other like this was done on purpose

Told the girls, first put butter then cheese then the beans. They did it opposite and didn’t even put the butter. Also the jacket patato was not nice fail society here.

An amazing potato place. I love potatoes and as a potato connoisseur, I can confidently say that these potatoes are the most exquisite, beautiful, stunning, delicious, whimsical, gorgeous, amazing potatoes in England. They taste so so good and are soft like clouds from heaven in your mouth. The skin feels crispy and perfect. The potato absorbs the decadent flavours amazingly and I love this place. I dream about these potatoes and crave them all the time, even in my sleep. But I wake up, realising I have no potato and grieve. I try to savour the last taste lingering on my tongue, but it is nowhere near as good as the real, extravagant, fancy, mouth-watering experience of these potatoes. Unfortunately, I cannot go anymore since I have been plunged into poverty from spending my life's earning on these potatoes. They are now too expensive for me to buy with my meager annual salary. I spend every waking moment trying to resist the call of the potato. I am consumed by the potato.

First timer Went today at white rose Leeds had pie,peas and jacket spud. Was fantastic will defo go again.

Over priced, very little fillings clearly it's a place where they measure everything they give you. The bloke working here today was great, not so much the other girl who walked off as soon as I went to the till, then totally ignored me twice when I asked her questions. Makes sense why it was the only one without a queue.

prices are extremely high any way but doesn’t help when lazy staff charge you £46 buy accident for a jacket so now I have to wait 3 days for a refund.

Arrived at 7.30 my neice paid for her food then I came to pay and was told that we can't sit in the seating area as the lady is working alone and I am closing at 9 but claimed she won't be able to clean up she did say she works alone that one last hour so she had no right to lie to us , two minutes later her colleague comes in so she basically lied to my face, I told her that the food in the plates does not even let us have it as take out still she didn't care to open the seating area for us despite there are customers sat down eating, we was advised to go and sit in the KFC seating area which we did this led to a very awkward situation with KFC staff. The staff had ginger dyed hair and wore glasses ,this experience ruined it all for me and could not enjoy my meal definitely won't be returning here as staff mistreat you and lie to your face, no customer service or satisfaction what so ever very disappointing, shame on the management for allowing this to happen especially when having a read of the reviews I am even surprised that they are still in business!!

Diabolical service, serving size horrendous and overly priced. The old vendors are missed. James Martin- this isn't the standard I expected. Never again

Spent £15 on two jacket potatoes, one cheese n beans and one butter chicken, fair to say I will NEVER be doing that again, the potatoes were dry, had to pay extra for butter??? Like what?? The butter chicken was dry and tasted like ar$e, cheese and beans tasted like ar$e, wanted to fry there for ages and so disappointed, staff are clueless and you wonder why it’s always dead… SAVE YOUR MONEY

Staff are very rude clearly did not want to be there and they wasn't willing to help by offering the meal deals or anything clearly if you don't want to be at work don't come won't be visiting again.

Absolutely appalled with this experience. Since the management has changed everything it kills the spudulike dream. You used to go and get your spud in a bowl where the cheese would melt nicely into it and under it and now its on a paper plate where it does not melt and to top it off because management don't like how tuna is caught and killed the customer has to suffer and can not purchase this to put on your potatoes. The customer is always right in my eyes and if your gonna do that for tuna you should do it for the beef you use for your chilli. I will tell you now I used to love this place and was happy to pay the prices but never again. The only good thing was the nice lady that served me.

If I could give zero stars I would. Avoid this place The staff are ignorant and totally in helpful.I ordered jacket spud with chilli, and it’s just that. No cheese and the chilli was basically slop. had to pay £180 for cheese as that’s not included also 80p for butter. I got a cookie for my son. That 1potato and cookie just short of £12. I would love to post photo I’ve taken but I’m unable on this review. Totally disgusted

RIDICULOUS ! £7.50 for potato with beans and cheese. I was shocked but I was hoping at least I ordered something with good quality ingredients and well presented as the pictures were showing everywhere.. Unfortunately soon as I opened the box it looked like pile of vomit! The shredded cheese was icing cold!!! Underneath boiling hot beans on top of warm potato???? STUPID! Please please walk 5 seconds further and get yourself KFC!

The jacket potatoes are nice and hot and I saw no problem with this place

No hygeine procedures at all at this store. Disgusting. Even without covid you could pick anything up. Got my money back as did not want to risk getting any bacterial infections.

Their potatoes are ok, not amazing and they're so overpriced. Also very rude staff on the tills. Woman charged full price for a child's meal when 2 adult meals had been purchased. (Should've only been £1) and refused to discount it.

Wondered about going after the poor reviews but very glad we did. 2 pensioners(one 99) have a thoroughly enjoyable healthy meal, hot potatoes beautifully cooked, plenty of salad - none of the horrible additives at most of the other places. . Mind you, I took our own cutlery as I find plastic ones such a pain. Clean tables

Didn’t get past the lifeless employee on the till. Expressionless, not helpful and monotone when saying they’ve no soup. No apology, no smile. If this is “front of house” they need to get employees who actually want to work there. White Rose Leeds.

Don't believe the haters, true potato enthusiasts will recognise this as the best jacket potatoes around here. Perfectly cooked, served piping got, stuffed with excellent fillings!

These potatoes are perfectly soft on the inside with a delectable, crispy skin. They're always fresh out of the oven, and the waiting time is impeccable! The fillings are generous and delicious

This place used to have the best jacket potatoes now they're the worst called in today wish I hadn't bothered asked for cheese and butter couldn't taste the butter couldn't see the cheese there was hardly any on never again too expensive for what you get

Far too expensive there. I paid £9.50 for jacket potato meal deal with a small sprinkling of cheese and tuna/sweetcorn (which was 80% sweetcorn) with a drink and cookie.

Coleslaw absolutely disgusting do not get any coleslaw from here , tastes out of date way too tangy and vingery. Also very experienced for a jacket potato.

Really disappointed on this visit. All but beans and cottage cheese sold out. Opted for cottage cheese which was lacking on a small cold / hard potato. Found £15.78 an extortionate price for 2 eating out there (not just due to the quality on this occasion) their prices seem to increase all the time... at the end of the day its only a tatty!!!!

Recent Update... just had a jacket with beans, asked for it not too well done, and it was solid! Returned it and the second one exactly the same. Shouldnt be cooking that many, that they have to serve them so over done, or reduce the price past 5pm. It is a bit expensive but 99% of the time its lovely. If any problems they exchange it anyway. I got one once at a potato shop in meadow hall which was a bit cheaper but the quality of filling was terrible and smaller. Rather pay a bit more to actually enjoy my food

Very overpriced! Almost £5 for a small baked potato & filling. And nx door at Gravely’s you can get fish & chips for not much more. Think they really need to wake up to themselves!

Overpriced, £6 for a spud and filling, probably worth £1

Extremely slow service staff were just standing arround talking to eachother instead of using both tills and getting rind of the que with speed. I waited 20 mins for two simple potato's with garlic bread. As I work in coustmor service this is extremely poor.

Worst jacket potato ever I suffered with food poisoning for 4days after spending close to £10 for a jacket potato with beans and tuna sweet corn. Absolutely revolting food, Avoid at all cost.

No where near as good as the other stores I've been to. Luxury coleslaw? Nope it was cheap and tasted of water, the mayo was so thin it had bubbles! Staff were looking unhappy and stood about chatting/going as slow as possible. Our order of 2 jackets and a kids meal left them with a que of 4 people as they were that slow!! They weren't even busy! We wont be visiting this branch again!

£17.12 for 2 jacket pototatoes. What place puts cheese underneath the beans? Put it on top like normal people do! Rip off never going back. Service was miserable and failed to give out knife and forks.

Its a fast food jacket potato place. Could do with some additional fillings. Usuall fillings. The side salad is poor though rocket leaves and red onion is all you get with dressing if you want.so cant really call it a slad missing some cucumber, tomoatos, celery etc could be better but ok for a quick lunch. Nothing fantastic though. Basic

Ordered a jacket potato with chilli con carne. Overprices, the size of the potato is so small and dry ! There is hardly any meat in the chilli con carne expect red kidney beans ! I will never buy this again unless they are going to improve their food quality and quality!

Was getting some drinks from here to sit and calm/feed my friends newborn baby and came to the table to find we were moved because "You have to be buying food to sit in the spudulike section" other patrons sat eating kfc in the same section around us. Will not be using them again.

Lovely jacket potatoes staff seem bored

Food is nice. Staff are quick and friendly. Seating is awful. Penned in. No space to get to table if you can find one. If you have a pram or mobility problems then you have no chance. Shame they don't have open seating like everywhere else.

It's a bit expensive, it's true but the quality is really the top (than everything else in england). The staff is good and nice.
