I was sceptical because of the reviews. But genuinely worth the price and I enjoyed it.

Would love to review the food but it never turned up. Woman on phone rude. Told me driver had been and rang me but hadn't checked my CCTV a few times. Said they would bring it back but didn't. All in all a joke. Read the reviews afterwards and I'm glad it didn't come sounds dirty. Scuffy people running a scuffy rat riden takeaway.

Terrible customer service. The woman on the phone was being very rude and wouldn’t listen to us and was repeatedly telling us the same thing which it wasn’t getting nowhere since the thing she was saying wasn’t true. Don’t order from here

Really really really upset at the portion of cheese and chips they gave me today. I took a video of it but I can’t attach it but you would’ve seen more clearly that they gave like 12 chips. I don’t know how any business could do such a thing! Genuinely thought my husband was pranking me when he brought this home to me

Cheeseburger, spicy chips and a can of coke for only £2.99, and very fast to make your food, need I say more? Another takeaway in the area does the same (without the spicy chips) for £5 and it’s nowhere near as nice, definitely my go to now.

The food was lush but the down fall is that I think one of the food was undercooked or not cooked or gone off and it give me food poisoning and ive been going toliet ever since I can't even sleep without thinking do I need the loo

Woman answered the phone and genuinely didn’t know what a kebab was, she got our order completely wrong aside from one item and then put the phone down when we called to try sort it out. They eventually gave us a partially correct order but the kebabs were tiny, stone cold and stale. Legitimately the worst takeaway I’ve ever had and I’ve had some stinkers. Most of it ended up in the bin.

Cheap place to eat but after last night no more I was violently sick you can see when u go in staff continuously touching frozen food then raw and cooked no hands washed no hairnets the donner meat was like rubber and the burger a sloppy soft mess pizza bases smell like they been sat in dirty water

Always busy when i visit. Staff are always eager to take your order Never waited more than around 7 to 10 minutes for my order depending on how busy it is. Decent price point on food which explains how busy it can get especially late afternoon and evenings.

If I could give it a 0, I promise you that I would. Told me it would be arriving between 2:40 and 3:00 and didn’t arrive until 4. We was told umpteen times by the woman working the phone that it was ‘On da way’ and as a matter of fact that was a lie. Blatantly lied about the arrival time and ignored umpteen calls that were sent through but once we called off a second phone it was picked up immediately. Appalling coming from the staff and overall wasn’t a good experience. Will NOT be ordering again and I would just save my money if I was you.

Exactly what it looks like! Cheap, cheerful and very consistent. Not haute cuisine, but famous for a reason!

Rude staff, ordered 2 ice creams and a bottle of coke at 4 am and it took an hour and a half for them to get it ready, they had my order ready, then had the audacity to cancel my order after another half hour. This is the second time I have TRIED to order food from this place. Both times, they've taken my money and the last time, they delivered the food over 1.5 hours late. The second time, its not even arrived. My partner rang earlier, they told her it's been delivered. I have just rang, they've told me it's not been made yet, but they'll ask where the delivery guy is with my food. NO MANAGEMENT SKILLS AND NO ONE KNOWS WHERE MY FOOD IS OR IF ITS EVEN BEEN MADE!!! NEVER BUY FROM THIS PLACE. How you can run a business like this is beyond me, straight up robbery and no-one there has the decency to apologise, or deliver food you've bought. If I could give negative stars I would. And I'm not a fussy eater and am sympathetic to people. If you can't help it, and you're late due to traffic or complications, it doesn't bother me. When you straight up tell me I already have it, I've got a problem. 25 pounds for food I haven't received is not acceptable!

If I could give 0 stars I would.... Ordered 2 times from here. The first time. The food was stone cold and 2.5 hours late, i tried ringing them and they ignored my calls. Supposed to be here for 5am and It turned up at half past 7. We couldnt eat it as was horrible. My partner ordered tonight from here and it got to the time we were meant to get the food, on just eat it said it wasnt even being made. I rang the place and got a cold answer. I do not recommend this place if you actually want food.

Don't order from here it made me vomit. If you do go and collect it but please after you walk out the show look around there is a bin not 20 metres away take my advice put the food in the bin you'll thank me later when you are not sitting on the toilet from food poisoning

We asked for a spicey beef, mushroom and onion pizza. Spicey beef is listed as a topping on their menu pizzas. They blankly refused outright. It's a shame about the attitude as we had been buying food from here for a while but won't be going back. It is however not the first time that the staff here have been arrogant but we have overlooked it due to convenience. Just make the customers required pizza already. AS IF they refused. I guess they never heard that the customer is always right. Smh!

It's cheap and cheerful, they're selling burgers at 99p don't expect a gourmet meal.

Don't agree with half these reviews, I think it's lovely food and brilliant value for money. Only thing wrong for me is they could put more donner meat in the wraps but for what it's worth it's definitely well priced. So cheap, always come and collect! Never no problems

Awful service. Food came an hour & half late , it was cold and I was missing my milkshake. Tried calling 3 different times and got no answer , driver who finally turned up was passive aggressive & just all around horrible experience. do not recommend at all.

The man who takes your order there is very rude and very nasty doesn’t speak to you polite at all Also false advertisement he tells you deals are only Monday to Thursday and over weekend you can only get meals! Your signs outside don’t state the deals are only Monday to Thursday if your not going to advertise this then people should be able to get the deals over the weekend as well and don’t shout at people when there asking for a 99p chicken burger saying that deal is only Monday to Thursday if that’s the case get some signs up!! Horrible horrible man!!

Customer service is terrible. The shop hasn't even been open that long but the mannerisms of the guy serving is shocking.

Good quality food for a low price

Ordered 2 pizza 2 chips 2 pop at 12am, then rang them to confirm it, to get told that the meals deal only came with 1 pizza so i asked to change the chilli pizza to mixed kebab pizza and told him i dont like chilli pizza and waited till 2:30 for it turn up a chilli pizza absolutely freezing and chips were cold and soggy fuming.

This place is a sham famous kebab was one of the best kebab and pizza places in leeds. I have not got a clue who these people are they are very slow (if they turn up) and the food is average at best. Also not even that cheap.

This phone number is no longer for Famous on York Rd it's for a place called Punjab Catering on Roundhay Rd. Famous has been shut for several months.

Just ordered a chicken tikka kebab on naan asked for no chilli sauce as I can't have it! It comes covered in chilli sauce rang up to tell them and basically got told it was tough and they wasn't going to change it. They was very rude! AVOID

Wow just wow do not order from here very nasty customer service orderd £40s worth of food and they have forgotten are burger and chips, these things happen which I fully understand but when confronted we was told they obviously didn't have that certain burger and fort they would keep our money and not think to tell us by sending nothing, refusing to replace the burger and prity Much told us to deal with it so my child was left without a meal, I would of given him mine meal but the food was terrible and wasnt even fit for a dog ,bad bad bad I'd rather eat from the floor
