Spud U Like in Cardiff

Este lugar no vale la pena. Es mejor tenerlo en casa realmente, las papas son duras, frías y desordenadas, con un sabor extraño y extraño, frijoles fríos con sabor metálico y queso fuerte. Personal grosero. No es de extrañar que este lugar siempre esté vacío, es un desastre caro

El queso estaba lleno de moho. Le dijimos al personal que era indiferente o grosero, y el gerente pensó que no merecía una disculpa. Luego pusieron un nuevo paquete de queso en el plato viejo sin lavarlo o verificando que el nuevo lote estuviera bien. Nunca podría comer allí de nuevo.

Entré en el restaurante hoy y me sorprendió lo ocupado que estaba. Gran sistema con 2 cajones que hizo que la cola bajara muy rápido. El lugar estaba realmente limpio incluso con la cantidad de personas y el personal era amable y eficiente como siempre. Bien hecho a los 2 niños en las latas y los 2 niños en la parte posterior y muy bien a la limpieza de la joven. Absolutamente magnífico.

Buena ubicación en la calle Davids 2 food Hall planta baja. Limpio, ordenado, limpio y con muchos asientos. La única crítica al lugar es que el personal de la recepción debe buscar lo que están haciendo, incluso para registrar al próximo cliente. Esta es la decencia común. La comida era encantadora aunque un poco cara para mi gusto. Recomendaría.

Me gustaba ir aquí con mis hijos en el pasado. Sin embargo, hoy estaba comprando una comida para mi hija y para mí cuando me negaron el agua caliente para hacer mi botella de 7 meses por motivos de salud y seguridad. ! Estaba tan estresada ya que mi hija se estaba muriendo de hambre y también el bebé, estallé en lágrimas y todavía no me sirvieron. Horrible experiencia. Debenhams me salvó, fueron muy amables, incluso me ayudaron a llevarlo todo a la mesa, ya que tenía mis manos llenas con los dos niños, no podía creer el espíritu de las dos compañías diferentes. Nunca jamás volveré. Todavía me molesta pensar lo estresado que estaba tratando de averiguar a dónde podría llevar a los niños cerca.

Overall food was great, very generous portions for the price which was very good. Place was clean and tidy. Staff could be a little more welcoming although they were friendly.

Wanted a jacked spud for lunch, so we went in, Staff was helpful, place was clean and tidy. Food was fresh but cheese portion was so small, no salad or nothing with the spud.. Usual drinks on offer. The options this place could offer to enhance the experience yet nothing apart fro, garlic bread... such a shame as its a nice place, just pricey and plain

Popped in last weekend when out doing a bit of Christmas shopping. Bought my 4 and 6 year old the childrens potato meal. Was completely stunned that for £5 you get half a potato, a little scoop of beans and a tiny bit of cheese. Kids did really enjoyed their food and said it was nice. Shame it is just so ridiculously expensive. After seeing how tiny the kids meals were and how much they cost, I opted to skip ordering anything for myself. With the crazy prices & tiny portions I'm don't foresee us eating here anytime soon.

We called in here while out shopping and were amazed at the size of the queue but everyone was served very quickly and the staff seemed most helpful our potatoes came out lovely and hot with a super amount of filling and the drinks came to us quite quickly as well it is certainly worth a visit and we shall eat here again when back in the area next time.

The wife and I stopped by for a couple of jacket potatoes as quick and simple Shame about the organisation as they only do about 6 ingredients for the spuds and the most expensive in the prawn cocktail was still frozen as the rush hour was beginning. This is poor considering how much you have to pay.

Sat here before welsh international and been queuing for 30 minutes. Poor system from staff who are serving.

We called in for a quick bite. Friendly staff, great service and really good food. Great coffee as well. We’ll be back!

You can’t go wrong with a jacket potato but as it turns out you can pay way, way to much. £16 for 2 spuds, 2drinks and some extra cheese. What made it worse is you can’t order a nice healthy side salad. As I sat there stunned wishing I had opted for something else and calculating where it had all gone wrong I realised it’s the combos that brought the price up. You can get a potato with just beans or cheese and pickle but not cheese and beans. Still at over £5 for most spuds it just isn’t worth it. The service was good, staff were friendly, it’s a baked potato so food was lovely, just very very over priced.

Lots of toppings to choose from. I had cottage cheese and chive. The only thing I would reccomend would be having sauces on the table. A lil mayo would have helped the dryness.

Lovely clean restaurant with friendly staff. The food was lovely. I had egg mayonnaise which was really nice and plentiful and the potato was lovely. My wife had cheese and coleslaw. The freshness of the food shone through, will definitely return.

Brilliant lovely jacket potatoes the best lve tasted. Staff are friendly nothing is to much trouble. Would recommend visiting this place anytime.

We ordered two baked potatoes and asked for each to have a little butter inside before the filling. We then ordered two fillings; cottage cheese & chives and prawn cocktail. When our order arrived, there was no butter and when we asked for some, it took quite a while for the staff to find some portions.

Any excuse to go into Cardiff city Center and have a spuds. Coronation chicken is to die for. Quick service and clean. Will be a returning customer.

This restaurant is amazing! I love the fast service and ease of ordering! The bean and cheese spuds are so heavenly! Highly recommend!

I love this place a great place to go on a lunch break . A lovely atmosphere staff are lovely but most of all the meals are fresh , quick and delicious will go again and again .

Best value lunch in town. So filling and always refuels me for next leg of shopping. Lovely staff and great choice of fillings both hot and cold.

Excellent meal in a very friendly fast food restaurant. The staff even let me try one of the fillings for the jacket potatoes before I had purchased !! Well worth a visit

No organisation no manager. Cold chilli and garlic bread. Took 20 mins to resolve. Won't be back in a hurry

Food was fresh and testy, service was quick too. Was a relaxed atmosphere simple quick meal at a great price

As always the nicest jacket potatoes there are. A good choice of toppings and side salads. Cakes lovely too. This place is always clean and tidy and the staff are friendly and helpful

Well it appears that spud u like 1st David's centre cardiff don't intend to do any trading requiring banking between now and a week today (5 banking days away) as they are already refusing to take the paper £5.

Nothing better than the winter veggie special. So tasty and always good spuds here. Always makes me full as well so great!

Ok the food is a little difficult to eat due to the nature of the plastic cutlery and the hospital kidney trays the spuds come in.

After Xmas sales period didn't stop Spudulike being quick to serve the food ordered. Huge spud, really big prawns and plenty of them in a delicious Marie Rose sauce. The servers were really happy and helpful and even offered to bring my lunch to my table. I'll definitely have lunch here again.

This place WAS well worth a visit if quick but non junk food was needed in Cardiff City Centre. Suffice to say I was disappointed to say the least when told the mixed bean side salad which was a generous portion had been discontinued forever.

Been a while since I was last here. But damn it has improved. So much easier having proper cutlery. And the veggie special is tasty. Could do with another one!

I had a jacket spud with cottage cheese and chives - generous helping in large spud. Tasty side of garlic bread. Quite good value for money, reasonable ambience and enjoyed watching passing shoppers.

Simple menu, jacket potato, can't go wrong.With a good range of toppings, great garlic bread. The Service was very fast, the table are cleaned away, very quickly.

Quite overpriced for what you get. Not even a side salad on the plate and the garlic bread was dry and hardly any garlic on it. Very uninspiring and unsatisfying sorry.

Spud U Like is probably the best value place to eat within the St. David's shopping centre.

Can't speak highly enough of this place. I usually eat in the Bridgend one but eat in the Cardiff one fairly often. I don't know what they do to their spuds but they never disappoint. There a great healthier option and fairly filling. My only criticism is they take the Meal deal (coronation chicken) out every Christmas and there a tad overpriced.

The spud is hot and fresh. It's of a high quality. Cheese and beans were good. Decent selection on the menu. Price is towards the high end. They do deals of the week etc to help on price. Very tasty. Lots of seating. Clean and tidy. Located in St Davids 2. Also do food to go.

Spot on for jacket potatoes. Visited here a few times, plenty of fillings to choose from. I am laughing my head off at someone complaining about money for jacket potato garlic bread and a drink being too expensive. I think it's great value for money!

After shopping for a couple of hours me and my friend wanted to go somewhere different for lunch .so we decided to go to spud u like .I had cheese and coleslaw jacket potato with garlic bread and a apple Fanta my friend had a coronation chicken jacket potato which was part of a meal deal with garlic bread and a PEPSI .in all we really enjoyed our lunch which was quite filling . good value for money for what you get definitely go back

Very clean and fresh place with friendly staff and a good range of fillings for freshly baked potatoes.

Very different to other Spud U Likes that I've been into. Food quickly prepared and served on plates with proper cutlery, not the plastic bowls and plastic cutlery that I've had in other Spud U Likes. Not sure if this is a company wide change or just this store, but it was really nice.

Visited this place on several occasions always get a freindly welcome and quick service I would recommend it if all you want is a snack IE cup of tea or coffee with a cake and of course a baked potato.as usual there are several fillings and it was enjoyable to relax during those hard shopping trips in the city.

Had a lovely lunch here. Great service, decent prices and good food. What more can you ask for.....oh and it was spotlessly clean.

Me and my partner had a meal there, it was lovely and fresh, the restaurant was clean and simple. I think £5.50 is still expensive for a meal, garlic bread and a drink. I think the spud u like in Bridgend is nicer. The garlic bread was hard and not much taste to the coronation chicken and a bit too spicy for my liking. Good customer service though.

This is a great place! You choose your filling from a good selection. Tasty, healthy and quick! Good value and good portions.
