Spud Spot in North Lanarkshire

Years ago, I'd have avoided this place. Now, I cant get enough of the baked tatties. They are awesome, and the delivery is rapid. Good food and good service.

Moved to Airdrie about a year ago tried a couple of shops but this shop was the best by far. Tried many things out of there and everything’s always been amazing. Won’t go go elsewhere. Keep it up guys 🤞.

Ham & pineapple pizza my usual order or a baked potato with cheese. Always fresh, warm and very tasty

Guys are all sound, food is top notch. Doesn’t matter what you order, always tastes amazing.

made a order online phoned them to make sure they remembered the salad as they forgot it the last time was told no problem, got the delivery no salad so called them up and said I phoned and use have forgot the salad to be told they where busy sort it next time, I said no as I had phoned to make sure it was there to be then told no one had spoke to me!! Basically calling me a liar his attitude was terrible for a customer who orders 3/4 nights a week will definitely not be back even had the check to say to 2 secs on the phone and just hang up on me nothing but RUDE

Baked potatoes are absolutely fantastic

When I ordered from this place they didn’t listen to what I wanted and they just gave us what they wanted to give us and it was the complete opposite of what we ordered and we ordered 4 chicken nuggets and we only got 3,, the food was horrible and wasn’t warm at all. I absolutely do not recommend ordering from here.

My food came after 1.5 hours late and was told it should come between 35 and 50 minutes my kids didn’t have any food all day and we’re waiting all day for it. When it finally came I ordered 3 chicken burgers 1 mild and 2 were Chili it came 1 was good and then the others were absolutely disgusting, it was beef the beef was brown ( not in a good way ) and it was not Chili I called them and they said that we can’t do anything about it and I said what do I do my kids are hungry and they said they can’t take it back and I said that can yo give us our correct order and they said you need to pay I was absolutely shocked I paid nearly £50 for that order and I had to pay another tenner and my other daughter ordered 4 chicken nuggets and only got 3 I’m telling you do not order from this place it is absolutely horrible.

Phoned for 2 baked potatoes…the lad on the phone was polite,very helpful & friendly. Delivery was here within 25 min,delivery driver was again polite,friendly & had gd banter. The baked potatoes were delicious,well buttered and salted,cooked well…fluffy inside & crispy skin…had cheese and coleslaw tubs for the filling. Coleslaw was epic,really crunchy & creamy. Would definitely recommend the baked potatoes…I’m actually a regular customer of spud spot & would recommend the pizzas,wraps & burgers…my favourite tho is chips,spicy mince & cheese…10/10. Overall,the whole experience was flawless,faultless & delicious…will remain a loyal customer.

Had food out here a few times And it’s been good not been for a while so my kid wanted a pizza so I got one phoned asked for cheese and red onion pizza well done three times I told the man then I get home with pizza and it’s like uncooked dough And about two bits of onion in it Phoned them they said come get it I told them can’t got my kid they said they will deliver if I pay 2.50 delivery charge unreal asked when don’t know wow it’s there mistake I’m not paying for there mistakes got enough of my own mistakes to sort Won’t be back sick of paying people why can’t they just do as the customer asks just listen in first place and there won’t be mistakes

Had food from here twice pizza first time I found it greasey . Had the chilli burger last time, we had a long wait both times and found the food disappearing. Out of choice I would not eat from here again.

Ordered baked potatoes tonight with butter, cheese and onion. Food finally arrived 40 mins late, bone dry with no butter, only one tub of filling and the potatoes were freezing cold. If you want somewhere with little to no customer service, this is your place!

Order took about 90 minutes, food came and was sweaty in the container and luke warm. Will not use again

Phoned an order a while back and the order was incorrect so I put it down to bad phone line. Just went in and ordered in person to avoid any confusion. After saying the words NO CHEESE clearly a number of times I got my order back with, you guessed it, C-H-E-E-S-E!!!!!! I thought mcdonalds was bad for just ignoring instructions but christ on a bike! Walk in to the place and it looks like a complete free for all and there's no order to whats happening so no surprise that no one actually knows whats happening. You took my money quickly enough so you can manage to do something at least.

Food was OK. Charged 90p for a tub of tomato sauce. Won't be back, EVER.

Phoned for a bake potato with tuna pasta and a large salad from spud spot tonight when i came they forgot toput the tuna pasta in when I phoned them back they told me that the tuna pasta was there. I explained that it was not there. Staff then went on to say i did not pay for the salad i eaxplaind that it comes with the salad after 5 mins they they said they would send me out another order when that one came it was just pasta I did not notice that the tuna was not in with the pasta but the salad was in with the potatoe I could not heat the potatoes up because the salad was on the potatoe. .

Sat 3rd September, ordered chicken goujons, raw and pink , Manager was rude . Was sending someone out to pick up. Never arrived. Sick all day Sunday , pic attached to show the uncooked food . Stay clear

Ordered my meal including 2 pizzas and a chicken wrap with chips, waiting for nearly 2 hour!!!! When food got here they had forgot the chips and wrap was all cold and old pizza, pizza didn’t taste right so I called up and the manager even stated himself “the food is precooked” absolutely vile shop disgusting food

Used for years, never again. Last 2 orders were vile. Both orders had normal sized potatoes not baking potatoes. Everywhere has raised prices but you can't raise them and HALF portions! Last order had several hairs in 5 out of 9 boxes that we seen. Phoned for refund and asked them to collect food, angry man told me the Manager wasn't in so nothing he could do! Still have photos of food on my phone.

Could get a pizza from Italy quicker

Went in ordered chicken pasta salad and chips , order was made bagged up and given to me , got home and yet again no chicken pasta in my meal this is the 3 rd time wrong order has been given . I don’t know if it has been taken over or it’s just the staff that isn’t up to much but this time I definitely won’t be back

2 hours 15 minutes for a delivery, cold food arrives, wrong fries and no juice or dip. Not the first time and i wont be back

I had the chicken burger with lettuce,onions & mayonnaise...good quality & extremely tasty...had the piri piri fries too,spicy,hot & savoury but again epically tasty. Shop clean & tidy...staff definitely polite,polished service too...really friendly guy called Asad served me...the owner Rahaul is a pleasant fellow too. Had a baked potato with cheese & coleslaw delivered on another occasion too...was delivered to my door within 20 minutes,delivery driver was again polite,friendly etc...food piping hot & delicious. Definitely be back to the shop or be ordering another delivery...food is 10/10 & another advantage is it’s open til 1:30am at the weekend which is very convenient for me working late & weird hours.

Best baked potatoes we've ever had!!! Great portion size and the toppings are in separate containers with your takeaway to add on as per your preference too. Definitely be a regular takeaway for us now.

Ordered on uber delivery, the order took 3 .20 min food was ok (chips) horrible,cost £30 chips burger, pizza med, bake patato, two bottles juice(got them wrong), totally disappointed was bed time before it came.

Used to love this place. Untill I found a hair on my pizza. That s disgusting! I don t want anyone s hair on my food. I was working in food industry and I know they should wear a PPE and that things like this shouldn t happen.

Food delivered 2 hours late. I called to cancel and was promised that food would be delivered and order refunded however this didn't materialise. We have since ordered again, the next order was delivered within around 1.5 hours and the second was 2 hours before it left the shop. I called to cancel this order and to be fair I really should have known better. Modern ordering systems have the ability to forecast delivery times and if you know it's going to take 2+ hours your customers should be advised in advance so they can make the decision to wait or not. I won't be making this mistake again.

Order placed at 8:00pm for delivery, 6miles from the restauran (15 minute drive) as of 9:27pm I have yet to receive my order having twice phoned for a delivery update to be told its on the way. Will not be ordering again!!

Twice ordered from here. Twice my order was wrong! 2nd time actually went into the shop and specifically told them my order TWICE and they still got it wrong! Plus I saw one of the workers prepping a pizza with no gloves on handling dough and meat products with no PPE on at all and they let drivers into the food prep area! We will not use this place again. It used to be a good place but it has gone down hill recently.

I bought 2 baked potatoes tonight and when I got home realised they were yesterday's potatoes that had been reheated, they were lumpy with loads of butter to try and soften the potatoes, the skin was like leather, we didn't eat them. I should have realised they weren't fresh when the girl put the potatoes in the microwave. I usually love their potatoes but I certainly won't be back now, so disappointed.

absolutely disgusting, was supposed to be scampi, well thats what I ordered, duno what is was supposed to be, chips had been reheat in the microwave, fair to say went straight in the bin, not recommended.

Always really good at this place but I received the wrong order I phoned and they promised to bring the correct order which was fine nearly 2 hours after ordering I am still waiting for the correct order when I called to complain I encountered a unpleasant and unhelpful man who started shouting at me telling me he was very busy!! This was a disgrace no people skills or genuine apology I will think twice before ordering again we’ll that’s if I get the proper meal ever!! Very disappointed

So dissappointed tonight i order food from u guys all the time i have very rarely had ne issues tonight my delivery took over 2 hours i called at 9.30 to be told 5 mins its just left the shop half an hour later still not here so i called back when i said its been 2 hours i just got ye i know if the food has been with the driver 30 mins then that is not fresh food and i will be asking for my money back im shoked i het its christmas eve but come on

i bought this on saturday i paid £25 for a 16 inch munchie box and chicken tika for took like 2 and half hours to come i ask for cheese on the chips never got it it was the most poorest munchie box ever i had 5 bits of chicken pakora it was half the size of the box plus i ever got my chicken tika it was the worse box ever ever again!

They tried to sell me microwaved kebab meat! Dirty looking place, they need to give it a good clean. Service very poor and far below acceptable standards.

Order took over an house and a half, ordered a wrap meal never got the chips or the juice, also ordered a pizza with bbq base it came with tomato base and when called up to let them know I was told I would get extra on my next order, I ordered the food to get it today not in my next order

normally I would have nothing but good to say about this place I regularly order from them and have never had a problem until now I am currently pregnant and been craving the baked potato cheese tuna mayo and red onion but when it turned they forget the cheese this isn't my issue as normally this would be sorted and they would bring the stuff they have forgot this time they asked if we could just leave it and when told no we would prefer what we ordered as we have paid for it then to receive a phone call asking the same thing I feel like spud spot have totally changed used to have great service and would do anything to make sure u were happy now it's like they really can't be bothered this has really put me off ordering again very disappointed

Fantastic place, very understanding with my fiance's dairy allergy . Very friendly, even when they are busy and lagging behind they are more than pleasant.

If I could give lower rating I would. Do not go near this place! My wife placed an order of 3 meals which were not ready on time. Then after I collected them and started eating my pizza I found a hair in it. My wife phoned them back to tell them and ask for a refund and the guy was cheeky to her and said I would have to come back to get the money because he was too busy! We have eaten here before and felt the food was adequate at best. They may be 'reasonably' priced but the standards are terrible and the chef needs to put on a hair net! I don't even know where that hair came from as the guy at the counter who appeared to be making the meals didnt have long hair! Stay away!
