Was asked by just eat to leave a review for the stinking rancid donner meat we got from Umar's this evening. Just Eat also explained that restaurants have different cooking techniques and aromas. Not sure what that has to do with the foul meat delivered to us but there you go. I wouldn't buy anything from here if I were you.

Foods more dangerous than Jimmy Saville looking after your kids. Ordered and the food was completely wrong, they asked for the food back. Yes, covid still going on. Got correct order and it was more barking than a dog tied outside asda for a half hour shop. Avoid at all costs. Was asked to put first order outside, sat there for 20 minutes. Surprised it wasn't lifted by the fat bint delivery driver for a snack.

Under new ownership , great food and nice atmosphere in shop, range of food is really good and inside it is spotless. A great addition to area and again food is fantastic.

Food average, very watery sauces. Expensive and small portioned food. Add this to the fact they over charged me. Trying to fleece people just do yourself a favour and go into Starrys next door.

Should try to master less types if food rather than just take a wild swing at everything. real hit and miss on many choices. would be a last resort to order from here again

I had the donner, chicken tikka and pepperoni pizza. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal and delivery time was only 20 minutes on a Friday night, cant complain 😊

Ordered food at weekend I collected the order when I arrived home (5mins from shop) food was Luke warm And clearly a re heat spent £20 last time I will visit after the food I received chicken tough nothing fresh nan bread was just a bit of dough no care at all in preparing and serving food Very dissatisfied Won’t be back

I’ve been here a couple of times thought it was good I went in and ordered my usual. The chicken was tough as old boots sauce like dishwater never again.

Ordered set meal n guy tryd to charge me more then never got nan bread with it plus spiced onions portion would feed a hamster would not recommend.

I ordered 2 donner kebabs at around half 11 last night and they came on time everything was ok until I actually tried the donner meat without sauce or salad, me and my boyfriend agreed the donner meat actually tasted like rubber and wasnt nice at all, if I'm completely honest the only thing I was happy with was the bottle of cola and the salad🤦‍♀️

hit and a miss on this place , used to be good on getting the large munchy box had pleanty in it but last few times its all full of chips . was going to order tonite but stopped my self as it has became qa waste of money have put chicken strips into the oven instead and saved my self £14

Umars is the only place we order from- very tasty food and delivery is always on time or early. If you enjoy Pakistani/Indian cuisine this is the place for you!

Ordered last night and food was fantastic. Ordered tonight.. 70 minutes went on, which is fine... Then notification to say restaurant has cancelled. Appalling doing that after this length of time. You know if you can fulfil an order within 5-10 minutes. Had nothing but praise last night... Tonight I understand it may have been 2 hours or something but to cancel after 70 odd minutes is bad customer service, bad manners and bad business.

First time order through Uber eats, easy to pick and food superb and tasty, quick delivery, great service, enough said!

I went to Umars the other day after a day out in Glasgow. Feeling the need for some high quality take away food I went into their shop and noticed that they were getting ready to go home as it was so late. They boys literally took their jackets off so that they could make me a curry to make sure that I would have a meal for the long walk home. It was customer service from the top drawer and something I'll always remember. And the food was excellent too!!

One of my favourite Indian carry out restaurants in the area. I usually select one of the special packages - pakora, either patia or korma with nan bread. Comes with spiced onions and poppadoms. Although a fairly long delivery time is quoted the meal generally arrives much earlier than stated.

Food is ok but VERY SMALL portions. I won't go there again.

Had a chicken biryani from here tonight. It was the the worst I have ever tasted. It is now in the food waste bin where it belongs.

Ordered online which was very easy and got a quick confirmation and delivered was also within the 45mins slot, but sadly my chicken Bhuna was like soup....,rice and nan ok so sadly not great for my first try!

Food was OKAY and a bit pricey for portion size.

I regularly get a carry out from Umars. Never been disappointed. Too much for me - can keep lots of pakora for the next day.

After a class wee night in spoons, there’s only one place to go from there, Umars, not even any argument against it

Ordered a spicy chicken pizza - watched it being made and had high hopes. Fresh dough, place looked clean, it was busy, staff friendly enough etc Then I tried it! The problem was the spicy chicken mix, they clearly use left over bits of chicken which in itself is understandable but it was full of fat and gristle and chewy stringy bits which I can only guess may have been skin. The white crunchy bits were the worst! Straight in the bin and I am afraid I will not be back!

Definitely the best kebab in Airdrie town center

Have visited here a few times for a chicken pakora. Have to say I have never been disappointed, great portion, great price and all importantly tasty. Will certainly be trying out some of their other dishes at some point. Friendly staff.
