We went here because of the serious lack of other vegan eateries in Perranporth, and so glad we did. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to check ingredients for one of our party who has food allergies. The hummus and flatbreads were amazing as was the salad bowl. Excellent choice of cakes also and the smoothies were fantastic. Would highly recommend

I wouldn't normally go in a vegan cafe, because of the smell and smugness, but this one looked so nice I couldn't resist. Tucked away between a greasy chip shop and an ice cream parlour, this semi-outdoor coffee shop is a brilliant use of space and a great addition to the main shopping street through Perranporth. The staff were friendly and our coffees were produced quickly and tasted almost as good as normal coffee.

I can’t believe the girls who work here openly flout health & hygiene regulations by not having there hair tied up. I witnessed one of the staffs hair actually in the food at one point as she bent down. Left in a hurry after a very narrow escape.

Stopped for a coffee on Saturday and was impressed by how friendly the two young ladies were and they served us with great coffee and a biscuit for our dog.

We love this place. They do crazy delicious cakes, many of which are vegan and raw. The staff are crazy lovely like, the kind of nice you don’t really see anymore because we’re all so stressed! Also, they do lovely oat coffee too. We’ve not had any more than that yet but we plan to.

We popped in here for a quick drink and cake. The place is Interesting sandwiched between two shops. It's essentially outdoors but has a roof and heat lamps so is actually quite a cosy place to sit. The menu is nice, simple and sounds very tasty indeed. Today we had coffee and cake all good very tasty. The chocolate orange cheesecake was very good. Very dog friendly as well.

First pasty I had in years, due to being both vegan and intolerant to gluten! We were impressed with the quality of the food. Service was both fast and really friendly. Very tasty options that are both vegan and gluten free (mostly), which can be tricky to find usually. We had a cream cheese bagel, a smoked beetroot pie (not gluten free), and the spiced veg pasty. The cakes were also super delicious, we had a snickers cheesecake (very very yummy), a caramel slice and a carrot cake. We also had hot drinks which were all pretty good (soy and oat milk available). There is no indoor seating, but the few tables and chairs are fully protected by a "roof" so no need to worry if it's raining!

We went for lunch while on holiday. They have a different menu every day so you can be confident it’s all fresh. Disappointed they had run out of salad so chose the rice bowl, sweet potato & squash curry. It was delicious! We then had the caramel brownies & mocha cheesecake, sooo good, could have easily eaten a larger portion The girl serving was lovely, really laid back & friendly. We will be going back before the end of our stay.

Great coffee and cakes, warm welcome and so good to find somewhere on Perranporth not just with a token vegan option but a whole menu to choose from. Fantastic!

Friendly greeting here followed by very tasty food. Recommend the salad for sure. I am not a cake person but my daughter is and I tasted a bit of her mango and pistachio cheese cake, it was the best cake I have ever tasted. Would always eat here I think if I was in Perrenporth

Carefully prepared food and drinks with clean flavours. Unusual snack food including seaweed tortilla chips. Home made hummus, sweet potato Dahl and a quinoa and broccoli salad served with care and a smile. Yum.

Such a joy. Happy service, who were patient with our decision making. It was exciting to find somewhere for lunch that was both gluten free and vegan, and offering a choice within these confines. The Sri Lankan Dahl was exceptional, the flatbread was very nice, and the curry pasty was seriously delicious. I also had the Cacao, which came with a kind meditation card. A lovely experience, that we felt comfortable in without feeling like we were in a vegan-only setting. Would recommend highly as a lunch spot, and wish the proprietors every success.

This place is an amazing spot for great coffee and incredibly tasty food, nestled on the Perranporth high street. The service is more than friendly and very helpful. Really glad they have opened, Perranporth really needed a vegan and gluten-free spot. I love that everything is freshly cooked and locally sourced, and a bonus that all packaging is biodegradable!! Can’t wait to go back!!

Have been visiting the Mama Sprout Healthfoods in Newquay since they opened and this new little venture is all the awesomeness in miniature. Super lovely and friendly staff (always) and tasty, healthy, homemade food catering for vegans/veggies and gluten intolerant too. Definitely worth a visit if you are in town 🌱

The savoury choice of a one-pot and pasty doesn't compare to what was there before. There used to be falafel wraps and sweet potato fries, plus a whole menu to choose from. The current menu may work in the shop at Newquay but it isn't...

It is with regret that I leave this review but unfortunately my experience the last two times I've been to Foreign Muck has left me with little desire to return. Yesterday myself and a friend decided to pop in for some food and found the service poor. Despite there being clear tables we were told to leave our number and they'd contact us, however upon our insistence that we were happy to wait at the bar, they allowed us to pull up a seat and wait. Hoping to grab a beer while we waited we asked the staff, but we're told that we'd be seated shortly and not to worry about. We were then taken to a table several minutes later and slightly parched. Our order for drinks were taken but then a few more minutes go as we watch another table arrive before we ask our initial waiting staff if our drinks were on the way. They admitted they'd forgotten our order and it would arrive shortly. We get our drinks and starter, shortly after and all is going well. We demolish the starter between us and while enjoying our drinks we see two large tables seated next to us. Our server asks us if we want new drinks and being thirsty gentlemen we place our order. Unfortunately once again our drinks were not immediately forthcoming and we asked a different server if she could chase them up for us. During this time both the tables seated after us start receiving food and we are left still waiting for both drinks and food. We chase our drinks down once more and they arrive almost immediately, having been forgotten at the bar. We consume most of our drinks as the tables near us now receive further food. Annoyed, we go to ask the server why those tables had received their food before us, having been sat down before. They tried to explain that it was based on when our starter was finished. We then questioned why they had to be reminded of our drinks orders and they blamed the use of a notepad for them being forgotten. At this point they called over the manager who then condescendingly explained how food service is conducted. They then informed us that our food was now ready. At this point the mood had soured and we refused, paying for our drinks and starter before leaving. We were one of three tables remaining in the restaurant. It's such a shame as the food and service in previous years had been excellent, but both this experience and my previous one having large service issues has moved me to leave this review in hope that some change will take place. Unless it is someone else's suggestion, I do not think I'll be coming back any time soon. The food here is still exceptional, but the price has gone up and with the service I've received it's a much harder sell.
