Food delicious and service great. Super kids menu too. ty

Cheap & cheerful meals but served by really friendly staff. I take mum for the Makani curry after shopping sometimes and the portion size is perfect for a lunch.

A big thank you to all the staff yesterday who made a big fuss of us all when celebrating my 60th birthday 🎂 there were 10 of us and we had a super meal and were made to feel very welcome by Mark and Alex and the team. Thank you 🍾🥂🍾🎊

Excellent food the side salad is very fresh and the best I have had from a restaurant especially as 1 is a vegetarian, the staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble, we go every week in the afternoon and will continue.

Friendly staff but quality of food is not on par with other BeefEaters I've been...Salmon wasn't cooked great and roasted vegetables were soggy, especially limp Asparagus. Poached eggs were also quite poorly made with yolks essentially akin to a soft boiled egg instead.

Lovely place with nice staff staff. Lunch menu great value £29 for 2x starters & mains with unlimited soft drinks. Big portions too - will definitely be back!

Staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the service is great every time. Partner had the Christmas dinner, which was the largest portion of food we have had out for Sunday lunch in many years and was very nice. Personally I had a steak and macc on the side. To be fair the macc is great it's the only place I have it, as I'm a little fussy.

Every Christmas a group of 6 friends, myself included visit Springwood Park for our Christmas do and we love it! The food and drinks are always brilliant considering the great deals and reasonable prices. The service is always good and we particularly enjoy the service from Alex, who is just so funny! He gives a level of customer service and interaction that you just don’t get very much of anymore and it’s so refreshing….and hilarious! He had us in stitches and it’s always a pleasure to go back, for the service and the food equally!

Food wasgood, staff helpful and efficient

Christmas meal fab till you get to the deserts, worse cheese board I have ever seen one type of cracker, five slices of cheddar and some celery sticks, my kids pack lunch is better.

Stopped in for light meal. Good offerings but expensive for what you get.

Our meal was lovely and the service was great. Niall and the other staff were very friendly and very accommodating. They were quick to take orders and replenish drinks and made any adjustments with a friendly manner. Would recommend for a Sunday dinner.

My sister Rosie, our great niece, and i went out for lunch on Wednesday, 28th Aug. We were shown to our table, it felt like my chair was slopping, they changed the chair immediately with a smile, the food was lovely, even the fussiest child cleared her plate. The atmosphere was lovely and warm. The wait staff were very attentive especially Mark nothing was too much trouble.

We go out of our way to visit this Beefeater regularly as the food is always good and service is outstanding. We were warmly welcomed by Niall and Ian who were our waiters throughout our visit. They are both friendly, attentive and humorous. When my very picky 2 year old didn’t finish his meal, it was wrapped up so we could take it with us. Ian even made it into a swan! Niall was on hand to make sure we had everything we needed and ensured our drink refills were topped up regularly. I had a fillet steak and my partner had a mixed grill - both cooked exactly how we liked it. After a long day out at Alton Towers - this was the perfect ending to the day. Thank you!

My daughter and I visited for dinner this evening and we were really impressed. The food was excellent value for money and the service with a smile from Kelis was exceptional. We were staggered that she remembered what we ordered the last time we visited and even how well done our steaks were!!! I’d thoroughly recommend this place and Kelis is an absolute star!!!

Regarding starters I was surprised soup was not on the menu. Had Prawn Cocktail and again surprised it didn't come with seafood sauce. Rib eye steak was a little dry and only one small mushroom. On the positive the onion rings were a good portion and very nice. I think this may have been a one off for some reason because I've had better at other Beefeaters. Staff, very friendly and courteous. Drinks good.

Working away so eating by myself, all of the team made me feel very comfortable and at ease, lovely environment and brilliant service. Thank you

Great restaurant, great food, wonderful staff, especially Mark, he's the social butterfly, always has a smile on his face, always makes sure customers have what they need, and he's a credit to the place. Mike, the manager, whilst quieter, is also very juce, likes to ensure everyone is satisfied. A great menu, food is always well cooked, their sunday lunch is fabulous, their gravy is soooo good. Great offers with their loyalty card scheme too, it makes it an afforda le treat every couple of weeks. 5 ✨

It had decent reviews when I looked. My experience is ; - the great you wgen enter but do not attend when I sat down , I had to go and say please can I get a meny . - got the food, had a burger and sallad on the side . Sallad ok fries ok , burger had a burnt flavor to it . ( ate it anyway due to hunger ) Asked for ketchup, waiter handled a number of order before giving me ketchup. Approx 10 mins waiting , this after I got the food . No attention what so ever after that . So went ro the counter and settled my tab. Even there not much attention given . In short this pub , skip it and go where you are appreciated , I wasn't here. Cheers .

A wonderful meal for my Focus On Connections Club networking group. The gammon I had and the steak my attendees had were perfectly cooked thanks Liam for the brilliant food.

We have started to frequent this restaurant even thought it is not the nearest Beefeater. It is very comfortable and clean and the staff are friendly.

Stayed in the Premier Inn for a romantic night away from the kids. Had the fillet and the salmon, absolutely delicious! Food amazing, service amazing. Thank you

Ordered Fish & chips with mushy peas. Overdone on the verge of being burnt Fish, placed on top of a few chips, more gaps than chips!! Portion of peas amounted to an egg cup size, more mush than peas, very disappointed, won't be going again.

Great little Beefeater - you know what you're getting before you even go. Credit to the front of house, very friendly and seated quickly with no fuss. Easy predictable menu, tonnes of drink options. I had a starter, main, 2 drinks all for £30! Very cost effective. Food was well cooked and great sized portions.

Last night 11 of my family were booked into a Toby Carvery but due to a major traffic accident on the road we're unable to get there. We went to The Springwood instead and although they were very busy and expecting more customers who were booked in, Mark agreed to accept us as we are regulars there. He went above and beyond to arrange tables, took our orders and served us himself throughout our stay. The kitchen staff were amazing and we didn't have to wait long for our food. Would definitely recommend this place and thank you Mark for everything you did. Pam and Paul Webster.

Lovely people they are funny and generous I love the food everyone there is kind and caring honestly a lovely place and my favourite we are now going every Sunday because it is cheap and delicious

Decided to give this place 2* the food was absolutely bang on, the chefs here do a really good job but the service is nearly non existent. It was very quiet being a Sunday evening and being Derby day so we expected the service to be on point but it was shocking, the manager on shift didn't seem like he could be arsed and the lad waiting on tables just didn't shut up. You could hear him from a mile away which was off putting. When we asked about the Sunday roast one member of staff laughed and said they didn't see the point in doing Sunday roast past 4 or 5pm when it clearly states on the website they do it untill the kitchen closes. The lad acted as if we were stupid then walked off to chat to another table. I'm unsure if I'd return purely because of the level of service which is a shame as the food was lovely.

Had such a wonderful evening meal with my partner. Matt & Izzie served us. Food was really fantastic. Have booked to be there again twice more this year.

Visited today Sunday. Ordered Roast beef lunch. Vegetables & Yorkshire pudding ok but the beef was so tough I couldn’t eat it. No apology from staff or refund. Won’t be going again.

Couldn't eat the beef roast because the slices of beef had been warmed up on the grill, reminding me of leather boots. The sprouts where cooked to death on the outside but rock hard in the middle. How they accomplished that must be a state secret. After getting drinks, it took half an hour before our order was taken, the restaurant wasn't busy so I have no idea why.

The service was abysmal.Normally, the waiter will try to push you into having more, but ours was the opposite. She ignored us until I asked for the desert menu. Ten minutes later, I had to go to the till and ask for the bill. Only then did she ask if we wanted a desert. Too late.

Food was really good staff, especially Ian were enthusiastic, welcoming and informative. Recommended.

nothing bad to say about this beefeater. reasonable service, reasonable food, slightly slow getting food served after ordering but food was good (it was a dinner for 8) we went on a Sunday and was just before the peak lunch time and there were plenty of tables. menu selection was OK.

Excellent food at a reasonable price. Been here a few times now and apart from decent food, it is the outstanding attitude and friendly positive disposition of the staff that makes the visit enjoyable.

Dined in for the buffet breakfast with my son this morning. Quite literally couldn't fault it. Attentive and warm, friendly staff. Great quality food and drink, and loads to go around, even for two large appetites. We even complimented the staff at the till when we were paying as the two gents on shift this morning (Saturday 28th October) in particular were so nice and friendly with everyone in the restaurant including children and those with extra needs. Really refreshing to see. Well done, Beefeater 👏🏻 We will be returning soon!

The staff were very friendly really very helpful nothing was too much trouble. We will eat there again really enjoyed it.

Had a mixed grill, the steak was overcooked, and they did replace it, which took a long time and not medium rare. Otherwise, everything else was good.

Ordered a rib eye and came well done. I ordered it medium rare. The manager called Ian sorted it out in a crack. Can't praise him and the staff for effort and enthusiasm. Service I'd grest staff are brilliant.

Had a breakfast here this morning and the hot food was dreadful. The poached eggs had an over cooked yolk but a very slimy white, all of which was cold. The bacon was cold and only just edible. The mushrooms were cold and dried out. The sausages were a bit too well done. The hash brown was over cooked. The beans were probably the only part I enjoyed. The continental selection was lovely, all fresh ingredients and plenty to choose from. The wait time from ordering to food arriving was longer than expected. Overall a really poor experience and will never return to a beefeater for breakfast again.

Had the (7 or 8!) Mushroom stack which came with chips, half a baked potato, 2 rings of Corn on the cob, gherkins, tomatoes, salad leaves and BBQ sauce. It was tasty, but a bit much.

Had lunch today at the springwood park beefeater excellent food really good price.had 2 main meals 2 delicious desserts and 2 drinks for just under £27.Would definitely recommend it

Food was raw, when informing the duty manager he told me i was wrong and needed to google the difference between a chicken vein and raw chicken. Meal was taken off the bill but i wasnt offered to order anything else. Was made to feel very intimidated and uncomfortable. manager and another staff member were smirking and shaking their heads at me after i had sent food back. Really poor customer service especially from a 'duty manager'

Such a shame about this place, some lovely touches and good looking menu, let down by a very loud manager, slow service and food that well was nothing like the pictures and looked rather chucked together like it was made by the local fast food take away. Not a nice sit down eatery. Could be great but I won't be rushing back in a hurry to see if things have improved, and it's a shame.
