It is a lovely traditional plant nursery with very keen prices, and the plants are well cared for. The tea room is lovely, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Very good value, with a good pot of quality tea and a generous slice of cake. Will return.

We visited for the first and last time earlier this month. The plants for sale were of good quality and seemed good value too. We were happy with our purchases. Decided to stop for light lunch. When we ordered soup and sandwich we were told minimum 20 mins wait although they were not busy. I waited quite some time at the counter before being acknowledged, let alone being served. At no point during our visit was a smile or any joy evidenced by the staff. The food was Ok and our expectations were not exceeded. Its only 6 miles from where we live, it might as well be 60!

Ordered 3 savoury cheese scone teas with 2 scones, plus 1 sandwich 2 teapots arrived with parely enough for 2 cups despite us challenging the pots as they arrived Then the 3 scones separate orders arrived with just 1 scone on each - I immediately queried how we had paid for 2 scones !! Apologies received but then when they brought the extra scones as paid for we didn’t get the extra accompaniments so the cream cheese was insufficient, we also had to ask for butter We eat there almost every week and have always had amazing service from Sue but it really has gone downhill with service from younger people who don’t know what they’re doing and can’t even be civil with a smile Sadly will will try elsewhere

Fabulous plants at affordable prices. Everything we looked at was healthy, watered and looked great. Didn’t need plants but I’m sure I can find a dot!

We went on opening time last Sunday and were first in. Lovely place with very helpful and friendly staff, lots of choice. Teas are served on tables surrounded by plant sales tables which was a new one on me but pretty innovative surrounded by all that colour and smell.

In an unassuming nursery in Crowle sits a little gem of a place for coffee/tea & home made cakes. We sat outside amongst the plants for sale and enjoyed a bit of peace & quiet on a lazy Sunday morning.

Firstly lets say that the owners totally non flexible policies are unusual to say the least. My wife could not have a taste of the wine that was offered by the glass - that was a new one on us as every other pub we've been to for dinner has allowed to see if the wine was acceptable. The menu is limited - my wife had the chicken pie and chips. Clearly pre cooked and frozen. Not dissimilar to what we could get at Aldo but no match for an M&S pie. I had the chicken and ribs platter. As I find pub chicken breast to be generally very dry, I asked for that NOT to be served (no point in wasting it). I suggested that they might throw on a couple of extra onion rings but guess what. NO as the owner does not allow ANY substitutions. No worries. Anyway the meal was very disappointing and breached the trades description act. The menu clearly states a half rack of ribs. A Pig has 14 ribs each side so any mathematician would tell you that half of 14 is 7. There were 5. They were not particularly meaty. The wings were covered in a sauce which was different from the sauce on the ribs so a strange mix of flavours. Popcorn chicken was overcooked and dry. Beer was good, fries were good, service was pleasant but not good enough to makeup for the deficiencies so no, we wont we going back or recommending the place.

Called in on a Saturday afternoon expecting a family atmosphere but over crowded with pensioners looking like a scene from Jurassic Park. No ventilation and was extremely stuffy I guess to keep the oldies happy. Seating outside but very limited. Food and drinks expensive for what you get and muffin might be baked on the premises but over baked I’m afraid ! Staff pleasant and a great location, but hot stuffy and expensive.
