I don't normally do reviews but I was just so impressed with the pumpkin festival experience here I had to. We didn't book but could pay for entry on arrival. The pumpkin patch, fun farm and tractor ride were all amazing! I would also like to give a special thank you to the wizard who gave my son a walk down the trick or treat area between the live shows since he really struggles with crowds. You've given him such an amazing experience he was talking about you the rest of the day! I will definitely be returning to churchfields again soon.

We came today for the Halloween experience and I was so shocked at the price! £25 for myself and my 3 year old daughter. I paid thinking that the day was going to be worth the price but I was sadly mistaken. We started with the pumpkin trail and had to pay an additional £4 for the pumpkin, which I assumed was going to be part of the entry free. Then we were told to head over to the tractor ride which again was an additional £2 per person! So what have I actually paid for? The wooden park was too big for my daughter to use so she went on a swing. The bounce pillows had no supervision so adults were on both the small and larger pillows causing little children to fly off. The sand pit was okay. We then went to see the animals which consisted of 1 sheep, a few goats and donkeys. And there was the 'fun farm' which consisted of big go karts that my daughter was too small to use, r8ng toss and a football goal. I have left feeling completely underwhelmed and still wondering what I actually paid for? There are other local businesses that offer a lot more value for money. Unfortunately I will not be returning.

Having visited Churchfields plenty over the years, this summer I was left highly disappointed. It is clearly no longer value for money - £10 per child and £7 per adult is extortionate for quite little activities and in comparison with similar local businesses. The playground tractor structure is dangerous and inaccessible for most little ones, thus already losing value when children can’t play. There is no safety supervision on dangerous equipment, with much older children (teens) on the bouncy pillows with under6s. In addition as they are focused on making money more than experience, they let too many people in. We couldn’t get a go on the go karts despite waiting over 15 mins (which our ticket price is meant to cover) and the toilet queue was extremely long which also meant they were not cleaned or maintained by their own staff, let alone easy to get to! I checked the cleaning sheets and it had not been done all day (we left at 4). Two of the toilets used had no soap (despite it being a farm and handwashing is essential). The only real joy of the day came from the fairy trail which the children loved, and some genuinely delicious ice cream which was fairly priced. I tried to speak to management on the day but the girl I spoke to said she would get someone and no one came. I tried calling after our visit and it just rang out too. I would prefer a refund but they clearly want to avoid even engaging with their customer!!

We booked an afternoon tea for 3 people. On arrival it was extremely hectic and took some time to find a member of staff to assist us and show us to our table. The staff were polite and efficient once we were noticed. The food itself was mediocre, I felt there was an imbalance between the savoury and sweet selection, meaning there were a lot of very sweet, sponge based cakes and only a very small amount of finger sandwiches, the scones and jam were nice. We were offered boxes to bring home the remaining cakes, which we accepted. It wasn’t bad as such, but I wouldn’t go again,

Today's experience was not good. The prices have gone up and yet my children, 6 and 8 were bored within 20mins. There was more.to do when we visited a few years ago and it was cheaper. I think they might be making improvements but to keep the prices so high? I'm sure once word gets round they will lose custom. Adults should be far cheaper than £7 in my opinion, considering that all they do is sit around and buy expensive food/drink.

The facilities are good and the play area for kids is great BUT I don't think it's worth the money, we easily spent £60. Entry to the farm park was £28 online which we didn't know about until we got there, sadly never thought to look before arriving. You're paying for your kids to have access to the play area but can't understand why adults are being charged so much as you're literally there just watching your kids and then with the food on top you end up spending so much money. Would rather spend the money elsewhere, where both adults and kids a like get to enjoy themselves. Don't see us visiting again anytime soon.

We have visited churchfields many times with our children and had a lovely day. Today we attended the Easter egg extravaganza the day cost us £55 on prepaid tickets. On arrival one area was closed to due to damaged room, the Easter activities were poor and poorly organised. There was no staff around to interact with the children apart from the show which again was of poor quality. This is a real disappointment when you have paid £55. We went to the lambing live event. The animals are undercover and the farmers are in and out every so often, no issues with welfare whatsoever. I would have thought that the farm would have set some seating up so that people are comfortable whilst waiting for the ewes to lamb. There are 20 animals due so the likelihood of actually seeing a birth is pretty slim, really. I feel like the event is a bit over- stated. The animal paddocks were closed so we couldn’t look around them unfortunately. Just a bit overpriced. The ice cream was delicious and they don’t do a bad coffee, but again, quite expensive.

Queud up to order ice cream to then be told to join another queue to actually tell another person what flavours we wanted, surely ordering and paying and collecting an ice cream can be done in one transaction? Had a wonderful time at the Pumpkin festival. Only criticism and its quite a big one is you have to queue after the show for Trick or Treat Street. We must have been waiting half hour to go in. Honestly it was absolutely ridiculous. Last year was so much better where you didnt have to queue behind what was probably 100+ people crazy! Show was busy ended up sat on the cold muddy floor. It wouldn't stop us going again and it still was a lovely day out but be warned if you are at the back of the queue you are in for a very long wait! Unfortunately due to that we missed the maze. I would rate that part 1 star but the rest was great. The witches from the show were brilliant and it was great to see them around the farm afterwards. Last years show was great they played music and games. If you sort that out for next year it would be amazing despite the rain.

The event was pretty good for kids and some good photo opportunities, but the restaurant was poor and the food quality bad. First time visiting here, we came in a group of 5, we ordered our drinks and a man approached the table with our drinks, he did not seem approachable at all, he then got the drinks mixed up, so we tried to confirm what they were but instead he just spoke over us and said "they must of put it in the wrong cup" and he turned round and walked off. I then felt the need to go upto him and explain that the way he approached the table was rather rude (which I never do) and could be confirm if in fact that was the correct drink, he did confirm but I felt there was no acknowledgement for the way he acted, I understand the job may be stressful at times, but if you cannot hold your customer service together whilst within that job, maybe you arent in the right job at all. First popped into the Cafe on the way to the m50 for a pitstop about 12 months ago.oOn that occassion ordered a jacket potato with cheese. Took 40 mins and then it had cream cheese covered with a birds dropping size of hard cheese. Disgusting. Called in again this weekend as driver was hungry and ordered 2 lots of salad sandwich, a sausage roll and a slice of cake. Cost, 24.00. Asked for mayo but didn't have any. Sandwich consisted of two slices of dried bread and the salad was a lettuce leaf, a chunk of tomatoe and a slice of cucumber. Barely covered the meat but meat was OK, 2 slices of ham. Put together by a 4 year old by the looks of it. Cake was good though. However in future I will be using the mobile snack bar in the nearby lay-by if he's there next time I'm passing.
