We were a party of 9... three generations all celebrating a special birthday. There was a wide choice on the menu and everyone enjoyed the meals they had chosen. We were served very quickly and all at the same time, which doesn't always happen with a large group. Full marks to the staff for their efficiency, helpfulness and friendliness. Special mention to Rhona, our waitress and Jade the chef whom we met too. I congratulated her on her Hunter's Chicken dish, which was the best I had tasted ever!

A thank you to Rhona for a lovely first experience and for a perfect breakfast. You can expect to see me regularly from now on!

Staff were lovely! Put us in a nice quiet area and even though they were very busy they still made sure we were looked after ☺️ will definitely come back next time I'm in Stirling

Cosy quiet restaurant. Food is ok. I have yet to see another place that serves katsu chicken curry with rice AND chips. Underwhelming. We ordered the hunter’s chicken and it came with 10, yes, 10 pieces of chips. We complained and got 6 more…whooohoo! Ribeye steak was good, and so was steak sandwich, but again miserly portions of fries. Nachos was overcooked too. Must do better if they want me back…

So brought the girls to the soft play area, to be told they couldn't get in as it was full . We had been to nearly every soft play by this point . So we decided to get food and go home . Our server Josh was absolutely fantastic I told him what happened and he said the girls could go in to the soft play , he took the thorough no question asked . He was so friendly and very helpful. The food was fantastic aswell . We will definitely be back . Brilliant service

Modern sports bar near Stirling Albion FC. I did not try the food as just there for a quick drink. Clean and tidy with good service.

Conveniently if you are staying at the hotel and the food is good (although our fries and onion rings were not hot) - pleasant staff.

Katsu chicken curry and haggis neeps and tatties pretty dry. Cauliflower starter lukewarm. Service was prompt and accurate, but goodness me, please do something about the door banging every time a staff member moves between the kitchen and dining room.

Popped in for Sunday lunch had the hand carved turkey it was beautifully presented on my plate The staff are a very friendly bunch from the General Manager to the serving staff

Visiting Stirling and we had Mediocre food served by actually quite a rather lovely girl, the young girl who served me was absolutely lovely and very honest and open about the poor (by the looks of it lack of) management, to the extent staff were quitting on the spot!! Spoke with fellow guests at the hotel opposite the pub and they also agreed the management are very, very poor. From what I hear it is a woman with short hair who is the head of the place, would explain quite a bit seeing as she was spotted walking aimlessly around smiling for the sake of smiling until a problem occurred Really to be honest the staff here deserves so much better, and for the price we pay so do the customers. From intentional short staffing to microwaved food this chain and its big boss(‘s?) only have one goal and it’s to milk every last penny out of the place and their minimum wage staff. All too common in the hospitality industry but this place is next level even by Greene Kings awful reputation. I thank the young lass for her very honest conversation and wish her and her fellow colleagues all the best, but me and my wife will not be back.

This is the worst food I have had so far this year. I stay in hotels 3 times per week, all over the UK and eating out 4 times per week. I ordered a gluten-free chicken stack burger. After 30 minutes of waiting, I enquired to learn that the staff member had forgotten to put the order through the till. Once ordered again, the food arrived. The bun was replaced with 2 slices of bread cut into a circle. The meat was solid and not fresh, I'd say, reheated in the microwave. It was disgusting, and I binned it. This dish cost £15.99. I attempted to share my disgust, and no one seemed interested. Never will I eat here again. 13/03/24: I said never again.... I was seeing a client site and was with a colleague who wanted to have a quick bite to eat. We had been driving since 1pm and arrived here at 6 pm, so we needed food quickly before attending the site at 7 pm. We ordered the pie and chips (see photos). As we ordered, we heard an elderly couple on the next table complaining that their food was not to standard. A manager attended, and we heard him say that the fois is pre-prepared and warmed up in a microwave or an air fryer. They had a refund. Our pie and chips arrived. I pulled out 4 small pieces of meat from my pie. It was mostly pastry and gravy. We complained and a member of staff said she would tell the manager. We watched her tell the manager, a male wearing black trousers, a grey shirt, a bald head, he and other staff were laughing. This was disgusting and unprofessional behaviour. We spoke with staff at our hotel (holiday inn), and they also confirmed that many if the guest complain about the pub food and staff. This time, I am definitely reporting this to Greene King to investigate further.

Didn't go into the pub itself, but the soft play extension on the side. Great idea with lots of equipment to keep the little (and not so little ) ones entertained while you enjoy a coffee or drink from the bar. The grandson loved it!

Mothers Day Lunch here today , got taken to a lovely booth and given a beautiful pink peony rose as it was Mothers Day . Food was great very tasty and home made Yorkshire pudding ! Service we received from a young lad named Josh was excellent, very polite and attentive . Lovely experience and a lovely way to spend a special Day . Thank you 💐

We've ate here a couple times now and definitely weren't disappointed, consider it a slightly better wetherspoon pub.... The atmosphere lacked a little due to the lack of customers but our dining experience was a positive one, my wife ate the Katsu curry which was delicious, portion size was generous and the buttermilk crispy chicken was cooked perfectly BUT price was quite steep. I decided to try the brand new "Steak Sandwich" on the menu which didn't disappoint, I wish they'd asked a cooking preference on the meat but the flavours were great, good amount of meat, beef dripping gravy was fantastic and the skin on fries were crispy, just the way I like them and believe it or not it was cheaper than the curry so can't complain. My only criticism of this place is the price could really stack up with multiple courses for what appears to be a budget friendly pub/grill that appears to be in the family friendly market, if it was slightly cheaper we'd return far more often.

Went for a quick bite in the early afternoon,menu was varied and good had the steak and ale pie brilliant,the woman serving us was polite very efficient and friendly surroundings were clean and most of all it was warm in s right blustery day ,will be back , excellent service.

Tried to give 17£ in old £1 coins to their "Macmillan Cancer Support" although is well known many charities are happy to accept old £1 coins Springkerse View - Pub & Grill did not "support any charity". Maybe cab driver tomorrow will take them of my hands.

Pleasant ambience. Food average. Chips weren't great, daughter didn't enjoy the kids pizza - too soggy. We were in there 2 hours because it took that long to get 3 courses. Staff very nice. Not too expensive.

1st visit there for me. However, my niece & 2 great-nieces have been before, it wás great. The girls thoroughly enjoyed it too.

Attended the play area and had brunch. The food was delish with lots of options! And all the staff have been really lovely. Would defo recommend :)

Food was way over what I expected, can't recommend enough. Comfortable and good service. Well ran place, well worth a visit.

Good menu choice but disappointed in the food. Very obviously microwaved haggis neeps and tatties. Premises was cold and had zero atmosphere at lunchtime. Won't rush back tbh.

Great part of this place is their soft play area. It's quite large, mostly clean. It's not free, £4.50 per child (last time I went). If you sit there prepare yourself as it's very loud! However, your kids have fun while you eat. The service is a bit slow, sometimes food don't come together but overall it's a great place to go with kids. The main restaurant area is modern and cosy. Food is good, large portions.

Food was good, staff were friendly. Few small issues with steaks being under/over cooked but everything else was great. Nice to find a dog friendly pub. An overall good experience and would return.

Such helpful +friendly staff who were briefed to ensure that the food served was allergen specific. The food was excellent and the restaurant seemed well set up to accommodate birthday parties, sports teams, family gatherings etc. Dogs are also allowed into some seating areas. Children have plenty of play spaces. Lots of parking near the door, downstairs loos, mock and cocktails, lunch specials M-F - wide aisles for wheelchair/zimmer access.

Ate here a few times, always a nice place to go for something to eat. Far better than the one in Alloa. I say that because both are Greene Kings.

Horrendous!! Not only were we waiting ages to be severed our next courses (40mins between starter plates getting cleared and main course arriving, which with a two year old is no use) but the quality of the food was just unacceptable. Chicken wings that were so bland and watery, tiger prawns that were undercooked and had to be sent back, steak pies that were colder than the plate they arrived on and the batter that was on the chicken burger looked and tasted like the bottom of the fryer just dirty and greasy. Drink orders only coming out half at a time then having to ask multiple times for the rest of the order. Went here as a family for a birthday meal for our 2-3 year old and we’re so saddened by the whole experience, asked them to bring the cake out and it took them nearly 20mins to find a lighter to light the candles and when the cake finally arrived they had managed to set fire to the cake topper which meant we had to blow it out before I melted and ruined the £200 cake. Overall really bad service with no regard to the customers as most of the time the staff are to busy having a laugh and a joke at the bar or at the till, and just an extremely poor quality of food being served.

Was in the wacky warehouse, staff really helpful my meal was 8 Oz steak well done it came to table red inside, chips over cooked, onion ring nest was nearly black, tomato raw . Wife ordered roast beef dinner, it came , the beef was thick, chewy and full of fat, stuffing and roast potatoes were hard, 2 kids meals were ok , just , the staff took money off our bill but if we knew we wouldn't have ordered food as we paid for 2 kids in play area

Visited on New Year's days, staff were wonderful.

Good entree and main course, excellent dessert. Toilets are a wee tired but some good character is still hanging about. Very jam packed because it’s Christmas Day. No Christmas Dinner available but lunches were available. Friendly staff. Overall, nothing too special but is a good gold standard place. Still recommended for tourists.

I went to the soft play with my niece and nephews ranging from 7 to 12 years. We also had food. The kids' meals were good but didn't fill any of the kids up. The adults' meals consisted of nachos, which was amazing and such a big plateful, the salmon, which my 90 year old mum had, was very poor regarding the amount, she doesn't eat much but asked for some of my fries as there wasn't enough on her plate to fill her up. I had bang, bang, cauliflower, and fries, which was more than enough for me. The soft play was big enough to keep the kids amused for the 2 hours we were there.

Was there today for Xmas lunch. Staff were very polite but had to wait 1hr for the starter, the st.nicks burger was not as described and huge chip out dinner plate.

Highly recommended this place if you want a "restaurant" that has a large proportion of it's menu unavailable and/or a roast dinner with cold veg, soggy Yorkshire pudding and a small slab of concrete for stuffing. Absolutely horrendous quality.

Buon cibo sopra la media rispetto ad altri Pub locali. Normalmente un Pub serve da bere e da mangiare. Qui ho dei seri dubbi che sia così visto che alle 19:30 sono fortemente infastiditi nel servire da bere e da mangiare.

Spent a few nights in this pub. The food and atmosphere are good and most of the staff are very friendly. Was a little surprised that the more customers who come for dinner the more upset the staff get, but apparently this is normal in the UK in pub chains (in Italy restaurant are owners are happy to welcome as many customers they can). Went in last night just for drinks, I was asked: 'how many are there of you as we are short staffed to serve drinks'. There were 2 of us and 4 staff behind the bar. Was very keen to tell us that they were closing at 22 (it was 19.30). Never felt so unwelcome in a pub before.

We were in for a family meal on Saturday evening 09/12/23. Staff are super friendly, food was perfect in a relaxed atmosphere. 😍

Myself and my partner are in this establishment for the whole 4 days we were up in Stirling...What a lovely bunch of staff that work there.You all went above and beyond to help us with everything including my allergy.But most of all how friendly and welcoming you made us feel for this weekend.I even bought the Rose wine home that I was drinking on this weekend because it was so nice..Many thanks to u all.Paula n peter from wales n liverpool...xxx

It was actually not that bad by looks and tastes etc.

I come here with my family quite often. I always make a booking just in case it's busy. My wife is a wheelchair user so I always ask for a suitable area for her wheelchair which is never a problem. The staff are lovely and the food is really good.

Place was quiet, we were seated then must've been forgotten about as didn't get a menu for about 15-20 mins until I managed to get the attention of the waiter, food arrived pretty quickly after ordering. food was very nice, staff were friendly. after the meal I was overcharged as the item I ordered was unavailable but they hadn't taken it off the bill, the waitress was very apologetic and got her manager to get me a refund. the refund process is to refund the full bill and then have me pay for the bill minus the item I didn't receive, 5 days and I am still waiting on the refund, there was just 2 of us so the incorrect bill was £56 and the revised bill was £42 but if it was a larger party with larger bill paying twice might not be an option for some people. this place has been owned by different companies over the years and had its ups and downs but the food was definitely on the up with the current owner

Popped in here with the Wife for a wee bite to eat, I ordered the Mini Grille and the Wife had Hunters Chicken, waiting on our order the table in front of us both had Fish and Chips, but they called the waitress over to complain that both their Fish were cold inside and the Chips just warm... We had a chat with them and after the Manager came out to see if they would order anything else, they said not to bother, the manager even tried offering them a packet of Crisps, Oops. I cringed on hearing this.. They left and wished us the best on our orders... On getting ours the Mini Grille was just warm and the Hunters Chicken was burnt to a crisp, the waitress came over and asked us if the meals were OK, and the Wife told her, well look at my dinner, when the wife stuck her fork in the chicken the full thing lifted out the bowl.. The manager came out and offered to do another meal for her , but by this time we were just wanting to be left alone and leave.. I wasn't going to leave a review , but reading back 5 Years it looks like nothings getting better in the Kitchen, and are not learning from what feed back their getting...

Been here three times now, so feel qualified to leave an objective review. The staff here are very friendly and provide great service. I cannot fault them. They deserve to be tipped, however the billing and pay system here does not allow adding a tip to the bill. That needs to be fixed. The menu appears to be expansive, but it’s really not. It’s hard to find something simple. Even worse, the actual food often falls well short of the menu descriptions. The scampi looks and tastes store bought. The apple crumble is essentially stewed apples with some oatmeal crumble sprinkled on top and slid under a toaster. The custard is thin and tastes artificial. The breaded fish is quite greasy. In appearance, quality and taste, this food is not even close to what it should be. Considering the prices charged here, i expect better. I can get a meal at my privately owned local pub for the same price and everything will be made from scratch. Lovely staff. It’s a shame they have to suffer from the mediocre food. It’s tolerable, but it’s not up to the standard it should be. Considering everything, I would be inclined to give this place a pass the next time I’m in Stirling.

We come here quite often. Food is good, but miss the service from Jacko as he is a really good waiter! He is really friendly and sociable. He should be serving customers more often as that position suits him best.

Never again will I be back waited 15 minutes to be served other people came in after us and got served before us so we walked out

Decent food and menu shame you need to book the softplay in advance. Had a few disappointed kids to contend with that day.

Für englische Verhältnisse waren die Spare Ribs und das Hühnchen ganz ok, die Pommes waren fast das Highlight, die Beilagen hätte man besser direkt schon in der Küche entsorgt, der Nachtisch war dafür ganz gut. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und schnell - das Ambiente gemütlich - ähnlich eines US-Diners.

Not on my list of places to return to.

Wir übernachten im Hotel gegenüber und haben hier zu Abend gegessen. Das Essen war lecker, die Bedienung äußerst freundlich, die Getränke gekühlt und das gesamte Restaurant einladend. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

The waiter was ignorant and assertive. Made the vibe uncomfortable from the get go. Then after everyone was served at there table for drinks we ordered at the counter. And awkwardly enough the same situation for food. When the meals came out they were cold. Room temp wouldve been a privilege. This is just my opinion and others may be different. The kitchen may have had a bad day and the waiter may have not been on point this 1 time, but I find it hard to believe that all these downfalls are just a 1 time occasion

Decent sized softplay, was not maned all the time, had to wait quite sometime to get in and out, toilets were out of order so had to use one in the main bar which wasn't ideal.

Great food, service was excellent and lots of vegan choices

We arrived without reservations & was told no problem. We were seated immediately. Our server was a good surprise. Unfortunately I didn't get her name. It was around 6:00 pm on Thursday the 31st of August. She went out of her way to make our experience there exceptional. The food was beyond any PUB food we have had since traveling. If you are in the Sterling, Scotland area I would highly recommend you stop in.We had the steak & bbq platter. We left full & happy.

Family outing good choice of pub food

The serving staff were lovely, one girl in particular was so nice getting an ice pack for our granddaughter when she hurted herself in the soft play... The food was ok, I had the macaroni cheese with burnt ends, it was nice enough but was disappointed with the childs size of the portion, it came in a small rectangular dish and was barely a half inch deep. The absolute best bit there was for the kids, the soft play, and the very pleasant serving staff

Practically self service . Get a menu n go bk up to order. Food was ok . Staff clear the table n you've no even finished your dish .. so it 3.5 from me

To be perfectly honest food was great but service was a bit lacking, our food was served but we had to ask for cutrelry and condiments

1st thing the , admittedly lovely, waitress did was to rhyme off every thing they didn't have.....and it was a lot. Asked for water and was informed there was no ice..no probs....until they brought the drinks out...water for me...diet coke for my wife....no ice in mine....but a load of ice in my wife's. Nacho sharer was good....mains, however...stale chips...tasteless gammon steak...with no pineapple which said came with it...wife's Hunters Chicken was incenerated...very disappointed

Shocking service. Treated as a kid with plastic cups. Portion sizes for a kid and charged for an adult. Missed out someone’s meal. What meals came out were almost cold. Such a shame as we have used the place for years with no hassles. Sharp decline since last there. Won’t be back.

Arrived early and were well looked after, then the football buses arrived. Table booked for 6pm, waited from 5.55pm to 6.20pm at the bar having spoke to staff on several occasions, who were well aware just wanted to order food. The four staff behind the bar were working their socks off, could have had double on at least knowing what was coming. One was still doing table service for drinks when people waiting that long just to order. Food came quick enough and was all good. If going to make a fortune from visiting supporters put on enough staff to provide an efficient service.

Disgraceful service. 3 ladies doing their best behind the bar for well over 100 people, at least half an hour to get served a drink. Would not recommend.

Girl on arrival was very rude, we were sent through to the soft play area for food and we kindly declined and asked for a table in the main restaurant. Boy with blondish hair who severed us was very nice and professional. I ordered the roast beef(served pink) well supposed to be. It was so tough, veg was lukewarm. Side dish of pigs in blankets was literally a big pork sausage with a slice of back at the side 🤣 Chicken with bbq sauce was dry and scabby handful of chips. Kids meals were also poor. We defo won't be back. Worst £50 we have spent on food.

Went in today. Very nice staff and a nice pint. But the food was just awful. Everything felt reheated or days old. If I wasn't so hungry after travelling it would have been left.

Came in and got seated. Our server was Simon. He was always happy and so polite to talk to. We ordered our drinks straight away and they was very patient when we was ordering our food. We got a steak and two plates of the gammon. All cooked to perfection and came out in good time. Couldn't recommend this restaurant more. Will be back again.

Went today for lunch with my friend, we had lunch menu. I got Salmon with potatoes with slither of lemon no veg very disappointed in portion size. Desert was crumble with custard very nice but not enough custard. Almost £16. Left hungry.

From the time you walk into the door, it's so warm and welcoming. Had the wings as a starter. The meat melted right off the bone.

Came for The sticky toffee pudding and Baby Guinness. The sticky toffee pudding was incredible. We were visiting from the US. Met Rhona here at Spingkerse View, she was super fun and friendly. She taught me the proper way to hold up two fingers without offending anyone. When asked how many people in my party I said 2 and held up 2 fingers, the wrong way. Good fun fun tho. Come and see Rhona, she's awesome.

We had a great time at Springkerse with a large family booking. Simon and the team handled the chaos of us being there very well and we all had a great time and were well catered to. Thanks again!

Travelled up from Oxford to Blairgowrie to do the Cateran Yomp. Stayed in Stirling on the way back and visited this eatery on recommendation. The Stars go to 5 but I would give 6! I chose the 12oz steak and complements to the Chef. Absolutely perfect! Tender, and very tasty as was the new Argentinian sauce I chose. All the staff are a credit to the business for their efficiency and politeness. Looking forward to coming here again. Well done all… Thank you
