Great pub, fantastic staff, felt really welcome, food was outstanding, Leanne made us feel welcome, will definitely be back

The staff were really friendly and welcoming Don't get me wrong, this is not a cordon bleu restaurant, but very comfortable and large servings and reasonable prices

I came back to Corn Exchange after a lovely first visit. Once again such a lovely atmosphere and welcoming from the staff. The young girl who’s name I believe to be Emma ,who welcomed and served us was able to recommend lagers to my partner and also some different flavoured gins for myself! The food again was great, so great in fact that we were there for so long we actually ordered twice!! That app is dangerous. Even though it was a quiet Sunday night the atmosphere and feeling if the place is lovely and cosy.

Visited here recently on a Saturday afternoon. Made to feel very welcome and service friendly and efficient. Superb atmosphere too and reasonably priced - next time we’re visiting Stirling we’ll definitely return. First class Covid cleanliness too. Thanks guys!

Food was amazing, so different to the sort of stuff you usually get to eat. Service was really impressive as well food was prepared fast and staff were friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to eat or sit outside and get drinks!

I visited Corn Exchange a few nights ago to watch a football game, it was my first visit since it had reopened after lockdown and I must say they really have improved the place. The bar and seating area looks amazing with televisions in a few booths, which was perfect for us watching some football. We were given the option of table service or using the app which we opted for and was relatively simple to navigate and handy to use as you could order whenever you wanted. We also had some dinner which consisted of a few different dishes including fish, vegetarian options, burgers and the star of the show was the dirty fries and chicken wings!! They were to die for and all pretty decently priced. I must say they place looks and feels leaps and bounds better than it used to and I’ll definitely be back for some good food and well poured pints! The great service was a cherry on top!

When we first entered we were greeted by a handsome young man by the name of Alex, who promptly showed us to a great table in a prime location, right next to the window but within view of the TV so as we could watch Germany versus Hungary. We ordered some food, which was excellent and delivered by a man with great presence who we both assumed was the manager, a well kept and polite gentleman. Alex went above and beyond, delivering drinks and providing small talk to keep us entertained even cleaning the table which became sticky due to slight spillage of drinks. Overall this was wonderful experience and I would recommend to anyone looking first class service, a unique pint due to the wide range of premium drafts and the tasty the food! Great job Alex and the well kept polite gentleman!!!

Wow. What can I say about my third jaunt to fair old Stirling. This would be the trifecta in my vists, the cream of the cob. The castle in Primary 3 did not compare to Cold Beer Company and likewise Korn Exchange is a different vibe from Cold Beer. I had heard that this one time nightclub, now turned trendy day bar was opening for the start of Scotlands campaign in the Euros. So I travelled through to see what this Greene King establishment had to offer. While outside I noticed their quaint beer garden, while a loud helicopter that I can only presume was an Apache. Circled above possibly for a Battle of Bannockburn modernisation. Upon entry I couldn't help but notice that the place looked fresh, inviting and had massive TVs that could capture every facial expression of David Marshall. A daper looking young man took me to a seat and asked me to scan the QR code for the NHS track and trace. I joked telling him it was infringing my rights as a human to be traced. He didn't seem pleased. Maybe my tone was a little off. None the less I waited to order a drink. A bartender approached with long curly hair and a strong build. He looked similar to Jonathan Davis from that Nu Metal band in the 90s who's name escapes me. He tried to sell me on the German beer ABK but I wasn't having it. "GIVE ME SOMETHING SCOTTISH" I yelled, while everyone cheered. He smirked and brought me back a glass of water. So I ordered a West 4. I knew I would need to try the menu here at Korn Exchange but I just told the bartender to give me anything that had corn on the menu. He said there were no options with corn. I asked "not even popcorn" he shook his head. At this point I knew that ultimately I would have to read the menu. He recommended the Beyond Meat Vegan burger to which I said "How did you know I was Vegan?". He didn't. I ordered this fine piece of dining created by the top scientists in the world and waited for 10 minutes. I never caught the bartenders name but for all intents and purposes we will call him Jonathan. In those 10 minutes I just couldn't help thing that he was maybe some kind of clairvoyant. The burger arrived and I fell in love. I wolfed it down, paid up and got on my way. Thanks to all the staff at Korn Exchange keep up the good work and have fun upon reopening.

I visited The Corn Exchange today, combining a business lunch with watching the Scotland match. A very warm welcome on arrival and great to see the wonderful work that has been carried out during lockdown, plenty of screens to watch the sport, great selection of world beers and a fantastic new menu. The food was delicious, great atmosphere , very helpful and informative staff.This is going to be a very popular place to visit in Stirling Ii am already looking forward to coming back with my family and friends.

For a Friday night, this place was empty. The music was poor and the atmosphere isn’t great. It will have to do better if it is going to compete with other pubs and bars in Stirling. Perhaps it just wasn’t my cup of tea.

An empty pub with sticky floors and over priced beer lacking in atmosphere. Would advise the management to invest in a mop and bucket. Would advise everyone else to go elsewhere

Visité esta tarde el 20 de septiembre de 2019, el lugar estaba vacío, no había atmósfera ni ambiente, era un lugar muerto y esperaría que esto cerrara para siempre. Este lugar ha pasado de 7 días a 2 días a la semana, lo cual es una pena. Simplemente porque para una ginebra y una pinta cuesta 9. 80 (precios de Londres y Edimburgo), mientras que al otro lado de la carretera en las estaciones meteorológicas y el número 2 por 3 menos, este lugar debe evitarse. Tenga cuidado o contento de pagar el precio.

Salimos en pareja a tomar unas copas después de una buena comida. Apareció en el intercambio de maíz y eso fue todo. Nunca fui a ningún otro lugar debido al gran ambiente en este pub. La música fue brillante y el personal fue muy amable. Si alguien quiere un lugar para divertirse, este es el lugar.

Pasamos un día en Stirling hace unas semanas y nuestro plan era ir a un par de bares. Fuimos a Corn Exchange como nuestro primer puerto de escala, ya que habíamos oído hablar de los deliciosos cócteles. Terminamos pasando nuestro día aquí. Ambiente increíble, buenas bebidas. Había un cantante que trajo a la multitud. Lo pasamos tan bien aquí que no queríamos mudarnos a otra parte.

As fundraiser of Stirling University football club, we hosted a quiz night at the Corn Exchange. This was the second fundraiser of the year we hosted at Corn Exchange and we were not disappointed. Not only did they open up especially for us, we were supplied with everything we needed for the Quiz, such as a mic and sound system. The bar staff and management were amazing and so helpful on the night and even participated in the quiz and the fun. Neither I or the club have any complaints about the night and will definitely be back.

Excellent range of products. Lovely ambience. Visit here on an almost weekly basis with friends. Friendly, attentive bar staff (there’s a particularly handsome little cheeky chappy, if only 40 years younger!!!) Highly recommend, best bar in Stirling

Again a couple of chilled pints of Peroni, which were delightful. Corn Exchange is a go 2 place in Stirling. Simple.

Best music in town! Always a nice atmosphere with very attentive, polite staff. Great selection of drinks to choose from. My fiancée loves the cocktails from here.

El lugar estaba aferrado y apenas era tarde; mesas pegajosas, alfombras sin levantar y el olor comenzó a empeorar (caca). Odiaría pensar cómo eran los baños. ¡No te detengas aquí sin tus inoculaciones y máscara!

An absolutely disgusting mess 10.30pm the toilets both male and female horrible like an open sewer!!

called in prior to a function at albert hall at 2pm, Saturday, dead quiet. no atmosphere. no food. went to toilets upstairs , feet sticking to floors and it smelt like foosty, dampness. quite obviously more a young night time venue which is great if that's what you want. but if they want to encourage daytime customers they need to clean it up a bit, serve food (as advertised on most websites) or don't open in daytime and save on wages to pay staff, who by the way offered me jack daniels when I asked for whiskey and lemonade , I said no have you any scotch whiskey so she gave me jamesons , ice and a SLICE of lemon! need I say more

Good pub grub. By no means anything special, but for an easy feed this place is on our radar. Staff are rather unattentive, but if you like a quiet meal then this won't bother you

My mum, brother and I were there today 1/9/17 for lunch, I had the chicken, bacon and leek pie, the more I ate the pie, the more sickly I felt. The mashed potatoes I got with the pie were so dry that they were sticking to the roof of my mouth. My brother had the hunters chicken, he said the chicken was very dry. My mum had the steak pie, although she said she enjoyed hers, we had to ask for the jug of gravy that was meant to come with it, and when it did come, there was more lumps than there was gravy! We also got the garlic mushrooms, nothing garlic about them, also we never got the dip that was meant to be provided with them ... £40 wasted!! Won't be back there for food.

Had soup the portion was miserable for the money I asked him if they had run out of soup but he said no and said he could put another portion of soup in my dish and charge us for another portion that confirms what was in it too start with we spoke too another member of staff and highlighted it maybe he will change it .

We visited Corn Exchange whilst in Stirling for Crit Under The Castle. The beer garden was an excellent position for viewing whilst having a few light refreshments. Drink prices were reasonable and the bar staff were friendly enough. We didn't eat here but the food...

Un ambiente extrañamente tranquilo conocí a mi llegada a las 2 de la tarde. De hecho yo era el único cliente en este momento. Este pertenece a la cadena de restaurantes/pubs belhaven y a pesar de estar justo entre la parte antigua de la ciudad histórica y la principal zona comercial, parecía estar un poco vacío. Era un día entre semana. mente El restaurante en sí es un poco una mezcla de decoración moderna y tradicional. Parece probablemente le venga a la vida en las noches y puede ser visitado por gente de turistas más. El servicio estaba muy bien, la comida era bastante decente y el menú parece haber sido en gran parte tomada de la cadena que de comer, que también inn ser Belhaven run. No importa, me encanta el pollo, jamón y tarta de puerro de todos modos y tenían el mismo de nuevo aquí. En realidad costó completar dos campos que, junto con dos refrescos por 17 libras, creo. No está mal por el precio.

Tenía un pequeño almuerzo con amigos. Pedimos el queso y Bocadillo Chukney bloomer, había pedido pan integral pero venía con el pan blanco. También pedimos un Capaccino que llegamos llenos hasta los topes, que empapó el azúcar y galletas y sin una servilleta!

Just to finish off my wife's birthday celebrations, we had been to Mamma Mia's for dinner, and had a walk about and followed the sound of music, I've not been in a bar that had a DJ since my early 20's and not far short of 60 now, but the noise was appealing, you can go to some places that serve nice drinks and is a nice atmosphere but who want's to watch the news, it's depressing, so my youth got the better of me and we ventured in, luckily they had the same beer I had been drinking in Mamma Mia's so indulged in that, I got a cocktail followed by numerous drinks including shots and sambuka, not flaming though, all in all a very enjoyable evening had by myself and wife, only one negative and not the music, I did not have a clue what they played, unfortunately the Rose' wine is not very good according to my wife, we still had a great time.

Had the hunters chicken and a couple of pints. Other half had a veggie burger. The girl serving us was really friendly. Felt like my lunch was a bit small. Nice visit though.

Group of us popped in here for a cocktail and at under £4 why not! We arrived at 8:30pm and left at 1am....so much for a wee drink lol! Great music great atmosphere we were hooked and having a booth area certainly help to keep us here! Only issue which we all had our ears were ringing on leaving as speakers point in all directions felt it didn't need to be just as loud. We all commented on the poor staff who have to work in the environment often.

My hubby & I eat here regularly but yesterday was disappointing. Were treating my parents to lunch (they wanted the Outside Inn in Larbert) so we decided to take them to The Corn Exchange as we recommended it. Dad was driving later in the day so on arrival we asked for a non-alcoholic beer to be told they had run out the night before so asked for a non-alcoholic cider and again told there was one bottle left, which we took. Very poor for a restaurant chain. Meals ordered. There was only us and another couple there, they got their meal, ate & left and we were still waiting for our food. Eventually arrived and half way through hers, Mum found a hair in her food which put her off so she sent it back. The young man serving was lovely & couldn't have been more apologetic and he refunded Mums meal as she didn't want another one. The food was good, as always, but such a let down and embarrassing and annoying as we decided to take them there.

After long day came here with my friends. One of lowest prices in Stirling. If you want to spend time in not quite place this is the best option.

My wife and I really enjoyed our visit and we settled for the 2 rump steak and bottle of wine for £22, bargain. Whilst waiting for the meal we had 2 cocktails which were buy 1 get 1 free, 2 Cosmopolitans for £7.98, more of a bargain.The chef came up and apologised that there were no more rump steaks so he had given us the more expensive sirloin steaks instead, how many bargains is that?The barman was very good and made sure that we had everyting we needed.Would definately reccommend as even without the extras it was a good dining experience

Visited this place at lunch which was probably why it was so quiet. We were served well and I had a tikka massala which was excellent. My mum enjoyed her meal as well. Only problem I had with this place was how quiet it was but overall a lovely trip.

Stopped in while visiting friends. The place was very quiet loads of empty tables needing cleared of dirty dishes. Asked a member of staff if we could have out table cleared and was told yes they'd be right over. 20 minutes later having watched staff stand blethering behind the bar not a single table had been cleared. 5 of us ended up walking out and going to a cleaner establishment where we actually got served. Will never visit this wetherspoons again. The WORST we've ever visited.

This was a quaint pub in a cool building. I had the lasagna and did not enjoy it. I would try something different the next time.

this venue was chosen for the wedding reception of my son and daughter in law.we came up from warwickshire england. the mealnwas. wonderfull and the staff absolutely bent over backwards to. accomodate us, especially my autistic grandson.I. honestly cannot. speak highly. enough of the manageress and her team. the young man who played the bagpipes really. made the atmosphere.

We attended our son's wedding reception. We were escorted in by a piper playing the bagpipes, which we really enjoyed. The food was amazing, and the staff were extremely helpful, providing my disabled grandson with a special menu, they gave him a balloon. Can't fault the service.

The Corn Exchange is a great place with some good live music and quite a good array of beers.Kitchen closes by 8pm live most other places. They have a top floor as well and can be quite a rocking place specially on weekends. Good friendly staff. Enjoyed quite a few evenings here.

we decided to stop in here after our trip to the castle the atmosphere once you walk in is nice and friendly the kids loved it the menu gave you plenty of choice and the staff were really friendly and approachable and are a real credit to the place the wait for the meal was minamal considering it is all made fresh on the premises and which also helps with young kids and the food tasted great with a hearty portion and the price was reasonable would definitely recommend this place to my friends and I will definitely be back when I am in town.

Visited with friends. Our first time in Stirling enjoyed a nice pub dinner ordered extra poppadoms for the curry they had to be sent back as were no where near cooked but apart from that had a pleasant visit.

Well-decorated bar with great atmosphere and music. I ordered one of the burgers which was very tasty and ready in good time. Our waitress was so friendly that I asked her name. She was called Anna and wasn't on duty but helped her fellow colleagues take food out. My partner asked what kind of beers there were and a young Irish boy behind the bar was very informative. There were a lot of cocktails to choose from so Johnny the barman recommended the classic mojito and I loved it, it was the best one I have had and I drink them a lot. Great approachable staff and I will definitely be back!!

Went here to meet up with a friend over dinner and drinks. Due to a slight change of plans we had food first and returned later for drinks simply because the place is nice.The menu is the often seen combination of traditional pub food mixed with common favourites and some of the 2 mains for £ deals but the food was good and well presented. Definitely better than most similar places.Prices for both food and drinks are reasonable and you won't be disappointed if you decide to visit.

Amazing strawberry daiquiri at an amazing price! My husband and I were celebrating our 8 year wedding anniversary so decided to head in to town for some celebration drinks. I have to say hadn't been in here in a long time but we ordered our drinks and sat in a comfy booth next to the window. Great service! We then decided to have couple of games of pool which was a great wee bonus, only one thing was, it was quite a small space so was very tricky to take certain shots. Apart from that a pleasant experience, great value for money on the cocktails! Would definitely go back.

dropped in here after bad experience in wetherspoons....so glad it happened that way; I had been here before,and knew their cocktails were good...but today it was surpassed, we wanted food as well, and they had a good menu, asked staff about cocktails, and their advice was spot on...wee French martini (which was definetly best I have tasted) to start, then some food. I had sharing platter and took Prosecco option, total £18...great value. Other girls had meals and drinks, not one complaint was heard, and then we had another cocktail; Black Mojito, a definite on the list of favourites now. total bill for 6 of us was £108, great value and great serice from the staff...definetly be back there...Keep up the good work guys xx

Liked the look of the outside so popped in for lunch. Excellent service and very good food. Panini is an excellent choice and add a dish of chips and sufficient for two. Inside very nice and clean. Would return.

I didn't try the haggis burger, but my friends did and they were semi pleased with it. Mind you, we are on a vacation we are trying to try the foods of the places we are visiting. I had the steak and ale, but it was more like a really good pot roast and mashed potatoes (American way:). It was very good! Our waiter was friendly, I had a hard time understanding the accent, but that's my problem not his! :) I would definitely recommend trying this place out to somebody who is visiting Stirling!

Went here for lunch with wife and grandson on Wednesday.Nice and open well maintained restaurant. Service, like most Wetherspoons, pretty slow when ordering. Too few staff perhaps? However all staff were efficient and helpful.Food pretty average to be honest. First time I've seen my grandson not clear his plate, but it was the large mixed grill. And it was large!Will probably go again.

Stopped by for a cocktail before a meal elsewhere, had a great PIna Colada at a brilliant price, made with Rum, Malibu and milk. Friendly staff, roomy with a great atmosphere.

The food here is almost definetly from a chain of groups, the fish was really fresh and was of a huge size,, desserts were not the best but at lest we will know to avoid them when we visit again for the fish

went wth friend and her 13 year old. Unable to sit where we wanted, but as we had a child, shown to back (dark) area of pub. Friend felt as tho treated 2nd class.Any other time I have visited with adults only, have enjoyed experience. Only eaten a couple of time and it was 'fine' - better food places for same money in Stirling, but is a good pub as a meeting place/ night out.

Have been here a few times now and all I can say is that Ben the barman is fantastic! Always chatty, very knowledgeable and very helpful! His cocktails are excellent and he is always wanting to try out new recipes! Best place for cocktails in Stirling and definitely the best barman in town!

First I am very impressed with the DJ (Richie) Saturday night! Love the entertainment and the music choice was superb! The bartenders are beautiful in appearance and character! Impressive! Everyone was having fun time dancing even by table side I just loved it! Definitely Going back for more fun!

Went here for a drink before returning to the B&B pleasant staff, enjoyed a nice glass of wine only thing I would mention is that the music was a bit loud making it hard to hear.

We visited stirling on a day visit with national holidays, looking for somewhere for lunch we found the corn exchange. We were greeted by a bright and bubbly young lady called Rhiana .Drinks were brought to the table and food ordered. The atmosphere was relaxed .The food was excellent and very reasonably priced

I was looking for somewhere to eat on a first trip to Stirling. From the outside this pub looms a bit ordinary but we tried it because there was haggis on the menu. The food was good and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was good enough for us to go back again for a second visit during the trip.

Our first time to Stirling and we came across the Corn Exchange. Strange name for a pub but still a good meal with good service. It can be hard to hear with the music but plenty to enjoy. Well worth a try.

My children and I ate at The Corn Exchange yesterday and had a very pleasant experience. First of all, the interior was much nicer than we would have expected from the outside. Second, the young man who waited on us could not have been nicer. Third, the food was very good. It was not gourmet, but tasty, well-prepared pub food. The chicken breast sandwich was moist, the chips (French fries) were piping hot and not greasy. They have a kids menu where each kid's main course comes with 2 sides of their choosing AND a drink. Overall, this was a tremendous value for a filling sit-down meal.

We were initially going to go to City Walls, but was getting refurbished and had been recommended Corn Exchange as it is their sister pub. When we went in it was quiet and told we would have a 20 minute wait, which was no bother to us. There was a young gent running about trying to see to the tables whilst also being bossed about by the lady behind the bar who was eating her lunch (unprofessional). When the lady behind the bar came over to our table she told us that we would have our drinks taken off the bill for our wait. All we had was a baked potato, macaroni, side of chips, two chocolate cakes (deal 2 for £6) and 3 cans of juice and possibly 2 drafts of cola. When we received our bill it came to nearly £45 which is outrageous and no way were the drinks deducted from our bill, we could not check the prices because we were not given a receipt. The next day I phoned to check if it was right and to ask if our drinks were deducted, the gent on the phone could not back date the till so told me that he'd phone back and let me know. Four hours later I received a phone call back from the gent who advised me to phone tomorrow when the manager is in, I did. I phoned the next morning and asked to speak to the manager, she told me that she would phone back once she has checked everything. She never phoned back. I have been to many restaurants and this has been my worst experience ever.

Although we were the only people in for food the service was slow. The barmaid was more interested in chatting to a man at the bar than taking our order. The food itself was cold when it did arrive and could have done with another minute in the microwave. When we went to pay the girl was still more interested in the man at the bar than our payment

The staff were friendly and helpful especially one called Jasmine who was very quick with service and had a good sense of humour. The food was excellent, there were seven of us and we all had a great time. I highly recommend it.

Nice busy bar restaurant Sister to the City Walls, Found it clean * tidy, Staff welcoming & friendly. Recommended.

I was excited to see chicken and chips with curry sauce on the menu so opted for The Corn Exchange over nearby options. Meh! My chicken was likely reheated in the microwave because I could cut or chew one side of it. Flavour of the sauce was great as were the chips. Service was poor even though the place was empty. The waitress seemed more interested in chatting up the guy at the bar. It was OK but I won't likely come back.

Visited over the weekend with our four young children and our 6 month old puppy was able to join us as we were allowed to sit outside. The ladies who served us were a delight and even made sure the dog had a wee drink of water. Food was lovely and very reasonably priced. Will def return when we r in the area.

This is one of the best place in Stirling for cocktails! the drinks are quirky and they are reasonable prices too!

Only stopped for a drink here, sat at the window with a long cool Peroni and people watched, busy place, friendly staff, great menu with some great deals on, worth a visit

popped in here for a spot of lunch when out for a walk, well worth it if you are visiting stirling . very good lunch great service and great value.

What does the combination of a rude barkeeper, a constantly disappearing waitress, a cheese burger without cheese and meat with which I could actually hit and knock someone out, a a/c blowing too cold air in December and totally drunk guests at the neighbor table make? A 0% recommendation! Total flop

Had a great evening meal here during a visit to Stirling. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a meal afternoon or evening.

Myself and my fiancé went to our dinner while in Stirling, fancied something nice but not too expensive. We did go in earlier in the day to pre book a table but when we went down later on there was plenty of tables free so really no need to book. Great selection of dishes to choose from all reasonably priced. Would recommend the hunters chicken was A1! Dessert was fantastic mint chocolate sundae definitely to be recommended! Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, good meal, would eat here again anytime.

we liked everything about the corn exchange, the service was excellent , the prices reasonable , and our lunch was terrific.well worth it for any visitor.it can get very busy at times.

Lovely staff shame the food lets it down. Microwaved meals and half cooked chips springs to mind. If I go back it certainly won't be for food.
