It's sad it's the only place to go when all the bars shut and you want to continue to enjoy your night out. Thankfully I rarely go. Good music and choice of drink but staff can be a bit arrogant. Toilets on a Saturday night 🤢

Lovely place to be in the heart of Falkirk

Flung out after needing to urinate in the sink due to femaleles in the mens toilets have a medical condition that means I need regular access to toilet facilities door staff largely unhelpful due to main bouncers on the door travelled 2 hrs to venue only to be let down bye this experience no talking to the staff on the door either one female member empathised and took notebut her hands were tied

Made people book tickets in advance for a Halloween event then turned everyone away on the night with absolutely no prior notice. Absolutely shocking.

Absolute shambles of a place tried to book a table for 2 by phone, but kept ringing out no one would answer. Phoned at least 10 time's in 1 day for 5 days in a row still the same response. So went to see if they do walk ins. Was greeted with an obnoxious bouncer telling me no walk in's I need to book a table. Honestly the place is a joke when staff are useless and are standing about twiddling their thumbs half the time. I mean they can't even answer a phone so you book a table.

I visited Sportsters with a group of friends and the service was excellent. We were served all evening by Was, who was very attentive and very friendly. Consider the current pandemic the staff made us feel very much at ease.

The atmosphere was great, music was on point. The place started to pick up around half past 11. The bar is good sometimes it takes a bit to get served but is to be expected when the place is full. Overall a great place to go out with your friends or partner.

went for a game of pool. No punters downstairs yet all staff were at downstairs bar. When someone finally came upstairs to serve we were told we would need to go down stairs for drink as the upstairs bar (where all the customers were at that time) was shut. Table was filthy, no music playing and tables so close together that you couldnt play as next table was in way.

A little late getting round to putting in a review, I came in for food 3 times over December for festive nights out with different groups & had a great time on each occassion. Great food, great drinks & lost my Draught Corona viriginity here. You always remember your first.

Came in on Friday night with a group of friends for a birthday get together, we hadn’t booked as it being January and most places had space we were greeted at the door by a lovely server ( we didn’t manage to catch her name ) but she was pleasant throughout the meal, our drinks were served super fast, and the food was brilliant all served fairly quickly and well presented, two had the mac and cheese ( good size portion served in a skillet pan ) one had the chicken crepes and I had the fish and chips proper hearty food and good sized portions, we stayed for most of the night for drinks, we will be back. Thanks again

Just returned from Sportsters it used to be my first port of call in the town good food and good atmosphere. Today however confirmed many of my recent thoughts. The bar was not open at the advertised time of 12pm and when doors eventually opened at 12.15 staff seemed uninterested in even talking to us. When we asked for a menu we were told that you are no longer doing food. Really disappointing it seems to me the place has given up and is happy to be mediocre still charging top prices for drink but gone downhill massively hugely disappointing.

Absolutely terrible service. Staff are completely uninterested and not customer friendly. If you are looking for a night out and a couple of drinks with friends, this is NOT the place. Marley is a brilliant social bartender and personally I love a bartender willing to have a conversation with me Nd not just serve and dash gives you the time to amek you feel like a human being

Lady who served us was lovely but we were standing for 40 minutes at the bar and when I asked the bartender if we could be served he declined and served everyone but me and my friends. He ignored us and was serving people as soon as they arrived

Fair prices, polite staff one person stood out in particular a ginger boy called chris went above and beyond

Great place to watch sports. Burger was good but the buns aren't the best as they make it fairly dry.

Great for watching the football and playing pool but now don't sell koppaberg cider

Popped in for a game of pool and a few pints must have been 4 free tables but no cues which does not make any sense. We were served by a young lady who said these are the cues you can have 1 without a tip and other 1 was taped on laughable tbh she then said the cues out there were not any better. And we were to pay £10 deposit lol....

The staff seemed not interested in serving me like a couple places have done before I'm rather small for my age and kept getting looked at by staff and they served people who just showed up. I don't like putting poor reviews in but it's happened a good few times now

My mum had been sadly let down from the orchard in Falkirk the day of her birthday which left my mum in an absolute state, i phoned around to try find a venue for my mum and well sportsters that I did find from yourselves and I want to say a massive thank you for making my mums night perfect! They put on such an amazing buffet with nachos pizzas etc the karoke was fantastic and the service was 5+++, could not recommend use more to anyone looking to hire rooms or even for your delicious food! Thankyou so much again for the empathy shown and the excellent service my mum was provided with!

Nice Lunch very nice decor and cool place to stop dog friendly nice waiter dog loved the mac and cheese for a special treat he does not get people food very often.

We went in July and then again in August 2019, both times for dinner. The food was excellent and the cocktails were amazing. The staff were extremely friendly, especially Ben and Mark who were helpful and upbeat.

Good selection of beers & spirits and plenty of screens for sports

Food was great!! But very very slow service, especially for a not so busy Sunday. Would say the slowness was the only let down.

Absolutly shocking service by the bar staff, I waited over half an hour to be serviced then my friend came up and got served within 5 mintues of being at the bar. I asked to speak to a manager and when I did she just said for me to leave then if i was not happy. Very poor treatment from the management. What because I wasn't in with the young crowd I wasn't good enough to be there as thats what they made me feel like. Very poor service. After being there a while I was asked to leave by the bouncer as apparently I had been abusive to the staff. Never in my life have I been asked to leave anywhere.

It was my daughter and I'd first visit and we chose as puppy friendly. From the moment we were seated by the lovely sandie we were made extremely welcome. She totally spoilt Belle(puppy) and the food was really good and value for money. I would definitely recommend eating here especially if you have a dog. X

My boyfriend and I came here on Friday night, the 28th of June. We came in for a meal and a few drinks after hearing rave reviews. We were served by Erin. She was fantastic and so attentive, considering how busy it was. Meal was fantastic and service was great. Will defo be back!!!

We visited using and Itison voucher. We were worried that the food would be fairly basic however that was not the case. Although my starter of haggis, neeps and tattie croquet was mainly tattie it was very nice as was the accompanying sauce and crispy salad.

OMG I had your chicken salad in a box today from Food festival on the High street and it was bloody amazing, I will be in soon to order it from your menu. Well done today x

The best and most hip bar in Falkirk. Perfect in every way. Best place to hang with friends, watch sports, eat good food and play pool.

Came here for dinner at 6.30pm. We were the only 2 in the dining area at this point so service was reasonable. The server had a lot of difficulty understanding what we wanted to order without us having to actually point at the menu so she knew what we wanted. There was a delay in check backs with our food and the server was messing around with another staff member not paying much attention to ourselves. I then ordered a mojito which was very strong and tasted pretty terrible to be honest. I proceeded to the bar to ask them to sweeten it and add more soda to which the server said "well I don't like mojitos so I don't know what they should taste like".. which is pretty poor if you are making the drink you should know how it should taste. Food was average, nothing special. Overall an average experience.

We booked out the private room for my hen doo at the weekend and it was super from start to finish. The room was a lovely size and beautifully laid out. The food was excellent and brought out exactly when we asked for it. I'm still dreaming about those bloody mini burgers! Our bartenders christa and Anthony were unrivaled. Not only did they teach us to make some delicious cocktails but they made sure to keep us supplied with anything we needed from shots to pens. The whole event was great value for money and I wouldn't change a thing!

Tony & Christy were fab hosts tonight at the function bar in Sportsters at my step daughter's hen night. Tony's cocktail class is a must try and we couldn't have asked for a better bartender than Christy, they were both great, explaining all the cocktails - and they were tasty! Will definitely be back # fabnight

Worst bar in Falkirk by a long shot. Service is disgraceful. Stood for 45 mins waiting on a drink with two members of staff serving on a sat night is just shocking. Do your self a favour and go to behind the wall or go home because your night will be far better than staying in here!

We visited Sportsters today after a softplay play date! We have seen on social media that a new menu had just been launched and we were keen to try this out. It did not disappoint. Our kids were knackered so we ordered their food first, we ordered fish and chips and chicken lollipops with chips. The kids food came promptly which meant me and my husband could eat our starter in peace! The kids food was fab, good portion size and the batter on both the chicken and fish was really light and no grease at all- both my kids demolished their dinner! We opted to share chicken tempura to start then I had the haggis, neeps and tatties and my husband had fish and chips. The haggis was amazing- it was wrapped in a filo pastry parcel and the turnip was like a fondant potato basted in butter- it literally was the best turnip I have ever had! The fish was served with a burnt lemon, peas, tartar sauce and a side of curry sauce. Food was excellent and would highly recommend. There was a little kids area and the kids got little packs which kept them entertained until we finished our meal. Service was really friendly and attentive. All in all a really enjoyable family meal.

We came to sportsters on May 1st for an early dinner, as we had seen on social media that they were updating the new food menu.

Come here regularly with friends and have never had an issue with the place, great drink selection at great prices and the staff are always friendly and happy to help. Door staff are also amazing at what they do and always make sure everyone in the premises is having a fun safe night. Any time I have seen a disturbance it’s dealt with quickly and efficiently and I hope they are recognised for their efforts. Well done sportsters, keep up the amazing work!

Awesome place to visit had a great meal and the staff were amazing. What I really liked tho was at the end of the night had a good drink and was talking the the door man. really friendly I believe his name is Ryan. Couldn't ask for better door man very easily approachable guy and great to talk to. 5 stars for me

Been to sportsters many times for both food and a night out! Its the only place i go because its got great atmosphere and great staff members! Big shout out to Ryan who is one of the bouncers there hes helped me out many times with situations and always got a smile on his face!

Eaten in Sportsters many times now always well priced, big portions and lovely food!. Personal favourites of mine are the Mac & Cheese bon bons, freshly baked pizza & hot rocks! (Love being able to cook my steak how I like it at the table). They did do kangaroo for awhile which was a favourite of mines but it's no longer on the menu sadly.

Sportsters is awful went last week overpriced rude service don't waste your money food was just ok plenty of better dining experiences around.

Wandering Falkirk looking for a nice munch. Almost walked by as tinted windows made it hard to see that the bar was open. The food was lovely and the staff friendly and attentive. Good portions with a nice zing.

My friends and I came here last Saturday for some dinner & drinks. The food was really well priced and tasty, service quick and friendly. Noticed a couple of reviews here talking about it being cold but personally we didn’t feel it. We stayed on for drinks after because the atmosphere was buzzing!

4 of us went here for a family dinner and the food was delicious! So much to chose from in the Menu it took us quite a while to decide.

Been here multiple times and never not been let down. Swore after the last time we would never return but decided to give it a go after a year and it was even worse than before. My partner ordered dinner for us both and when they arrived my dinner was incorrect even after he pointed to it on the menu as the server was confused. He was given no cutlery and on request was still not provided with any until I went to the bar and got some myself by which time his food was cold as the whole place was freezing (I didn’t take my jacket off the whole time). My dinner took a further 20 minutes to arrive and tasted of nothing but salt. Horrendous service and rude waiting.

Far too expensive and the bouncers constantly suspect you are using drugs if u enter the Male cubical banging constantly on the door

Waited to be seated for 10 minutes, no one came so we sat ourselves down. Had to go get our own menus and then again no one came to take our order. We went to the bar to order and when the food came, barely warm, wrong 2 out of 3 meals, and with a 5 minute gap between each meal so we had to eat separately as the food was already barely warm so if we waited it would have been freezing. Also the place was freezing despite them saying the heating was on.

We had a fantastic Burns Supper here: organisation, food and service were impeccable! Thank you so much to Scott and his team for an amazing experience! I thoroughly recommend it.
