Sports Bar in Solihull

Waited to be served at the bar. Gave up and left at the end as bar staff were serving who they wanted to regardless of who was waiting and how long. Definitely won't be returning.

We visited on the evening of the England vs Slovenia game. This was a work group of 17 people. We had booked weeks in advance and had 5 booths reserved. It was a very busy night, hence our early booking. We ordered a mixture of pizzas and hotdogs (hardly cordon bleu). This order was placed at the bar. After about 20 mins we were told the pizzas we ordered weren't available and so choose again (more pizzas). The pizzas arrived not long after. It then took a further hour for the rest of the food to arrive. Some of the food which did eventually arrive was wrong, but by then, our group were just happy to have something to eat. Once all our group had eaten, (the food was poor quality and cold), I asked to speak to the manager. He was a very pleasant man and tried very hard to placate me, but there really was nothing he could do. When I suggested we could have pre-ordered, as we had done for a restaurant we were going to the next evening, this seemed something of a revelation to him. I asked for a free drink for all our guests, he let me have 2. Whilst I very much appreciate this was a busy evening, the Sports Bar was happy enough to take our booking. Pizzas and hotdogs are hardly a cuisine any of us were expecting to be fabulous, but the pepperoni pizza had 6 pieces of pepperoni. The hotdogs were out of a jar. I'm afraid we won't visit again and won't be recommending it.

Never heard of a sports bar with a strict dress code before. (I was not in a football shirt or a cap, but yet still turned away from a sports bar because of their dress code)

Overall a good bar, nice selection of drinks and the staff were pretty friendly. I enjoyed having a chat with one of the bartends about the head on my Guinness. The pint was excellent and so was the atmosphere. I have to take away one star for the food. It's budget at best, the pizza was a frozen Chicago town one I'm pretty sure, which I can't stand because you have to overcook it otherwise it's too doughy. Solid pint though and that's all I really cared about, the food was just to keep me away from the slot machine.

Beer was shocking ... the smell from the Stella was awful,considering we had just come from the world bar on the same complex where the Stella beer was fine it was just a shock to the system, Bartender changed my beer to a budwiser but the smell from the beer was just awful. Left the beer and the bar and went back to the world bar ... not the first time this has happened..... clean the glasses the glass washing machines and the beer lines ... its not rocket science !!! Especially for the price being charged ... had a whole party of people heading there for a day out with beer and watching football... we have now changed our minds and moving to a different venue ... please guys... sort your cellar and cleaning regime out ... its bloody awful 😖

Order pint half of bud light and it was discussing obviously not cleaned their lines enough or properly ,but £8 wasted

Really nice bar, spacious & lively at peak times. It's directly opposite the arena, ideal for pre or post shows at the resort world arena.

Watching game is perfect, but food is horrible looks they just do microwave to frozen items.

Service for the England match was fantastic, staff were the best can't thank them enough

This is a great all round bar which serves a good selection of food and drink. Every time we have been in the staff have been welcoming and friendly. For sports fans there are many screens showing a range of live sport.

⛔️ A Sports Bar where they will refuse you entry if you are wearing Sports attire. Popped to RW last week in the afternoon to the shops and tried to pop here for a drink but was told we couldn’t go and to go away. These places always get a reputation for turning people away, then no one even attempts to go again and they end up making their staff redundant due to the poor and weak minded decisions the management make. It’s the same foolish management personnel that seem to just circulate bars in Birmingham, ruining them into the ground, incapable of producing a single original thought.

Ok a bit full because of football, so a bit slow at bar

Wanted cocktails early on a Friday night.. was refused because they were busy..I was the only one at the bar and was there about 3 weeks ago and had some on a Friday night..won't rush back

Love coming here the only thing that let's it down is they only seem to put sound on when there's a big game on ...no sound for the Saturday results instead I've had to sit and listen to rubbish house music that all sounds the same it's supposed to be a sports bar .

Great place to go have a drink. Open 24 hrs, need to be a guest or a member to the casino to gain access. High prices than normal but that's to be expected

It's a sports bar in a casino. Whilst the drinks were ok, it is still a sports bar.... in a casino. Don't expect it to get lively, it doesn't. Head to the highline for a lively atmosphere

Pity you have to sign in to the casino just to get a drink in the sports bar. Didn't visit the casino.

Friendly staff, great atmosphere

Very pleasant staff, good views, sensible range of snacks/lunches, right opposite the World Resorts Arena. Beer prices close to London levels and too high for the Midlands, though typical of the Worls Resorts complex.

Good food and reasonably priced

Staff friendly and fast service. Between us had a Chicken burger and single serve of Nachos, good fresh ingredients. Clean and tidy surroundings.

Your standard wine/lager on sale with a few snacks. Seating is ok but casino pa interrupts sport commentary. Pint is c.£5 which is expensive. Service can be very slow.

Great place for a Friday night wind down

Great place to relax and watch the latest game, whether its rugby, football, cricket, etc. A must see in the Resorts World.

Nice bar, drinks reasonably priced

We have been here a few times now and the food has all ways been of a high quality, and good value for money. The waiter who served us was so friendly and helpful.

Frost time there very nice will be back at some stage.

Terrible attitude from staff. If the female manager doesn't take a liking to you, she waits for you to purchase drinks then calls the security to throw you out. Disgrace of a place.best to avoid.

busy but worth a visit. good atmosphere

A few friends and I visited this place after a couple of drinks at a local hotel bar. We went with the intention of spending £20 playing blackjack and ended up leaving with £27 after playing a couple of hours of brilliant blackjack with some great, entertaining people. My sole aim at the table is to get the dealer to crack, but he stood firm in the face of the banter. I much prefer this place to the local one I go to in Nottingham.
