Spoon & Rice in Brent

The pinoy grilled chicken was as expected, would be nicer if spicy. The Lomi was awful, looked and tasted slimy. noodles were over cooked, everything was grey for some reason.

Just ate their Belly Pork and Chicken mix (comes with rice and salad) and it was fantastic. Came in around 10 minutes, so a good choice for those who are tight on time. Portion could be a bit bigger, or it could be my stomach is too large. Only actual complaint is the music is so loud at the venue (a food court) you have to shout to have a conversation (just turn the volume down!) But that's not the Spoon & Rice's fault is it? Thoroughly recommended!

Wow! Spoon and Rice absolutely nailed it with their Juander Combo and Pinoy Grilled Chicken! The chicken was incredibly juicy, perfectly marinated, and had that smoky, char-grilled goodness that took me straight back to the flavour of home. The portion sizes were generous, and the staff made the experience even better with their friendly service. If you’re craving authentic Filipino flavors, this is THE place to go. Highly recommended!

Excellent quality food fresh and tasty would recommend

I’ve ordered here before so know how it was, this time it’s just different product: meat was rubbery, carrot tasted like it’s slightly rotten and found some strange steamed piece of (chicken?) meat in my rice. Something has happened to the place

If you’re in Wembley, you’ve got to check this place out! The grilled chicken is unreal!! so tasty and cooked to perfection. The staff are super friendly, and the vibe is great. Honestly, can’t recommend it enough!

Visited the Boxpark Wembley site and had the Pinoy Grilled Chicken - absolutely superb flavours and textures. Lovely and helpful staff too ! Highly recommended for a pre-gig meal, you won't be disappointed !

While the food is great, customer service is the worst !!!! I came at 12:00 pm and the store was fairly free, as usually gets busy only during the evening. So I wait to place the order and the guy working there takes around 4 minutes to take my order as he was the one cooking too ….. i place the order at 12:01 pm and he says it will be 15 minutes, I did explain that I have to do shopping quickly and that I will be back in 20 minutes giving him extra 5 minutes to do the job. I arrive back after 24 minutes and he says the food needs extra 5 minutes.. I wait and then he tries to convince me to change my order to another order he already cooked and was not picked up … I was super annoyed as I need to go back to work and asked for a refund. He did not even say sorry or any remorse of care. Horrible experience as I wasted my time waiting and they did not even cook my food or even care to say sorry for that. Won’t be back here anytime soon.

Without doubt one of the worst meals imaginable, Waited 45 mins for the “Manilla Pork Belly Bowl” when the boxpark wasn’t even busy, rude server who told me problem was with the buzzer pager not working, and after chasing food up twice was greeted eventually with no apology and basically a cardboard bowl of boiled rice, chopped up cucumber & iceberg lettuce and 7 very small chunks of pretty flavourless bland underseasoned pork. Avoid at all costs, not enough to feed a Filipino cat either.

I ordered the chicken Juander combo with Halal Chicken and was sent pork. The restaurant doesn’t answer the phone and Deliveroo refuses to do anything about it. Sell pork to someone who ordered halal chicken is completely wrong and unethical. This restaurant used to be great and now it’s under terrible management clearly

The Manila grilled pork belly was burnt in both meals and the lechon was rubbery all the food was cold, we didn’t get all the food we ordered, the lumpia was delicious but they only sent one serving, overall disappointing and I will not eat this food

The lomi was just a big bowl of salty hot stuff, the siomai were lukerwarm, and delivery took a very long time.

Great Filipino 🇵🇭 food. Well worth a visit

My partner is Filipino and has been wanting to go here for a while to try it and it was worth the wait. The menu options are quite basic but the quality of the food was amazing. I had Lechon Kawali and I couldn’t eat enough of it, it was full of flavour. We also ate a few sides which were also tasty. The staff were polite and the atmosphere in the area was nice with music in the background and disco lights. Can’t wait to go again 😄

Absolutely lovely staff, very knowledgeable about the food helping me to choose the right dish for me. A dish which then came fast, in a pretty good portion size and tasted amazing.

I came for an early dinner and the staff were all lovely. I didn't have to wait long for my food and when I tasted it, it was really nice. They were happy to refill my glass of water and were generally lovely

not happy with my order yesterday, it's not the first time ordering this meal so I know what to expect. I ordered a combo which is fried meat, i asked to double dip extra crispy chicken and got just chicken skin no meat.

I love the taste of the food, but to my dismay, the portions have significantly gone less! I do not mind paying more, rather than paying the same but portions made way less.The turon shocked me when served! It's the size of my index finger, like a spring roll size. Hence, the 2 stars. I have always invited friends to eat here, but now? Uhmm, let me think.

Filipino bbq is my favourite bbq in the world, so it was fantastic to have a Filipino option within Box Park in Wembley. Meat with rice was 9 out of 10 as it's the best bbq I've had in any Filipino restaurant in London. Lumpia made from chicken is not my preference. Overall, it is easy, quick, and tasty, making it a winner of a place. Service from the young girl in the picture was also great. Well done guys, keep it up.

I have been your customer for 3 years now, and since then the food and experience worsened severely. It used to have loads of sauce good & packaging and a good ratio of chicken to rice and salad. Now you receive a box filled almost completely with rice little salad and little sauce. Packaging is now very awful where everything sticks to an unnecessary paper

the chicken juander meal and lomi are so delicious but the 8 pieces siomai taste like it is expired or aren’t cooked well. 1pc pieces siomai is £1 and please just make sure before you cook the food, check the expiration dates and cook the food properly.

This place is my new fav! Absolutely love the pork belly rice box, it’s amazing quality, value and taste. For £9 you get so much meat, fluffy rice and nice pickle/salad. It’s so good I’ve been twice in the last two weeks and it’s easily the best place in Boxpark. Super nice to have Filipino food in Croydon, spoon and rice hits the spot when I’m craving something sweet and hearty.

Good Filipino street food! I really enjoyed it 👌🏼 I tried the Pinoy Grilled Chicken with rice and salad. I can tell you: That’s a good choice! 😁 The meat was well cooked, everything was well seasoned, included a good sauce and was very rich! It was quite different to the kind of food I usually eat. I am a person that really likes to try some new stuff and that‘s what I definitely experienced here 😉👍🏼

Ordered through Just Eat. First time trying food from this establishment. Order: - Chicken Juander Combo (bbq grilled + fried chicken over jasmine rice - served hot) - Turon (spring rolls filled with banana and topped with a sweet sauce - served hot) Overall, food was quite tasty with a fair portion size. Fried chicken was nice and crispy, maybe a little oily for my liking. Would recommend.

£28.5 for everything we have ordered in the photos. (2 mains+1 drink+1 side) Definitely not cheap eats, but have lots of options. Portion wise is quite generous. Recommend a casual visit if you happen to be nearby and want some quick bites.

not as i expected the last time i ordered for lunch, rice is soggy, not a premium quality. i would have preferred a fluffy rice. i ordered toron but nothing to be praised, banana was uncooked and the caramelised sugar was runny !!! pls improve xoxo

We got the lechon and rice combo. Waited about 15 minutes and recieved our meal. The rice was rather bland, the pork was nice though. Just lacked any real flavour or seasoning. We asked for salt and pepper and she said they dont have any and extra sauce is at a cost, ridiculous considering we had the tiniest pot of 'chili' which was mostly garlic. Wouldn't really recommend.

The person I was with got 2 thighs of bbq chicken so why are they not doing the portions evenly ? Extra sauce was asked yet not given. Nothing to try again or even for the first time. Very poor food sorry. Fried chicken Still dripping oil

The initial approach was greeted with a smile, by one staff other staff was a little moody. The meat was halal, the premises was clean enough but the decor was spoilt by the hanging of posters on the wall using tatty celoptape. I think more could be done to improve and maintain standards. The dish I ordered the chicken was quite chewy and the flavour was not to my likeying. The spicy oil was quite bland, the rice was nice, the salad, and takeaway box but the rest could be improved. I hope the buisness applies improvement to the above. I will visit again, and update on a further review. I believe in secound chances.

Very well sized portion, pork belly was charred yet tender and vegetables were fresh! Definitely go here if you’re attending a concert or game at Wembley

The pinoy grilled chicken is amazing, super tender and juicy. The pickled carrots (i think they are) are also a taste to behold. The rice is pretty dry but the sauce from the chicken mitigates that significantly, portion could be better but overall an amazing meal for the price (£8)

This place is easily one of my go-to’s, first time I had food here it was like I saw stars, I was instantly a fan. The chicken Juander combo is easily my favorite. The fried chicken is crispy and juicy with a slight sweetness, while the grilled chicken is tender and the sauce provides an extra layer of flavor. The veggies are crisp and are the perfect way to cut through the oil-rich and heavy chicken and rice. Really feels like a well rounded meal. Also as a fan of iced tea, C2 is LEAGUES above many of the brands available in the UK, the apple one is my personal favorite. Unfortunately this specific meal I had, the chicken juander was cold when I got it. But that was not enough to deter me. The food was still class, and I devoured the meal, not a crumb left. I would still easily rate this place as high as I did. I have never had an issue with customer service and out of all the Boxpark restaurants I really recommend coming here over many of the overrated expensive restaurants inside.
