MUMBAI ZINGS food especially Pani Puri is one of the amazing & relishing experience I have had In my life!!!

Have visited Mumbai Zing 3 or 4 times in the last month or so. The first couple of experiences, we experienced pretty poor and slow service and the mixed bhajia was pretty awful - potatoes were undercooked as were the rest of the items and our 2nd started took over 2 hours. Also there were SEVERAL items on our bill which we had not ordered which we didn't see till we got home. We enjoyed the music so went back a few weeks later and the service was a little bit better but this time the same dish that was undercooked the previous time was extremely overcooked and again there were items on our bill which we hadn't had, so we were given some money back in cash as they didn't want to redo the bill. Fast forward a couple of weeks later, I wanted to take a couple of colleagues who were in the UK for the first time to experience the live singers on a Friday night. Service was hugely improved and my colleagues had a great time but there was nothing with potato available on the menu, we wanted masala fries which they didn't have so the server recommended papri chaat which was pretty awful and my colleagues barely touched it. The chilli mushroom however was very good. The bill was correct this time, at long last! My husband took me there again (for an early birthday treat) and this time we ordered a mixture of chilli mushrooms, chilli chicken and lamb chops, all of which were very good. All in all, the last 2 experiences made up for the previous ones but I won't give 5 stars based on the poor service initially and being overcharged on 2 separate visits. As an aside adding a 10% service charge was quite insulting on those visits when the service was nothing to write home about! They also seem to have a rather poor selection of drinks available, several times there was no rose wine available or prosecco but if you tell them in advance, they seem to pick some up from local off license but don't expect any decent wine. Live music was good on all visits, the spicy dishes are definitely recommended.

Brilliant restaurant which serves delicious top quality Indian dishes . My family and friends have been coming to Mumbai zing for about 3 years and it’s an amazing Indian restaurant with lovely friendly staff.

We have booked the table for family dinner of 25 people. There was live music and it was so loud in the hall that we cannot sit and talk. We requested the manager multiple times to reduce the volume but no one listens and the singer keeps singing song with louder music. It’s really disappointing to see such services and despite of multiple request they dnt bother to reduce the volume.

I went there to enjoy my weekend and now after 2 hours, I came out and I’m feeling stressed due to loud music and absolutely worst terrible singers.

Personally, service is pretty slow (this was on a weekday & pretty empty too). Though order was placed together, items were coming every 30mins roughly. If you enjoy live music, definitely up your street. The live singers do have a lovely voice & were playing 80’s/90’s Bollywood music. However, can barely have conversation with people across the table. Food doesn't have much flavour/“zing” to it. Definitely can get better food a few streets down for a similar price.

My friends worked at this restaurant for months both worked full time but they didn’t pay them and it has been over 1 year and they have not received any payment even after numerous requests for updates. Both have been patiently waiting for them to update with the expectation that will be paid soon but even up til now they have not confirmed anything. Whenever they talk for salary, those people insult us and say that do whatever you want to do, we will not give you a single penny. Really disappointing with this kind of behaviour at a professional level!!! I would not recommend anyone to support this business as they do not respect their employees.

The food is absolutely disgusting and not fresh at all. It felt like it's been there for 3 4 days. Customer service was also not up to the mark. Will not be coming again and recommend to anyone!!

I recently celebrated my birthday at Mumbai Zing, and it was a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, with a great variety of flavors that everyone enjoyed. The singers were amazing and added a lively atmosphere to the party. Special thanks to the staff for making it such a memorable event. Highly recommend for any celebration!

This little restaurant has Bollywood theme decor and live music. We are a family of 4 that went to try after reading the reviews however we were disappointed as it did not live up to our expectations. We ordered chilli panner, hara bhara kebab, dal makhani, paneer tikka masala, veg kholapuri, naan and veg fried rice. I would say the veg fried rice and hara bhara kebab probably tasted the best out of the rest. The curry and dal all had the same taste and looked the same and, I could not differentiate in taste which is which. Naan was starchy and chewy. The music was very loud for the small size restaurant and at the time when we went, we were the only family there so there was a lot of testing of mics and systems happening. They also charge 10% S/C.

Food is good, but never visit this place if they have live music and if you expect good service. It took them nearly two hrs to deliver all the starter and we only ordered three. If you make a mistake of coming here on a day when they have live music then please bring your noise cancelling headphones and some nibbles

It is probably star tours deal with restaurant, that did not even ask, if we want more, after serving once.

Enjoyed Stunning live Bollywood music from Anil and Hiral. Friendly staff serve delicious dishes with million dollar smiles. Our 6y old twins enjoyed dancing under the disco lights made our day. Thanks Anil & Hiral again for including my “farmaish song” and performed so professionally. A must visit place.

I made a reservation at this restaurant for dinner with my family. The food was well-cooked, fresh, and the service was excellent. Although the ambiance could be improved, the restaurant was clean and tidy, so I have no complaints. We tried chicken lollipop, chicken chilli, paneer, and pani puri for starters. For the main course, we had fried rice, roti, and palak paneer, all of which were good. It's definitely worth visiting!

Food was extremely oily and my sabzi had only frozen vegetables in it. Naan also seemed from frozen. Soda was flat. Overall almost nothing was good about the experience.

Enjoyed the food, especially the chicken lollipops. Similar to the one's available in Mumbai in a lot of ways. Seafood was fresh and the quantities were good. Happy to find a good Indian place in Greenford.

Food quality and taste is very good however service on table in restaurant is very bad. No food served for 1:30 hrs . They keep forgetting order you gave.

My wife just had her 50th and Sameer and the Zing Team were just outstanding. It not only made her 50th Birthday special but incredibly memorable. The Staff couldn't have been more attentive and the music was brilliant, as was the food. The whole package was truly outstanding! Thank you Zing Team!

I can honestly say , I had the nicest Indian meal I've ever had, I had Chicken Saag, the pelleu rice is so flavoursome, it could be a dish on its own, naan delicious, very friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.

Riya made 5 star Drink you must try. Apart from drink starter was apsulity amazing, guys must try manchurian and chilli garli mogo. Only down side is portion is a bit small. But overall, it's a good experience. Live music was apsulity amazing.

Everything was on spot! We ordered amritsari fish, kadhai chicken, chilli garlic naan, and jeera rice. Everything was super good but kadhai chicken was exceptional!!! This is probably the best kadhai chicken I ever had in London. There was karaoke playing when we visited, which made our dinner night more memorable. Must visit!

I recently dined at Mumbai Zing, an Indian restaurant located in Kensington, run by the talented Chef Vasaikar. My visit yesterday left me thoroughly impressed. The Ghaati Mutton dish was a standout, featuring succulent mutton slow-cooked with spices that created a delightful explosion of flavors. I also had the pleasure of trying the 'भानवले' (bhanavle), a baked vegetable quiche served with chutneys, which was a nice addition to the meal. The Baigan Bharta with sweet corn was a revelation, elevating this classic dish to new heights. The Karwari fish was exceptionally delicious, showcasing the chef's skill in preparing seafood. What truly stood out was the unique 'केळफूल' (kelphool) koftes, made from banana flowers. This innovative creation was a delightful surprise for my taste buds. The service at Mumbai Zing was exceptional. Mr. Rahul Kulkarni, the manager, was incredibly attentive, courteous, and prompt in serving us. It truly added to the overall dining experience. Additionally, the restaurant offered ample parking in the nearby streets, making it convenient for patrons. Mumbai Zing is undeniably a must-visit for anyone craving delicious Indian cuisine in Kensington. Chef Vasaikar and his team have crafted a menu that is not only flavourful but also inventive, making it a standout choice for a memorable dining experience.

Don't go here. They are serving ready-made naan. They don't prepared fresh. But they charge too much. And food is full of oil. One container of curry contains half bowl of oil. Total disaster.

Please do not go to this restaurant, the owner is cheater, not big restaurant. For party, mugged you with lies, food is not good not a good service, the owner started shouting on middle of our celebrations it was too bad not recommended anyone to visit this restaurant charged me ample of money

Very disappointed with this place considering the reviews. The food was mediocre at best, pretty bland and not very spicy but the worst by far was the service. Very slow , very rude, brought me a cold plate 20 mins before my food came out. Asked for a warm plate and got another cold one. Asked again and got a lukewarm one that was again cold by the time the food came out. No one checked if our food was alright and generally no service skills whatsoever! There were 3 tables being used and no atmosphere at all which is a shame as the restaurant is done up very well. Asked for my bill to leave 3 times and also took ages to come. Hate to think how slow it would be if it was busy .... Definitely do not recommend 🙅🏻‍♂️
