Ipanema - Restaurant & Bar in Brent

We had an amazing lunch at Ipanema on Sunday. Chicken Parmigiana was delicious and very generous portion. Service was good. There was live music that made our lunch even better.

Despite the League Cup final result my match mates and I had a fantastic time at Ipanema before the game. The food and atmosphere were brilliant. Equal mixture of Liverpool and Newcastle helped with atmosphere and the fan chant sing off we had between the two groups of fans. It was so good we booked tables after the game for food and drinks. Big thank you to Lucas from Ipanema who did an excellent job ensuring the food and drinks flowed through the night. Big shout out for Lucas our most excellent host. Will be back for more in the summer when Liverpool play in the community shield trophy.

Visited on a Sunday evening after the Carabao Cup final. No record of my booking even though I had pre booked but found us a table. Great tasting food - I can thoroughly recommend the burgers. However, 10% service charge was added without consultation. This is the UK, not the USA. I would have happily left a tip but I want to leave it at my discretion, not at your suggestion. If you want to charge an extra 10%, put it on your prices.

Amazing dinner here on Saturday night. If I’m ever back in Wembley will definitely visit again. My son decided he didn’t quite like the garlic mayo on the burger so he was given a fresh burger without it! So kind, amazing food & lovely people. Thank you for a great birthday meal 😁

We always go there when we want to satisfy our craving for our food and we are never disappointed. Last time we ordered ribs for 2 and it was perfect! The service was also excellent, thank you Henry for serving us so well!

My partner and I went for dinner on Sunday evening. Food was pretty good, a lil average for the pricing tbh. But meat was cooked to perfection and their crispy prawns were on point. But, the service ? I do not know whether we were experiencing racism… in a place like London I get shocked every time it happens to me. As an asian individual, I don’t stick to my own cuisine, hence why my partner and I decided to go try Brazilian food. Even the Uber drivers were looking at us weirdly. The boy who served us gave 0 service. Please tell me why we had to ask for fork and knife, plates. When this should be provided considering we were the only people in the restaurant. He purposely ignored me trying to get his attention for a straw. I was waving and he saw me yet chose to ignore? My partner had to go up and get the straw himself. At which point, the boy walked away into then kitchen, as if he did not wish to interact. He also made a snarky comment about Brazilians not drinking wine, when we asked for a glass of white wine. I also think I experienced a gender issue, whenever I asked something from the menu he ignored me, yet wrote it down when my partner mentioned it. Wow. A restaurant should aim to cater to all races, not just their own. Be welcoming to all people, regardless of race or gender. Being nice does not hurt. To top it all off, a service charge of 8% was added onto the bill. My partner is a sweetheart so he obviously did not ask for it to removed. We will not be coming again, that is for sure. Don’t ruin someone else’s experience like you did to ours.

The photo in the ad is clearly what you will receive at home, a diaper, a disgraceful açaí, I ordered açaí with ninho, from the photos I don't need to say much about how disappointing this company is, I called them and said that I should order açaí with ninho, no, ninho with 1 teaspoon of liquid açaí, they hung up on me, of course, what can you say 🥹🥹🤷🏻‍♀️, that's why the restaurant is always full of flies, it never gives a chance to an empty restaurant, it's clear why it's always empty You just order ninho because there's no way to complete the order without an option, in this case for them to deceive the person, if you order strawberry, I was aware that strawberry will come with this disgraceful açaí 🤭

Before the highly anticipated concert, we decided to warm up our stomachs at a nearby Brazilian restaurant with good reviews. This was my second time trying Brazilian cuisine, and I was once again deeply captivated. The restaurant had a lively and warm atmosphere, with the aroma of roasted meat filling the air, making my mouth water just from smelling it. We ordered a few signature dishes, and the most unforgettable was the crispy-on-the-outside, tender-on-the-inside roasted meat. Each bite was full of juice, tender, and succulent, paired with the special sauce, it was simply a delicacy. It was as if every piece of roasted meat was dancing on my tongue, leading me into a feast of flavors. This Brazilian restaurant not only satisfied my taste buds but also added to the anticipation of the upcoming concert. With a satisfied feeling, we left the restaurant, ready to welcome the musical feast ahead.

As part of our A-Z cuisine quest in London, B for Brazilian! Lovely little establishment in the heart of Wembley. It was a Friday night and they did 2 Caipirinhas for £14 all night! For starters we had cassava fries, croquettes de costella, king prawns and 2 pastels (chicken&cream and beef&cheese). The service was moderately quick, and the food tasted fresh and flavoursome. For mains I shared an Ipanema platter for 2 with my friend, and our wives had Feijoada & king prawn stroganoff. I gave the 3 star due to the mains. The platter was very simple, fried chicken I could have made, steak was ok. The Feijoada tasted of nothing. The stroganoff was the only positive of the main course with a slight tang to the sauce. For dessert we shared a slice of homemade cake, decent end. All in all a good experience, not the best but I would come again.

I was really disappointed when we came here. I read all the good reviews, saw all the pictures of the cool cocktails and was really excited. We ordered the drinks with lollipops - they arrived with no lollipops. They were just basic cocktails that weren't that nice tasting in a normal glass. Not like the pictures and with no lollipop as listed on the menu. Then as we started our food, which was quite nice they started clearing all the chairs and tables out of the restaurant around us which made us feel really uncomfortable and completely ruined the whole experience. They were holding an event there which meant we had to leave by a certain time which wasn't a big problem for us but as we'd booked well in advance they could have emailed to let us know as we'd have gone elsewhere.

We visited here for some pre gig grub and we were not disappointed!!! We had an absolutely excellent time!! The food was some of the best we have ever had and the ambiance of the restaurant was second to none. Honestly could not fault a single thing. Had a right old laugh with the staff members who also gave us some cracking recommendations!!!!! Drinks were spot on and the cocktails were awesome. The toilets were nice as well, and felt comfortable when used at the end of the meal. Great restaurant, a must if you are in the area. It's a small place with friendly waiting staff. Cocktails are delicious & £14 for 2! Food options were great, we went with a platter for 2 with chicken, steak, fries, croquettes, onions & sausage. We thought the food was delicious & the prices very reasonable.

We waited for 1 hour for a food that is, overvalued as well. We have to complain to the waiter about having no food coming out for us after 45 minutes while the takeaway orders were prioritised. Nobody cared to give us an update either. The waiter apologised only after we complained, along with the other 2 tables complaining too

The food we had wasn’t bad but at the same time wasn’t that special especially for a price of £70+ (steak, fries, sausage, chicken and potato). We were surprised to see a cover charge of £10 on top of the service charge on the bill when we waited for one hour for our food. We could have had the food elsewhere for a cheaper prize to be honest. Also I appreciate having live entertainment in the restaurant - the singer was good. However, it was too loud for the restaurant size that we can hardly converse there. Overall, I wouldn’t be back to visit.

We found this restaurant on trip adviser as it was located close to Wembley OVO where were attending an event. What a fantastic pre event find!!!! Our waiter Lucas was really knowledgeable about the items on the menu and helped us make our choices. The sharing steak platter for two was absolutely delicious and the meat seasoned to perfection. If you are looking for somewhere tasty and enjoy Brazilian food prior to a Wembley event then this is the restaurant to seek out. Thank you guys we had a fantastic meal!

To preface this I want to say it was 8pm and I had not eaten all day so I literally would have eaten anything. This was probably the longest I have ever had to wait for food. When my (medium) steak came out it was inedible, so overcooked and chewy that i could not even swallow it, i even tried 3 different pieces but had to spit it out, my friends steak was the same. We asked for a new one which came after the rest of the group had finished their food, which also came after an hour wait. There was live music which was simply way too loud and overwhelming. The only reason is gets over one star is because the cocktail I ordered was nice, and the second steak was thankfully edible. The wait was just too long and my group all agreed that we wont ever come back.

Where do I start? We went out for my friends birthday. The person serving us had hardly any knowledge of the food on the menu and seemed quite lost and was rude. The food was taking very long and when asked about it the staff was rude about it. When we all had our food on the table, one of us didn’t get any. And when asked where his food is? They replied that they forgot to place his order and when it would have came, all of us would’ve been finished with our meal and keep in mind that this was supposed to be a birthday meal. Another one of us received a skewer of chicken which was raw on the inside of it. When it was raised to the manager she said “well what do you want me to do about it?” My friend wanted to check if the other meats were raw whilst the manager was present and as he was trying to cut into it within an instant she pretty much snatched the knife out of his hand and tried to cut into it herself but my friend stopped her halfway as he felt very embarrassed and demoralised . Very unprofessional and rude to be frank. Overall, the food was not bad, nothing special. The service and management from the staff really ruined the whole experience and we won’t be returning here again.

I was extremely disappointed I didn’t even eat the food cause it was so undercooked, I had high hopes but the minute I got here I was treated rudely and when I told them about the raw chicken they didn’t seem like they cared and didn’t even attempt to make the situation better it’s quite sad since I saw good reviews online.

Fanstastic service. I went with my Mum before the Taylor Swift concert and this meal was as memorable as the performance. The best steak I have tasted. So flavourful & cooked perfectly without having to ask how I wanted it cooked. Our waiter Lucas, was friendly and walked us through the menu & made suggestions to our preferences. All of which we thoroughly enjoyed. The drinks were tasty & the energy in the house was super chill & felt like we could stay for as long as we enjoyed. I would go back next time I am in wembley area

Very good meat (we had the picaña for two) at a reasonable price (for London) with magnificent service (thanks to our waiter Lucas for his friendliness and kindness and for his willingness to speak and learn Spanish despite it not being his language). It was a great dinner.

I recently lunched at Ipanema Restaurant and, unfortunately, my experience was not as enjoyable as I had hoped. The main issue was the food, which I found to be quite disappointing. The flavors were underwhelming, and the dishes lacked the freshness and vibrancy one would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. The presentation was average at best, and overall, the meals did not meet my expectations. On a positive note, the service was satisfactory. The staff were attentive and courteous, ensuring that our needs were met promptly. They were friendly and helpful, which somewhat salvaged the experience.

I had an excellent experience with the friendly and unique service. Although the Negroni wasn't on the menu, the waiter made the effort to prepare it for the first time in her life. Such dedication is rare and highly appreciated! The food was also fresh and very delicious. Thank you for such outstanding service!

Just perfect. We had a couple of Caipirinhas which were probably the best we’ve had in UK. The coxinha was awesome. Pirinha steak and the feijoada were also incredible. Over price, we stayed there for 30 minutes, two friends and I paid £30 for the music, £10 per person... The music was not pleasant, the singer was uncomfortable with the girlfriend of a man at the next table, the person was uncomfortable…

I loved everything about this place! We booked on line as we were going to a gig at Wembley. The area is full of greasy takeaways and bland chains but this place is the opposite of all of that! It’s about a 7 min walk from the stadium and full of atmosphere and authenticity. The perfect place to get you in the mood for an evening out! Delicious cocktails (at a very good price) and amazing skewered meats (big portions) served with salad a fries or rice and black beans. The waiting staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. Go now!

It’s hard to know where to start. We arrived for an 8 15 reservation and eventually after threatening to walk out we were served an hour and 15 minutes later. Food when it turned up was under cooked and over cooked in places. Staff totally disorganised. Even better at no point did any one apologise, offer us a free drink and when the bill came had a service charge. Avoid this place like the plague

We were in town for a concert and fancied something other than the same old chain restaurants. Wow! We were not disappointed! Generous portions, super tasty food, great cocktails and wonderful wine- I enjoyed everything. There were 3 of us and we had the 2 person platter and the crispy prawns - we couldn’t finish it all! Staff were helpful and attentive. Next time we are in Wembley we will definitely be back!

We went to Ipanema on a Sunday before going to a match at Wembley. There was a set menu with 2-3 course options. Visited with my Brazilian wife and English friends. Everyone loved the food and atmosphere, including the English kids we were with.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing.lucas our host has made our time at the restaurant one to be remembered. The food was simple but so delicious & the live music really does add to the whole experience & to be served a beer in a boot was great 😂The people that run this place really do make you feel like they earned your money. I recommend coming here to everyone as it’s such a relaxing experience.
