Just had the Texan Smokehouse burger and tbh it’s the best burger I’ve had in a while, grab it while it’s still on the menu. Highly recommend these guys.

Needed something to eat and didn't want a big meal, just a sandwich. The choice is huge and and very tasty indeed. I was very impressed. Staff really friendly too.

They catered our party. Great food, staff, and organisation of everything. So nice not to have to make and serve myself. I got to enjoy my party without any worries. I highly recommend them from start to finish.

Sausages were luke warm, if that! Unsanitary inside as-well could do with a good clean. Not worth the price £9.50 for a “full english” portion was tiny and had to pay £1 extra for beans also £1 extra to sit in. Would not recommend!!!

Thank you for the great food for Sheffield General Cemetery Volunteer Christmas "Do". It was absolutely delicious and our volunteers commented on how good it was. The Red Lentil Dahl With Roasted Butternut Squash And Red Pepper was fantastic but my favourite was Yorkshire Dales Best Stewing Steak Braised in Red Wine With Winter Root Veg And New Potato. Thank you for the great service too.

Was recommended it by a colleague, asked the staff what they recommend to have and had a turkey club and it was stunning, possibly the best sandwich on Ecclesal Road and the staff was helpful and friendly. Would definitely suggest to anyone looking for good food.

Have Been going for years . Not your run of the mill sandwiches. Great flavours great choice ,different specials daily. Well worth a try.

We stopped as we were passing by. It is on Ecclesall Road, opposite the Tesco precinct by the Traffic lights. Large selection of sandwiches. Served promptly. Sandwiches and coffee were good. Very good value for what you get.

Lovely fresh and tasty sandwiches always. A true life saver in lockdowns or if in meetings at home /work. Especially when can't get out. Always something different. And more so if you go to the shop. If they have not got something in will phone and offer a good alternative. Highly recommended

Don't bother ordering from them on any app (City Grab in my case). Order rejected after 20 minutes with no reasoning. Pretty bad customer service.

One of the best breakfast sandwiches in Sheffield.

Ordered burger for me and a sandwich for my wife. A hair was hanging from sandwich and the burger was RAW in the center when they arrived. The waitress seemed rude when we said we didn't want to eat or change them. Not be going there again.

Fantastic food and lovely staff!

Food tasted OK but staff wore no face coverings and were assembling the food without gloves as well then going on to touch tills and in one case touching their face. Hygiene standards seem suspect.

No gloves during the pandemic? She made my sandwich right in front of me with no gloves, touching all salad and meat with bare hands, then moved on to next one?? Had to go Tesco and buy any other sandwich. Won’t be coming again

Asked for two large sandwiches which he took the bread off the shelf then proceeded to cut it in half which isn’t a large sandwich then they got my order wrong as I’d asked for a bacon egg tomato I got bacon sausage and egg, one tea and one coffee nearly 12 quid an absolute rip off, only go here if your feeling flush

There was no "click for delivery" on the app. I live across the city and was under the impression there was a delivery option. I am disabled and not able to collect. They rang me to ask me when I was collecting and I explained I couldn't. He was extremely rude to me and now I have wasted my money and didn't offer a refund. What a joke.

Had bacon sausage tomato on a ciabatta and it was just unbelievably good. 10/10 no complaints at all and the staff are brilliant!

The staff are consistently manipulated by a horrible owner. He pays his staff whenever he can afford too, he shouts at them and puts them down then walks to the betting shop across the road to spend their wages. He bullies young children by shouting at them endlessly trying to get the “best” out of them to fund his gambling addiction. DO NOT put money in this vial human beings pocket.

Ordered two English breakfast at the price of £9 each to not even be served beans on the plate. My friends breakfast looked like a totally different menu item all together with nothing to facilitate swallowing the food. Poor sod had to get orange juice to get it down her neck. When we asked about the beans the owner looked puzzled as if we asked for the world... said you either get that or tomato? Even though my friends plate wasn’t even served with tomato or beans... Coffee was apparently included in the breakfast however I was charged extra for this? My friend paid for a large coffee which added £3.90 on the bill and was the exact same size as mine. Would not recommend at all, a small business selling overpriced food which I wouldn’t even pay 4£ for.

Staff take forever to acknowledge and serve you. Overpriced extortionately as two cans of Fanta costs £3.20. Sandwiches are slapped together on a small unhygienic counter which is probably why I’ve had to continuously go to the toilet since eating from there.

Have visited on and off for years and a particular favourite was the Thai chicken sandwich. Went last week as was in the area and ordered said sandwich. First weird thing was that even though there was no one in front of me I was told to take a seat and someone would come and take my order (I wanted to eat in). Why the faff and not just take my order there and then? Staff member came to take my order and wow she was scruffy. No apron and shirt and skirt covered in food mess. Looking around and the whole place had a run down scruffy look about it. Old newspapers and magazines strewn around the place, mucky floor and sticky tables. Then came the hugely anticipated sandwich ☹️ . Whilst the overall flavour was good it was bone dry. No sign of the described mayo, portion size a bit in the thin side considering paying £4.85 for it. Then came to pay by contactless only to be told minimum payment is £5 and that they could add the 15p on the round it up. Who does this now? It’s actually cheaper for the owner for customers to pay by contactless than it is by chip and pin or going to the bank to bank cash. Don’t think I’ll be returning.

Jim and his team did a great job at my mothers 70th we really enjoyed the food. His staff were excellent and all my mums friends commented on the food. thanks Jim

Great little cafe, I always choose this place when on Ecclesall Road. The breakfasts are the perfect size, coffees are lovely and the staff are really pleasant. It's a little bit round around the edges but that what I love about it, it adds to its charm. To the guy that left the review on the 13th April.. Anyone who refers to a sandwich as a 'sam sam' really shouldn't be allowed to leave reviews.

Jim and his team catered at our wedding yesterday. We discussed menu ideas and eventually settled on a Moroccan theme. They produced starters, three tagines and numerous salads and sides for 140 guests and it was all nothing short of delicious. We had so many compliments from guests. Service was excellent and he truly catered to our specific requests. Jim is clearly a busy man but I felt that for a week or two before our wedding everything he did was about us. My wife and I would highly recommend him.

Went in for a sandwich on my dinner break. Greeted by a man (I assume the owner by the way he was bossing people about) he was shouting at clearly a new starter - about a 15/16 year old lad - if that. It was really uncomfortable and not necessary at all. The boy obviously looked embarrassed by this because it was in front of a busy shop. I felt so awkward and nervous like I would be told off for breathing. From some of the comments below...seems like I’m not the only one that has witness this weird behavior from Mr boss man. He also asked if I wanted pepper in my sandwich 3 times. So obviously he needs a few lessons on listening. Nice sam sam though.

Es muy acogedor y el personal es ellos mismos para trabajar, de buena manera, son auténticos y encantadores, y el servicio es fabuloso. Elegimos el café y tanto lo normal como lo descafeinado fueron excelentes (dijeron que están experimentando con este último), muy por encima de la media y mucho mejor que el Starbucks, etc. La comida también era muy buena, servida rápidamente por una nueva camarera que hizo un gran trabajo.En todos los niveles, definitivamente buscaremos este lugar nuevamente.

Need a bank loan to eat here. Aldi quality at Harrods prices. Very polite lady but the 2 men........ witnessed them roll stuffing balls then make our food without washing his hands. All breakfast items pre cooked and kept warm. For the price I would expect freshly cooked . Coffee and tea overpriced for the quality. If you are in the area and feeling hungry, find a Greggs

Found this place by accident and nearly walked past cos it was a dull day and the outside did not look too inviting but we were so glad that we went in We were a group of 6 and were really impressed by the service and range on the menu. I had one of the specials a aTurkish aubergine, potato and olive bake and it was delicious. There was lots of traditional things on the menu too. One of our party was a wheelchair user and she was able to get in easily. (Not sure if there was an accessible loo. ) Prices were average for the area.

Great food, but the owner is seems a little disturbed. I'm not really sure what his problem is, but I've never seen anyone conduct themselves in such an abrasive manner especially considering all he owns is a little sandwich shop. Still a great location, and I'd highly recommend the club sandwich for lunch

£4.25 for a salad box with maybe 1 pounds worth of food in it. So pretty bad prices, not as good as the sandwich shop next to uncle Sam's.

Una era de un pastel de pan viejo con la capa más pequeña de carne vieja y desvencijada. Ambas eran solo grandes trozos de pan con cantidades difíciles de llenar y tardaban demasiado en prepararse. Muy decepcionado y una pérdida total de dinero. Fuimos a otro lado para conseguir un mejor almuerzo.

Great food. Terrible customer service! Ordered a sandwich and drink sat outside with a friend and was asked to leave because it costs extra to sit outside. No one had told me this whilst ordering the food. One table was taken and all the rest were free!could understand if it was busy or if I had purchased the goods elsewhere! So now 3 customers lost.

A great place to lunch and then sit and eat in the Botanical Gardens. The sandwich choice is good and specials change regularly. A few of the staff are sometimes a little terse. Not impolite, just a little direct and that can seem unwelcoming but don't let that put you off. It is popular so as you'd expect, it can get busy at lunchtime.

Really nice lunch, not too expensive. Had a nice front outdoor seating area. Service was good, food portions good (did go for the large though) and of a high quality.

I was appalled to witness the most awful dressing down of staff for "chatting" and then again for "talking to me when you're doing something" (after the staff has been asked something by this awful manager) when I popped in with my 14 year old daughter yesterday. Had I not felt so sorry for the staff I would havecwalked out at this point and found somewhere else to eat. The girls in question were helpful, polite and lovely so I can not fault them. However due to this man's vile behaviour I will not be returning and I pray the the girls will find alternative employment where they will be treated with some respect and dignity.

I often pop in from breakfast on a Friday. The service is not the quickest but the food is cooked from fresh it doesn't cost the earth and it tastes great. The Eggs Benedict with Salmon is simply excellent.

I have been to spoilt for choice in the past and have had a good experiences but i recently went and was disappointed. My friend ordered eggs royal and it was served on a brown bread cake (not a muffin) which i found abit strange also i ordered beans and eggs on brown toast it came on white toast which was slightly annoying as we had been waiting for quite a while for our food. I told the waitress who took it back to the chef, i had to sit and watch my eggs and beans getting scrapped off one plate and placed on to brown toast. Poor customer service

vivieron en Sheffield por 5 años y este lugar ha cumplido me sirvió un almuerzo no puedo ir a cualquier otro sitio. Con panes caseros de salchichas, un estrafalario toque real en el sector de los huevos y bien pensado rellenos ciabatta, el amable personal está siempre dispuesto a servir - me han introducido un nuevo período muchos y lo recomiendo a cualquiera.

It was early on a Thursday morning when we went to Spoilt for Choice. The sun was shining, the memories from the night before blurring and the head was pounding. Being able to sit outside at Spoilt for Choice is really nice addition to the place. This place is cheap to medium price range, and offers a nice alternative to coach, as well as being a great place for breakfast and lunch in its own right. We were able to enjoy the fresh air whilst chowing down on our sandwiches and sipping on our smoothies. I've been a few time now, and would recommend the brie and crambury as well as the full English breakfast. The vegetarian options very good also. In terms of drinks I think the berry smoothy, it is banging. Service is was really friendly, and overall, no real complaints.

Really good experience at Spoilt for Choice, and I really was Spoilt for Choice (Sorry for the terrible pun). The menu had a lot to offer and I was impressed with how many vegetarian options there were! I had a brie and cranberry toastie and a berry smoothie which were both lovely. As it was a sunny day, we sat outside however the blankets normally provided weren't out yet which would have been nice to have. The service was prompt and the waitress was really friendly. I will definitely return

The sandwiches are tasty with good quality ingredients. Staff occasionally grumpy.They did used to deliver to an old place of work of mine. Someone from spolit for choice, who I assume was a manager or possibly even the owner got the humph one time after a complaint that they had brought the wrong sandwich. Insisted on the original sandwich being returned despite the person being in a meeting. Powers that be got pretty irritated by that considering that we were dropping ££££s there on a yearly basis and took the custom elsewhere.If I were running the place I would have been straight up with with a selection of complimentary cakes and sandwiches etc as a way of an apology.But, like I said, food is good but they were a bit grumpy sometimes.

Regularly go for brunch as they have really great sandwiches, ciabatta melts and breakfast options. Good choice, affordable and tasty food.

small coffee house, that prides its self on speciality coff and teas. on inspection not as special as youd expect. espresso,latte,americano,or cappuchino. made special with your choice of syrup. there are 3 tables in this place,and we were asked at the door if we were looking to sit down..then inside before we sat down we were asked what we wanted to drink. menu,was ok but nothing inspired,salmon with a poached egg,and cress on it. the choice was spoilt by the lack of it.

Whether you are meat eating or veggie you will find something here of excellent quality and they do great breakfasts , salads, snacks and fro kid too. Very friendly , hard working staff with all preparation visible to you behind the counter.

This place never disappoints. today we had the Full English breakfast priced at £6.50 including choice of drink and buttered toast. It's excellent value for money because the ingredients are very good quality, sausages particularly are often questionable in a cafe breakfast.

Always great food. Can be busy, but the staff are friendly and efficient. Happy to make food to your exact specification (no butter/mayo etc). Great to sit outside and peoplewatch - when the weather is good enough.

I'm really surprised by some of the reviews here. Every time I've been I've had fresh, interesting and tasty food. What's not to like? It's not even expensive...

I popped in on my lunch break one afternoon. It was quite busy with takeaway customers. The waitresses were lovely and smiley. But the gentleman who took my order was so abbrupt and quite rude! He rushed me through my order, didn't smile at all and clicked me to move out the way so the rest of the que could order! I left feeling quite flustered. My BBC melt though, was amazing, really tasty! But a very weird way of serving customers, I also notice they shout a lot to each other (it's a very small cafe I don't think you need to do this)

I cannot comment on service as I didn't go there, a colleague went to buy us sandwiches. I asked for Parma ham and mozzarella sandwicg. It cost £3.80. For a dribble of mozzarella and one slice of Parma ham. I have uploaded a photo so just look for yourself how appalling the offering was.I really don't say this often but it was a huge rip off.

Terrible service. They just ignore you. I ordered a large ham sandwich. Ham couldn't have been cut any thinner. The bread roll was like half a loaf of Hovis. Sandwich was tasteless due to the stodgy of the bread. It was promptly disposed of in the bin outside Mister Carpet only 2 doors up. AVOID at all costs.

I used to live on Eccy road and eat in here regularly and despite the choice on Eccy road this is the place for me. Relaxed chilled but amazing choice and value. All freshly made with interesting fillings and lovely fresh bread. The staff are friendly and relaxed

Had lunch here. The food and the location we could not fault - the sandwiches were freshly made and delicious and it is in a prime location. However - we were unimpressed by the offhand attitude of the staff, the messing about they did in full view of customers and with one person in particular who spent the time we were in there grazing on the food as it was being prepped.Spoilt for choice? - in this area - I think not.........

We have been a few times now and enjoyed it so much. They offer so many options you really are 'spoilt for choice'. My girlfriend is vegetarian and she raves about this place. Most options she has ever seen. Also, says that the vegetarian sausages are the best she ever tasted.Breakfast sandwiches are excellent. But the very different and original options for a regular sandwich are amazing. My most recent choice was roast ham, jarlsberg cheese, lettuce and mango chutney. Wonderful filling on delicious bread. Always had pleasant service as well and not over priced.Best sandwich shop on eccy road in our opinion. Perfect for a pack up when heading out walking in the Peaks!!!

We went for breakfast and ordered an English breakfast... Disappointed that we didn't get any beans and as we left other tables got beans. Not only this but the owner I assume a man in his 50s barking orders at the waitress to pretty much move us of the table because it was getting busy.. We were still finishing off our drinks and for him to get the waitress to do is dirty work was pathetic. Don't bother going in if you want a relaxing Sunday morning because you have to eat and get out quick.

We were looking for a light lunch on Ecceleshall Road on Friday and went to Spoilt for Choice. We sat in the sun and had an excellent meal. food is freshly prepared and the service was excellent. It is very good value for money-well worth a visit.

Another long running Sheffield caterer. SFC make amazing salads, great shrines and offer something different form the average lunchtime sandwich shop; even if you can't afford to buy a sarnie everyday you should treat yourself at least once a week to one of theirs.

Originally from Sheffield, I get back to the greatest city in the world a few times a year. Every time that I do, I feel the need to come here... bacon, Brie, avocado and lettuce; large, with black pepper. It's the best! And all served by people who are (or think that they are) above you in the social rankings... hence the reason I take away, and only score it a "4"!
