What a lovely idea! Felt so homely and we are happy we stumbled across them on our drive our Hadrian’s Wall!

It's a real shame FBC changed their rules and licences so the Splitscreen barista is no more :( Used to enjoy my weekend hot chocolates and cakes. The staff were always really chatty and friendly which was great.

I’ve had a few coffees here over the last year and have to say I’ve never been disappointed. The coffee apparently is specially blended and roasted for them only, and it’s lovely. Service is very friendly and the young lady serving always has time for a chinwag and a smile. Thoroughly recommended for a quick coffee when your out and about, and the cups and lids are made from vegetables and 100% biodegradable👍

Pulled in to enjoy the view at The Meon Nature Reserve, down the road from Hillhead. Tucking into sandwich when we spotted people walking by with coffee. Then I spotted a VW camper with a coffee machine. We both had a cappuccino and it was really nice. Reasonably priced too. It was served up in recyclable cups and lids which was good. The only thing I thought of afterwards was that there was no dedicated rubbish bag for these cups etc, it all went in the one black bin liner. Does it get sorted?

Went for a walk down at meon shore and started seeing signs for a coffee stop. For people looking for a walk at that end of the beach or to keep their hands warm whilst the kids play; this is something that has often been required but always missing. Had a delux hot chocolate which was fresh and the best I have had in years. Always a good sign NOT seeing a load of chocolate powder residue at the bottom of the cup. Like the produce, simple but stylish offering and really friendly owners. Thoroughly enjoyable surprise.

Was a busy afternoon in the pub, lovely big garden, ordered food £60 which was literally thrown down on the table by a rude waiter, who shouted as we were with a large party and we ordered the food to one table but we were all around it , we were told to sit at the table ordered in a very rude manner a bowl of onion rings thrown down on the table in front of my husband. His attitude was absolutely disgusting.

Just grabbed a quick takeaway tea and coffee. Service was quick and both drinks tasted fine
