Honestly one of the most delicious places I’ve found,

Not happy missing items still waiting for a refund

We were really looking forward to 3 dihes of a lamb curry and a spinach and a mushroom side dish. Specifically asked for minimal oil. Perhaps related to the very early delivery, lamb utterly inedible... gristly, chewy, nope. Rest over-oily.

This food was so delicious, it became an experience and not simply a meal. I’ll be ordering this again… and again : )

Butter chicken was disappointing with a really small portion, and the rice was really dry. Naan was undercooked with doughy bits

food was delivered very late and could not eat it again as it was late

This was the very best I have tasted in a long time. It was absolutely delicious and we all enjoyed the whole of the meal. I congratulate the chef on this meal.

Delivered on time as usual with special requests fulfilled thank you portion sizes seemed to be a bit smaller than usual not sure if this was because they are in different packaging and wasn’t as good as normal a bit dry but still ok it was Christmas Eve so a busy night

10/10 as always, great portion sizes (usually lasts me 2 days), cannot fault them!

Our fave local Indian - delivery driver was so lovely and the food is delicious every time! Love trying the house specials, and the prices are great.

Prompt delivery. Only ordered veggie dishes (onion bhaji, veg dhansak, mushroom rice, sag paneer, etc) but everything was good quality and cheaper than many other local Indian places.

use this take away all the time rare that they are late. but had people eating a little disappointed as required it on time

Couldn't even eat the food was stone cold and lamb was so chewy had to throw it all in the bin

very nice, I ordered ceylon lamb curry good, tasty gravy nice and spicey. I did ask for a lamb tika roll in the special comments but it might depend on what's available, however the chicken was good the salad crisp and the bread good too. Friday night treat. Yum yum yum!!!

This was my first time ordering this way and also the first time I have ordered from Spices. great fllavours . Everyone enjoyed the food , just wish there was a bucket size . esp the Patia . I could order the gravy and drink it like soup.. its so delicious! now I understand why people use this method for ordering....

Ordered the Yababa Sauce and got instead sweet chilli sauce, slightly disappointed as was looking forward to the mint chilli sauce. Food arrived disoriented, one curry had leaked the whole bag, it either they have too much delivery to do in one go and the bag itself get crush with other orders. Spicy papadum was cumin seed, not original papadum, they seem to come in a package and fried, not like the big papadum you get that are fried on the spot. Both curries were outstanding! Will order again, but this time tell them to add the correct sauce and leave the papadum

This is our new favourite Indian take away. Really reasonable prices compared to competitors and the food is fantastic.

All dishes were fresh and tasty, particularly good were sag paneer, dansak, prawn puree brinjal bhaji. Would have liked bigger portion for the veg side dishes or offer a large option? Great food and good value.

the chicken korma was full of water and had NO flavour, the nan bread was nasty i use this curry house all the time but this time most of it went in the bin and i had to use another curry house to get some food so i cost me twice ...not happy

Food was really nice I’ve tried a lot of Indian restaurants on just eat but this place is the one for flavours an spice as am from Bangladesh I love spice this place hit the spot I don’t really leave a review but am going to on this restaurant it won’t disappoint you an the prices are good £6.05 for a lamb biryani with all the flavours great an no one told me to put a review up by the way I did it because I really enjoyed the food

Lovely taste of different spices and very filling food. Ordered way too much, but I’ll reheat it tomorrow! Will come back again! Although they forgot to bag my rice, the old “get in there my son” with the nann bread method of eating it was also fine. And I tell you what, it wasn’t too hot. Very good value for money, best wishes if you read this. Don’t forget to tip the driver.

never had a onion bhaji like it bright red so it went in the bin was sent the wrong rice and the chicken was hard i think it was frozen so was not a good curry at all

Terrible Madras. No spice at all. Terrible everything actually. Won't ever order from them again.

The food was poor quality and was not the same standard as it usually is. The naan bread was burnt, the samosas had barely any filling and the biriyani had hardly any meet and it was bland.

Absolute garbage served in the name of CHICKEN BIRYANI. Chicken isn't freshly cooked along with rice. Who eats biryani with a curry. I bet the chef didn't had authentic biryani in his life. Disappointed and absolutely gutted

Ordered tandoori chicken tikka, sag aloo, pilau rice and naan. Everything hot,fresh, on point and next level delicious! I havent had this in years but the taste and quality was identical as always. I need that sag aloo receipe please and thank you for the consistently good food. Yum!!!!!!!! Yum yum please can i have some more!

I usually love spices and order regularly but today the keema rice was very very oily :( Also delivery took a long time (40 mins late) and no apology or acknowledgement from the delivery driver. Bit disappointing but maybe I caught them on a busy night.

Unfortunately, Spices forgot to include my naan bread (part of Set meal for 2), which my kids were disappointed about, but because we live 3 miles away, there was no point of calling and asking for one. Food very good, as always.

Best Indian take away in South London. Food is always roasting hot when it arrives. Big portions. Big thumbs up.

Ordered a butter chicken which was ultimately half a tub of oil. Even when stirring it around to try and mix the curry with the oil it was impossible to blend due to how much oil there was in the tub. Looked absolutely disgusting and had to throw away as couldn’t even consider the idea of eating it - grim

the food was actually so vile i put it in the bin, there was a weird looking substance in my curry which i assumed was coconut until i tasted it. really unhappy with this order so won't be buying from here again!

I love Spices, their Keema rice is my favourite and a very good price! I also order the chicken dansank and it is tasty and again such good value for the money. The delivery driver they use is so friendly and the restaurant listens to the order notes! Very happy and I will be back x

Always great, best value curry in the area by far. There are one or two curry houses that might be marginally better, but you'll pay a lot more for it.

I’ve loved Spices and eaten there many times but today my order took 2hours 45min to arrive and we live less than one mile from the restaurant. We were given an estimated delivery time of 40min, and had no update on our order - the Just Eat app said “delivered”. When we tried to call the restaurant we couldn’t get through til we’d waited over an hour and a half. After we’d waited for over two hours, we finally got through to the restaurant who told us our order would be with us “in fifteen minutes”. It took an additional 45min. Absolutely terrible service, if the orders can’t be fulfilled, don’t accept them! Plus, we received no updates on our order throughout this process - it took us trying to call them 11 times before we received an (incorrect) update. We had no apology. I really want to support Spices, as the food is great, but honestly not sure I can place another order with them in future. I would love a refund, and for them to work on their customer service.
