I had a terrible evening cold food miserable quality and service. However food exceptionally good but would prefer it hot as everyone would. Might go here again doubt it but the food was great I will miss if only they did a better job

Pedimos comida para llevar en este restaurante por primera vez, la entrega era excelente, sin demora, y alimentos - ¡una de las mejores comidas que he comida para llevar. Yo tenía cordero y el arroz Biryani, eran una parte bastante grande pero estaban deliciosos. Tiene una buena relación calidad-precio y volveremos a usar este restaurante para llevar nuevamente. ¡Muy recomendable!

Esta fue nuestra segunda visita después aparece en un domingo, cuando fue inesperadamente mitad de precio! Nos fuimos el viernes por la noche y cuando llegamos el camarero (posiblemente el director) era atento con poppadoms y bebidas pedidos. Un nuevo camarero sugirieron que el tamaño de las porciones y los aperitivos eran los mejores que he probado en un restaurante hindú. El servicio era tan un poco lento, pero cuando llegó la comida valió la pena esperar - si algo se agregó a la sensación de ser recién preparado. Los platos principales, como los entrantes, era impecable. El Naan panes eran un poco soso, pero ahora que estoy siendo pinnickity. Lo único que un poco deje que el restaurante era un cliente que se quedó dormido, pero era un curry House en un viernes por la noche y el personal nos las arreglamos para disimular esta distracción nosotros ofreciendo un gin tonic!

Este restaurante / llevar fue tomada hace poco y sin duda no está a la altura de los anteriores dueños. Literalmente el peor curry imaginable y totalmente sin sabor. Pedimos una poor madras (supuestamente) discoteca más curry: no sólo era deficiente en el calor, pero una tipo roja algo jabonosa)salsa también - de sabor es la mejor manera en que puede ser descrito. Total ¡puaj!

He venido aquí un número de veces, pero sólo recientemente pedir comida y recogido, en contraposición a alojarse en para la cena. Habiendo sido dijo que era nuevo menú, decidimos probar nuestro viejo favoritos. El cordero Jalfrezi todavía es el mejor, e increíblemente sabroso como siempre. Pero shakooti de pollo no tan bueno como de costumbre. El servicio es siempre atento cuando por dentro, pero ya que puede ser muy tranquilo en el que puede parecer que falta un poco de ambiente (bien para una parada rápida de fogata después de una tarde en el trabajo, en vez de una noche de sábado). Las raciones son un poco pequeñas.

A veces te encuentras anhelando determinados sabores y con cerca de unos pocos restaurante indio alternativo por mi compañero y yo decidimos que a pesar de las instalaciones está vacía que probar Safa. Cuando estaba claro el lugar estaba impecablemente limpio y bastante bien organizado y uno de los camareros rápidamente nos acomodó y tomamos unas bebidas. Bebidas y poppadoms llegó rápidamente con las chutneys habituales y ensalada, Curiosamente las poppadoms llegamos en barrios pero todo era aceptable y presentaba. Tras navegar por el menú que pedimos ambivalente pakora es a compartir en un entrante, un plato de cordero con sizzling chili ajos y pimientos, Korma 7.50 de pollo, paneer Masala, arroz y un naan keema pilau. Era evidente que tenían necesidad convirtiendo en el restaurante vacío era aburrido nuestro camarero como él continuamente acelerado ida y vuelta, no es un problema en sí, pero un toque molesto para ver. La mezcla es pakora llegamos en un plazo razonable pero no parecerse a la morish delicias he probado desde cualquier otra cocina. tesis instalada pequeños trozos de cebolla, coliflor y la berenjena incrustada en una pasta acompañado con una ensalada india estándar de restaurante se sirve en un plato rectangular. Sospecho que los chefs estaban intentando acercarse al plato con un moderno ejecución pero, francamente, que he tenido mejor pakora es que puede comprar congelado desde un supermercado. El servicio era todavía oportuno como la mesa estaba despejado y a menos de 10 minutos o así que nuestros platos principales llegamos. Mis temores cimentada con la forma de presentación utilizada, lo más gracioso moderno tazones y platos utilizada y la extraña cesta pintada por naan. Mi cordero era sabrosa con un buen nivel de calor, pero la carne estaba completamente masacrados. El arroz pilau estaba bien hecha, pero el plato fue presentado en hacía raro para regalar. Mi Korma 7.50 asociados era increíblemente agradable y tenía una irresistible la cantidad de cocoteros pero la carne estaba bien. El naan keema era bueno, pero sirve en barrios como pizza. El paneer Masala fue un fracaso, el queso era tan pequeño corte o simplemente recocido hasta el punto donde se había convertido en un mushing enredados experimentado, espinacas y salsa. Me puede alejarse totalmente pasado la presentación y vajilla, ya que es solo mi opinión pero teniendo en cuenta lo tranquilo el restaurante era la cocina del cordero y el sabor del Korma 7.50 los curries globales en el Reino Unido es francamente inolvidable y es imperdonable.

Un grupo de nosotros fuimos el fin de semana y no necesitamos reservar. Esto en sí normalmente me hacen desconfiado pero estaba muy bien.

Modern, trendy and refreshing décor, and not traditional curry house theme. Service was friendly, and food quality and presentation were fine. Do not accept credit cards, which was a nuisance

Fue invitado a este restaurante con una gran fiesta y todos hablan maravillas.

Wanting a quick evening meal on my own I was recommended this lovely restaurant. The tandoori chicken was HUGE portions and succulent too! The salad served with it was beautifully presented and dressed (not the usual shredded lettuce) The waiters were impeccable and polite. The prices even better. HIGHLY recommend ! Kate from Bedford

Not knowing the area we chanced upon a fantastic evening meal in this restaurant. Staff were friendly, attentive and a waiter recommended my mum & sisters main course. I went for a lamb passanda which I thoroughly recommend. The poppadoms, sauces & onion bhaji were delicious too. We weren't rushed at all, and spent a lovely evening there.

The reviews about the shockingly rude manager refer to the actual owner who doesn't go there any more. I am sorry about this, as an evening with Mr Nasty is one of the funniest experiences Camberwell had to offer. The current manager calls him Basil and told me that he took the job on assurance that Basil would not set foot.A couple of examples of Basil in action:Standing scowling at the door and getting very cross with people who read the menu but then don't come in, following them up the road to berate them.He took my used fork off my starter plate, put it back on the table, and refused to give me a clean one even though I asked repeatedly. 'You're not allowed.'He insisted on tucking the napkin around my lap when I didn't actually want him to.When I asked for a bottled beer and said I wanted to pour it myself - I like to knock the gas out of it - he actually poured what he could into a small glass, and then kept the rest behind the bar. He refused point blank to bring me what I was paying for. 'No! I am not doing it!'There has been a smart refurb and the food is good actually, but yes, it does take a very long time to come out of the kitchen.The waiters are eager to please but I would go more often if Basil was still around.I heard he has another restaurant somewhere. I will be there in a flash if I find out where it is.

The menu is interesting and very well priced.The service was brilliant.The sag paneer was divine - the best that I have had outside of India.I would travel to London just to eat here again

Manager was the most unprofessional and rude individual I have ever encountered. He first aggressively questioned what I was doing at the counter even though I walked through the open door. He said I could not order till 6pm, this was at 5.58pm, so I sat patiently while he looked at the calender on the computer. I then asked could I have a deal advertised and he said again very aggressively that it was for eat in only, I then asked how much was the minimum card spend (the menu said £8) he said £10. When I questioned this he started saying it was the owner who decides these things and he couldn't do anything about it, I was just about to tell him to keep his business when he started arguing with another man in the back of the restaurant, at which point I left. They don't deserve your money, even if the prices are cheap.

If you are thinking about heading to Safa for night out, don't !!! Here are the reasons:1. Order took over an hour to come2. They didn't have half the food on the menu in the restaurant, simple stuff like tandoori chicken.3. When the food did come there were gaps in bringing out different peoples food of 20 minutes +4. They brought part of peoples orders, e.g. their meat without their sauce, then brought out the sauce an hour after they had had their meat.5. Didn't get my side order at all, they seem to stack lots of nans together and pile them at the opposite end of a 15 person table and not make this clear to customers.6. Two of our friends were there for over 3 hours and did not receive their main course at all, and ended up leaving a the end of the night with no food, despite nearly everyone at the table individually complaining.7.When we asked to speak to the manager, it was possible to see him in the kitchen telling the waiter to "sort it out himself" and refused to come and speak to his customers.8. Any time the manager interacted with customers, he was rude and angry, worst customer service i have ever encountered.9. After all of this, there was no apologising, no effort to make their customers happy, in fact when they brought the bill, they then tried to over charge us.10. Shocking service, would never go out here again, and out of principle would not order take away from here, as the manager is shocking!

really good food and a good price for big portions! very lovely staff, quick service for a relatively busy weeknight. really friendly place!

We ate here early on a Saturday evening as it was close by and was on our tastecard.I tried to ring in advance to book but both numbers went to answer machine.We turned up at 6.15 to an empty restaurant and were seated.As we began ordering I advised the waiter I had a tastecard, but he stated I couldn't use it as I hadn't booked an hour in advance (despite my attempts). Shortly after he came to advise me that they didn't accept tastecards on Fridays or Saturdays, but I then showed him the website which indicated they only had restrictions on Fridays - needless to say, they wouldn't accept the discount card.Anyway, negatives out of the way. We ordered a moxed pakora starter and poppadoms - both were excellent.The waiters were a little slow in taking our order for mains after starters were delivered, despite us being the only people there and there being 3 staff!Our mains came and were beautiful. really tasty curry.We both thoroughly enjoyed the meal and it was reasonably priced (even better if you get the discount you should)I had to venture to the toilet before we left, and I must say this needs to be improved. Quite a poor condition to be honest, but didn't ruin my evening.I would return here, and would recommend the food. Just book in advance ;-)

This is the best restaurant ever in my life...Wonderful service, restaurant ware so busy even the gentleman who served us on the day was very professional and the food was so testy... I can’t tell you more than that......!!

The service was fine - though they have real napkins on set on the empty tables - but once you sit down you get a small paper napkin instead!The two main dishes we had were rather poor - little seafood in one, and the other, a strange dish with deep fried whole eggs and potatos in a rather sweet and rich sauce.Also there were no low cholesterol options - e.g. most things deep fried, and not even a dahl soup on offer...The popadoms and condiments were good mind you...

Soulless place. My food turned up 40 mins late. Staff were very rude and arrogant. Go to a proper curry house.

This restaurant served up delicious curries from a varied menu. The curry I chose was pretty spicy but tasty and had a lot of veg as well as the chicken which was nice as this dosn't always happen. The portions were just right, the naan yummy and the plates, decor and music perfect and stylish. Seemed popular with locals and we really enjoyed our meal.

Tasty food, but very small portions - not really justifying the price. Elegant decor, if not a bit stiff. T'was nice but not memorable in the way the management would've hoped for. would
