Wrost food ever too smell in chicken

Have been going to Spice for many years. The food has always been fantastic and authentic. The service is always incredible and very welcoming. Highly recommend.

Great meal out with the kids also, they were very welcoming to our 7 and 5 year old kids, the food was great, authentic and not too heavy like some other places, we will be back :)

A nice, quiet restaurant in Chalfont. Service good, food was very tasty, and the owner made the effort to come and say hello which was very pleasant.

Really have enjoyed several visits and the service and food continues to be÷enjoyed and valued! Genuinely enjoy the quality of the dishes served and the service too. Also, have appreciated the extra customer service and personal engagement as a return customer.

All food was served well, plenty and tasty mild to savoury (perhaps too much sugar in some dishes and some chicken pieces were a little rubbery) Friendly service and owner greet personally and checks all ok.

First time trying and would have to be honest and say it was the best place for Indian/Bangladeshi food i have tried. I have also never experienced such hospitality from any other restaurant in this town. Would definitely be returning. Thank you

Excellent food, the best Biryani I’ve ever had. Chef came and spoke to us which was a lovely touch. Not oily but good, authentic Indian cuisine. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

This is a very accommodating and tasty indian restaurant in Chalfont st peter, it has the usual starters and mains and vegetable dishes all competently cooked , but its secret recipe is its staff who are welcoming warm and friendly and nothing is too much trouble ..great waiter anwar

Such nice food. The service was exceptional. We ordered delivery and the gentleman who delivered it was so polite and efficient. Our order was error free and super tasty. We plan to visit the restaurant next time but a definite yes from me and my partner.

Just ordered some Poppadoms and sauces as my kids love them. They are all stale and when I called they weren’t bothered at all. Disappointing

Really tasty food, decent value for money. As some others have commented, the bottled Cobra not quite as cold as it could be. Overall, warmly recommended - I'll be back next time I'm in the area.

We nipped in whilst visiting the area. Found the restaurant on trip advisor. As every other review states, the food and service are first class. Absolutely delighted with the meals we both had.

First class food and an exceptionally friendly owner. We had a wonderful evening here tonight (Oct 2021) and were thrilled to find some more authentic tasting dishes. As good as anything we’ve had in Brick Lane and definitely a much better atmosphere. We’ll be back as soon as we’re able.

The food is good and tasty.However,they need to update the menu pricelist and actual price list.The toilet has flush needs to be looked at however it has a pleasant smell and it's clean and regularly checked. Overall, a nice visit with yummy food and pleasant environment.

Superb food but quite expensive.

This is in my opinion by far the best Indian restaurant in the area. I have eaten out of here for years now and never had a bad meal, I wouldn't go anywhere else now. The food is of great quality and the staff are always kind and accommodating under the supervision of the wonderful Zia. I 100% would recommend to anyone looking for authentic and tasty Indian cooking.

I love The Spice, it’s the best restaurant in the village and the takeaway is also delicious! All the food tastes so fresh and the owner always goes above and beyond and is so kind. We order a takeaway every other week and always look forward to it!

Giving one star itself is a bonus for this hogwash place. Rude waiter/attendant, stinking place. Above all it's not an Indian restaurant, it's Bangladeshi restaurant having no sense of making curries and using spices. Don't waste your money by all means.

Owner was very rude and arrogant and gave poor customer service he served our party out of date and dreadful tasting after eight mints after a very average meal and passed it off as acceptable to do so as we were not paying for them? Will definitely not be returning feel very sorry for the staff who were lovely but the whole experience for the cost was awful!

The best curry in CSP (and further afield) and a great part of the local community supporting the vulnerable and NHS staff during C-19. Fantastic fresh authentic flavour, which never disappoints.

Great Food ... Good People Enjoyed the best Chicken Tikka Bhuna I've had for many years. Even though it's a difficult time for everyone, it was service with a smile as usual. In times of crisis, good food is good for wellbeing! I hope Spice can continue to do what they do so well ... I'm already looking forward to my next takeaway.

I've been tussling with 4 or 5 stars. The fact that I cannot make a decision leads me to 4 as 5 stars should be without doubt. Food is very,very tasty (rich,fiery prawn vindaloo last night for me with my wife properly enjoying her chicken chef's special) but both our recent delivery orders arrived later than advised; not massively but 15-20 mins. Also, I like paneer! Paneer shashlik, chilli paneer, mattar paneer, paneer jalfrezi etc.etc. Sadly, none are to be found on the menu :(

There are 3 Indian restaurants in Chalfont St Peter and I've tried them all. (not good for the waistline!) This is is the one I prefer for eating in and takeaway. The service is very good - they are attentive, quick, helpful and unbelievably courteous. It is usually quiet from Sunday to Thurs, when you probably don't need a reservation and they're offering a discount at the moment. Fridays and Saturdays tend to be busy and you probably need to book. They will adjust the spiciness of their dishes if you want a milder dish for your children. Enjoy.

Tasty food and great service. It was a Thursday so quite quiet at about 7pm but that's expected. The village is chav central with BMW burnouts on the hill outside so don't expect a nice English village experience.
