Could not fault it it was delicious

First time ordering, food was delicious and plenty of it. Estimated delivery was around 1hour 10, and it arrived within 25 minutes so very impressed with quick delivery!

The best Indian in Stroud. The food was superb, atmosphere electric, lovely and clean, but what made this place a 10/10 was the amazing staff. Ali and his partner (whose name I unfortunately didn’t get) provided excellent customer service making sure to check on us frequently and the food came very quickly. They even placed a fan next to me when they saw that the spice of the madras was getting too much and I began to sweat profusely. Couldn’t recommend more and I will be back next time I am in Stroud.

Fantastic curry - highly recommended. Delivery was on time and food was really hot however wasn’t delivered for 1 hr 15 mins after ordering

I ordered biryani and it takes over 2 hour to get delivered. I call restaurant to check about my order and the guy on phone is was laughing and not even listing to me and after waiting for 2 hours I got worst food of my life the geven me plain rice by adding chicken and salad in it.

Served raw chicken, so sent it back 20mins later brought out a different chicken dish and was burnt so told them to forget it and we wasn’t paying as we couldn’t eat it but they were intimidating and made us pay Never to return absolutely disgraceful!!!!

AVOID!!! 🚨AVOID🚨 Spice lounge peasdown!! Me and my partner have gone for evening meal for today. Food was horrendous. I order chicken and waited 35 mins. I don’t mind waiting, excepting a nice meal. And well it was far from it. Raw chicken had blood coming out all over my fork 🤢 They took it away with no sorry nothing. Waited 20 mins for a replacement and was burnt to a crisp and was dry. So I decide I’m not eating this anymore. Told the staff and was ordering I pay for all of it! Pointing in are face when we said we are not happy paying for it. And touching are buggy trying to hold it! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SEVICE And staff are so rude! Everyone is there is not happy with there meals/times.

Shut this place down immediately. Its a food health and safety nightmare. Staff are rude.

My chips was cold the scampi was not very nice and the sauce on the lamb dish was all over my hands when I took it out of the bag for husband,I will not be using them again

We normally enjoy our food from Spice Lounge but today was not a good day. The food quality was poor. Some items were inedible.

Nearly 1.5 hours late I rang twice arrived nearly 8pm curry 2 pieces chicken 10 halves boiled potatoes!!! Ordered keema nan got pashwari it was gross I’m allergic!!! Not good … cold food and poppadums floppy so soggy not happy

Pre ordered for delivery at 6.30, didn’t turn up until 8pm. Multiple phone calls made to them & given a different excuse every time. Not even nice food when it did turn up - don’t bother.

Foods great. Always enjoyed the food! But I pre ordered my order for 7pm and it still arrives 50mins later.

Normally a great takeaway however the last two times we have ordered the delivery has been over the allocated time despite the app saying it’s been delivered once it gets to the maximum time. Last order food was still acceptable. This time one order had spilled all in the bag and the curries were lukewarm at best. Chips and rice cold

My favourite go to placewhen I want a curry. Never dined in always a takeaway but the quality must be the same.

Absolutely shocking service. The food was freezing cold but that isn’t unexpected when it’s well over an hour late.

Ordered at 5.40pm, acknowledged delivery time 6.40 - 7.00pm. Turned up at 7.45pm, chips, rice and madras all cold. Shouldn't have to warm up in the microwave, may as well of had a microwave curry meal. Poppadoms were soggy.

Our food still hasn’t turned up, we rang the restaurant and they’ve said 10 minutes. This is terrible, is there anything you can do to compensate us for this? - if we order something for a time we should have it there.

Over 2 hours late and when I called they kept saying yeah it’s on its way but then another 20 minutes would go by and my food still not here this went on for a while

Order 3 hours late and counting. Ordered at 5:40pm with delivery due in 45mins, called to chase at 7:35pm and was told 15mins, called again to chase at 8:40pm and was told 10mins... 9:25pm and still no order

My order took 3and a half hours I live five minutes away from the restaurant I ordered it at 10 to 6. It turns up at 9:20.

Spice lounge..What on earth have you done?! Wow! Just…wow! And not in a good sense. Liquid slop that you can pass the time away with playing ‘find the meat’

Everything else was good but ordered veg samosas bc I’m vegetarian and ate one before realising it was meat.

Ordered food at 7 but was delivered after 9:30! Lucky I was cooking a pizza for the kids so the oven was on when the food arrived STONE COLD. Zero customer service, average food and disappointed kids. I won't be ordering from here again. If you do, here's a tip. Ask them how busy they are because they really struggle to cope.

It won’t let me choose the time it was late but we ordered at 7:30pm with an estimated time of delivery between 8:30-9pm At 10pm we are still awaiting our food! Not happy in the slightest with very little done by the restaurant, including trying to use getting lost as an excuse when we live 10 mins away on one straight road.

I ordered a plain naan bread but received a garlic naan which was not what I ordered.

unfortunately some of the paneer was very hard and tasted off. it was a disappointing saag paneer

Fantastic Food and service. I don't like anything cooked in butter and they made sure that my biriani was cooked in oil. They also made sure that everything was ok with my meal once it had been served

We regularly visit Spice Lounge and have never had a bad meal, food is always tasty and hot. Service is always good also. The fact that it is also take your own drink makes it a really reasonably priced meal out.

Greasy popadoms that bent in half, tasteless food and to top it off it was late. Very disappointing, it’s usually good from here.

This really hit the spot!!! Husband collected and said really friendly service and couple of free poppadoms and dips much appreciated. First time we've had Indian takeaway since moving to the area about a year ago - doubt it will be a year before the next after this!

Gotta to be the worst curry I've ever had (in my 50 years if enjoying curry) we had a lamb starter which had no marinated spices at all and was so tough it was inedible, it was a good portion though. I had a tandoori mixed grill, chicken was very dry, same tough lamb. Jalfreze didn't have any resemblance to Jalfreze at all and really wasn't very nice. Mushroom rice was foul. Nan seemed to be only cooked one one side. The poppadoms were good though.

Ok food, but restaurant missed the rice off the order. We could have raised that with them but already took an hour for delivery so we didn’t.

Delicious curry, a huge order with lots of different dishes- all very tasty! The onion bhaji and spinach sides were especially good. Really recommend

Spicyyyy! 🔥 some of the lamb in the biryani was a little too chewy for my liking but the flavours were wonderful. It was quite spicy though so having a drink with it is very helpful. Lovely flavours and good food. Also, whatever that yellow dip was that came with it was soooo nice! I couldn’t stop dipping my poppadoms into it haha! Again, flavours were lovely and the aloo gobi was perfect. Will definitely order from here again.

Used to do a good curry. Not so much anymore, last few have not been good. Prices have gone up but the quality has not stayed consistent, is gone down Food bulked out with onion. Generally overly oily, Can taste the oil on the poppadum’s Shame

I guess valentines night was busy! The food was great but the chicken Patia lacked any tomato and indeed all 4 currys ordered looked exactly the same. The rice was not fried rice that was ordered. The papadams were all smashed but overall it tasted good. We had to phone several times to ask where our delivery was. The time slot was 8-820 but didn't arrive until done half past. 9. The guy in the restaurant even asked if we could pick it up!! The whole point of a delivery is so we could have a nice relaxing evening with a drink. Spoilt the evening being so so late as we all had work the next day, and the anticipation of looking forward to the meal had long gone. Would I order from there again, yes but would deal with them directly and not through Njust eat.

We normally love our food from Spice Lounge and never have a problem, but this evening I ordered at 1830 and the food arrived at 2145 after 3 phonecalls. Each time I rang I was told it would be 5 mins or was in the car. When the food arrived the poppadoms were all crushed into tiny pieces, the chana massala was only half filled and both the nans were not great, compared to the usual quality. I understand it is Valentines and I knew it would be busy. We were more than happy to wait a bit longer than normal, but this was ridiculous! The person in the restaurant didn't even offer an apology on any of the phonecalls! The delivery driver did apologise for the wait.

Was scheduled to arrive at 6.50pm, when it hadn’t arrived I called and was told it had left the restaurant 10 minutes ago. An hour later after it still hadn’t arrived I called again and was told that it had left 2 minutes ago. 20 minutes later it arrived, 2 hours after it was supposed to and I wished I hadn’t bothered in the first place. Most food so oily that the paper bags were soaking, you could squeeze drips of oil off it (particularly samosas and bhajjis)The special rice is just plain boiled rice with some random manky looking egg in it. We ordered and paid extra for more mint sauce which we never got. Meat in the curry’s was so tough that most couldn’t be chewed and had no flavour. All curry sauce tasted exactly the same as the other. Sag Alloo so salty it was inedible. Nothing tasted nice and in the end we just ate a little bit and binned it. Total waste of time, money, and energy chasing delivery of something not worth getting in the first place. Asked for refund which was denied despite all of the problems. Will never order again!

The food was fine but waiting 2 hours was not. A 90 minute delivery time, with then a 25 minute delay on top of that, means I wouldn’t order again. Had to call restaurant to chase it up, no apology, just said it they were near my house, which wasn’t the case as it still took 20mins after that ( and we live 7minutes away)
