I have used rice and spice for several years now and I would not go anywhere else! The food is amazing, location is perfect and collection is so easy and quick!!

I didn’t like how my food was delivered the pot of sauce got dropped and she offered to put it in the bin and was giggling with my food in the hand at my door I wasn’t happy it should be handed over with care

food was okay but came ridiculously late. wont be ordering again.

We’ve given this restaurant multiple chances but we won’t be ordering again. The food is consistently extremely late. The food itself is fine but the packaging is always damaged and leaking all in & out of the bag so everything becomes stained yellow. 2 hours+ on a monday evening is unfortunately not acceptable. A few free poppadums thrown in for being late but this didn’t make up for it. For context i ordered another takeaway 30 minutes after i ordered this & it came 50 mins earlier than ours

due to personal reasons of the restaurant the food was a little late but fully understood the circumstances, the food was still hot and really nice could not fault it at all would fully recommend buying from this restaurant 😀

Ordered at 6:30, finally after calling restaurant multiple times and being told it’s on its way, it turned up at 9:40pm, freezing cold and unfit for consumption! I want a full refund for this. Unacceptable. The staff member was rude and didn’t have any remorse and was more bothered about finishing work. Trying to make me feel as though it’s my fault!

Had a takeaway on 24th January 2025 And sorry to say the food was awful. Onion Barges under cooked Bombay potatoes under cooked the food was tasteless sorry never a gain.

Ordered delivery as we were unable to leave the house tonight. Food should have been delivered around 19.25 and had an on its way at 7.15. Waited until 19.47 and called them. It was just being bagged up, annoyed but let it go. Waited until 20.15 and called again - it’s on its way, food was delivered eventually at 20.30 by a really lovely delivery lady. Food unfortunately wasn’t great and was all covered in a film of oil. We unfortunately won’t be ordering from here again.

Over 2hours our delivery time and still waiting for food. When we called them we were just told it’s in it way. Won’t be ordering again from here.

Over 2 hours and 40 minutes late. Was supposed to be for the kids too ended up cooking them food and they have ate and gone to bed before it’s even been delivered. The restaurant said they were waiting on delivery drivers and would not give us any idea of time. Asked for an eta or a manager to call us numerous times and heard nothing. The delivery driver said they were at the restaurant waiting for 40 minutes for the order. I don’t feel this is acceptable

my food never arrived. I paid in advance. why take orders on if you cant fulfill the order. I waited over 3 hours and wasn't given any eta.

I can't complain about the food, it's always incredible. But we waited 3 hours for delivery this evening. If you're too busy to deliver within a reasonable time frame, maybe you should stop taking additional delivery orders. But again... the food itself was piping hot and incredible, as per usual.

On front page it states if over £25 spent you get a free additional item. When asked what this will be staff knew nothing about it and subsequently there was no free item. Rather misleading. Other than that a good service as usual.

Food was bland the chips looked and tasted as if they had been microwaved and when I bit into the chicken it was under cooked.

After reading reviews on here, it would put most people off. Not me, I've used this place on many occasions, ordering through Just Eat. My order has always been on time, and more often, it has arrived early. The food has always been delicious, no complaints whatsoever. I will carry on using them.

Chips were limp, put them in a cardboard box to keep them dry. Curry was very average. Onion baji were very dry. Not the best take away.

Had a takeaway from here. Ordered on just eats, decided on picking it up as was not far away. Food was ready on time and very good customer service. Food was tasty and cooked well

Food was 20 minutes late. I became unwell a couple of hours after eating the food. My husband became unwell the following day. This used to be our go-to Indian, sadly not anymore.

Ordered over an hour before to make sure it came on time, had message at 7.15 and 7.30 advising it was going to be late still waiting now it was booked for 7.30 to be delivered

Absolutely awful. Food was stone cold. Was told by someone who was definitely under 10 years old that they couldn't find previous address so that's why ours was late. So much oil in my husbands dish. Shame because normally they are really good but tonight has put us off forever and will be getting our Indian else where from now on

my order was due at 6.05pm and at 6.25pm i requested through just eat where my order was and straight after this i had a phone call from the restaurant apologising for the delay and she said our food had just been bagged up and she was waiting for the delivery driver to collect it, our food finally arrived at 6.50pm, the food was piping hot and everyone enjoyed there meal the only little criticism other than the delivery was the vindaloo was not as hot (spicy) as usual but was still enjoyed

I always love their Chicken tikka always tandoori oven toasty but it wasn’t tonight it was a really weird texture as if cut the wrong way? Chewy and soggy very weird none of us could eat it .special rice was cold with just mince very cold!

Ordered a delivery via Uber was updated at 45mins- actually took 1.5hrs. Rang at the hr mark to be told the driver had left 5 mins ago. About 30mins later food arrives and is lukewarm warm at best! I call again and am told driver only left 10 mins ago and if I want they will recook and send if I return the food… At that point I said not to worry I will re heat the food as was getting close to 9pm and haven’t eaten. Real shame as have had good food here before but will not be using them again

Wasn’t as good as what we previously had.. but was ok.. forgotten items from order ( hopefully will be refunded).. little bit dissatisfied as last time we had delivered food was fantastic..

As always from the spice and rice, the food is okay quite tasty but always delivered cold every dish except the dall this time good job the microwave is working

Best indian takeaway in the local area and bath great quality great price and delivery drivers always on time even on weekends!

Apart from that it was lovely and drivers child was sweet

Ordered 2 hours ago, still no delivery. called the restaurant and they seemed confused about my order, say it left and should be with me soon… they should not offer delivery if they cannot manage deliveries.. I would have arranged to collect instead

Delivery late due to accident which is understandable and communication was good about why would be late, but food arrived very cold.

Found via Google Maps. We placed an order before we went shopping. Took a little longer to get back from shopping. The owner recognized me right away. Gave extra papadum and sauces and the food was really delicious. Not very spicy, so good for us!!

Quality of food great , ordered several times over the years but unfortunately today think there was a miscommunication as just eat app said “enjoy your food” marking as delivered and didn’t turn up until 30 minutes after. Food still warm though and sure tastes as good as always.

One of the worst takeaways I’ve had in a long time went in to order was all okay first thing I noticed that put me off was witnessing the girl behind the till picking the poppadoms up with her bare hands and bagging them up for me after touching tills money doors etc. then after bringing it home it’s all stone cold even tho only live 5 mins away. Curry was all grease I know it’s supposed to have a bit but it’s half a container full. Garlic nann was just uncooked dough with raw clumps of garlic. Only edible thing was the rice. I don’t think I’ve had an Indian this bad

food arrived 75minutes late so factor this in when ordering, food was great although one of the dishes had leaked, the staff were great both the lady on the phone and the driver, to be fair they also included a couple of free items so just let down by the food being extremely late

2hrs late and missing an item. That said, the quality has improved, used to be terrible, now ok. ordered due to a promotion offer and to see if it had improved. But not consistent at all 2/5 on a bad day, 3.5/5 on a good.
