Chips, Nan Bread and Lamb chewy and a bit cold.

brilliant food as always. The delivery drivers are excellent! Food is always hot and as we are in a new build they always call to check where we are. Really courteous and friendly.

Always lovely food from here. However this occasion, driver arrived and said curry had leaked on way. Give them a call and they will make a new one if needed 👍. But when assessing the damage, everything swimming in curry sauce. Chips destroyed. And now my once white high gloss table is now orange.

Just had meal for 2 delivered with extra poppadoms and nann bread, order delivered quickly, all hot, tasted amazing lots of flavour and just enough spice . Best curry I've had in a very long time will definitely be ordering again :) Thank you

Food was incredible, very generous naan bread and chips portion sizes, chicken was cooked well and the spice levels were perfect.

Curry tasted of vinegar and nothing else and was very watery. Chips weren’t cooked and had to be put in the air fryer. Starters were nice. We won’t be ordering again.

Was very slightly late but only by minutes. Unfortunately was not that impressed with the mains but the chaat puri was nice

Collection time was very fast (less than 10 minutes). Lots of sauce with the curry. Meat was dry and chewy.

Ordered some food and waited about an hour for it and then it came after 2 hours and I rang it 12 times and then it finally came stone cold I was fuming

The Naranjee curry was incredible, one of the best I’ve ever had, thick sauce, great flavour tender marinated meat. I was sad when I had finished it! Hands down the best curry house in preston!

My food was delivered within the estimated time and piping hot, I have ordered from Spice King on many occasions and I have never had any issues at all, always hot and delicious and delivered by very courteous drivers. Highly recommended.

Our first order with spice King overall was average, we ordered our normal dishes that we'd get elsewhere. However, from Spice King they seemed to lack spice, which was unfortunate. Don't think we'd rush back. Nothing really bad to say about the food other than lacked the normal kick we like and it was mainly sauce and lacked meat or filling. Nan bread was very good 👍🏻

First time ordering from spice king.. beautiful old school chicken madras perfect thick sauce no water! Poppadoms fresh super crispy! Found my new curry delivery.. awesome..

Over 3 hours for a delivery so we turned it away - I rang to advise of this and to explain why and their response was: "we'll try and sort out a refund" - simply NOT acceptable!

Top 5 star rating! Food was ordered but as under collection. Called to change it and they were having to do it, then called again to say I’ve already paid for it. Called again for an eta as forgot to ask and it arrived on time. Food was hot, taste superb and staff members are amazing!

Ordered here for 3 weeks now every week. Each week I haven’t eaten the chicken due to being over cooked. Accidentally ordered chicken again and phoned the restaurant to change to paneer. Was told no because paneer was ‘more expensive’ - but happy to change to vegetable with a £1.95 difference and didn’t suggest how they would refund it. Guy really rude, food from here isn’t all that anyway so cancelled entire order and ordered from somewhere that is cheaper with edible chicken 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁 avoid

Biryaani was not traditional biryaani. Served with omelette and separate curry which does not make any sense. Should go back to India and learn how to make Biryaani

3/5. Arrived quicker than expected. Food was hot. Bhuna was nice. Pilau was nice. All the meat was slightly overdone unfortunately and I got a spring roll instead of a samosa, which had gone soggy under the rest of my mixed starter.

Arrived scalding hot, struggled to lift it out of the bag it was so hot😂😂 food was lovely, would deffo order again.

Food was so disappointing. Hardly any meat, watery sauce, bland. Chicken was spicy in the Korma?! Asked for madras less hot, all could taste was chilli powder. A waste of £40!

Soft popadom, korma bulked out with green beans, cheesy chips served in a paperbag all cheese stuck to bag. Kebab very thick and some pieces hard. First and last time I order from here.

Went there for dinner today with my son, service was fast and the food brilliant. Everything super hot and freshly cooked. Will definitely be going again. Great portions size too.

I received a text to say food would be delayed by 10 minutes. After waiting another 35 minutes the food still hadn’t arrived. It arrived after 45 minutes, quality was ok, fortunately it was still warm.

Second time ordering from here - bhajis are really good! Had a jalfrezi and previously a madras - both very tasty. Naan very good too. Will order again.

As always, the food was fabulous. The only downside to this place is the delivery times...they initially give a delivery time of anywhere between 45mins and 90 mins but never update this. I was once going to get in the shower when my food arrived 20mins after ordering. Another time I needed to pop to the shop but luckily didn't as it arrived after 30mins. Once the shop confirm the order they never update to say it's on its way. This would be an issue if you have company or other things to do.

By far the best takeaway I've had in years! The good was amazing and piping hot. Enjoyed every mouthful! Only niggle was the delivery..because the site told me I was in for a lengthy wait, I was just about to get in the shower when the door bell rang! The site doesn't update. Was glad in a way as I was starving but I might have nipped to the shop to kill some time

On time piping hot and delicious…I ordered tandoori starters as don’t tend to eat much but it was cooked to perfection and piping hot…with a very very tasty naan and a chapati which was delicious along with the mint sauce 🤌…the only bit of feed back I would give would be to please add more onions to the base of the tandoori starter as there weren’t that many and the ones that were there could have done with just a touch more cooking…will definitely be ordering from here again

£12.50 for chips, chicken madras and rice is an absolute rip-off! The food has gone terrible too, used to be really good at one time!

The curry I ordered did not taste right It tasted Asif the ingredients were off U rang up the restaurant and explained this to be told that the chef said it tasted fine well I’m saying it doesn’t I was basically told to like it it lump it I have been advised to report them to trading standards and keep my curry in the fridge The customer was disrespectful I’m a paying customer I wanted what I paid for very rude

Was hoping for good things as we've never tried here before. When the food finally arrived it was actually quite nice to be fair. When ordering the restaurant given a delivery time of between 20:20 - 20:40. I gave them until 21:00 buy I still heard nothing, I then tried to ring the restaurant but the line seemed to be engaged on the 5 attempts. I then notified the just eat and straight away I was given a rescheduled time of 21:15 which is a long time from the initial time of ordering at 19:00. So disappointment ruined the taste for me on what would of been a nice curry should it of turned up on time.

Order says it has been delivered but hasn't. They won't answer the phone. Tried calling 10 times. Pregnant and not at all happy, paid on my partners card to so feel so bad for him 😔😤

Was disappointed at how much meat was in both curries. We order from her all the time as well and it was more sauce then meat. Not happy spice king. Normally there is lots and meat to sauce. We will keep ordering as it’s always good food.

These people are so fantastic. You never get disappointed with their food quality. The food is always clean. Always hot and fresh and always great service. Very very poor mixed kebab salad was borderline off dark green no Donner meat on a mixed kebab ? £8.50 portion size was shocking barely even £4.00 worth if it wasnt someone's livelihood I would have got a refund through justeat won't recommend and will not order again very disappointing

Not good when you order very early, food was cold when we got it.

I have been here a couple of times which was very nice but I ordered a take away 23/10/2022 and it was terrible I ordered a madras curry sauce which came dark red the chicken tika was nothing like chicken tika poppadoms never arrived sorry guys but won’t be ordering again
