Best spice hut brunch on this side of east. Food and service always consistent with flavour and service.

FABULOUS WELL PRICED CURRY. Real curry full of taste and flavour , big portions and fresh .Fantastic little kitchen , great staff , only high praise, no faults and when i left my wallet behind they kept it for me to collect and all my stuff and money wss untouched . Parking outside .i had a top lamb madress , rice , nan , bombay aloo , chicken tikka starter and it cost £21.50 and its really vey good quality curry ready in 15 mins from phoning up !!!

Absolute gem. I was overwhelmed by the choices available and their affordable prices! Really crispy fries and finger licking good wings.

The best Spice Hut hands down, the wings are totally different to the other spice huts and tastes proper, impeccable service, made me fresh chicken thighs for my order, because they ran out, try this branch, you wont go to another.

It's probably one of the better spicehuts. The ones in Tower Hamlets have really gone downhill.

The food was absolutely amazing and tender. The wings was filled with seasoning and excellent taste. Not only that but the service here is the best I have ever seen. I always tend to come here every time I go out with my friends. Such kind uncles masha'allah

A staple in the food industry of Newbury Park. Can’t go wrong with the naga doner, they provide an ample amount of chips, cooked to perfection and they are very generous with sauces. And prices? The best in east London.

The driver didn’t come straight away after picking food up. En route driver turned to different directions couple times for no reason whatsoever unless done multiple drops before arriving almost 10 minutes late and food wasn’t hot enough to preference

They gave me the wrong drink and forgot my chips

Chips was too dry and cold, no sauce, no salt in the food and the food was too oily and greasy. Didn’t like it at all and it was not like.

The food came all leaked over the bag and soggy very disappointing I want my refund, why is it being delivered like this!

Food was hot and fresh. Tasted nice. Wings I think may have changed as they weren't very spicy. Burgers were nice as was the doner. Tables need wiping as they were not clean.

Customer service is atrocious. Check your bills and check everything before ordering. They'll overcharge you. The food was still delicious, but it's just a sad state of affairs that they have to be the way they are.

Ordered family meal - f5! They packed warm chicken. How can you pack warm chicken for takeaway? Should be piping hot. Didn’t have enough wings gave four nuggets instead of two wings. Didn’t ask just swapped! So clearly none of the chicken was fresh! Service - front staff was very friendly. Food taste was ok but just disappointed I got home after 3 minute drive and chicken was not hot. Warm chicken is not great at the best of times!! Everyone was annoyed at me why did I stop and grab takeaway from that branch 😳

Well where do I start.... I have been to this shop about around 4 times and the first time was the best, the second time I found a hair in my food I have also had to take the food back and the rudeness that my wife received was shocking it was sorted out in the end, know this I gave it one more try as the food is good on this occasion I was sat in the shop and only being half way finished a member of staff asked me twice if I were finished even though he could see I was not, this rudeness of the staff showed again on this day when I was asked to leave as soon as I had my last bite. The shop have me and another customer he was not asked to leave, this was not normal so I just left and will not be returning any time soon.

Better than Gants Hill one which is an absolute s.hole in fact it's probably the best outside East London Avoid Gants Hill, Ilford and Barkingside Spice 🛖 unless you like a bit of food poisoning

Tried this place based on good reviews and the lack of decent Indian curry places in the area. The doner roll was OK and the curries were nice. The korma was spicy - I called today and they will make it non spicy next time.

Lots of mice / rats in area , spice hut has very low hygiene score 2 out of 5 (according to just eat). Nearly every take-away has much better hygiene scores.

I had chips that were not cooked unfortunately. I asked for my Donner to made hot it was very mild. The comments I left were not actioned. Wings fell out the bag due to excessive oil.

Not the usual spice hut chain, its just another chicken shop with guys being moody, one the the guy is really nice the young guy

It was good food very quick the lamb doner was a very good portion nice chips but the wings were alright they had a weird extra bone in all of them

Hardly much meat in the curry, overpriced and was mediocre at best in terms of taste. Delivery driver was appalling, not warming at all, took a wrong turn, was on his phone even during the handover and seemed a bit rude when actually delivering. Honestly, baffles me how you can employ people with a work ethic like that.

You can never go wrong with their lamb donner, really savoury and spicy! They are very attentive to notes such as “no onion in salad”.

They gave extra chillie sauce tubs as requested

Chicken burger and doner kebab real nice at Newbury Park spice hut. Normally fried is whack at spice hut but this ones good.

This is restrithat actually gives extra chillie sauce when asked in accordance with the size of the order. Unlike some other places that don’t. I wish these places would just add chilli sauce at a reasonable price (eg at cost price) to the menu and at least in that way extra chilli sauce would not be a cost to the restaurant.

2 wings were missing on mixed donor but the rest were OK

The food arrived early but was not good at all, flavourless the Tarka dal was very watery and bland. I had very good food in the past from spice hut, I hope this was a one-off I'll give them another try as I said the food has been good in the past.

Thank you soo much im a regular customer of spice hut aswell on uber eats and i just wanted to say a big thank you once again to the brothers or brother that has been generous jazakallah bhaisab and I'll love to rate the takeway a 10* but theirs only 5* but from me its its a 10* also the food is extremely tasty and delicious is a 10* the service is a 10* thank you again

The food was absolutely disgusting. I ordered 40 wings and they they gave me old, off wings and just re-fried the wings. The wings had a funny smell to them, after having one bite I was physical sick. I ordered late at 22:15, not long before they closed, but that is no excuse to give me old off food. Disgusting food. I would avoid this place 100%, unless you want food poisoning.

First time at Spice Hut Newbury Park ordered five piece of chicken, so dry, no taste, and it looks as its been re-fryed again Never going back

Really disappointed with our meal. The doners came without any salad (salad on a doner is a default), the chips to all the meals were stale - like they had refried old chips, and the chicken fillet burger had the thinnest, smallest piece of chicken in it, barely any salad and the tiniest but if mayo. Oh and they were tight with their sauces too. So disappointing!

Edit: great experience since my last review. Lovely people and great food at affordable prices. Food with a bengali twist. I've been to this place a few times, and haven't been disappointed before. However, i am extremely disappointed by my most recent order (2 large lamb donners, chicken burger and chips and 4 wings). When i took my order home i realised the portions were in fact 'regular'. They charged me extra to make it large and there was barely any salad as well. I have ordered many large donners from this place before and i can tell you that the serving package was aways full and not half empty like it was served to me.
