ordered food at 20.30hrs, it's now 22.12hrs, my app is telling me to enjoy my food, but no food has been delivered. I order from here regularly but today has been ridiculous. I've rang the restaurant 5 times to be told different excuses each time!!!!!

when the food came they was food missing it was left in the shop and when the missing item arrived it was cold never ordering again

Would definitely recommend spice house food is fresh nd nice.

When I feel like wanna eat pizza.🍕 I will definitely buy from Spice House. I love Spice House Takeaway, one of the top best takeaway in Nottingham. The chips from them keep making me go back to them. Even if I don't buy any big meal from them, I would just buy chips from them. Their chips are so yum yummmm. They have kebab and few others choice that you can choose.The size of the burgers 🍔 sooooooooo much better than any fancy restaurant in Nottingham. So it's a daily thing to go there Thursday or friday, the shop keepers are kind and it's a place for a meal (especially deal 8) so FIVE STARS!! ☆☆☆☆☆

I ordered when the restaurant was due to shut in 10 minutes. I called the restaurant to apologise, the man on the phone ensured me that it was ok and that they were happy to do my order. It was delivered early, and the food was lovely. I tried a kebab with a spiced, fried fish and it was incredible. It was the first time i tried the fish like that. Thank you, and i promise to not order at a silly hour next time.

Best kebabs in Nottingham value for money

I've said this for many years! The best kebab meat in Nottingham! They use a special trimmer thing, nobody else has it, Spice House cut and trim the juiciest kebab meat money can buy! Truly number one!

Tried to me the delivery driver knocked on my door on time but I was at home and waiting for my food and no one came to my door. The staff along with the delivery drivers are liars!!!

food was late by 45mins and arrived cold not happy will be getting a refund

We ordered 2 pizza, chips and large doner. This came late and they only gave us one pizza rather than 2 and then they delivered a new order and the quality of the food was horrible. I’ve always ordered from here.

Food arrived 1hr 20mins after point of order. So food was around 25 mins late. Was not told about this until I phoned up after an hour. Food was okay and was not particularly cold but it did not taste freshly made due to delay.

Always nice food and the kebabs are really good value

Although it came on time, it was stone cold, burger was under cooked , chips was brown ( hours old) garlic bread with cheese was like pure dough and cheese no garlic

I was not impressed with the food it was very overcooked and also not how they usually make it the burger bread was also stale I would like a refund as I threw most of the food away

Asked for sauce and salad to be served separately. Two dishes turned up smothered in sauce and salad.

Late delivery item was missing

The food was dry and disgusting. None of it was fresh. Chips were rubbery. And the "chip cop" was burger buns with Fries. Disgusting. Not ordering from there again.

Ordered at 20:20 food arrived eventually 22:20. Called the restaurant to be told “it’s on the way” to which it didn’t arrive for another 40 mins. No apology when it did arrive. Food was okay, chips was soggy, cheesy chips inedible as they’d been sat so long the cheese was hard. Usually good food but the delivery and customer service isn’t the best.

Food arrived very late, 45 minutes after it left the restaurant (according to the app) and about 30 minutes after the app said it had been delivered. Phoned the restaurant multiple times regarding this and was told they are busy and will get back to me, only to be left waiting and to have to call them back myself. Food was decent but cold on arrival (probably due to the fact that it took them 45 mins to get here despite me only being 10 mins away from restaurant). I imagine if the food was hot and fresh it would be worthy of 5 stars as once reheated I really enjoyed. Moral of the story, if you eat here, go and get it yourself, if you want food to be delivered to you, probably try elsewhere.

Overpriced, average food, smaller portions...not worth the money imho. Can get much bigger portions and better quality food for less money at other places..! Its not bad , buts its not great either. Would be unfair to give it less than 3 star but also hard to give it more than 4 star when iv had much better value from other places....

Said it would be ready for 17:20 was ready alot later we had to attend a 1dish party but was delayed because food arrived late .. the food is always tasty..

Food Quality has dropped shockingly, ordered SFC chicken deal and you could tell the batter had been eaten by staff of the chicken, as I have seen this before, bunch of guys crowding around at the back either picking salads or pieces of chicken or other bit of customers food, Hanif (Owner) was running the place good, but he employs the worst people to run it!

Kept delaying then 20 min late after say out for delivery and then food was cold

Was supposed to be chicken wings, donner , tikka, shish, seekh,with naan. There was no chicken wings, so i can't give five stars considering how much i paid extra. It did arrive hot though, and 20 minutes early although i wasnt expecting it that soon. Quality of food was very good. Donner was especially good quality meat and well seasoned no random hard bits of bone etc, not the really salty fatty greesy tasteless rubber strips with bits of gristle in that most places do.

Fantastic service by staff always and food is 90% of the time on point. Very busy place, expect a wait on weekends or early evenings due to their popularity. Location is perfect to near a tram stop and close to local shops and houses. Updated 2023 stil THE BEST IN NOTTINGHAM.

Kebab nan with jalapenos was nice pizza mediocre but why give me some nasty cake instead of my ben and jerry ice cream if you dont have item do partial refund or take it off the app.

The best chicken tikka and chips in Nottingham!

Ordered at 9:15, delivery time given at 10:05-10:25, called at 10:40 and some mumbling later (which sounded like they couldn’t find or didn’t know about the order) he said 5 minutes. Called again at 23:00 when the man said it’ll be 2-3 minutes the driver has been busy, I’ll give you something free next time you order. Will not order again. Strongly recommend nobody else does.
