I recently visited your restaurant, Spice Fusion, and purchased a chicken tandoori. I specifically requested a spicy one, but what I received was very disappointing. The dish only had some green chilies added and was far from what I expected in terms of spiciness.The service I received was also subpar. It felt as though my request was not taken seriously, and I was treated as if I were begging for the food. This experience has left me highly dissatisfied.I highly recommend that others avoid Spicy Fusion based on my experience. I hope you will take my feedback seriously and work on improving your service and food quality.

Always a great meal whether takeaway or eating in. Tasty and authentic.

The food at this restaurant is not too bad; some dishes were actually quite enjoyable. However, the customer service leaves much to be desired. The staff's behavior was poor, with lack of courtesy. Unfortunately, this significantly detracted from the overall dining experience.

Not a cosy place, lots of coming and going from delivery drivers and loud phone ringing for their orders. A bit shabby, quite dated with plastic tables and grubby menus. The food was very 'takeaway' like, it seemed reheated, and you could stand a spoon up in my curry. The lamb tasted odd. Service was quick but not engaging. Some seem to praise this place, but it's not a place to go for fresh tasting authentic curry.

We booked in for 22 people on Friday 10th May for a 60th birthday. First of all the restaurant is welcoming and spacious, we had a lovely room that accomodated us all comfortably and the staff even allowed us to decorate the room as we liked. We arrived early to set up balloons, banners, presents and cake and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They were eager to help and really set the tone for the evening. Service was spot on, couldn't have asked for better to be honest. Staff were attentive and efficient, drinks and food arriving in record time despite being a large party. Food was incredible, so tasty and served piping hot. Not a single missing item, despite our party ordering a large amount. Value for money was exceptional too. The manager dealt with us personally and was nothing short of fantastic. Would recommend this restaurant in a heartbeat and will definitely be back soon. Thanks for a great evening!!

Since trying here for the first time a couple of months ago, this is now our number 1 Indian takeaway....only wish we had tried it sooner rather than sticking with our previous one. The food and service are excellent and I cannot recommend it highly enough ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

World class. A small 'Indian' style restaurant tucked away along a quiet road in Dereham. One of the few restaurants I have been to in Norfolk that I haven't complained about. Good fresh food - Fair prices, especially during the mid-week. Attentive service. Excellent all round ! Exemplary in fact.

Midday on a May Saturday. Dined in, service great. All food was nicely presented. Portions were good. Menu had a good selection. Prices on point. All the food was delicious. Surprisingly we we the only ones in the restaurant. Definitely return here.

We ordered a takeaway, 2 meals.were forgotten, they were promptly delivered after we rang which was great, but one of them was very cold-the sag. The passanda chicken was very dry also. We had some complimentary poppadoms-thank you, but they did smell and taste very odd so we didn't eat any after tasting them initially, a strange oily/plastic taste, not sure what that may of been. Naan breads were all good and the rice's ok. Just some feedback for you :-).

What a shame our evening was spoilt by the "cash only" rule which we were not advised when we entered the restaurant. We actually only had 1x Banquet night special but we think the restaurant treated us rather badly when we explained this. Hurriedly took my cash and small balance by card. It was, to be honest, really embarrassing to find ourselves in this situation. So, no tip guys, and sadly, we don't want to come back again. We hope you are happy!!

Spice Fusion in Dereham is the place you want for fine dining.. I travel the country hitting all of the Indian restaurants trying to find out what hits the most.. guys, you want to try this place if you're looking for top flavour and great prices.. I am working down here for 4 nights and this is my 3rd visit making it 4th tomorrow.. friendly staff and chilled atmosphere to eat this delicious food.. get yourself down here with the family.. you will not be disappointed James

My wife and I came yesterday evening for dine in at Spice Fusion Dereham, and we had a very bad experience from the staff(I hope it’s the Owner). It’s not the first time we went for dine in, we have gone many times but haven’t faced such a worst experience. It was purely discrimination and racism. We haven’t expected this from you. We won’t suggest this restaurant to any of our friends again anymore.

Worst experience towards customers by owner.today when i went for dining, the owner is dealing with us very badly.as per england rules they need to keep manners with the customers, i felt that its just like a discrimination and racism by the owner to us,this is the first time thing previously we were used to go and have dinner over there its ohk and we felt that its good but today he is( owner)he is showing very bad mannerism,atleast he can use word plz to say something towards us,he just spoke the way by ordering,we are customers so they need to little polite,felt that really like racism.

The food was really good.... The starters were smaller in quantity than expected but otherwise great. It was a bit pricey otherwise perfect! Great evening!

Very nice meal great value as good portions

Went for my first visit last night with a friend. Could not fault the food which was excellent. The only thing that let it down was the staff was not very welcoming and seemed miserable. If it wasn't for that would have given 5 star's.

Went here for buffet night (starter, main, side, rice or naan), which is on a Wednesday. It was fairly busy, but the service was reasonably quick, and the food was fab. Bill was just under £50 for two of us, which included 3 large glasses of wine (2 for me and one for my friend).

Updated 19.08.23. Went this evening, usually my preferred sit down in town, but didn't go well tonight. The poppadoms did not crunch or taste well, seemed like they were last nights leftovers. Service was slow to bring the food out, even though the restaurant wasn't full. Drinks were brought out quickly, but soft drinks were not cold. And then the chicken didn't feel cooked in the mouth, although looked to be cooked through. Really really patchy tonight im afraid. Last time: Pretty good, food not especially spicy though.

Of all the Indian places in Dereham I only ever go to spice fusion (for takeaway or eat in). The food is absolutely delicious, there’s a huge variety - among my personal favourites are the chicken tikka masala, lamb korma, and the passanda (I don’t handle spice well!). The saag paneer is delicious too! My partner and I always get a biryani for the rice which again, is always full of flavour and very tasty. We either get a chicken tikka biryani or a vegetable biryani, both of which come with a vegetable curry but are always full of flavour, the meat is always tender and mouth wateringly good. I can’t sing their praises enough, if it’s delivery it always arrives fast and hot, the food I’ve never had any problems with (or any problems at all, for that matter), and the service and staff are always kind and polite. Spice fusion is my go to takeaway!

Why do they only take cash on certain nights?maybe HM Revenue should investigate? Food isbqverage but something fishy about the cash thing.

1st time eating here and very friendly staff food was lovely (lamb pasanda & sag aloo) definitely recommend it! The room got very loud as was a busy night but a happy atmosphere.

Quick visit to Dereham and found this surprising gem. Excellent welcome and slick service with a welcoming smile from the ladies and gents serving. Food was totally stunning, hot and top level. Shout out to the Ukrainian waitress who is so professional and experienced in customer service.

I arrived very late and was nevertheless met with a level of spice and hospitality one can only dream of. The wait staff took one look at me and understood that I like rice, and boy did they deliver. Well deserved 5 stars.

Was there for a 60th birthday bash with 12 other people. Food was delicious, we had a private section of the restaurant to ourselves, and the staff were super friendly and fun. Would definitely go again.

Superb food, but be prepared to wait a very long time for your meal if you go on a Saturday night. All their food is cooked fresh to order, and not precooked and heated up like some places. At the same time as trying to serve dine-in customers, they are also serving takeaways customers in the foyer as well as dealing with deliveries, so it can get quite manic and chaotic on Saturday evenings. Your best bet is to go later in the evening when it's a lot calmer. A long wait but worth it.

One of the nicer Indian restaurants in the area. Vibrant, spacious and well heated dining. Parking is somewhat limited although if you arrive early enough there are around 6/7 spaces to the side. The staff are all very pleasant and attentive. The food has always been severed promptly and presented well. The food is fairly flavourful although if I was to be ultra critical, does need added depth in some places to make it a five star review. The condiments and papadums are all nice and fresh. The naan bread is always fresh and high quality. The pricing is very reasonable.

Twice experienced takeaway, as an Asian my self the food was horrible. Packaged chicken emptied into a plastic container with some horrible almost blood red jar sauce poured over and heated. All sauces tasted the same. Popadams were stale. Shame on this restaurant .

Have used Spice Fusion for takeaways for around 3 years and it has been good, however the Takeaway last night was very poor. Order was incorrect when we got it home, wrong contents, some missing items, and just to top it off the Tikka was very dry and the poppadoms were overcooked with a bitter after taste. Very disappointed and will not be back.

I hadn't been to the Spice Fusion since it first opened and decided to try it again this week. I have to say that the food was amazingly good and the service was excellent. The flavours of the Madras strength Bhuna I had were extraordinary and my friend said his Garlic Chicken was equally special. I have booked in again tonight so my wife can share the experience.

I live in Manchester, so it was always going to be a high bar! Good generic sauces & very friendly. Served poppadoms quickly, then we waited a good hour before the main, which was a tad too long. Obviously a very popular & busy curry house in Dereham & reasonable - it came in @£100 for the 4 of us. . I would go again if over this way.

I have been to every curry house from King's Lynn to Dereham... this was simply the BEST. Loads of flavour, generous portions, all very fresh, and excellent value for money. The service was fantastic. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Did a spur of the moment drop in on Tuesday, not been before but the staff found us a table with a very short wait, food was fantastic! Well presented and good portions. One of the nicest curry experiences I’ve ever had, definitely recommend!

Just had a lovely meal at the Spice Fusion. You can't ask for better when it comes to the flavours in their dishes. The Dansak was superb. The service was good to. Highly recommended.

The food at this restaurant is excellent, but the other night we had a take away and were charged £6.39 more than the prices shown on the website. When I queried it they said the prices have gone up. I'm not sure you are allowed to show one price and charge another. I did query the amount at the time and was assured that it was correct as with a 10% discount it should have been £32.44 and I was charged £38.83. A £6.39 increase is quite a big one over this amount. Still not convinced I wasn't just overcharged in error.

The staff is friendly, quick, and knowledgable about so many different dishes - which is great with the wide variety they offer. Something for everyone on the menu and the poppadoms are some of the best I’ve ever had. Can’t recommend spice fusion highly enough!

Date night with a difference, our plans changed last moment and we had to include our 18month old granddaughter. We phoned the restaurant and was told it was no problem and a high chair was available. The meal was amazing and our waitress was very attentive and ensured our granddaughter had everything she needed to enjoy her meal also. A fantastic evening had by us all.

Just moved to Dereham and this is our first take-away from Spice Fusion. We found the meal, hot, tasty and excellent value for money. Will definitely be regulars from now on. Thank you

Tasted ok - not exceptional, but ok. But my lamb madras was mostly sauce - not much meat. And strangely, quite a lot of potato. Potato! In a madras! Why? Also, I could barely taste any heat; maybe just me I guess, but people I was with couldn't taste much either. Onion bhaji were ok-ish; no crunch though - like most places. On the whole, a pretty disappointing experience, although these days £67 for five isn't extornionate.

Catered well for our large group . All with a smile behind the masks. Food was great.

Disappointed. Only wine by the glass was a house wine which was not very nice. Poppadoms were precooked and kept warm, not fresh, and served on a paper plate. The menus were greasy. Service lacking any real charm. Food was ok but partners "3 chiili hot" dansak was mild and bland. We won't be back unfortunately.

This is a very sad review to write, we’ve been customers for years, and their Madras curries have in the past been delicious, I could happily eaten a dish of Madras Sauce without the meat.The last 4/5 sauces I’ve had have been totally tasteless, no hint of spice whatsoever.They must have changed chefs as the recent sauces have been disastrous, we won’t be going back until they can assure us that the chef has been replaced.Sad for us and the business, as we used to spend good money in there.Come on Spice Fusion get a better chef or you’ll not get anymore of our money!

Lovely restaurant. Great food and service. More importantly for me, they cook a superb Phal, which isn’t just hot but full of flavour. So refreshing when so many other restaurants in the country just chuck a load of chilli powder in. Having eaten Phals all over this country and abroad, this is now right up there with the best, having had a few here since they’ve been open.

I came down from Scotland for a week and was looking for a place to eat. With a reasonable price and great food I would go again and again. Worth a visit if your passing through. 10/10
